Criminal offenses of robbery in Bosnia and Herzegovina in the West Herzegovina County from 2005-2020
saznanja o počinitelju, oštećenim osobama i neposrednim žrtvama napada, visini materijalne štete

kaznenih djela.Aim: The aim of this thesis is to give an overview of the structure and analyse the criminal offenses
of robbery committed in the West Herzegovina (BiH) County in the period from 1.1.2005 to
31.12.2020 and to indicate the characteristics of the offenses committed and their perpetrators.
Methods: As material for this research, cases from ninety-five criminal offenses of robbery were
used, as many as were committed in the area of jurisdiction of the Ministry of the Interior in the
observed period. The data were collected in such a way that the total number of criminal offenses
committed in the specified time period as well as the number of committed criminal offenses of
robbery in the requested period was determined by inspecting the criminal registers of
organizational units within the MUP ZZH, which are kept for each calendar year. All
documentation in them was inspected in order to collect detailed data on robberies, and information
about the perpetrator, injured persons and immediate victims of the attack, the amount of material
damage as well as data on evidence actions taken, traces found and expertise conducted. The
method of descriptive statistics was used for analysis of collected data, as well as the analysis and
comparative analysis of the content of statistical data obtained from police records.
Results: Robberies in total crime account for less than 5%, and the highest recorded share of
robberies in total crime during one year was in 2015. and amounted to 3.54%. Most of these crimes
are committed indoors during the winter months, and indoor robberies are most often committed
in public places such as shops, banks, exchange offices, gas stations, restaurants and similar
objects, while the most common object of attack was a natural person. The most commonly used
means of committing criminal offenses of robbery in the West Herzegovina County is firearms,
which were used in 61% of committed criminal offenses. The largest number of robberies occurs
in the evening, in the period from 20.00 to 24.00, when as many as 41.0% of these crimes were
committed. The most common item stolen during the commission of these crimes is money, and
in most cases the immediate victims of the attack pass without bodily injury.

Conclusion: This research can provide important information in the context of detecting,
investigating and proving robbery crimes and can be used to help in future planning and
implementation of preventive measures to reduce the number of crimes committed
Application of 3D technologies in footwear trace evidence collection and identification
Ciljevi: Dokazati prednosti i nedostatke klasičnih i modernih načina izuzimanja tragova
utiska.
Rezultati: Virtualni modeli utiska dobiveni modernim metodama izuzimanja,
fotogrametrijom i 3D skeniranjem, sadrže više vidljivih individualnih karakteristika za
razliku od modela dobivenog standardnom metodom, mulažiranjem. Kvaliteta konačnih
modela dobivenih modernim metodama uvelike ovisi o kvaliteti korištene opreme.
Aims: To test the advantages and disadvantages of classical and modern approaches of
collecting sole imprint trace evidence.
Materials and methods: The methods used in this research were: sole imprint casting, as a
classical method; and photogrammetry and 3D scanning as modern collection methods. The
material used in the classical method was gypsum; while for the modern collection methods
photographs and 3D scans were used to obtain a virtual impression model. Obtained 3D
models were printed on a 3D printer using a flexible filament to obtain the final model.
Results: Virtual sole impression models obtained by modern collection methods -
photogrammetry and 3D scanning contained more visible individual characteristics in
contrast to the model obtained by standard method, sole imprint casting. The quality of the
final models obtained by modern methods largely depends on the quality of the equipment
used.
Conclusion: Classical collection methods are cheaper, faster and simpler than the modern
ones. Modern collection methods are less destructive than classical methods and allow the
possibility to re-examine the evidence and to apply additional analyses of trace evidence. A
more sophisticated and professional camera, 3D scanner and 3D printer, will give better
results than the low-budget ones used in this research, although progress was already visible
in contrast to the standard method. We recommended that, in addition to the classic
impression collection, one of the modern methods should be used to enable additional trace
analyses
Modern road traffic infrastructures
pružaju usluge i robu. U prometu se podudaraju proizvodnja i potrošnja jer se pružena
usluga mora potrošiti upravo onog trena kada se i proizvodi, odnosno pruža. Gospodarski i
udobnost i slično. Cestovni prometni podsustav u obliku sastavnog dijela sustava prometne
samog postojanja potencijalnih potreba u prometnom sustavu kao i raspoloživih kapaciteta
i resursa s ciljem zadovoljenja tih potreba. Osnovna metoda korištena u izradi ovog rada
Prvo
poglavlje je uvodno poglavlje. Drugo poglavlje obuhvaća cestovni promet i gospodarstvo.
Treće poglavlje prikazuje infrastrukturu cestovnog prometa. Četvrto poglavlje govori o
novim tehnologijama i infrastrukturi. Peto poglavlje je zaključno poglavlje. Nakon čega se
nalazi literatura i ostali prilozi.Transport is a key sector in the economy and for the economy itself because it includes a
complex network of companies (private and public) that provide services and goods to
citizens and businesses. In traffic, production and consumption coincide because the
service provided must be consumed at the very moment when it is produced or provided.
Economic and social development in modern times is increasingly important due to the
development of the service sector characterized by slower growth in road transport demand
and higher demands for quality that road transport can provide, which includes speed,
regularity, safety, comfort and the like. The road transport subsystem in the form of an
integral part of the transport infrastructure system has an impact on settlement
development, distribution and migration, locating economic capacities, quality of life, use
of natural resources, availability of space, environmental protection, integrity of state
territory, development of less developed areas. travel capacity. The goal of the
development of modern transport is based on the assumption of the very existence of
potential needs in the transport system as well as available capacities and resources in
order to meet these needs. The basic method used in the preparation of this paper was the
analysis of the content of collected scientific and professional literature, by studying the
Law and regulations for the field of labor analysis. For the preparation of this Final Thesis,
searches and collections, ie merging the collected materials into one quality unit, were
selected as appropriate methods. The methods of synthesis, induction, deduction and
logical interpretation were used in the research. The paper is structured in five complete
chapters. The first chapter is the introductory chapter. The second chapter covers road
transport and the economy. The third chapter shows the road transport infrastructure. The
fourth chapter talks about new technologies and infrastructure. The fifth chapter is the
concluding chapter. After which there is literature and other contributions
Development of fingermarks using small particle reagent on glass immersed in seawater
(16 muškaraca i 16 žena).
Aim: To examine the possibility of applying small particle reagent (SPR) on glass immersed in
seawater and assess the quality of the developed fingermarks considering the immersion time.
Method: A study comprised fingermarks of the right thumb collected from 32 adult persons
(16 men and 16 women). A total of 192 samples, i.e., six fingermarks from each participant,
were left on microscope slides and immersed in plastic containers with seawater. Thirty-two
samples were removed from the water after 1, 1, 2, 7, 14, 21, and 28 days and treated with SPR.
We assessed the quality of fingermark development using scores 0 – 4, where scores 3 and 4
indicated those suitable for identification.
Results: One day after immersion, 75% of the samples were adequate for identification. Two
days after immersion, 81.3% samples received a passing grade, while the proportion of
identifiable fingermarks dropped to 34% after seven days. After 28 days of immersion, 25% of
developed fingermarks were adequate for identification. The demographic profile of the donor
did not affect the quality of developed fingermarks (P = 0.775).
Conclusion: The quality of developed fingermarks has dropped by increasing the immersion
time. The highest proportion of developed fingermarks that are adequate for identification was
obtained on the first and second days after immersion. In some samples, identifiable
fingermarks could be developed up to 28 after the immersion
Information security and data protection in police proceedings
s nacionalnim i međunarodnim pravnim propisima. Ovisno o zakonskom okviru razlikujemo
univerzalnu, regionalnu i bilateralnu međunarodnu policijsku suradnju. Policija Republike
Hrvatske međunarodnoj policijskoj suradnji pristupa kroz sve oblike međunarodne policijske
suradnje i koristi INTERPOL kanal za razmjenu informacija, a putem kanala EUROPOL-a i
Schengenskog informacijskog sustava (SIS) kao članica Europske unije. S.I.R. Svrha ovog rada je
objasniti aktivnosti istrage, odnosno pokazati sličnosti, razlike, prednosti i nedostatke djelovanja
policijske suradnje kroz postojeće i korišteni instrumenti potražnje. policijsku suradnju. Uz mnoge
sličnosti i razlike, aktivnost pretraživanja i zapljena putem INTERPOL-ovog kanala i
The most efficient is the exchange of information and information related to the

Global threats and risk management with special review on ship safety in foreign ports
Global threats and risk management with special review on ship safety in foreign ports
The topic of the thesis is Global Threats and Risk Management with special review on ship safety in foreign ports. The work is conceived through four units.
In the first part with global threats previously introduced with the concept of globalization and global security. Then, in the second unit, the topic of risk management is divided into strategic risk, operational risk and security risk. Ship safety in foreign ports is the third unit in which the port system is briefly described from the introduction with the concept of ship, seaport, order and security in ports. Port and ship security protections as well as level of security protection according to valid regulations and laws are listed. In the last units, there is a review of maritime transport and how threats in it can affect national security
Protection of data secrecy - regulatory framework and procedures in the conduct of police officers
Ključne riječi:Information security is a process that indicates that new information system protection systems are constantly being developed. The reason for this is the continuous development of new tools that can threaten the security of the information system, such as "malicious" software (viruses), which when breaking into the information system can cause great damage, such as data theft, which can also lead to the theft of funds from bank accounts. New ways of business espionage are also being developed, which does not have to be computer-based only. Through this paper, the concept of information security is presented, through the processing of a topic related to the concepts of personal data security protection in police procedures
The application of discretionary accruals as a measure of earnings management in the Republic of Croatia
The accounting scandals that had occurred at the beginning of the 21st century have emphasized the importance of access to unbiased financial information. Those initial occurrences were only a prelude to the global wave of creative accounting cases involving large multinational companies which had not passed the Republic of Croatia either. There is a wide variety of motivational factors which provide companies with an impetus to manage earnings, as well as different types of earnings management measures, whose main features are presented in the theoretical part of this paper. The earnings management construct was measured using aggregate discretionary accrual measures. The main objective of the paper was to give an insight into the level of manipulation in accounting records of corporations listed at the capital market in the Republic of Croatia and to compare values of different accrual measures estimated for the period from 2017 to 2019. Also, the signs of discretionary accrual values were examined to determine if companies have the tendency of overestimating or underestimating their financial performance. The sample of companies was collected from publicly available financial information on the financial position, financial performance and cash flows disclosed by companies listed on the official website of the Zagreb Stock Exchange
Population affinity estimation: frequency of the metopic sature on the Eastern Adriatic Coast population
CILJ: Istražiti učestalost metopičnoga šava na srednjovjekovnoj populaciji istočne obale Jadrana. METODE: U istraživanje su uključeni prethodno analizirani koštani ostaci iz antropološke zbirke Laboratorija za forenzičnu i biološku antropologiju, i to odrasle osobe, poznatoga spola i dobi, s očuvanom frontalnom kosti. Bilježeno je postojanje metopičnoga šava i to njegove podvrste: potpun, nepotpun, donji U, donji V, zrakasti, obrnuti Y, side to side i linearni. REZULTATI: Ukupno je analizirano 120 lubanja s očuvanom frontalnom kosti. Pronađeno je potpunih 5 (4,16 %) i nepotpunih metopičnih šavova 77 (64,16 %), te podvrste nepotpunog metopičnog šava: donji U 4 (3,33 %), donji V 2 (1,66 %), zrakasti 3 (2,5 %), obrnuti Y 1 (0,83 %), side to side 63 (52,5 %) i linearni 4 (3,33 %). U istraživanju nisu pronađeni: gornji, srednji, donji, donji H, donji Y, obrnuti U i dvostruki metopični šav. ZAKLJUČAK: U populaciji koja je obuhvaćala devet srednjovjekovnih lokaliteta sa područja istočne obale Jadrana nije uočena spolna razlika u učestalosti metopizma, niti je pronađena razlika u učestalosti metopizma među razdobljima srednjega vijeka i novovjekovlja.OBJECTIVE: To investigate frequency of the metopic suture on the eastern Adriatic coast population.
METHODS: We examined previously analyzed skeletal remains from the anthropological collection of the Laboratory for Forensic and Biological Anthropology, those of adults of known sex and age, with a preserved frontal bone. The existence of the metopic suture and its subtypes were recorded: complete, incomplete, lower U, lower V, radial, inverted Y, side to side and linear.
RESULTS: A total of 120 skulls with preserved frontal bone were analyzed. Five complete metopic sutures (4.16%) and 77 incomplete metopic sutures (64.16%) were found, and subtypes of incomplete metopic sutures as follows: lower U 4 (3.33%), lower V 2 (1.66%), radial 3 (2.5%), inverted Y 1 (0.83%), side to side 63 (52.5%) and linear type 4 (3.33%). We did not found: upper, middle, lower, lower H, lower Y, inverted U and double metopic suture.
CONCLUSION: In observed population that included nine medieval excavation sites from eastern Adriatic coast, there was no sex or temporal difference in the frequency of metopism
Iako u Hrvatskoj postoje različiti zakoni i
institucije za suzbijanje korupcije, vrlo ozbiljan problem predstavlja niska razina provedbe
zakona.
nadograđivanja sustava antikorupcijskih mjera u Republici Hrvatskoj. Uz kontinuiranu
provedbu i nadogradnju postojećih antikorupcijskih mehanizama, potrebno je jačati postojeća i
Corruption is the exploitation of a public good for personal gain in order to acquire illegal
private property, and it can be classified according to various social and institutional factors.
There are a number of harmful consequences of corruption that can affect society as a whole,
and economic activities in particular. Although there are various anti-corruption laws and
institutions in Croatia, the low level of law enforcement is a very serious problem. According
to the measurements of the perception of corruption in Croatia in the past 20 years, Croatia is
at the back of the EU countries, and no trends of improvement have been shown. Reducing
corruption would increase Croatia's GDP and reduce inflation, which would help maintain price
stability. Corruption in Croatia has a number of other negative consequences related to the
squandering of funds, the destruction of political culture and the damage it inflicts on the social
morale of Croatian citizens. The Strategy for the Prevention of Corruption for the period from
2021 to 2030 was developed as a continuation of the continuous strategic implementation and
upgrading of the system of anti-corruption measures in the Republic of Croatia. In addition to
the continuous implementation and upgrading of existing anti-corruption mechanisms, it is
necessary to strengthen existing and create new systematic solutions to prevent corruption at all
levels
