    Promatrajući turizam kao skup svih djelatnosti gospodarstva kojeg određuje (turistička) potražnja, ovaj rad ima za svrhu procijeniti ukupan, izravan i neizravan, doprinos turizma gospodarstvu Hrvatske. Malo je pojmova koji su danas u upotrebi tako često kao turist i turizam. Rabe ih svakodnevno milijuni ljudi diljem svijeta. Turizam se, prema posebnim pojavnim oblicima ili tipovima, definira s obzirom na izabrani kriterij prema kojemu grupiramo promet turista. Da bismo ostvarili dobru interakciju s turistima potrebno je slušati prijedloge struke, prije svega menadžment koji radi na tome da se turistička ponuda ne svodi samo na osnovnu ponudu koja se sastoji od sunčanja, kupanja ili ispijanja piva, nego prije svega vodi računa o aktivnom odmoru i krajnjem zadovoljstvu korisnika koji će se vratiti u svoju svakodnevicu obogaćen novim iskustvima. Isto tako je važno naglasiti koliko je bitno odgovorno ponašanje prema prirodi i lokalnoj zajednici da u konačnici svi imaju korist iz toga. Zadovoljni turist se rado vraća, ali ne na štetu lokalnog stanovništva.Observing tourism as a set of all economic activities determined by (tourist) demand, the purpose of this paper is to assess the total, direct and indirect, contribution of tourism to the economy of Croatia. There are few terms that are in use today as often as tourist and tourism. They are used by millions of people around the world every day. Tourism, according to special forms or types, is defined with regard to the selected criterion according to which we group tourist traffic. In order to achieve a good interaction with tourists, it is necessary to listen to the suggestions of the profession, first of all the management that works to ensure that the tourist offer is not limited to the basic offer consisting of sunbathing, swimming or drinking beer, but above all takes care of active rest and to the ultimate satisfaction of the user, who will return to his everyday life enriched with new experiences. It is also important to emphasize how important responsible behavior towards nature and the local community is so that ultimately everyone benefits from it. A satisfied tourist is happy to return, but not at the expense of the local population

    Ovaj završni rad istražuje specifičnosti upravljanja ljudskim potencijalima u Javnoj ustanovi Nacionalni park Krka. U uvodu se analizira važnost upravljanja ljudskim resursima u zaštićenim područjima. Razmatraju se osnovni pojmovi ljudskih resursa, s posebnim naglaskom na poslovne aspekte i odgovornosti menadžera. Rad detaljno razmatra strategije upravljanja temeljenima na podacima, etičke aspekte, i motivaciju zaposlenika. Također, istražuje kako vanjski trendovi i specifičnosti zaštite prirode utječu na upravljanje ljudskim resursima. Analizirani su procesi zapošljavanja, razvoja i nagrađivanja te unutarnje ustrojstvo kao ključni elementi upravljanja u NP Krka. Rad naglašava važnost brendiranja i unapređenja ponude za poboljšanje iskustva posjetitelja. Cilj rada je pružiti pregled izazova i strategija za učinkovito upravljanje ljudskim potencijalima u ovoj specifičnoj javnoj ustanovi.This thesis investigates the specifics of human resource management at the Public Institution National Park Krka. It begins by analyzing the importance of managing human resources in protected areas. Key concepts of human resources are discussed, with a focus on business aspects and managerial responsibilities. The thesis explores data-driven management strategies, ethical considerations, and employee motivation in detail. It also examines how external trends and the specifics of nature conservation impact human resource management. Processes such as recruitment, development, and rewarding are analyzed, along with internal organization as key elements in NP Krka. The importance of branding and enhancing offerings to improve visitor experience is highlighted. The aim of the thesis is to provide an overview of the challenges and strategies for effective human resource management within this specific public institution

    Ecological protection of vineyards against plant pests

    Vinova loza (Vitis vinifera L.) pripada rodu Vitis i vrsta je koja se razvila na području Europe i zapadne Azije. Rod Vitis jedan je od deset rodova porodice Vitaceae. Na uspješan razvoj i uzgoj vinove loze najviše utječu okolinski uvjeti poput klime, tla i reljefa. S obzirom da je čovjek nerazdvojivi dio prirode, potrebno je pažljivo gospodariti prirodnim resursima, stoga se u ekološkom vinogradarstvu upotrebljavaju biološki pesticidi, organska gnojiva i biostimulatori za održavanje plodnosti tla. Najvažniji štetnici vinograda su pepeljasti i žuti grozdovi moljci, crveni voćni pauk, lozine grinje šiškarice, cigaraš i filoksera. U preventivne mjere spadaju sve agrotehničke, mehaničke i fizikalne mjere zaštite. U biološke mjere spada upotreba antagonističkih mikroorganizama poput gljiva, bakterija i virusa ili njihovih proizvoda. Osim navedenih mikroorganizama, vrlo su učinkoviti prirodni neprijatelji i prirodni pesticidi. Uspješno ekološko vinogradarenje postiže se otpornošću vinove loze na bolesti i štetnike, tj. otpornim sortama vinove loze i prakticiranjem svih mjera ili pesticida koji nisu sintetički.The grapevine (Vitis vinifera L.) belongs to the genus Vitis and is a species that developed in Europe and Western Asia. The genus Vitis is one of the ten genera of the Vitaceae family. The successful development and cultivation of vines is mostly influenced by environmental conditions such as climate, soil and relief. Since man is an inseparable part of nature, it is necessary to carefully manage natural resources, therefore biological pesticides, organic fertilizers and biostimulators are used in ecological viticulture to maintain soil fertility. The most important pests of vineyards are grapevine phylloxera, grapevine moths, the European red mite, grape erineum mites and vine leaf roller. Preventive measures include all agrotechnical, mechanical and physical protection measures. Biological measures include the use of antagonistic microorganisms such as fungi, bacteria and viruses or their products. In addition to the mentioned microorganisms, natural enemies and natural pesticides are also very effective. Successful ecological viticulture is achieved by the resistance of the vines to diseases and pests, i.e. resistant vine varieties and the practice of all measures or pesticides that are not synthetic

    Mirovinski sustav predstavlja složeni sklop pravnih, financijskih i institucionalnih normi koji reguliraju osiguranje protiv rizika poput starosti, invalidnosti i gubitka hranitelja, pružajući financijsku sigurnost građanima u različitim fazama života. Ovaj sustav obuhvaća nekoliko ključnih podsustava, svaki s vlastitim karakteristikama i funkcijama. Kategorizacija osiguranika uključuje različite skupine kao što su radnici u privatnom sektoru, javni službenici i samozaposleni, pri čemu svaka skupina ima specifične uvjete za ostvarivanje prava na mirovinu. Način financiranja može biti doprinosni model, gdje osiguranici kroz svoje doprinose stvaraju pravo na buduće mirovine, ili može uključivati obvezna državna izdvajanja ili mješovite modele s privatnim elementima. Upravljanje mirovinskim fondovima ključno je za stabilnost sustava i uključuje investicije, vođenje evidencije i osiguranje dostupnosti sredstava za isplatu mirovina, uz nadzor i regulaciju kako bi se spriječile zloupotrebe. Raspodjela mirovina definira način na koji se sredstva distribuiraju korisnicima, uključujući različite vrste mirovina poput starosnih, invalidskih ili obiteljskih i sl.. Mirovinski sustav Republike Hrvatske pruža financijsku zaštitu građanima u starijoj dobi, osobama koje su zbog bolesti ili ozljeda izgubile radnu sposobnost te članovima obitelji preminulih osiguranika. Nakon razdoblja pada broja osiguranika između 2008. i 2014. godine, situacija se poboljšala od 2015. godine uz kontinuirani rast zaposlenosti. Iako je broj korisnika mirovina tijekom dugog razdoblja rastao, od 2017. godine počeo je stagnirati ili opadati, djelomično zbog demografskih promjena i povećanja zakonske dobi za umirovljenje. Starosne mirovine čine najveći udio u ukupnom broju mirovina, što dodatno opterećuje sustav. Sustav se trenutačno suočava s izazovima starenja populacije i promjenama na tržištu rada. Iako je broj osiguranika u porastu zahvaljujući ekonomskom oporavku, sustav je pod velikim pritiskom zbog smanjenja broja novih umirovljenika i potrebe za prilagodbama. Demografske promjene, uključujući sve duži životni vijek i smanjenje broja radno sposobnih osoba, dodatno otežavaju održavanje ravnoteže između prihoda i rashoda sustava. Kako bi se osigurala dugoročna održivost mirovinskog sustava, nužno je stalno praćenje demografskih trendova i provođenje potrebnih reformi. Pravičnost i stabilnost sustava zahtijevaju prilagodbu zakonodavstva i politika kako bi se odgovorilo na demografske i ekonomske izazove te osiguralo da mirovinski sustav ostane održiv i pravedan za sve korisnikeThe pension system represents a complex set of legal, financial, and institutional norms that regulate insurance against risks such as old age, disability, and loss of a breadwinner, providing financial security to citizens at different stages of life. This system encompasses several key subsystems, each with its own characteristics and functions. The categorization of insured individuals includes various groups such as private sector workers, public servants, and the self-employed, with each group having specific conditions for obtaining pension rights. The financing method can be a contributory model, where insured individuals earn the right to future pensions through their contributions, or it may involve mandatory state allocations or mixed models with private elements. The management of pension funds is crucial for the stability of the system and includes investments, record-keeping, and ensuring the availability of funds for pension payments, with oversight and regulation to prevent abuses. Pension distribution defines how funds are allocated to beneficiaries, including different types of pensions such as old-age, disability, or family pensions, etc. The pension system of the Republic of Croatia provides financial protection to citizens in old age, to those who have lost working capacity due to illness or injury, and to family members of deceased insured individuals. After a period of declining insured individuals between 2008 and 2014, the situation improved from 2015 onwards, with continuous employment growth. Although the number of pension beneficiaries has grown over a long period, since 2017 it has begun to stagnate or decline, partly due to demographic changes and the increase in the statutory retirement age. Old-age pensions make up the largest share of the total number of pensions, which further burdens the system. The system is currently facing challenges of an aging population and changes in the labor market. Although the number of insured individuals is increasing thanks to economic recovery, the system is under significant pressure due to a decrease in the number of new retirees and the need for adjustments. Demographic changes, including longer life expectancy and a decrease in the number of working-age individuals, further complicate the maintenance of a balance between the system's income and expenditures. To ensure the long-term sustainability of the pension system, continuous monitoring of demographic trends and the implementation of necessary reforms are essential. The fairness and stability of the system require adjustments in legislation and policies to address demographic and economic challenges and to ensure that the pension system remains sustainable and fair for all beneficiaries

    Društveno odgovorno poslovanje predstavlja koncept poslovanja, odnosno podrazumijeva poslovne prakse koje organizacije primjenjuju kako bi pokazale svoju odgovornost prema društvu, okolišu i ekonomiji te kako bi im istovremno pomogle u očuvanju i razvitku. Ove prakse nadilaze zakonske obveze i usmjerene su na dobrobit svih dionika društveno odgovornog poslovanja. Kao bitan dionik društveno odgovornog poslovanja istaknute su neprofitne organizacije, odnosno udruge gdje je opisana njihova praksa u provođenju društveno odgovornog poslovanja. Društveno odgovorno poslovanje u udrugama odnosi se na prakse i strategije koje udruge primjenjuju kako bi ostvarile pozitivan utjecaj na zajednicu, uz očuvanje svoje misije i ciljeva. Implementacija DOP-a u udrugama može dovesti do brojnih prednosti, uključujući poboljšanje reputacije, veće povjerenje donatora i članova, bolje financijske performanse i pozitivan utjecaj na društvo i okoliš. Cilj ovog rada je prikazati što zapravo predstavlja pojam društveno odgovornog poslovanja općenito, ukratko se upoznati s pojmom udruga i njihovim djelovanjem te kao najbitnije povezati pojam udruga s pojmom društveno odgovornog poslovanja, odnosno pokazati kako udruge vide DOP, što o njemu misle te kako ga provode.Socially responsible business is a concept of business, that is, it implies business practices that organizations apply in order to show their responsibility towards society, the environment and the economy and to simultaneously help them in preservation and development. These practices go beyond legal obligations and are aimed at benefiting all stakeholders in corporate social responsibility. Non-profit organizations, i.e. associations, where their practice in conducting socially responsible business is described, are highlighted as an important stakeholder in socially responsible business. Corporate social responsibility in associations refers to the practices and strategies that associations apply in order to have a positive impact on the community, while preserving their mission and goals. The implementation of Social responsible business in associations can lead to a number of benefits, including improved reputation, greater donor and member confidence, better financial performance and a positive impact on society and the environment. The aim of this paper is to show what the concept of Socially responsible business in general actually represents, to briefly familiarize yourself with the concept of associations and their activities, and as the most important thing to connect the concept of associations with the concept of socially responsible business, that is, to show how associations see csr, what they think about it and how they implement it

    Tržište rada u Europskoj uniji (EU) predstavlja kompleksan sustav koji se sastoji od 27 država članica, svaka sa svojim posebnostima i ekonomskim uvjetima koje pruža. Osnovne karakteristike te izazovi rada u Europskoj uniji se sastoje od: • Raznolikosti i nejednakosti (razlike između država članica u stopama zaposlenosti, plaćama i nezaposlenosti) • Migracija radne snage (radnici iz istočnih zemalja često migriraju u zapadne zemlje za boljim mogućnostima) • Tehnološke promjene i digitalizacija (automatizacija i digitalizacija mijenjaju tržište rada te na taj način stvaraju potrebu za novim vještinama i prekvalifikacijom radne snage) • Političkih i ekonomskih mjera (programi poput Erasmus + pomažu u obrazovanju mladih snaga Europe) • Pandemije COVID – 19 (pandemija je uzrokovala jako značajne poremećaje na tržištu, povećala je nezaposlenost, a ubrzala je tehnologiju i rad na daljinu). Tržište rada u EU suočava se sa mnogim i brojnim izazovima i promjenama, ali također nudi i prilike za inovacije i rast i razvoj.The labor market in the European Union (EU) is a complex system comprising 27 member states, each with it‘s specificites an economic conditions. Key characteristics and challenges oft eh labor marke tin the EU include: • Diversity and Inequalities (differences among member states in employment rates, unemployment rates and wages) • Labor migration (workers from eastern member states often migrate to western countires in search of better opportunities) • Technological changes and digitalization (automation and digitalization are transforming the labor market, creating a need for new skills and retraining of the work office) • Political and economic measures (programs like Erasmus + support education and mobility of young workers) • COVID – 19 Pandemic (the pandemic caused significant disruptions in the labor market, increasing unemployment, while accelerating digitalization and remote work).     U ovom radu istraženo je korporativno upravljanje na primjeru Zagrebačke banke. Korporativno upravljanje predstavlja sustav pravila, postupaka i praksi koji upravljaju odnosima između uprave, nadzornog odbora, dioničara i drugih zainteresiranih strana. Zagrebačka banka, kao jedna od vodećih financijskih institucija u Hrvatskoj, predstavlja zanimljiv primjer za analizu korporativnog upravljanja. Rad se fokusira na strukturu upravljanja, ulogu nadzornog odbora, odgovornost uprave i mehanizme zaštite interesa dioničara. Također, istražuje se utjecaj korporativnog upravljanja na poslovne rezultate i reputaciju banke. Rezultati pokazuju da dobro postavljeni sustavi korporativnog upravljanja mogu značajno doprinijeti stabilnosti i uspjehu financijskih institucija.This paper explores corporate governance using the example of Zagrebačka banka. Corporate governance encompasses the system of rules, procedures, and practices that govern the relationships between management, the supervisory board, shareholders, and other stakeholders. Zagrebačka banka, as one of the leading financial institutions in Croatia, serves as an interesting case study for analyzing corporate governance. The paper focuses on the management structure, the role of the supervisory board, the accountability of management, and the mechanisms for protecting shareholder interests. Additionally, it examines the impact of corporate governance on business results and the bank's reputation. The findings indicate that well-established corporate governance systems can significantly contribute to the stability and success of financial institutions

    The connection between athletic performance and marketing initiatives in sports

    Ovaj završni rad istražuje utjecaj sportskih performansi na marketinške strategije sportskih organizacija. Kroz analizu dostupnih podataka i studija slučaja, rad otkriva kako sportski uspjesi, poput osvajanja medalja i visokih rangova, mogu značajno povećati marketinšku vrijednost sportaša i sportskih timova. Uspješni sportaši privlače veliku pažnju medija, što rezultira povećanom vidljivošću i većom atraktivnošću za sponzore. Ova povezanost između sportskih postignuća i marketinških prilika omogućava sportskim organizacijama optimizaciju njihovih marketinških strategija i povećanje prihoda. Rad također razmatra kako sportska postignuća doprinose izgradnji snažnog brenda i dugoročnoj održivosti sportskih organizacija. Preporuke za buduće marketinške pristupe uključuju jaču integraciju uspjeha na terenu s marketinškim aktivnostima, kao i strategije za maksimiziranje komercijalnih koristi koje proizlaze iz sportskih uspjeha. Ovaj rad pruža sveobuhvatan uvid u povezanost između sportskih performansi i marketinških strategija, nudeći smjernice za sportsku industriju s ciljem boljeg iskorištavanja sportskih uspjeha za stvaranje dodatne vrijednosti i poticanje poslovnog rastaThis thesis explores the impact of sports performances on the marketing strategies of sports organizations. Through the analysis of available data and case studies, it reveals how sports successes, such as winning medals and achieving high rankings, can significantly enhance the marketing value of athletes and sports teams. Successful athletes attract significant media attention, leading to increased visibility and greater appeal to sponsors. This connection between sports achievements and marketing opportunities allows sports organizations to optimize their marketing strategies and increase revenue. The thesis also examines how sports achievements contribute to the development of a strong brand and the long-term sustainability of sports organizations. Recommendations for future marketing approaches include a stronger integration of on-field success with marketing activities, as well as strategies to maximize the commercial benefits derived from sports achievements. This thesis provides a comprehensive insight into the relationship between sports performance and marketing strategies, offering guidance to the sports industry on how to better leverage its successes to create additional value and drive business growth

    Volatile compounds of plavac mali wine

    Plavac mali je najznačajnija autohtona sorta u Dalmaciji i treća sorta po rasprostranjenosti u Hrvatskoj, nakon graševine i malvazije. Cilj ovog rada bio je usporediti aromatični profil vina sorte Plavac mali iz vinogorja Komarna (uzorak PMK) i Pelješac (Dingač) (uzorak PMD). Hlapljivi spojevi izolirani su pomoću mikroekstrakcije vršnih para na krutoj fazi (HS-SPME) i analizirani vezanim sustavom plinska kromatografija-masena spektrometrija (GC-MS). U uzorku PMK utvrđen je veći udjel estera i C13-norizoprenoida, a uzorak PMD imao je veći udjel alkohola, furfurala i linalola. U oba uzorka najzastupljeniji spojevi su izoamilni alkohol i etil-oktanoat. Dobiveni rezultati pokazuju da specifični uvjeti uzgoja vinove loze u vinogorjima Komarna i Pelješac (Dingač) oblikuju aromu vina Plavac mali i doprinose njegovim jedinstvenim karakteristikama.Plavac mali is the most significant autochthonous grape variety in Dalmatia and the third most widespread variety grown in Croatia, after Graševina and Malvazija. This study aimed to compare the aromatic profile of Plavac mali wine from the Komarna (sample PMK) and Pelješac (Dingač) (sample PMD) appellations. Volatile compounds were isolated by headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) and analysed using gas chromatographymass spectrometry (GC-MS). The sample PMK had a higher proportion of esters and C13- norisoprenoids, while the sample PMD showed a higher proportion of alcohols, furfural and linalool. Isoamyl alcohol and ethyl octanoate were the most abundant compounds in both samples. The results obtained in this study indicate that the specific growing conditions of grapevine in the Komarna and Pelješac (Dingač) appellations shape the aroma of Plavac mali wine and contribute to its unique characteristics

    Kopriva (Urtica dioica) je biljka poznata po svojim ljekovitim svojstvima. Bogata je vitaminima (A, C, K, B), mineralima (željezo, kalcij, magnezij) i antioksidansima. Njene ljekovite primjene uključuju poticanje cirkulacije, smanjenje upalnih procesa, ublažavanje simptoma artritisa i alergija te poboljšanje zdravlja mokraćnog sustava. Čaj od koprive može pomoći u detoksikaciji organizma i jačanju imunološkog sustava. Također, kopriva se koristi za poticanje rasta kose i zdravlje kože. Ipak, važno je koristiti je umjereno i konzultirati se s liječnikom, posebno ako se uzimaju lijekovi ili postoje zdravstveni problemi. Sirup od koprive proizvodi se od mladih listova koprive koji su bogati vitaminima, mineralima i antioksidansima. Tradicionalno se koristi za jačanje imuniteta, čišćenje krvi i detoksikaciju organizma, a priprema se kuhanjem listova i dodavanjem šećera ili meda. Također se koristi i kao prirodni zaslađivač te dodatak jelima.Nettle (Urtica dioica) is a plant known for its medicinal properties. Its medicinal uses include promoting circulation, reducing inflammation, alleviating symptoms of arthritis and allergies, and improving urinary system health. Nettle tea can aid in detoxifying the body and strengthening the immune system. Additionally, nettle is used to promote hair growth and improve skin health. However, it is important to use it in moderation and consult a healthcare provider, especially if taking medications or if there are existing health issues. Nettle syrup is made from young nettle leaves, which are rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Traditionally, it is used to boost the immune system, purify the blood, and detoxify the body, and it is prepared by boiling the leaves and adding sugar or honey. It is also used as a natural sweetener and a food additive
