Determination of Life Microinsurance Premium Using the Commercial Rate Method
Microinsurance is insurance that is intended for people who have low incomes which is made with the aim that all levels of society can have insurance with affordable prices. Life insurance is a protection program for families in the event of unwanted things, such as death or permanent disability, to policy holders. This study aims to determine the life microinsurance premium. The data sample used is data on claim and benefit paid by life insurance company obtained from the official website of Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) Indonesia, which is assumed to have a log-normal distribution. The research method is to test the distribution of claims from the sample data using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test. Then determine the value of the claim distribution parameter, and then calculating life microinsurance premium using the Commercial Rate method. The results obtained in the form of premium for life microinsurance that are payable by low-income people
Characteristic Factors of Health Micro Insurance Against Considerations in Selection of Health Service Facilities
Indonesia is still faced with a series of health problems. One of the causes of health problems is the expensive cost of treatment. An alternative that people can choose for health financing is to have health micro-insurance aimed at lower-middle-class households. The purpose of this study was to identify factors characteristic of micro-insurance, against the consideration of choosing health service facilities. The data used were primary data obtained through a questionnaire of 220 health micro-insurance participants. This research was analyzed with a quantitative descriptive approach. The results of the analysis show that the characteristics of hospitals that are registered as good quality micro-insurance services and responsive to providing referrals to hospitals, when there are patient complaints are the main factors in considering the choice of health service facilities
The Application of 5C Analysis on the Micro People’s Business Credits Financing with Murabaha contract in Sharia Bank of Indonesia Buah Batu 2 Branch Office
Based on the results of observation and interviews, the background of this research is the fluctuation of the clients’ late-paid installment data due to the bank’s improper in analyzing potential clients. Therefore, the bank applied a 5C analysis method to prevent the clients’ failed and/or late payments at the Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Buah Batu 2 branch office. This research aims to discover how to apply the 5C principle on micro People’s Business Credits (KUR) financing at the Sharia Bank of Indonesia (BSI) Buah Batu 2 branch office. The descriptive qualitative method is applied to this research with the 5C principle as the object. Furthermore, observation, interviews, literature review, and documentation are the techniques used to collect this research’s primary data.The research findings lead to the conclusion, that is, the application of 5C analysis has been implemented by the bank before they approved the financing. Nevertheless, the bank still gets a problem in observing the character aspect of the clients for the reason that one’s character is way too complex and difficult to observe. Moreover, there are three points for the aspects of character, three points for the aspects of capacity, five points for the capital aspects, six points for the collateral aspects, and lastly, two points for the condition aspects
My Religion Keeps Me In Long Distance Marriage (LDM)
In today\u27s modern era, it is not uncommon to find married couples who do not live together and are geographically separated. This kind of marriage is usually called a Long Distance Marriage (LDM) or Commuter Marriage. Many factors are the reasons why undergoing a long-distance marriage such as improving family life in terms of economy, potentially higher income outside the city, maintaining a career, and better opportunities for career advancement. The condition of commuter marriage is not easy to live if we have strong beliefs such as good religiosity in maintaining marital satisfaction. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship of religiosity to marital satisfaction in wives who run a commuter marriage. The research subjects were 50 wives who were undergoing long-distance marriages. There are 2 questionnaires used, namely: 1) The Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS) questionnaire by Stefan Huber and Odilo W. Huber (2012) and developed by Purnomo & Suryadi (2017) with a reliability value of 0.940. 2) The marital satisfaction questionnaire uses the ENRICH marital satisfaction measuring instrument compiled by Fowers & Olson (1993) and developed by Hermaleni (2018) with a reliability value of 0.973. Analysis of research data using the use of Pearson products. Based on the results of the Pearson product moment analysis, the value that has no reference is 0.454 with p = 0.000; p 0.01, which indicates a significant positive between religiosity and marriage satisfaction of wife who has commuter marriage. Readiness of Islamic Religious Education Teachers for Digital Learning Post Pandemic Covid 19
The consequence of the Covid 19 pandemic is an increase in the use of digital-based information technology, which also applies to education. Learning was obligated to use the internet network during the Covid 19 pandemic. Regarding the Covid 19 pandemic, digital-based learning would become a necessity for teachers and students to be able to use digital-based learning devices. Teachers and students must be able to use digital devices for learning process. But the state of the problem is whether Islamic Religious Education teachers are already ready to meet the requirements of digital learning. Therefore, It is necessary to investigate the extent to which Islamic Religious Education teachers are equipped to confront all-digital learning in the future. The purpose of this study was to investigate the preparedness of Islamic Religious Education teachers in Madrasa` for digital-based learning. This study\u27s research method is a descriptive reserach. This study\u27s data source is Islamic Religious Education teachers in the Madrasa` in West Java, with a 15 Madrasa and 42 teachers as source of data. According to the findings of this study, as many as 26.18% of teachers were "very capable" of using computer devices. As many as 21.43% of teachers were "very capable" of using Microsoft office. As many as 4.76% were "very ready" for e-learning on Islamic Religious Education. An average of 9.52 teachers are "very ready" to learn through video conferencing applications. Islamic Religious Education teachers are still unprepared to deal with digital-based learning. This is due to the fact that not all teachers have mastered the software applications used for learning, as well as the limited facilities available in schools to support digital-based learning. The findings of this study suggest that teachers should improve their skills in using software for e-learning and creating digital learning tools, teaching materials, and learning documents. Madrasa provide adequate facilities to support the digital-based learning process to keep up with current technological and information developments
Analyzing the Changing Role of Professional Secretary in Dealing with The Impact of Digital Technology (A Case Study on Professional Secretaries in Indonesia)
The purpose of this research is to analyze the preparedness of secretaries’ profession in dealing with the changing role in handling administrative work and the other impacts of digital technology. The research objectives are to determine the understanding of digital technology in business administration that will have an impact on the automation and simplification of secretarial administrative work, to find out what executive secretary jobs can be replaced by the digital technology and to identify competences of the secretary. This study was carried out using descriptive qualitative methodology with online survey technique with total respondents of 150 Professional Secretaries from various companies in Indonesia, and an addition of 25 respondents, who are superiors of secretaries. The research concludes that several secretarial jobs have been supported by some developing digital technology tools. Digital technology helps increase the efficiency of secretarial administrative task, as much as 56% in document filing management, 76% in managing database, 70% in analyzing data and information, 47% in implementing and maintaining administration procedures. It helps track and streamline processes. In fact, this increased efficiency in operation helps reduce costs and time, 52% in organizing meeting, 82% in maintaining diaries, 47% in arranging manager’s business travel. This research proposes new competencies of professional secretary that need to be strengthened, specifically in the areas of the digitalization and automation secretarial administrative tasks, management office information system, data analysis, communication, and public relations function. This topic of digital technology in secretarial administrative work in Indonesia has never been discussed before. It has a substantial impact on developing secretarial profession in Indonesia and gives a boarder impact on the preparedness of development the executive secretary role in companies
Hospital Readiness in Implementing Phase One Global Budget Trial in Sumedang District
BPJS Kesehatan initiated an operational study on the implementation of the INA-CBGs and Global Budget mixed- method hospital payment system. Since 2018, trials have been carried out in 5 districts and 30 hospitals. In contrast to the INA-CBGS system, the Global budget is a method of hospital funding paid in advance by BPJS Kesehatan for all services/activities for one year that in its calculation it will consider the number of services in the previous year, upcoming activities to be carried out, and hospital performance. The trial will carry out in three stages, namely the Non-Risk Global Budget, the Partial Risk Global Budget and the Full Risk Global Budget. In its implementation, although the global budget has been initiated since 2018, the model or formulation in implementing the global budget policy still requires further study. The purpose of this study is to see the process of implementing the trial and obstacles arises to find the most suitable implementation model. The research method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research subjects were Sumedang District General Hospital, Pakuwon Hospital and Harapan Keluarga Hospital. Since September 2020 they begin to receive real quarterly payments with a non-risk stage to hospitals. The amount of withhold used in this study is 30%. The amount of the budget is calculated based on the calculation of the last three years from the hospital\u27s financial records. Preliminary results, shows that this trial is still ongoing and to continue the payment system for the second stage, the hospital withdrawn their participation is this program as there are discrepancies in the way of calculating finances in setting the budget, determining of the amount of risk that must be borne by both parties and the withhold policy. which is considered burdensome by the hospital, especially for regional general hospitals
The Effect of Linen Management on the Safety and Health of Laundry Workers at the “X” Hospital in Bandung
This study aimed to acknowledge the effect of linen management on the health and safety of laundry workers at ‘X’ Hospital in Bandung. The method of this research was a quantitative research method with a descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out by means of field observations, questionnaires, literature studies and internet browsing. The results showed that the effect of linen management on the safety and health of laundry workers was 37.5%, while 62.5% of the effect was influenced by other independent variables which were not included in this study. In the hypothesis test conducted by the author, the results of the t test were 3.549, which means t count > t table (3.549 > 2.776) so that there is a positive and significant influence between linen management and the health and safety of laundry workers at Muhammadiyah Bandung Hospital. The research found the following problems: 1) poor coordination with the nursing department so that errors still often occur in sorting linen, 2) lack of adherence to procedures, especially personal protective equipment so that it can cause washing workers to be exposed to chemical fluids, and 3) the process of recording all incidents or potential accidents do not go well in the laundry unit. The suggestions given to fix the problem are: 1) to improve communication with other units, 2) to carry out a level of supervision regarding compliance with standard operating procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE), and 3) to record all things that may become potential accidents in the report
Information System Security Audit SIMKA(Sistem Informasi Kearsipan) at Badan Pendapatan Daerah Jawa Barat Kota Bandung III Using COBIT 5 Framework and Standard IS0/IEC 27002
One of the main problems for an agency or a company is the security of information systems. High security is needed to maintain the confidentiality and misuse of information within the organization. To improve the security of business operations and the quality of information technology resources, it is necessary to evaluate to op Badan Pendapatan Daerah Jawa Barat Kota Bandung III, namely SIMKA BAPENDA whose function is to collect data on PKB (pajak kendaraan bermotor) and BBNKB (bea balik nama kendaraan bermotor) which manage the data computerized. The purpose of this study is to carry out a security audit of SIMKA BAPENDA at the Badan Pendapatan Daerah Jawa Barat Kota Bandung III using the COBIT 5 framework and ISO/IEC 27002 to document audit findings of the information system audit of the Badan Pendapatan Daerah Jawa Barat Kota Bandung III to make a report on the audit results. Based on the results of research that has been done through interviews and questionnaires using framework and using the APO13 and DSS05 sub domains, the results show that the Capability Existing is at level 1 while Capability Level is level 3 so the Capability Gap is 2
Mitigation of The Risk of Failed Harvest Pond Farming Fisheries Using The Calculating of The Premium Through The Approach to The Principle of Expectation Value
Pond cultivation is a promising business to be engaged in at this time, the demand for fish in the market is high, it opens opportunities for entrepreneurship in the field of fish cultivation. It is undeniable that several factors will cause crop failure in fish farming, both from weather factors and in the livestock process. If such an unexpected thing happened, the cultivators would be slightly affected. Therefore, there is a need for special insurance to protect farmers from financial losses due to possible risks, namely Fishery Microinsurance. This study aims to determine a reasonable amount of insurance premiums for small-scale shrimp pond aquaculture cultivators using the expectancy value principle calculation method. The data on the number of events uses the Poisson distribution, while the loss data uses the Exponential distribution in Pandeglang Regency. Next use the Maximum Likelihood Estimation method to calculate the parameter estimate. After that, the results of the parameter estimation are used to search for a collective risk model. Thus, the result of the premium calculation in this study was Rp 25.893.04
