    ANALYSIS OF TRANSMISSION CHARACTERISTICS OF OPTICAL FIBERS THROUGH MEASUREMENTS AND MATLAB SIMULATION

    Cilj rada je usporediti stvarne i simulirane podatke radi procjene točnosti modela i boljeg razumijevanja utjecaja fizikalnih pojava na prijenos signala u svjetlovodnim sustavima. Na optičkom kabelu duljine 2,4 km provedena su mjerenja OTDR uređajem radi određivanja gušenja, refleksije i kvalitete veze. Također su izvedeni postupci fuzijskog spajanja vlakana, optičke inspekcije te testiranja komunikacije kroz uspostavljenu vezu. U Matlab/Simulink okruženju izrađeni su modeli za simulaciju gušenja i kromatske disperzije.The aim of this work is to compare real and simulated data in order to evaluate the accuracy of the model and better understand the impact of physical phenomena on signal transmission in fiber optic systems. OTDR measurements were performed on a 2.4 km long optical cable to determine attenuation, reflections, and link quality. Fusion splicing, optical inspection, and communication testing over the established connection were also carried out. Models for simulating attenuation and chromatic dispersion were developed in the Matlab/Simulink environment

    DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOMATIC FISH FEEDING SYSTEM IN CAGE FARMING

    Ovaj rad se bavi razvojem automatiziranog sustava za hranjenje ribe u manjim ribogojilištima, s ciljem smanjenja troškova i poboljšanja učinkovitosti. Sustav se temelji na pneumatskom transportu hrane, pri čemu se koristi manji kompresor, plovilo i spremnik prilagođeni manjim proizvođačima. Kroz automatizaciju procesa hranjenja smanjuje se fizički rad radnika i skraćuje vrijeme potrebno za hranjenje ribe, čime se povećava produktivnost. Sustav uključuje komponente poput aluminijskih spremnika, pužnice za transport hrane i dozatora koji omogućuju precizno doziranje. Hrana se transportira zrakom kroz cjevovod do hranilice koja ravnomjerno raspoređuje peletiranu hranu u kavezima. Ovaj pristup osigurava jednostavniju i bržu primjenu u manjim uzgajalištima, bez potrebe za velikim financijskim ulaganjima. Upotrebom ekološki prihvatljivih materijala produljuje se vijek trajanja sustava i smanjuje negativan utjecaj na okoliš. Cilj rada je predstaviti rješenje koje omogućava manjim ribogojilištima primjenu naprednih tehnologija za hranjenje ribe, uz povećanje učinkovitosti i održivosti poslovanja.This paper deals with the development of an automated fish feeding system for smaller fish farms, with the aim of reducing costs and improving efficiency. The system is based on pneumatic food transport, utilizing a smaller compressor, vessel, and storage tank tailored for smaller producers. By automating the feeding process, physical labor is reduced, and the time required to feed the fish is shortened, thus increasing productivity. The system includes components such as aluminum storage tanks, an auger for food transport, and a dispenser that ensures precise dosing. The food is transported through a pipeline by air to the feeder, which evenly distributes pelletized food within the cages. This approach ensures easier and faster application in smaller farms, without the need for large financial investments. The use of environmentally friendly materials extends the lifespan of the system and reduces its negative impact on the environment. The goal of this paper is to present a solution that enables smaller fish farms to adopt advanced fish feeding technologies, increasing efficiency and business sustainability

    IMPLEMENTATION OF HEX GAME AND RELATED AGENTS

    U okviru ovog rada je implementirana igra na ploči Hex i pripadajući agenti umjetne inteligencije. Agent donosi odluke algoritmom minimax sa alfa beta podrezivanjem i dubinskim produbljivanjem ili algoritmom Monte Carlo tree search (MCTS). Također su implementirane skripte koje vode statistike pobjeda raznih kombinacija agenata sa parametrima dubine, vremenskog ograničenja i istraživačkih konstanti. Implementirano je korisničko sučelje koristeći Pygame biblioteku. U teorijskom dijelu rada obuhvaćen je pregled samih agenta i njihovih algoritama, analiza efektivnosti samih algoritama u okviru igre, detalji igre i korisničkog sučelja.Within this thesis is the implementation of the board game Hex and its corresponding artificial intelligence agents. Agent does its decision making via the algorithm's minimax with alpha beta pruning or Monte Carlo tree search algorithm (MCTS). Scripts for tracking win rate statistics of various combinations of AI agents with depth parameters, time limitations and exploration constants are also implemented. A user interface is also implemented using the Pygame library. In the theoretical section of the thesis is a detailed explanation of the agents, their algorithms, effectivenss analysis of said algorithms within the scope of the game, details about the game and the implementation of the user interface

    Životni ciklus obiteljskih poduzeća je složen proces i svaka faza ima svoje izazove. U početnoj fazi cilj je pokrenuti poslovanje i preživjeti. Faza stabilizacije i rasta je sretno razdoblje u poslovanju obiteljskih poduzeća, dok se u fazi dozrelosti kada pokazatelji uspješnog poslovanja opadaju razmišlja da li napustiti poslovanje ili ga novim rješenjima ponovno stabilizirati. Važnost obiteljskih poduzeća za svjetsku i domaću ekonomiju, te gospodarstvo je jako velika jer ona zapošljavaju ne samo članove svoje obitelji nego nekada i veliki dio lokalne zajednice. Objašnjava se i prikazuje kroz različite sakupljene informacija iz raznih izvora i istraživanja koliko je zapravo obiteljsko poduzetništvo bitno za gospodarstvo jedne zemlje jer je ono velik izvor društvenog razvoja. Također su vrlo bitne i karakteristike obiteljskih poduzeća, prvenstveno prednosti i nedostatci kao što su samostalnost i sloboda, te obeshrabrenje i neodređeno radno vrijeme. Glavni cilj je analiza koliki utjecaj, kakvu moć, kakvu tradiciju poslovanja te kakav životni ciklus imaju obiteljska poduzeća, točnije jedno obiteljsko poduzeće kao što je Gavrilović. Ono je jedno od moćnijih i utjecajnijih poduzeća u državi te ga vodi čak deveta generacija nasljednika i upravo su to razlozi zašto je baš ono izabrano kao primjer. Dakle iz svega navedenog može se zaključiti da je životni ciklus ovog poduzeća jako dug i trenutno se poduzeće nalazi u fazi stabilizacije i rasta. Kroz pisanje ovog završnog rada mogli su se steći razni korisni zaključi o poduzetništvu i obiteljskim poduzećima kao bitnim faktorima gospodarstva svake države , te je rezultat pisanja ovog završnog rada usvojeno korisno znanje o tematici obiteljskog poduzetništva.The life cycle of family businesses is a complex process and each stage has its own challenges. In the initial phase, the goal is to start a business and survive. The phase of stabilization and growth is a happy period in the business of family businesses, while in the maturity phase, when indicators of successful business decline, people consider whether to leave the business or stabilize it again with new solutions. The importance of family businesses for the global and domestic economy, as well as the economy, is very great because they employ not only their own family members, but sometimes also a large part of the local community. It is explained and shown through various collected information from various sources and research, how important family entrepreneurship actually is for the economy of a country because it is a great source of social development. The characteristics of family businesses are also very important, primarily advantages and disadvantages such as independence and freedom, as well as discouragement and indefinite working hours. The main goal is to analyze how much influence, what kind of power, what kind of business tradition and what kind of life cycle family businesses have, more specifically a family business like Gavrilović. It is one of the most powerful and influential companies in the country, and it is run by even the ninth generation of heirs, and these are the reasons why it was chosen as an example. So from all of the above it can be concluded that the life cycle of this company is very long and currently the company is in the phase of stabilization and growth. Through the writing of this final paper, it was possible to gain various useful conclusions about entrepreneurship and family businesses as important factors of the economy of every country, and as a result of writing this final paper, useful knowledge on the topic of family entrepreneurship was adopted

    USE OF GPG TOOL IN ENERYPTION

    Cilj ovog završnog rada je objasniti na jednostavan način kako kriptirati e mail poruku i datoteku. Osnovni zadatak kriptografije je omogućiti dvjema osobama (zvat ćemo ih pošiljatelj i primatelj - u kriptografskoj literaturi su za njih rezervirana imena Alice i Bob) komuniciranje preko nesigurnog komunikacijskog kanala (telefonska linija, računalna mreža, ...) na način da treća osoba, koja može nadzirati komunikacijski kanal, ne može razumjeti njihove poruke. Za kriptiranje poruke se koristio program Kleopatra. Kleopatra upravlja certifikatima i GUI za GnuPG što ga čini idealnim za korištenjem u ovom primjeru. Softver pohranjuje OpenPGP certifikate i ključeve. Dostupan je za Windows i Linux. U kombinaciji s klijentom e-pošte , pouzdan je za slanje kriptiranih poruka putem e-pošte kao što smo mi demonstrirali u ovom radu.The goal of this final paper is to explain in a simple way how to encrypt an e-mail message or file. The basic task of cryptography is to enable two people (we will call them sender and receiver - in cryptographic literature the names Alice and Bob are reserved for them) to communicate over an insecure communication channel (telephone line, computer network, ...) in such a way that a third person, who can monitor the communication channel, cannot understand their messages. Kleopatra software was used to encrypt the message. Kleopatra manages the certificates and GUI for GnuPG which makes it ideal to use in this example. The software stores OpenPGP certificates and keys. It is available for Windows and Linux. Combined with an email client, it is reliable for sending encrypted messages via email as we have demonstrated in this paper

    U ovom radu obrađeni su pojmovi poduzetnik i poduzetništvo te konkretnije obiteljsko poduzetništvo i izazovi koji se pojavljuju u takvom poslovanju. Obiteljsko poduzetništvo predstavlja značajan segment globalne ekonomije, obuhvaća razne sektore i doprinosi održivom razvoju. Ono posjeduje brojne prednosti poput generacijske stabilnosti, zadržavanja obiteljske tradicije, visoke razine predanosti te međuljudske povezanosti. Kao i svako poduzeće, osim prednosti, ima i svoje mane, posebice u kontekstu upravljanja i nasljeđivanja. Cilj ovoga rada bio je istražiti specifične probleme koje obiteljska poduzeća susreću. Analizirana je obiteljska dinamika u poslovanju, donošenje važnih odluka koje utječu na obitelj, proces nasljeđivanja i upravljanja poslovanjem. Rad, osim teorijskih razmatranja, sadrži i analizu istinitih poslovnih primjera koji su se koristili kako bi se bolje prikazale poteškoće koje se mogu pojaviti u bilo kojem stadiju poslovanja te smjernice za njihovo prevladavanje. Zaključno, ovim radom prikazana je kompleksnost poduzetništva i obiteljskog poslovanja te pridonosi boljem razumijevanju poduzetnika. Kroz analizu i primjere, rad nudi koristan okvir za razmatranje „šire slike“ obiteljskih poduzeća, čime se potiče njihov razvoj i uspjeh na tržištu.This paper addresses the concepts of entrepreneur and entrepreneurship, more specifically family entrepreneurship and the challenges that arise in such businesses. Family entrepreneurship represents a significant segment of the global economy, encompassing various sectors and contributing to sustainable development. It possesses numerous advantages such as generational stability, retention of family tradition, a high level of commitment, and interpersonal connections. Like any enterprise, in addition to advantages, it also has its flaws, especially in the context of management and succession. The aim of this paper was to explore the specific problems faced by family businesses. The family dynamics in business, decision-making as a family, and the process of succession and business management were analyzed. Besides theoretical considerations, the paper includes an analysis of real business examples used to better illustrate the challenges that can arise at any stage of business and provide guidelines for overcoming them. In conclusion, this paper demonstrates the complexity of entrepreneurship and family business and contributes to a better understanding of entrepreneurs. Through analysis and examples, the paper offers a useful framework for considering the "bigger picture" of family businesses, thereby encouraging their development and success in the market

    Cilj ovog završnog rada je bio modernizirati ono što neki smatraju začetkom jednog žanra, ako ne i cijele industrije. Videoigra Doom, izdana 1993. godine od strane kompanije idSoftware, revolucionarna je pucačka igrica u prvom licu koja je značajno promijenila pejzaž video igara. Ova igra je postavila nove standarde u pogledu grafike, gameplaya i tehnoloških inovacija tog vremena. Sa svojom revolucionarnom tehnologijom 3D prikazivanja, Doom je omogućio igračima da istražuju trodimenzionalne svjetove, što je bilo revolucionarno u odnosu na prethodne 2D pucačke videoigre. Osim toga, popularizirala je multiplayer aspekte igara, omogućujući igračima da se bore protiv jedni drugih putem lokalne mreže. Korištenjem suvremenih tehnologija razvoja video igara ujedinjenih u jednom okruženju poznatije kao Unity3D (engl. Unity 3D game engine) - srži brojnih video igara nastao 2006. godine predočene su osnovne karakteristike originalnog Dooma, te je prikazan razvoj prosječne pucačke videoigre osnovne razine nakon 1993. godine. Videoigra se sastoji od tri različita dijela mape ispunjene protivnicima koje igrač mora poraziti da bi mogao prijeći na idući cilj. Da bi napredovao dalje mora također skupljati ključeve po mapi, ne bi li mogao otključati prolaze raspoređene na dijelovima mape. Kada se pronađu svi ključevi, poraze svi protivnici i otkriju svi skriveni dijelovi mape, igra se smatra okončanom.The aim of this final paper was to modernize what some consider the inception of a genre, if not the entire industry. Doom, released in 1993 by id Software, is a revolutionary first-person shooter that significantly altered the landscape of video games. This game set new standards in terms of graphics, gameplay, and technological innovations of that era. With its groundbreaking 3D rendering technology, Doom enabled players to explore three-dimensional worlds, which was revolutionary compared to previous 2D shooters. Furthermore, it popularized multiplayer aspects of gaming, allowing players to compete against each other through local networks. By utilizing modern game development technologies consolidated in an environment known as Unity3D (Unity 3D game engine), which originated in 2006, the fundamental characteristics of the original Doom were presented, and the development of an average shooter game at a basic level after 1993 was showcased. The video game consists of three different parts of a map filled with enemies that the player must defeat in order to progress to the next objective. To advance further, the player must also collect keys scattered throughout the map to unlock passages. When they find all the keys, defeat all the enemies, and uncover all the hidden parts of the map, the game is considered completed

    ACTIVE EMPLOYMENT POLICY IN THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

    Aktivna politika zapošljavanja (APZ) obuhvaća različite mjere koje država provodi kako bi potaknula zapošljavanje i smanjila nezaposlenost. Ove mjere, kao što su subvencije za zapošljavanje, programi osposobljavanja, prekvalifikacije i poticanje samozapošljavanja, ključne su za poboljšanje konkurentnosti radne snage i integraciju ranjivih skupina na tržište rada. U radu se analiziraju učinci APZ-a na tržište rada u Republici Hrvatskoj, s posebnim naglaskom na utjecaj tih mjera na zapošljavanje mladih, dugotrajno nezaposlenih te osoba s nižim stupnjem obrazovanja. Kroz pregled statističkih podataka i stručnih analiza, rad daje uvid u učinkovitost ovih mjera i ukazuje na područja koja zahtijevaju daljnje unaprjeđenje.Active employment policy (AEP) includes various measures implemented by the country to promote employment and reduce unemployment. These measures, such as employment subsidies, training programs, retraining, and support for self-employment are essential for improving the competitiveness of the workforce and integrating vulnerable groups into the labor market. This final paper analyzes the effects of AEP on the labor market in the Republic of Croatia, with a particular focus on the impact of these measures on youth employment, longterm unemployed individuals, and those with lower educational qualifications. Through a review of statistical data and expert analyses, the paper provides insight into the effectiveness of these measures and highlights areas that require further improvement

    DEVELOPMENT OF ENO-GASTRONOMIC ROUTES FOR TOURISTS IN NAUTICAL TOURISM IN CROATIA

    Tema ovog rada je razvoj eno-gastronomskih ruta unutar nautičkog turizma u Hrvatskoj, s naglaskom na povezivanje lokalne hrane, vina i tradicije s iskustvom plovidbe. Cilj rada je analizirati profil nautičkih turista, postojeću ponudu te definirati mogućnosti za kreiranje atraktivnih itinerera koji zadovoljavaju potrebe suvremenih posjetitelja. Korištenjem sekundarnih izvora, studija slučaja i analize trendova, utvrđeno je da eno-gastronomski sadržaji mogu značajno obogatiti turističku ponudu i pridonijeti produljenju sezone, jačanju lokalne ekonomije te boljoj regionalnoj povezanosti. Kao rezultat, izrađeni su prijedlozi dviju ruta, jedna duž Dalmacije, a druga sjevernim dijelom Jadrana koje uključuju vrhunske gastronomske destinacije i vinare prilagođene nautičkom pristupu. Došlo se do zaključka kako uspješan razvoj ovog turističkog proizvoda zahtijeva koordinaciju dionika, ulaganje u infrastrukturu i digitalnu promociju, te naglašenu održivost i autentičnost kao ključne elemente konkurentnosti.The topic of this paper is the development of eno-gastronomic routes within nautical tourism in Croatia, with an emphasis on connecting local food, wine and tradition with the sailing experience. The aim of the paper is to analyze the profile of nautical tourists, the existing offer and define the possibilities for creating attractive itineraries that meet the needs of modern visitors. Using secondary sources, case studies and trend analysis, it was determined that eno-gastronomic contents can significantly enrich the tourist offer and contribute to extending the season, strengthening the local economy and better regional connectivity. As a result, proposals for two routes were made, one along Dalmatia and the other along the northern part of the Adriatic, which include top gastronomic destinations and wineries adapted to the nautical approach. It was concluded that the successful development of this tourism product requires stakeholder coordination, investment in infrastructure and digital promotion, and emphasized sustainability and authenticity as key elements of competitiveness

    WS2811 LED LAMPS MANAGEMENT MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT

    Ovaj diplomski rad bavi se razvojem mobilne aplikacije za upravljanje WS2811 adresabilnim LED (engl. Light-emitting diode) lampicama, s naglaskom na interaktivno i vizualno oblikovanje svjetlosnih uzoraka. Glavna funkcionalnost aplikacije omogućuje korisnicima crtanje po virtualnom prikazu božićnog bora, koji se sastoji od stotinu točkica raspoređenih u oblik stabla. Svaka točkica predstavlja jednu fizičku LED lampicu, čime se korisniku pruža jednostavno i intuitivno sučelje za stvaranje vlastitih svjetlosnih efekata. Aplikacija omogućuje korisnicima crtanje i personalizaciju rasporeda LED lampica, uz dodatne funkcionalnosti poput dijeljenja i označavanja predložaka. Dostupna je i kupovina unaprijed izrađenih dizajna te pregled kupljenih i omiljenih uzoraka. U radu je opisan razvoj aplikacije, od ideje i dizajna do implementacije i povezivanja s WS2811 LED sustavom.This thesis focuses on the development of a mobile application for managing WS2811 addressable LED lights, commonly known as „Fairy lights”, with an emphasis on interactive and visual design of lighting patterns. The core functionality of the application allows users to draw on a virtual representation of a Christmas tree composed of a hundred dots arranged in a tree-like shape. Each dot corresponds to a physical LED light, providing users with a simple and intuitive interface for creating personalized lighting effects. The application combines creative expression with technical functionality, allowing users to design, share, like, and purchase LED lighting layouts. This thesis outlines the development process, showcasing how mobile technology enables intuitive and interactive control of decorative lighting using the WS2811 LED system
