    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang maksimalnya kegiatan budaya literasi yang diterapkan oleh sekolah serta rendahnya hasil belajar khususnya pada mata pelajaran Ilmu pengetahuan Sosial siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Leuwiliang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya literasi sekolah terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 1 Leuwiliang. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh variabel X terhadap variabel Y pada siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Leuwiliang. Data tersebut dianalisis dengan mengguunakan rumus analisis deskriptif korelasional dan regresi linear sederhana, dan diperoleh hasil nilai thitung lebih kecil dari ttabel yakni 1,1969 < 1,9965 yang berarti H0 diterima dan Ha ditolak. Maka kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat pengaruh antara budaya literasi sekolah terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 1 Leuwiliang

    Profesionalisme guru merupakan faktor penting dalam peningkatan kualitas mutu pendidikan. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhinya adalah komunikasi kepala seklah. Keberhasilan komunikasi kepala sekolah yang ada, diharapkan aan memberikan pengaruh terhadap profesionalisme guru. namun seberapa besar pengaruh komunikas kepala sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru perlu diteliti. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Responden penelitian dipilih terhadap guru SMK Insan Madani Sukajaya yang berjumlah 25 Orang. Berdasarkan analisis data disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang tidak signifikan antara komunikasi kepala sekolah terhadap profesionalisme guru, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata sebesar 33% sisanya 67%, kiranya perlu diperhatikan agar komunikasi kepala sekolah yang ada dapat lebih baik sehingga profesionalisme guru dapat meningkat. Dalam upaya untuk meningkatkan profsionalisme guru baik kepala sekolah maupun guru meningkatkan kepercayaan, keterbukaan, dan saling mengerti, sehingga guru terjalin komunikasi yang baik dan sehat antara sub kerja yanag satu dengan yang lainnya

The reader of this article is expected to understand how the role of emotions in the learning process, using cognitive psychology theory and neuroscience  analysis from this study.     The purpose of this research is to investigate assessment practices in English learning classes at junior high school, particularly in education, and to know what kinds of assessments are often used by English teachers. This study use a qualitative descriptive method using observation and interviews. The object ofthis research was three English teachers who teach English at SMP Negeri 4 Leuwiliang. Therefore, the writer hopes this research give helpful information for anyone directly or indirectly related to education. The results show that traditionaland alternative are used to measure different types of abilities, and at this time teachers are still dominant in using traditional assessments, because they areeasier to use than authentic assessments which require more time and accuracy

    The main objective of this research is to investigate the technique of teaching vocabulary in English learning using picture pocket game to enrich elementary[1]age students' vocabulary in the classroom. This research was taken at 3 elementary schools, namely SDN Cibatok 03, SDS Al-Husna Leuwiliang and SDIT Bumi Putera Pamijahan. The method of this research is qualitative descriptive method that using purposive sampling. The instruments of this research used observation, field note, interview and documentation in collecting data. The result of this research shows that picture pocket game was a proper technique of teaching English vocabulary to enrich elementary-age students. Furthermore, the picture pocket game can encourage students’ interest and motivate in learning English, also make a pleasant atmosphere in the classroom.     This research aim to know the extent to which Citrus Media be able improve children cognitive science skills between 5-6 years old. The research was implemented at group B Raudhatul Athfal Al Munawaroh West Cikarang Bekasi.The methods on this research is Class Action Research (CAR). The research was implemented at the Raudhatul Athfal Al Munawaroh West Cikarang Bekasi. Techniques of data collection is done using observation instrument, field notes, and documentation conducted in every cycle. Result achieved show an improvement in children cognitive science skills between 5-6 years old after a given action as much as two cycles. Increase the ability of children can be seen from the data in each cycle result percentage, percentage of the result in pre cycle is 27%. Percentage of pre cycle low due to it has not given learning activity using citrus media. Percentage result in the first cycle occurs an increased as big as 58,75% this because it has been using citrus media, but has not yet maximally mastered. And percentage result on the second cycle become amount 86,25% due to the children have already been familiar with citrus media that is to capable of doing his own experiments and can conclude his experimental results. Implication of this research is election appropriate media by the society and school in teaching of cognitive science skill will be given optimal result in the ability of cognitive science early childhood. With cognitive sciencelearning for the next level will be easier and no more rigid learning (using LKA only) to early childhood in experimental / exploratory learning, especially in cognitive science teaching

    ERROR ANALYSIS OF SUNDANESE ENGLISH STUDENT’ PRONUNCIATION ON FRICATIVE SOUND

    This research aims to investige the main factors that cause the students` English pronunciation errors on fricative sound and to identify the types of the students` English pronunciation errors on fricative sound pronounced by Sundanese students at STKIP Muhammadiyah Bogor. The writer collects data and does the following: through interviews with Sundanese students by record the pronunciation and analyze the errors based on the concept of Error Analysis of multiple sources. Research findings indicated that factor and types of error. Firstly, the data found that the most apparent causes or factors of pronunciation errors are: first, the interlingual transfer that affected students` mother tongue Second, the intralingual transfer that focused on students’ target languagegeneralization, inaccurate rules and misunderstand the rules. Third, context of learning that covered in social and classroom situation. Secondly, the writer drew the conclusion based on the analysis of test : It is proven that students make four kinds of errors, namely: Types of English fricative consonant errors made by students are omission errors (28), addition errors (41), formation errors (17), and arrangement errors (6)

    Minat baca merupakan keinginan yang kuat dari dalam diri seseorang untuk melakukan kegiatan membaca serta menyukai dan menikmati aktifitas membaca. Minat baca yang baik merupakan salah satu indikator kemajuan literasi sekaligus menjadi indikator kemajuan bangsa. Minat baca sebaiknya distimulus pada usia sedini mungkin. Karena pada usia dini merupakan periode emas dalam perkembangan otak manusia. Salah satu langkah yang bisa dilakukan adalah dengan kegiatan literasi keluarga. Kegiatan-kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dalam program literasi keluarga adalah kegiatan orang tua membacakan buku kepada anak baik di rumah ataupun di sekolah, kegiatan membuat pojok baca di rumah, kegiatan field trip berkunjung ke perpustakaan atau ke toko buku dan kegiatan evaluasi dalam bentuk home visit.     DEVELOPING EXTENSIVE READING STRATEGIES: A Case Study of Ten Indonesian EFL Learners

    This study investigates how extensive reading strategies affect tertiary level EFL students’ English reading attitudes, reading comprehension and vocabulary acquisition. A case study of ten Indonesian EFL learners at STKIP Muhammadiyah Bogor Teacher Training Institute who followed an extensive reading program for 12 weeks is presented. Students’ attitudes to the extensive reading strategies implemented were collected using qualitative data using documentation and interviews. Factors affecting motivation to read, such as time management, interest level and ease of reading material will be discussed. The study showed that the proficiency level of Indonesian EFL students in extensive reading is particularly affected by time management and the appropriateness of the level of reading materials. Students responded positively to extensive reading for a variety of reasons and extensive reading can motivate them to read more widely in English. The findings support Day and Bamford’s (2002) ten principles for extensive reading

    Pengaruh Self Disclosure Terhadap Job Involvement Tenaga Pendidik Di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Negeri SeKecamatan Cibungbulang Kabupaten Bogor. Skripsi, Administrasi Pendidikan STKIP Muhammadiyah Bogor. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya self disclosure tenaga pendidik serta kurang maksimalnya job involvement tenaga pendidik SMP Negeri Se-Kecamatan Cibungbulang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh self disclosure terhadap job involvement tenaga pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Angket, Observasi dan Dokumentasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Metode kuantitatif digunakan untuk menguji pengaruh variabel X terhadap variabel Y pada tenaga pendidik di SMP Negeri Se-Kecamatan Cibungbulang. Data yang diperoleh dari analisis dengan menggunakan rumus analisis deskriptif, korelasional dan regresi dengan hasil thitung lebih besar daripada ttabel yakni 10,13 > 1,658 yang berarti H0 ditolak sedangkan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat faktor lain diluar pengaruh self disclosure terhadap job involvement tenaga pendidik karena berdasarkan tabel interpretasi data pengaruh ini digolongkan dalam kriteria rendah sebesar 35,4 % sedangankan 64,6% keberadaan job involvement ditentukan oleh faktor (variabel) lain
