INFLUENCE OF EMOTIONAL DETERMINANTS ON THE FOOD CHOICES OF THE PORTUGUESE
Food choices are influenced by many factors, such as emotional. When people eat, driven by emotional factors, they often lose control, which may lead to eating disorders. Therefore, this work aimed at studying the influence that emotional determinants had on people’s food choices. It was undertaken a descriptive cross-sectional study by means of a questionnaire on a non-probabilistic sample of 1314 participants. The data was collected among a sample of the Portuguese population and measured if people´s food choices were influenced by emotional determinants. The results revealed that the participants’ food choices were, in general, slightly influenced by emotional determinants (mean scores between –0.5 and 0.5, on a scale from –2 to +2). There were found significant differences in all of the variables under study. The participants, who already experienced an episode of binge-eating, were the ones that obtained the highest mean score (0.63±0.79), meaning that in this case those participants’ food choices were influenced by emotional determinants. These results support the premise that emotional determinants are influenced by the characteristics of each individual and also the existence of a positive association between emotional eating and the presence of eating disorders, especially, binge-eating

Since any business corporation has to adopt one of these theories, this study reveals the strength and challenges of every theory. There is no doubt that every theory has been well analyzed by its founder or scholar, but an advanced understanding for every theory will make it possible for a corporation’s managers and decision makers to implement long term social and environmental strategies with more accurate achievements. This article is divided into four main sections, the first section presents Carroll’s model for CSR, followed by the second, which is about the Triple Bottom Line theory for CSR, and the third represents the Stakeholder theory. The fourth section analyzes three CSR theories and sheds light on the core responsibility of every theory. Comprehensive analysis for the three recognized CSR models was represented in a table to help readers to locate and clarify systemic differences and common features between the three theories. The last section of the article reveals three main outcomes, the first outcome represents a recommendation for the implementation process of adopting any of the three theories, and which is divided into an internal and external level. The second outcome reveals the importance of addressing a specialized committee for CSR by a company, followed by the third outcome that discusses some of the implications of this analysis for future CSR research and studies

In the 21st century media has become the dominant source of knowledge of Islam and Muslims and selectively decides what the West should know about Islam and what should be hidden. However, the underlying assumption is that, the media as an institution forming stereotypes depends on the local socio-cultural context. The goal of this paper – to find out how media (as the mediator) forms values, world view of a society, creates stereotypes in different cultural environments through analysis of Muhammad cartoons. The objectives are: to define the concepts of Neo-Orientalism, Muslimophobia and Islamophobia; to find out the connection between media representations and negative images of Islam and Muslims in the society; to reveal the main stereotypes of Muslims and Islam in online media in 4 different countries by analysing the case of Muhammad cartoons. The conducted qualitative and quantitative content analysis confirmed the hypothesis that in the specific cultures the same event is presented in different ways while forming value based orientation for a specific audience. Western media seeks to portray Muslims as terrorists / Islamists that are against West, their values and any possibility of integration in Western societies. Meanwhile, Lebanon and India (Kashmir) media does not portray orientalism and Islamophobic views, because audiences are dominated by Muslims. However there are noticeable manifestations of Occidentalism - resistance to the West and the Islamophobic portrayal of public in media. Moreover, information serves as a public mobilization function, so there are reasons to believe that violent protests in Kashmir and Lebanon could have been encouraged by the media

Using the conducted analysis and given examples, realized by the author of the paper, there are presented main methods that can be the same instrument in the work of an artist-designer that allows him/her to solve the problem of improving ecologization of the interior environment with more professionalism, and also the creative task in placing artworks in the coloristic space of an interior
EVOLUTION OF THE BACKGROUND SYSTEM OF INTEGRATION OF DOMESTIC ENTERPRISES INTO THE WORLD ECONOMY: THEORETICAL PROBLEMS
Modern civilization processes are due to production processes. In any management system, the enterprise is its key element. The theoretical definitions of the essence of “production” and “enterprise” concepts in certain aspects do not coincide with the corresponding legal definitions. This clearly illustrates the dynamics of domestic legislation at the stages of the adoption of relevant laws of Ukraine from the “Law on Enterprises” to the Economic Code of Ukraine. Prospects for the integration of domestic enterprises into international production networks are significantly dependent on their ability to move to modern management standards, systematically coordinated with sustainable development processes based on innovatization, focused on the requirements of entry into the information society space. In Ukraine, during the period of state independence, the adoption as a national series of key international standards is implemented. But the unevenness of the evolution of the components of both constant and technological development is also determined. This gives rise to corresponding negative consequences and requires a search for mechanisms by which the characteristics of the harmony of the above components will be determined, on the basis of which it will be possible to effectively manage them in order to bring them to the desired stat
