Cultural Da’wah and the Preservation of Islamic Values: The Contemporary Practice of the Attoana Tradition in Samataring Village, Indonesia
Full text linkThis study provides an account of how the Attoana tradition is practiced in Samataring Village, Jeneponto, and how the community links the ritual to Islamic teachings in everyday life. Although Attoana continues to be performed by many families, research that describes its religious orientation and its changes across generations remains limited. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the fieldwork involved observing the preparation and implementation of the ritual, conducting interviews with traditional leaders, religious figures, and family members, and documenting ritual items and prayer activities. The collected data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model to identify recurring patterns in how the community interprets Attoana. The study finds that Attoana is centered on prayer, expressions of gratitude, and the fulfillment of vows (attinja), with Qur’anic recitation, barzanji, and collective prayer forming its main religious components. These elements are consistently understood as affirming the ritual’s alignment with Islamic values rather than contradicting them. The research also notes gradual changes, such as the simplification of symbolic items and the less frequent involvement of younger participants, though the structure of the ritual remains intact. These findings indicate that Attoana continues to serve as a cultural setting through which Islamic values are transmitted and practiced, functioning as a form of cultural da’wah embedded in everyday community life

Full text linkKemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi diharapkan dapat memudahkan guru membuat media pembelajaran untuk mata pelajaran yang membutuhkan biaya tinggi. Salah satu salah satu mata pelajaran yang bisa memanfaatkan perkembangan teknologi adalah mata pelajaran TIK. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk merancang media pembelajaran dan melihat kelayakan terhadap aplikasi media pembelajaran komputer berbasis android terhadap siswa SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Luther yaitu: konsep, perancangan, pengumpulan bahan, pembuatan, pengujian dan distribusi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah menggunakan angket. Penelitian ini menghasilkan aplikasi media pembelajaran komputer berbasis android yang sudah di validasi oleh ahli media,. serta ahli materi oleh guru SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh. Aplikasi Media Pembelajaran Komputer Berbasis Android ini mendapat nilai presentase 90,3% dari siswa SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh yang dimana hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa Aplikasi Media Pembelajaran Komputer Berbasis Android sangat layak untuk digunakan oleh siswa SMP Negeri 4 Banda Aceh
Strategi Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan dalam Pemberdayaan Petani Kopi di Kabupaten Bener Meriah
Full text linkSetelah Brazil, Vietnam dan Kolombia, Indonesia menjadi penghasil kopi terbesar keempat di dunia. Sesuai data dari Kementerian Pertanian tahun 2018, Aceh merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil kopi terbesar di Indonesia, khususnya di Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Sehingga mayoritas mata pencaharian warga daerah ini adalah bertani kopi. Keunggulan kopi Gayo telah dikenal sampai ke mancanegara. Akan tetapi belum ada upaya yang menyeluruh dari pihak pemerintah daerah sebagaimana amanat dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 13 Tahun 2019 Tentang Perlindungan dan Pemberdayaan Petani. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi strategi dari Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan Kabupaten Bener Meriah dalam memberdayakan para petani kopi serta kendala yang dihadapi oleh pihak dinas. Melalui metode penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa dalam upaya pemberdayaan petani kopi, Dinas Pertanian dan Pangan Kabupaten Bener Meriah telah melakukan beberapa strategi; Ppndidikan dan pelatihan, penyuluhan dan pendampingan, sistem dan sarana hasil perkebunan, serta fasilitas pemberdayaan dan permodalan. Sedangkan beberapa hambatan yang ditemui adalah rendahnya SDM, anggaran yang terbatas, kurangnya kesadaran petani untuk mengupgrade pengetahuan agar hasil kopi mereka bernilai jual lebih tinggi, serta tidak adanya pengawasan berkelanjutan yang dilakukan oleh dinas dalam upaya penguatan kelembagaan petani

Full text linkThis research discusses the influence of information needs on the information-seeking behavior of library users at the UPT Library of the University of Bengkulu. Information needs are crucial in the decision-making process, problem-solving, and knowledge development. The more actively individuals engage in information-seeking, the more significant their information needs become. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of information needs on the information-seeking behavior of library users at the UPT Library of the University of Bengkulu. The research method used is quantitative, and the statistical analysis tool employed is SPSS 25.0. The population of this study consists of 41,944 individuals, with a sample size of 100 respondents determined using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation. The data were analyzed using the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation test. The results of the product-moment correlation test showed a value of 0.702 between the information needs variable and the information-seeking behavior of library users at the UPT Library of the University of Bengkulu, indicating a strong correlation. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence of information needs on the information-seeking behavior of library users, with a strong correlation (0.60-0.799). The data were also analyzed using the Coefficient of Determination (R²) test. Based on the coefficient of determination calculation, it was found that the influence of information needs is 49.1%, while the remaining 50.9% of the information-seeking behavior is influenced by other variables
Nahdlatul Ulama and Environmental Engagement in Coastal Bengkalis amid Ecological Crisis
Full text linkThis article explores how Nahdlatul Ulama (NU), through its local branch in Bengkalis (PCNU), responds to the worsening ecological crisis in one of Indonesia’s most vulnerable coastal regions. Using a qualitative case study approach that combines field interviews, participant observation, and document analysis, this study investigates how Islamic environmental ethics—particularly fiqh al-bi’ah and maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah—are translated into collective practices through grassroots religious initiatives. Two key programs are highlighted: Green Pesantren, which integrates ecological education, reforestation, and sustainable practices into Islamic boarding schools; and Mimbar Dakwah, which encourages preachers to include environmental themes in sermons as a form of moral advocacy. These initiatives show how religious discourse can shape environmental behavior and public consciousness at the community level. However, the study also identifies major obstacles, including economic hardship, weak policy enforcement, limited institutional support, and escalating climate impacts. Despite these barriers, PCNU plays a critical role in mobilizing religious networks, shaping local ecological narratives, and promoting community resilience. The findings contribute to the sociology of religion and environmental studies by demonstrating how faith-based organizations can serve as agents of social action and environmental engagement, especially in regions where state capacity is limited

Full text linkHome Ownership Loans (KPR) in the community are not only in demand by those with middle income or target groups as regulated by the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Number 242/KPTS/M/2020, but also those with high income. Such ownership is a common ownership, known by the developer and the bank appointed as the debtor by the government without any legal sanctions. In practice, existing motives such as profit-seeking, investment, and others are carried out in various ways. The problem is the legal aspect of the validity of mortgage ownership by non-target groups, which is further elaborated into 1) How is the mechanism of ownership of subsidised houses regulated in the Decree of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Number 242/KPTS/M/2020, and 2) how is the legal certainty of the ownership contract of subsidised houses according to the Ministerial Decree in the perspective of ghasab law—seeing the importance of knowing how Islamic law reviews the ownership of subsidised houses/mortgages by non-target groups. This research uses descriptive analysis. Data sources are divided into two types: legal sources, such as regulations and fiqh studies. No full textThis research aims to examine the challenges related to the integration of AI into learning translation from Indonesian to Arabic, with a focus on the educational and ethical impacts resulting from this integration. The findings suggest that overcoming these challenges requires a holistic approach that combines technical and ethical awareness, while improving the quality of education and developing student skills through collaboration between various stakeholders, including governments, educational institutions and the technology industry. It also highlights the importance of finding sustainable solutions that support education, and emphasizes the need for collaborative efforts to integrate AI more effectively into translation learning. In conclusion, the research emphasizes the importance of understanding the challenges and opportunities presented by artificial intelligence, and the need to adopt integrated educational and ethical strategies to ensure that the maximum benefit is made of the potential of artificial intelligence in language education

Kompetensi Sosial Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Pembinaan Karakter Siswa di SMA Negeri 12 Banda Aceh
Full text linkTeachers are required to have adequate social competence to establish effective communication and interaction with students, fellow educators, and education staff, parents or guardians of students, and the community. Teachers who are able to implement their social competencies optimally directly provide positive role models who can become role models for students. This research aims to identify the social competence of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers and their relevance in developing student character, the opportunities and challenges faced in this process, as well as the efforts made by PAI teachers to develop their social competence at SMA Negeri 12 Banda Aceh. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection methods in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research results show: First, the social competence of PAI teachers: PAI teachers at SMA Negeri 12 Banda Aceh demonstrate the ability to communicate and establish good relationships with various parties, be inclusive, be objective, non-discriminatory, and be able to adapt well to their place of work. Second, the relevance of social competence in developing student character: PAI teachers' social competence has a positive influence on the formation of student character because students tend to imitate the teacher's behavior as a role model. Third, opportunities and challenges: Opportunities for successful character development are supported by the school principal, colleagues, and the participation of parents and guardians. However, the main challenge comes from the influence of peers and internal factors of students who are less motivated to improve their character. Fourth, efforts to develop social competence: PAI teachers actively participate in social activities and take part in training to improve their social skills
BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF TRANSACTIONS IN E-COMMERCE FROM A SHARIAH ECONOMIC PERSPECTIVE
Full text linkTechnology development has become an important issue in recent decades. Technology has become an important necessity for humans in life. Like transactions in the market that have adopted technology by creating e-commerce so that transactions become effective and efficient. This study aims to analyze the development of research on e-commerce transactions from an Islamic economic perspective, addressing critical issues such as the integration of shariah principles in digital transactions and the impact of technology on Islamic finance. This research uses a bibliometric approach, utilizing data from scientific databases such as Web of Science and Scopus to identify relevant publications and analyze citation patterns. The methodology includes data collection, processing and descriptive statistical analysis to uncover trends in the literature from 2015 to 2025. Key findings revealed a significant increase in publications, with over 1,000 papers and a total of 1,156 citations, indicating a growing interest in this field. The analysis highlighted a shift towards qualitative research methods, as evidenced by the prevalence of keywords related to user experience and empirical validation. In addition, emerging themes such as sustainability and risk management in e-commerce transactions are gaining traction, reflecting contemporary concerns within an Islamic economic framework. The study concludes that the research landscape is evolving, with each author contributing significantly to the discourse. The interconnectedness of concepts such as fairness, trust and adherence to Shariah principles underscores the need for a comprehensive understanding of consumer behavior in shariah-compliant e-commerce
