Get PDFEvaluasi kinerja tenaga kependidikan merupakan aspek penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas layanan akademik dan administratif di institusi pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja tenaga kependidikan di Fakultas Teknik Universitas XYZ menggunakan metode SMARTER (Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique Exploiting Rank). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, di mana data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner berbasis skala Likert. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa tenaga kependidikan memiliki keunggulan dalam komunikasi dan kerja sama tim, namun masih perlu perbaikan dalam aspek produktivitas, efisiensi kerja, serta inisiatif dan pengembangan diri. Selain itu, diusulkan strategi peningkatan kinerja tenaga kependidikan mencakup pelatihan keterampilan komunikasi, program pengembangan diri, penerapan sistem umpan balik, serta optimalisasi proses kerja. Studi lebih lanjut dapat dilakukan dengan memperluas cakupan penelitian atau mengombinasikan metode lain untuk memperkaya hasil analisis

Get PDFOccupational Safety and Health (OSH) is a crucial aspect of practical learning, especially in vocational education that focuses on technical skills. The Applied Bachelor’s Degree Program in Electrical Engineering at Manado State Polytechnic has a curriculum that involves various practical activities, including electrical and mechanical work. The risk of work accidents in this learning process is relatively high, making the effective implementation of an OSH system essential to creating a safe and conducive learning environment. This study was conducted in the Applied Bachelor’s Degree Program in Electrical Engineering at Manado State Polytechnic to evaluate the implementation of the OSH system in practical learning. The evaluation aims to identify aspects that need improvement or enhancement to minimize the risk of accidents and ensure compliance with applicable safety standards. The research methodology includes literature review and descriptive study. The literature review examines relevant OSH regulations and guidelines, while the descriptive study is carried out through observations and interviews with individuals involved in practical activities. The findings indicate that although the OSH system has been implemented, there are still aspects that need improvement, particularly in providing OSH facilities and equipment for working at heights. Observations reveal that the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as full-body harnesses and other supporting tools, has not been fully implemented in accordance with applicable safety standards. This evaluation can serve as a foundation for developing more effective policies to improve safety and the quality of practical learning in vocational education
Emotional Stability and Self-Control: A Case Study of University Taekwondo Athletes
Get PDFIn taekwondo matches, some taekwondo athletes have difficulty managing their emotions and self-control when experiencing unexpected things in the middle of the game, this makes athletes lose focus on their match so athletes have a lack of confidence and damage the match pattern that has been planned before the game starts, such as kicking that does not hit the point repeatedly, and not protecting the body protector properly. This results in athletes experiencing defeat in the match which adds to the emotions of athletes becoming increasingly mixed up and unable to control themselves. Existing studies are still limited in examining the relationship between emotional stability and self-control in university taekwondo athletes. Therefore, this study aims to fill this gap by examining the relationship between the two variables in university taekwondo athletes, The researcher also aims to test the relationship between emotional stability and self-control in university taekwondo athletes. This study uses a descriptive method with a quantitative approach involving 30 taekwondo athletes from the Indonesian Education University. The instruments used in this study are cross-sectional taken from the UWIST Mood Adjective Checklist (UMAC) and Brief Self-Control Scale. After the data has been obtained, data analysis is carried out by correlation testing using SPSS 25. The results of the study showed that there was a significant relationship between the emotional stability and self-control of university taekwondo athletes. This study concludes that emotional stability and self-control play an important role in the self-control of university taekwondo athletes
Survey of Level of Satisfaction of Rafting Tourists in Bingai River Explore Sumatra Langkat Regency North Sumatera Year 2025
Get PDFThe purpose of this study was to determine the level of visitor satisfaction at Explore Sumatra in 2025 with the services provided by the manager. This research was conducted at the Explore Sumatra operator Sungai Bingai, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. Data collection starts from January 08 - March 09, 2025. The number of samples in this study amounted to 40 people. This research is a type of descriptive research using the survey method, data collection techniques using the accidental sample method (accindental sampling). The instrument used is a questionnaire, with validity and reliability tests. To analyze the data used descriptive quantitative with percentages. The results showed that the level of visitor satisfaction with the services provided by Explore Sumatra operators was in the “Quite Satisfied” category of 55%. And the results of research based on elements, namely: (1) Attracions (“Quite Satisfied”: 57.5%), (2) Facilities (“Satisfied”: 95%), (3) Infrastructure (“Less Satisfied”: 75%), (4) Transportations (‘Satisfied’: 55%), (5) Hospitally (“Satisfied”: 50%). It can be concluded that the level of satisfaction that has been given by the manager of Explore Sumatra to visitors is in the “Quite Satisfied” category

Get PDFKehidupan masyarakat sehari-hari tidak terlepas dari berbagai permasalahan atau perselisihan yang berujung pada terjadinya sengketa yang dapat merugikan bagi para pihak yang bersengketa sehingga memerlukan upaya penyelesaian untuk memberikan kepastian hukum dan keadilan salah satunya melalui mediasi sebagai alternatif penyelesaian sengketa di luar pengadilan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum normatif, dengan pendekatan perundang-undangan dan pendekatan kasus. Hasil penelitian, Pertama, bahwa ketentuan tentang alternatif penyelesaian sengketa telah diatur sejak jaman Hindia Belanda yang dinyatakan masih berlaku hingga digantikan dengan ketentuan yang baru, dan kemudian Pemerintah Indonesia telah mengesahkan Undang-Undang Nomor 30 Tahun 1999 tentang Arbitrase dan Alternatif Penyelesaian Sengketa sebagai dasar hukum dalam penyelesaian sengketa yang terjadi dalam kehidupan masyarakat di Indoensia. Kedua, bahwa implementasi alternatif penyelesaian sengketa dalam jual beli melalui mediasi dapat menjadi pilihan masyarakat dalam menyelesaian sengketa yang terjadi karena memiliki kelebihan atau keuntungan antara lain biaya yang murah, cepat dan saling menguntungkan bagi para pihak yang bersengketa (win-win solution) menggunakan mediator sebagai penengah yang tidak memihak dan menawarkan solusi yang mengakomodir kepentingan para pihak yang bersengketa

Employment Termination Dispute Between Airline and Flight Attendant: A Legal Analysis of Industrial Relations in The Aviation Sector
Get PDFTermination of employment (PHK) represents one of the most complex and frequent forms of industrial disputes, particularly in the aviation industry, a sector that demands strict adherence to professionalism standards, including physical appearance and presentation. This study aims to analyze the employment termination dispute between PT Garuda Indonesia and Bhonita Sary (former flight attendant) based on Decision Number 134/Pdt.Sus-PHI/2018/PN Srg. This research employs a normative juridical method with a statutory approach and court decision analysis, focusing on the interpretation of employment contracts and the application of labor regulations. The findings reveal that the basis for the termination was the flight attendant\u27s non-compliance with weight requirements, which was considered a breach of the employment agreement, particularly concerning service standards and corporate image. Although the company had provided the employee with an opportunity to adjust her weight according to the stipulated standards, differing interpretations of the contract clauses became the primary factor leading to the dispute. In its considerations, the panel of judges declared the termination legally valid, referring to the dispute resolution procedures that had been conducted in accordance with Law Number 2 of 2004 on the Settlement of Industrial Relations Disputes. This decision underscores the importance of legal certainty and compliance with employment contracts but also opens a critical discourse on balancing the company\u27s right to regulate work standards with the worker’s right to fair labor protection

The purpose of this paper is to assess the success of RAD implementation by taking into account the advantages and disadvantages, challenges faced, and how to make RAD implementation run effectively. The method used in this writing is a literature study. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that in the implementation of the RAD method, it is necessary to pay attention to what projects are being run, whether human resources are sufficient, and what applications are developed. This needs to be done because RAD is not a suitable method for all types of applications, especially new applications. The use of the right tools is highly recommended to support rapid development. The success of RAD is highly dependent on the project context and the capabilities of the development team, and further research is needed to evaluate the effectiveness of RAD in different types of software projects
Sistem Deteksi Stunting Sebagai Program Intervensi Gizi di Kelurahan Teluk Pucung
Get PDFThe prevalence of stunting in Indonesia is currently at 21.6%, which is down from the initial value of 24.4% in 2022. There is a failure in the process of improving nutritional status that causes babies and toddlers to indicate stunting. Stunting is a condition where children experience growth disorders, so that their height is not in accordance with their age as a result of chronic nutritional problems, namely lack of nutritional intake for a long time. Data shows that stunting in children can have a long-term impact on their health and development, creating serious challenges in achieving the full potential of future generations. Insufficient intake of adequate nutrition, unequal access to quality health services, and supported by healthy eating practices and lack of a supportive environment are the main factors that trigger high stunting rates, demanding integrated interventions to address the root of the problem. Bhayangkara University of Greater Jakarta as a private sector that should collaborate in efforts to improve the nutritional status of the Indonesian people carried out real lecture work (KKN) in one of the villages in Bekasi City, namely Teluk Pucung village. A holistic approach that considers social, economic, and educational factors in efforts to improve nutritional status is essential. Intervention programs should not only focus on providing nutritious food, but also on family economic empowerment, increasing mothers\u27 knowledge about nutrition and child health and improving access to quality health services
