    Character education is a very important aspect in forming the next generation of the nation who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also have high morals and a sense of responsibility towards society. This article aims to examine various studies related to character education in the context of basic education in Indonesia, as well as how character education can be implemented effectively to form a responsible and moral young generation. Through this literature review, it is hoped that it can provide a clear picture of the importance of character education in elementary schools as part of efforts to create a better society in the future.

    Collaborative learning and teamwork in elementary schools have been proven effective in developing students' social attitudes. Through learning activities that encourage students to work together, share ideas, and solve problems together, students not only gain academic skills but also develop positive social attitudes, such as empathy, responsibility, and effective communication. This study aims to examine how collaborative learning and teamwork can play a role in building the social attitudes of elementary school students.     Writing skills play an important role in developing creativity and critical thinking skills of elementary school students. This paper aims to analyze various literatures on the relationship between writing, creativity, and critical thinking in the context of elementary education. Using a literature study approach, this study identifies effective learning strategies and methods to improve writing skills as a means of developing student potential. The results of the study indicate that an approach based on exploring ideas, using technology, and collaborative learning can encourage students to think critically and creatively through writing activities.     PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN OPERASIONAL PENJUMLAHAN DAN PENGURUGAN SISWA DENGAN BENDA KONGKRIT

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengoperasionalkan penjumlahan dan pengurangan dengan bantuan benda-benda kongkrit. Mencapai tujuan tersebut dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas terhadap Siswa kelas I SD Inpres 28 Kabupaten Sorong sebanyak 20 siswa. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi pengamatan diskusi dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan dari kegiatan pratindakan, siklus I dan siklus II. Dalam penelitian pratindakan siswa yang mengalami ketuntasan belajar sebanyak 33,3 % setelah dilakukan tindakan dengan alat bantu benda-benda kongkrit. Ketuntasan belajar siswa dalam siklus I naik menjadi 66,6 % dilanjutkan siklus selanjutnya seluruh siswa mengalami ketuntasan belajar. . Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi pembelajaran dalam siklus I dengan standart nilai terrendah 75, siswa yang memperoleh nilai 75 sebanyak 33,3% siswa atau kurang lebih 97 % sedangkan hasil evaluasi pada siklus II dengan standart nilai yang sama, semua siswa memperoleh nilai 75 atau 100  Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah bahwa benda-benda kongkrit dapat membantu siswa dalam mengoperasionalkan penjumlahan dan pengurangan bilangan pada pembelajaran Matematika Kelas I, sehingga prestasi belajar mengalami kemajuan. Temuan yang lain siswa menjadi senang, percaya diri dalam melakukan proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan benda kongkrit. Dengan menggunakan benda kongkrit mampu meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam mengeoperasikan penjumlahan dan penguruangan.Kata Kunci : Penjumlahan, Pengurangan, Kongkri

    Children's reading interest at the Elementary School (SD) level is one of the important indicators in their academic and social development. This study aims to explore the role of parents and teachers in increasing students' reading interest. The method used is a literature study by collecting data from various relevant sources. The results of the study show that parents act as role models, providers of reading facilities, and controllers of learning time, while teachers function as facilitators, motivators, and creative teachers. In addition, supporting factors such as the availability of books and good communication between parents and teachers greatly influence children's reading interest. Conversely, low parental awareness and an unsupportive environment are obstacles. This study concludes that collaboration between parents and teachers is very important to increase children's reading interest in elementary school, which ultimately has a positive impact on their academic achievemen
