    INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS ON THE EXAMPLE OF THE BRAND STARTAS

    Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se pojmom Integrirane marketinške komunikacije. U teorijskom dijelu rada definirana je integrirana marketinška komunikacija, komunikacijski proces, komunikacijski miks, te su prikazani dijelovi komunikacijskog plana. U praktičnom dijelu rada analizirana je integrirana marketinška komunikacija tvrtke Borovo, na primjeru kampanje za brend Startas. Zaključak provedene analize ukazao je na to da tvrtka ima dobro postavljene oglašivačke apele, kao i kvalitetan i prepoznatljiv brend, no ciljevi integrirane marketinške komunikacije trebali bi biti preciznije postavljeni, te bi brend trebao imati ozbiljniji pristup u korištenju alata digitalnog marketinga kao i svih ostalih mogućnosti koje pružaju suvremeni digitalni mediji, posebice društvene mreže. Navedeno bi rezultiralo neposrednijom, kvalitetnijom i učinkovitijom komunikacijom s ciljnim kupcima.The paper analyzes the integrated marketing communications of the company Borovo, using the example of the campaign for the brand Startas. The brand itself is analyzed, as well as advertising appeals, advertising channels, client analysis is carried out (the assortment, the way of differentiation from the competition, mission, vision and values, problems that the campaign solves, the brand's position on the market and the brand's image in the public) and the context in which the brand develops (characteristics and trends in the industry and the influence of external factors on business) is also analyzed. An analysis of the selected competitor, the brand MASS SHOES, is also carried out. An analysis of target customers, purchase decisions, functional and hedonic benefits and motives for use was also performed. Based on the analysis, a new campaign was presented for the client with clearly described marketing and communication goals, and a plan of marketing activities was created. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the following media: social networks, fashion portals, magazines and radio. The conclusion of the analysis is that the company has well-placed advertising appeals, as well as a high-quality and recognizable brand, but the goals of integrated marketing communication should be set in more detail, and the brand should have a more serious approach in using digital marketing tools and all the opportunities provided by new media, especially social network, with the aim of achieving more direct, high-quality and efficient communication with its customers, but also to more easily gain insight into the characteristics of its target groups and market trends in general

    Ovaj rad prikazuje prihode koje ostvaruje općina Podstrana. U radu je stavljen fokus na prihode poslovanja koje je općina Podstrana ostvarila i koji su detaljno pojašnjeni i analizirani tijekom samog rada. U prvom dijelu rada napravljen je kratki osvrt o samoj općini Podstrana te su istaknute bitne informacije koje se vežu za samu općinu. Nakon toga definiran je sam pojam prihod poslovanja i njihova podjela. U nastavku rada detaljnije se analizira sama podjela prihoda poslovanja kroz analizu svakog pojedinačnog prihoda, uz prikaz konkretnih primjera čime se prikazuje i način izračuna samog prihoda. Analiza svakog pojedinačnog prihoda obuhvaćena je i tabličnim prikazom koji prikazuje prihode koje je ostvarila općina Podstrana tijekom godina. Za svaki tablični prikaz navedena je i detaljna interpretacija podataka koji su prikazani.This paper presents the revenues generated by the Podstrana municipality. The paper focuses on the business revenues generated by the Podstrana municipality, which are explained and analyzed in detail throughout the paper. The first part of the paper provides a brief overview of the Podstrana municipality itself, highlighting important information related to the municipality itself. After that, the term business revenues and their division are defined. The rest of the paper analyzes the division of business revenues in more detail through the analysis of each individual revenue, with specific examples, which also show how the revenue is calculated. The analysis of each individual revenue is also included in a table that shows the revenues generated by the Podstrana municipality over the years. For each table, a detailed interpretation of the data presented is also provided

    Sezonalnost turizma jedan je od glavnih izazova s kojim se suočava Dubrovačko-neretvanska županija, regija s bogatom kulturnom baštinom i prirodnim atrakcijama. Iako turizam značajno doprinosi gospodarstvu, njegova koncentracija u ljetnim mjesecima dovodi do neravnomjerne iskorištenosti resursa, ekoloških i infrastrukturnih problema te nestabilnosti tržišta rada. Destinacijske menadžment kompanije (DMK) igraju ključnu ulogu u razvoju konkurentne i održive turističke ponude. Kroz integrirano upravljanje destinacijom, kreiranje novih turističkih proizvoda, one mogu smanjiti sezonalnost i potaknuti razvoj cjelogodišnjeg turizma. Rad analizira osnovne funkcije i poslovne modele destinacijske menadžment kompanije, njihov doprinos razvoju destinaciji te utjecaj na povećanje konkurentnosti regije. Također, istražuje stanje turizma u Dubrovačko-neretvanskoj županiji, glavne uzroke sezonalnosti te strategije koje se mogu primijeniti kako bi se povećala atraktivnost destinacije tijekom cijele godine. Jedan od ključnih zaključaka rada je da destinacijske menadžment kompanije mogu značajno doprinijeti smanjenju sezonalnosti kroz diverzifikaciju ponude, promociju alternativnih oblika turizma i jačanje suradnje između turističkih subjekata. Implementacijom strategija poput boljeg prometnog povezivanja, organizacije događanja izvan ljetne sezone i digitalizacije turističke ponude, Dubrovačko-neretvanska županija može postati prepoznatljiva kao cjelogodišnja destinacija. Ovaj rad pruža uvid u potencijal destinacijskih menadžment kompanija u oblikovanju održivog turizma s preporukama za daljnji razvoj turističke ponude u cilju smanjenja sezonalnosti i povećanja konkurentnosti regije na globalnom tržištu.Seasonality in tourism is one of the main challenges faced by the Dubrovnik-Neretva County, a region rich in cultural heritage and natural attractions. Although tourism significantly contributes to the economy, its concentration during the summer months leads to uneven resource utilization, environmental and infrastructural problems, and labor market instability. Destination management companies (DMCs) play a key role in developing a competitive and sustainable tourism offering. Through integrated destination management and the creation of new tourism products, they can reduce seasonality and encourage the development of yearround tourism. This paper analyzes the basic functions and business models of DMCs, their contribution to destination development, and their impact on increasing the region's competitiveness. It also explores the state of tourism in Dubrovnik-Neretva County, the main causes of seasonality, and strategies that can be implemented to enhance the attractiveness of the destination throughout the year. One of the key conclusions of the paper is that destination management companies can significantly contribute to reducing seasonality through the diversification of offerings, promotion of alternative forms of tourism, and strengthening collaboration among tourism stakeholders. By implementing strategies such as improved transportation connections, organizing events outside the summer season, and digitalizing the tourism offer, Dubrovnik-Neretva County can become recognized as a year-round destination. This paper provides insight into the potential of destination management companies in shaping sustainable tourism and offers recommendations for further development of the tourism offering to reduce seasonality and increase the region's competitiveness in the global market

    U ovom diplomskom radu razvijena je web aplikacija za analitiku korisničkih računa na društvenim mrežama s ciljem pružanja uvida u metrike aktivnosti na Instagramu i Facebooku. Problem nedostatka sveobuhvatnog, dostupnog alata za analizu sadržaja i publike na obje platforme riješen je izradom prilagođenog rješenja koje koristi moderne tehnologije kao što su JavaScript biblioteka React i razvojno okruženje Node.js. Aplikacija omogućuje prikaz ključnih metrika, uključujući doseg, angažman i demografske podatke pratitelja, putem interaktivnog sučelja. Cilj rada bio je razviti funkcionalan i korisnički prilagođen sustav koji pomaže korisnicima u donošenju informiranih odluka temeljenih na analizi podataka.This thesis presents the development of a web application for social media account analytics, aimed at providing insights into activity metrics on Instagram and Facebook. The issue of the lack of a comprehensive and accessible tool for content and audience analysis across both platforms was addressed by creating a custom solution using modern technologies such as the JavaScript library React and the runtime environment Node.js. The application enables the display of key metrics, including reach, engagement, and follower demographic data, through an interactive interface. The goal of the thesis was to develop a functional and user-friendly system that helps users make informed decisions based on data analysis

    U ovom završnom radu razvijen je automatizirani sustav upravljanja plastenikom temeljen na Arduino platformi. Sustav sadrži razne senzore i uređaje kako bi optimizirao uvjete za rast biljaka. Korišteni senzori uključuju DHT11 za mjerenje temperature i vlage zraka, senzor vlage tla, senzor kiše te LDR za mjerenje količine svjetlosti. Uređaji uključuju ventilatore, koračni motor za otvaranje/zatvaranje prozora i vodenu pumpu za navodnjavanje. Sustav se oslanja na releje za kontrolu električnih uređaja i koristi OLED zaslon za prikaz ključnih podataka. Programska logika implementirana je u Arduino IDE-u, koristeći jezik C++.In this final paper, an automated greenhouse management system based on the Arduino platform was developed. The system includes various sensors and devices to optimize conditions for plant growth. The sensors used are the DHT11 for measuring air temperature and humidity, a soil moisture sensor, a rain sensor, and an LDR for measuring light intensity. The devices include fans, a stepper motor for opening/closing windows, and a water pump for irrigation. The system relies on relays to control electrical devices and uses an OLED display to show key data. The programming logic was implemented in Arduino IDE using the C++ language

    Ovaj rad analizira financijske izazove s kojima se suočavaju sportaši, s posebnim naglaskom na važnost osobnog financijskog planiranja. Sportaši, bez obzira na to jesu li amateri ili profesionalci, suočavaju se s financijskim rizicima zbog kratkotrajnosti karijere i nestabilnosti prihoda. Glavni problemi uključuju nedostatak financijske edukacije, neadekvatno planiranje za budućnost te loše investicije. Kao moguća rješenja ističu se edukacija, rano planiranje i angažiranje financijskih savjetnika. Rad također pruža uvid u načine oporezivanja sportaša i rezultate ankete o njihovim financijskim navikama i pristupu financijskom planiranju.This paper analyzes the financial challenges faced by athletes, with a particular focus on the importance of personal financial planning. Athletes, regardless of whether they are amateurs or professionals, are exposed to financial risks due to the short duration of their careers and the instability of income. The main problems include a lack of financial education, inadequate future planning, and poor investments. Possible solutions include education, early planning, and hiring financial advisors. The paper also provides insights into the taxation of athletes and the results of a survey on their financial habits and approaches to financial planning

    Mjerenje performansi zaposlenih ključno je za uspješno upravljanje ljudskim resursima i postizanje organizacijskih ciljeva. Ono pomaže organizacijama da prate učinkovitost, motiviraju zaposlenike i identificiraju mogućnosti za poboljšanje. Upravljanje performansama odnosi se na proces koji obuhvaća postavljanje ciljeva, praćenje napretka i ocjenjivanje učinka zaposlenika. Kroz jasne pokazatelje performansi organizacije postavljaju standarde koje zaposlenici trebaju postići, čime se osigurava dosljednost u radnim zadacima. Glavni ciljevi praćenja performansi uključuju poboljšanje individualne produktivnosti, povećanje organizacijske efikasnosti i postizanje veće transparentnosti u radu. Praćenje performansi također motivira zaposlenike jer im pruža jasan uvid u njihov učinak te omogućava da dobiju povratne informacije o svom napretku. Važnost praćenja performansi leži u tome što omogućava prepoznavanje ključnih radnika i njihovih vještina, ali i prepoznavanje slabosti koje treba ispraviti. Također pomaže menadžerima u donošenju odluka o promocijama, edukaciji ili raspodjeli zadataka, čime se poboljšava cjelokupno funkcioniranje tima i organizacije. Sam proces ocjenjivanja uključuje definiranje očekivanja, praćenje napretka, davanje povratnih informacija te odlučivanje o daljnjem razvoju zaposlenika. Ovaj proces mora biti temeljit i objektivan kako bi se izbjegle greške i pristranosti. Međutim, unatoč dobro strukturiranom procesu, često dolazi do problema pri ocjenjivanju, kao što su pristranost ocjenjivača ili pretjerano oslanjanje na kratkoročne rezultate. To može negativno utjecati na točnost procjene te demotivirati zaposlenike. Važnu ulogu u tom procesu imaju procjenitelji performansi, koji mogu biti menadžeri, kolege ili čak zaposlenici sami kroz samoprocjenu. Svaki procjenitelj donosi različitu perspektivu i doprinosi cjelovitosti procjene. Metode mjerenja performansi uključuju uspoređivanje učinka zaposlenika, korištenje ljestvica procjene, kao i primjenu metoda poput 360-stupanjskog povratnog informiranja i check-lista. Na primjeru poduzeća Kingtrade d.o.o., analizirati će se sustav za praćenje performansi zaposlenika.Measuring employee performance is crucial for successful human resource management and achieving organizational goals. It helps organizations track efficiency, motivate employees, and identify opportunities for improvement. Performance management refers to a process that includes setting goals, monitoring progress, and evaluating employee performance. Through clear performance indicators, organizations establish standards that employees need to meet, ensuring consistency in tasks. The main goals of performance monitoring include improving individual productivity, increasing organizational efficiency, and achieving greater transparency in work. Monitoring performance also motivates employees by providing a clear insight into their performance and allowing them to receive feedback on their progress. The importance of performance tracking lies in recognizing key workers and their skills, as well as identifying weaknesses that need correction. It also helps managers in making decisions about promotions, training, or task allocation, thereby improving the overall functioning of the team and the organization. The evaluation process includes defining expectations, tracking progress, providing feedback, and deciding on the further development of employees. This process must be thorough and objective to avoid mistakes and biases. However, despite a well-structured process, problems often arise during evaluation, such as evaluator bias or excessive reliance on short-term results. This can negatively affect the accuracy of the assessment and demotivate employees. Evaluators play an important role in this process, which can include managers, colleagues, or even employees themselves through self-assessment. Each evaluator brings a different perspective, contributing to the completeness of the evaluation. Performance measurement methods include comparing employee performance, using rating scales, and applying methods such as 360-degree feedback and checklists.     Stabilnost financijskog sustava ključna je za uspješno funkcioniranje svake države. To potvrđuju brojne bankovne krize koje su u prošlosti potresle globalnu ekonomiju, poput Velike depresije 1929. godine koja je pogodila SAD, ili novijih kriza poput one iz 1998. godine i globalne financijske krize 2008. godine. Globalne bankovne krize pokazale su da, bez odgovarajućih zaštitnih mehanizama, destabilizacija pojedinih banaka može imati lančani efekt na cijeli financijski sustav, izazivajući recesiju, visoku nezaposlenost i pad životnog standarda. Posljedice su bile tako duboke da su potaknule vlade i regulatorna tijela da prepoznaju važnost osmišljavanja i provedbe modela koji će zaštititi deponente a samim time i cijeli financijski sustav. Cilj ovog rada je obrazložiti razvoj sustava osiguranja depozita te njegovo djelovanje s posebnim osvrtom na sustav u Republici Hrvatskoj.Stability of financial system is the key for successful running of any country. This is confirmed by numerous banking crises that shook the global economy in the past, such as the Great Depression in 1929 that hit the USA, or more recent crises such as the one in 1998 and the global financial crisis in 2008. Global banking crises have shown that, without adequate protection mechanisms, the destabilization of individual banks can have a chain effect on the entire financial system, causing recession, high unemployment and a decline in living standards. The consequences were so profound that they prompted governments and regulatory bodies to recognize the importance of designing and implementing a model that will protect depositors and thus the entire financial system. The aim of this paper is to explain the development of the deposit insurance system and its operation with special reference to the system in the Republic of Croatia

    Kataloniju karakterizira iznimna kulturna i prirodna baština koja predstavlja snažan turistički potencijal. Barcelona, kao glavni grad svjetski je poznata po svojoj jedinstvenoj arhitekturi, povijesnim znamenitostima i dinamičnom urbanom životu, dok Girona, Tarragona i Lleida doprinose raznolikosti ponude svojim kulturnim naslijeđem, mediteranskim krajolikom i prirodnim ljepotama. Iako Katalonija bilježi stalni rast turističkih dolazaka, određeni izazovi poput neravnomjerne raspodjele turističkih aktivnosti tijekom godine, prenapučenosti popularnih destinacija i potrebe za održivim upravljanjem resursima, mogu usporavati daljnji razvoj sektora. Analiza povezanosti turizma i gospodarskog rasta pokazuje da turizam ima značajan utjecaj na ekonomiju regije, posebice u sektorima ugostiteljstva, prijevoza i uslužnih djelatnosti. Međutim, za dugoročnu održivost potrebno je prilagoditi strategije razvoja turizma kako bi se osigurao balans između ekonomskog rasta i očuvanja kulturne i prirodne baštine.Catalonia is characterized by its rich cultural and natural heritage, which represents a strong tourism potential. Barcelona, as the capital, is globally renowned for its unique architecture, historical landmarks, and vibrant urban life, while Girona, Tarragona, and Lleida contribute to the region’s diversity with their cultural heritage, Mediterranean landscapes, and natural beauty. Although Catalonia records a steady increase in tourist arrivals, certain challenges, such as the uneven distribution of tourist activities throughout the year, overcrowding of popular destinations, and the need for sustainable resource management, may slow down further sector development. An analysis of the correlation between tourism and economic growth indicates that tourism has a significant impact on the region’s economy, particularly in hospitality, transportation, and service industries. However, for long-term sustainability, it is necessary to adapt tourism development strategies to ensure a balance between economic growth and the preservation of cultural and natural heritage

    Ovaj završni rad opisuje razvoj web aplikacije za prodaju parfema putem interneta. Aplikacija je izrađena koristeći skup tehnologija MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). MongoDB se koristi za upravljanje podacima, dok Express.js i Node.js upravljaju radom poslužitelja i komunikacijom s bazom podataka. React kreira dinamično i responzivno korisničko sučelje. Cloudinary se koristi za upravljanje slikama u oblaku, a Stripe i PayPal omogućuju sigurna plaćanja, povećavajući povjerenje korisnika. Google usluge, uključujući autentifikaciju, poboljšavaju funkcionalnost i jednostavan pristup aplikaciji. Aplikacija nudi administratorsko sučelje za upravljanje proizvodima i narudžbama te korisničko sučelje s opcijom za filtriranje i pretragu. Ove tehnologije čine aplikaciju sigurnom i prilagođenom potrebama online trgovine.This thesis describes the development of a web application for selling parfumes online, built using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js). MongoDB is used for managing data, while Express.js and Node.js handle server and database communication. React provides a dynamic and responsive user interface. Cloudinary is used for managing images in the cloud, while Stripe and PayPal facilitate secure payments, enhancing user trust. Google services, including authentication, improve functionality and provide simple access to the application. The application offers an administrator interface for managing products and orders, as well as a user interface with filtering and search capabilities. These technologies make the application secure and tailored to the needs of online commerce
