The Impact of Ease of Digital Access on the Increase in Online Gambling Cases Among Students
This study investigates the relationship between ease of digital access and increasing online gambling participation among Indonesian university students. Through a quantitative descriptive approach involving 420 respondents from various universities, the research examines how technological advancement has influenced gambling behavior among students and its multidimensional consequences. The findings reveal a significant correlation between digital accessibility and gambling participation, with 43.3% of respondents having engaged in online gambling and 25.9% remaining active gamblers. Students with easy digital access were nearly three times more likely to gamble online compared to those with limited access. Demographic analysis showed higher participation rates among male students and those residing in urban areas with superior digital infrastructure. The research identified substantial negative impacts on participants, including psychological effects (76.4% experiencing stress and anxiety) and academic consequences (56.6% reporting decreased concentration). Despite 62% of students claiming moderate digital literacy, only 28% demonstrated true understanding of digital risks, revealing a critical gap between technical proficiency and risk awareness. The majority of gambling-involved students (67.2%) reported first encountering gambling through social media platforms, highlighting the influential role of digital marketing in normalizing gambling behavior. This study underscores the need for comprehensive interventions including enhanced digital literacy education, campus-based support services, strengthened regulatory frameworks, and innovative prevention campaigns targeting digital-native students. The research contributes to understanding how rapidly evolving digital ecosystems create unprecedented challenges in academic environments and offers strategic recommendations for institutional and governmental responses to protect student welfare and academic success
An Instrument of Restructuring Policy to Overcome The Losses of District and City Public Drinking Water Companies in Jambi Province
The Regional Water Supply Company (in Indonesian it is called PERUMDAM) is a Regional Owned Enterprise or also known as BUMD, tasked with serving the community by providing clean water for both household and industrial consumption and seeking business profits. In reality, PERUMDAM still suffers losses in financial management despite its dual mandate. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors causing PERUMDAM\u27s losses and formulate policies that can improve PERUMDAM\u27s financial health through financial management in the province of Jambi. The analysis used is a panel data regression model and an in-depth panel data analysis model. The results of the study show that the variables of production cost, production efficiency, customer growth, and tariff fulfillment percentage are variables that significantly affect PERUMDAM losses and are priorities for policy formulation to improve PERUMDAM. Meanwhile, the variables of water loss and water meter replacement are variables that do not significantly affect PERUMDAM losses in districts/cities in Jambi Province. Policy instruments for addressing PERUMDAM losses can be implemented through three priority variables: reducing production cost, improving production efficiency, and increasing customer growth
Supervision of Structured Waste Management System Based on Separate Collection Scheme as Strategy for Economic Empowerment of The Community of Melong Village, Cimahi City
The increasing volume of waste in Cimahi City has become an environmental and socio-economic challenge that demands sustainable and community-based management. This community service project aims to strengthen environmental awareness and economic empowerment through the implementation of a Structured Waste Management Monitoring System based on the Separate Collection Scheme (SKP) and the 4R principles (Replace, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) in RW 07, Melong Village. The program uses a participatory approach that combines field surveys, workshops, and mentoring involving local residents, academics, and government representatives. Activities began with a situation analysis and coordination with the Melong Village Government, followed by educational sessions and practical demonstrations on waste sorting, recycling, and monitoring practices. Pre-test and post-test assessments showed a significant increase in residents\u27 understanding of waste classification, monitoring mechanisms, and sustainable waste management practices. The implementation of the SKP model successfully drove behavioral change, fostered collective responsibility, and reduced dependence on municipal waste services. Furthermore, this initiative generated socio-economic benefits by motivating residents to develop recycling-based entrepreneurship such as waste banks, composting, and creative recycled products. The research findings demonstrate that integrated environmental education and participatory monitoring can effectively drive community transformation toward sustainability. Collaboration between academics, local government, and the community has resulted in a replicable model for structured, community-based waste management that contributes to environmental protection and economic resilience. In conclusion, this program not only addresses the local waste crisis but also lays the foundation for a circular economy framework at the village level, supporting Cimahi City\u27s vision for a clean, resilient, and sustainable urban ecosystem.

The Influence of Father Involvement on the Academic Self-Efficacy of Tenth-Grade Students at SMAN Jatinangor in the 2024–2025 Academic Year
This study aims to determine the influence of father involvement on the academic self-efficacy of 10th grade students at SMAN Jatinangor in the 2024–2025 academic year. The background of the study is based on the importance of the father\u27s role in supporting the development of a child\u27s self-belief in the academic context. This research employed a quantitative approach using a simple linear regression method. The sample consisted of 238 students selected based on specific criteria, namely those who live with both their biological father and mother. The instruments used included a father involvement questionnaire based on Hawkins et al. (2002) and an academic self-efficacy questionnaire based on Bandura’s theory (1997). The results showed that both father involvement and students\u27 academic self-efficacy were in the moderate category. The regression test produced a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05) and a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.158. This indicates that father involvement contributes 15.8% to students’ academic self-efficacy, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of father involvement on students’ academic self-efficacy. This research has implications for parents, educators, and schools to enhance father involvement as an essential factor in supporting children\u27s academic succes

This was supported by the fact that there are numerous Sacco’s in Homabay County, many of which had apparently experienced audit problems in the past. Stakeholders’ theory served as the study\u27s compass. This study adopted a descriptive causal research design, the target population was 104 audit committee members of deposit taking Sacco’s in Homabay County as at December 2021. Out of the target population determined using the Krejcie and Morgan formula, 82 members of the audit committee provided responses for the study. Primary data was collected using research questionnaire which involved drop and pick method. Descriptive statistics including a frequency table, mean, and standard deviation were used for data analysis while inferential statistics included Pearson’s correlation analysis. The study found that audit committee independence in Homabay County, Kenya, had a positive and significant impact on the caliber of audit reports on Sacco’s (r=0.530, p<0.05). The study recommends that Sacco’s audit committee members should be as independent as possible in executing their mandate so as to ensure audit reports provided are of quality

Gununghalu Arabica coffee with light, medium, and dark roasting techniques positively containing flavonoids, alkaloids, saponins, tannins, and terpenoids. The results showed that the IC50 value of Gununghalu Arabica coffee for light, medium, and dark roasting was 102.94 ppm, 70.66 ppm, and 87.66 ppm. The test results show that the antioxidant activity of Gununghalu Arabica coffee with light roasting techniques are moderate, while medium and dark roasting techniques are strong. The results of this study are expected to provide implications for the development of coffee processing techniques to have maximum health benefits
