E-Module Research Trends in Learning Physics: Bibliometric Studies in 2017-2021 Range (Before and During the COVID-19 Pandemic)
The COVID-19 pandemic that has hit the world for the past two years has created a new trend in the world of education, one of which is through the use of e-modules. The purpose of this research is to identify and describe trends in e-module research in physics learning. The method used in this research is through bibliometric studies. The research was conducted by searching online through the Scopus database in July 2022 with the keyword "e-module" in the 2017-2021 range. The search results are then sorted and saved in CSV format which is then analyzed using VOSviewer software. Through this bibliometric approach, we can obtain an overview of research trends, patterns of interrelationships, and the potential to find novelty from these trends so as to assist further research in the future. The results of data analysis show that there are countries and the most productive authors who conduct research on e-modules. In addition, bibliometric visualization shows that research on e-modules continues to grow in various topics. So that research on e-modules in the future continues to develop according to needs
Practicality of the RODE Learning Model in Order to Improve Student Communication Skills
The RODE Learning Model is designed to improve student's communication skills. The RODE learning model has four stages: Read, Outline, Discussion and Evaluation. This study aims to analyze the practicality of the RODE learning model in improving student communication skills in elementary school 2 science lectures involving 50 students as a research sample. The research data were collected using an instrument of observation sheets on the implementation of learning and observation sheets of student activities which were assessed by two observers and equipped with a record of obstacles encountered during the application of the RODE learning model. Data analysis techniques use quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that the four stages of the model, namely Read, Outline, Discussion, and Evaluation, can be carried out correctly and reliably, and there are no obstacles that cannot be overcome. In general, student activities relevant to the RODE learning model have increased in each meeting. So it can be concluded that the RODE learning model is practical because it can be carried out according to the lecture implementation plan, and student activities are relatively active. The obstacles that arise can be overcome properly
Profile of the Implementation of Discovey Learning Model in Science Learning
Research was conducted to describe and analyze the implementation of discovery learning model of science learning in Indonesia. This research method uses qualitative methods with using secondary data. The sample in this research is 30 articles published in international and national journals. Based on the analysis of 30 articles on science learning using discovery learning model in Indonesia, it can be seen that the discovery learning model has a positive impact on student learning outcomes, it can improve students' critical thinking skills, students' science process skills, students' scientific literacy, aspects of problem solving skills, and also students' understanding of concepts. there are also several disadvantages of the discovery learning model, there are; it will be optimal if it combine with media or other methods, students will be confused if they do not get the instruction from the teacher, and it require a lot of preparation and learning duration. Based on the literature review of the implementation of the discovery learning model in 2012-2021 that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the discovery learning model has a positive impact on science learning
Capilarization Game Foster Childrens’s Cognitive and Language Abilities
The purpose of the study was to analyze effect of capillary games foster children’s cognitive and language abilities. The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative approach. The experimental design used was a nonequivalent control group design. The research study was situated in an Indonesian early childhood education institution with a total of 30 children in the experimental group and 30 children in the control group. The data analysis technique in this study uses parametric statistics independent t test. The results showed that (1) there was an effect of capillary game foster children’s cognitiveve abilities, statistically the value of t = -4.382 with a significant level of p = 0.000 less than 5%; (2) there is an effect of the capillary game on childrens’s language abilities, statistically the value of t = -4.617 with a significant level of 0.000 less than 5%. Based on the results of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that cappilarry games foster childrens’s cognitive and language abilities in an Indonesian early childhood education institution.Through from cappilarry games makes the childrens was recognice many color so the cognitive abilities can be foster. Another ability, cappilarry games make the childrens fluent to be telling stories so the language abilities can be foster. The practical implication in this research is that capillary games can be the foster children’s cognitive and language abilities
The Concept of Education According to John Dewey and Cornelius Van Til and Its Implications in The Design of Early Childhood Character Curriculum
This research discusses a comparative study between the educational concepts of John Dewey and Cornelius Van Til to find a concept of education that teaches children not only to achieve intellectual intelligence but also to shape the child's character and make the child a person who fears God. This research uses a qualitative method, a literature study research approach (library). Based on the results of the research, the author makes a curriculum design that tends to Van Til's concept of education because in the idea of education according to Van Til, he emphasizes education based on God's Word, which is the basis for building human character and making children as individuals who are not only intellectually intelligent but also intellectually intelligent. The results of this research indicate that there is a sharp difference between the views of John Dewey and Cornelius Van Til regarding education. John Dewey focused education on human intelligence alone. Education must introduce children to who their Creator is so that children live responsibly towards their Creator. Education that intervenes in faith, education that applies Bible integration teaches children moral values and character to become God-fearing individual’s fear of God
Analysis of Critical Thinking Skills of Middle School Students on Environmental Pollution Materials
The ability that should be possessed by students is not only limited to learning outcomes by receiving knowledge. Critical thinking skills need to be a provision to face the demands of the 21st century. Science is a subject that can not be separated from the critical thinking skills. One of the scientific materials is environmental pollution. Research has been carried out that aims to determine the students' initial critical thinking skills. The subjects used in the study were students of Junior High School Plus Nurul Hikmah. This type of research is descriptive method. The data collection instrument used a test. The results showed that the average critical thinking skillsof students was low category. The achievement of the indicator elementary clarification scored 43% in the medium category, while the indicator the basis for the decision scored 39% in the low category. The achievement of the indicator inference obtained 46% in the medium category. The indicator advances clarification scored 43% in the medium category, while the indicator supposition and integration scored 29% in the low category. In general, category for students critical thinking skills in all indicators are low. In general, criteria for students critical thinking skills in all indicators are low
The Effect of SAVI Learning Model on Students' Critical Thinking Skills
This research aims to determine the effect of the SAVI learning model on the critical thinking skills of junior high school students. The method used in this research is one group pre-test-post test, with a descriptive quantitative approach. The test is done online via a google form. The question instrument contains 10 multiple choice questions and 5 questions on the description of the digestive system material that has been validated by the validator. This study involved 90 students of grade 8. The results showed that the validation results of critical thinking test questions obtained a mode 4 score and a reliability value of 86%, while the results of the students' critical thinking skills test showed that after the SAVI learning model was applied there was an increase obtained from the average pretest score of 40 and the average score The post-test average was 81 so that the N-gain score increased by 0.68 in the medium category, and all critical thinking indicators were achieved well
Impact Analysis of Academic Guidance and Training Soft Skill to Improve Student's Self-Concept and Independence Through Tuweb
The implementation of learning activities during the pandemic is carried out online, including learning activities at the Distance Learning Program Unit of the Open University of Semarang using Web-based Tutorials (Tuweb) using Microsoft Team. Online learning requires students to study independently. The purpose of this study was to integrate the impact of user experience, academic self-concept and adversity quetion on independent learning in students. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection techniques using a psychological scale. The psychological scale used in this study is (1) the learning independence scale. (2) academic self-concept scale (3) adversity quotient scale and (4) user experience scale. The measurement results show a TLI of 0.955. This output shows the accuracy, consistency of the accuracy of the composite reliability measuring instrument which shows the accuracy, consistency of the accuracy of a measuring instrument in making measurements. Student independence is influenced by academic self-concept and user experience, but the adversity quotient does not have a significant effect
The Role-Playing Problem-Posing Learning to Improve Students' Emotional Intelligence and Mathematics Problem-Solving Skills
The research is aimed to observe the effect of role-playing problem-posing learning methods on emotional intelligence and mathematic problem-solving ability. This research was a quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample was chosen by random sampling with Primary 4A 17 students as a control group class and Primary IV B 17 students as an experiment group class. The Data collection techniques was done through emotional intelligent questionnaire and mathematics problem-solving test. T-test was used as an analysis technique due to data collection before and after the research program. Based on T-test analysis for emotional intelligence and mathematic problem-solving ability, the data showed there was no difference before and after research in both control and experiment class with the value of sig. 2 tailed 0,303>0,05 for emotional intelligence and mathematic problem-solving ability got sig. 2 tailed scores 0,908>0,05. The differences shown in control and experiment classes after learning method in the research with the value of sig. 2 tailed 0,02<0,05 for emotional intelligence and mathematic problem-solving ability got sig. 2 tailed scores 0,01<0,05. In this research, the learning method was the only thing which caused differences, so the researcher concluded that there was an effect of role-playing problem posing learning method to students’ emotional intelligence and mathematics problem-solving abilit
Influence of Problem Posing Learning Model with Support Software Camtasia on The Ability of Understanding Student’s Mathematical
This study aims to find out how students 'activities in using the problem posing learning model with the help of Camtasia software affect to the ability of Mathematical Understanding, find out how the influence of the problem posing learning model with the help of Camtasia software on the Students' Mathematical Understanding Ability, to determine student responses in learning using problem posing learning models with the help of Camtasia software. The research is experimental method with the population all students of grade X in 7th State Senior High School Cirebon City. The respondent selected used purposive sampling technique. By comparing pretest (before being given treatment) with posttest (already given treatment). Data collection techniques using tests, observations and questionnaires. Data analysis used observation analysis, normality test, regression test and t test. The results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of students whose learning using Camtasia-based video media is better than students with conventional learning models
