    Prinsip Manajemen Pendidikan Islam: (Studi Hadits Sepuluh Indikator Iman Dan Akhlak)

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis 1) prinsip Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, sepuluh ciri/indikator iman dan akhlak, 2) prinsip Manajemen Pendidikan Islam (studi hadits sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak), 3) penerapan sepuluh ciri/ indikator iman dan akhlak dalam Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Metode penelitian berbasis kepustakaan, dengan tahapan penelitian 1) mengumpulkan bahan penelitian, 2) membaca bahan kepustakaan, 3) membuat catatan penelitian, 4) mengolah catatan penelitian, dan 5) membuat kesimpulan. Studi hadits yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah menampilkan  1) sepuluh teks hadits dan sanad hadits yang berhubungan dengan sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak, 2) terjemah hadits, 3) biografi singkat sanad/ perawi hadits, 4) analisa hadits, dan 5) implementasi hadits dalam Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Adapun subyek penelitian dalam artikel ini adalah studi hadits sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak sebagai salah satu prinsip Manajemen Pendidikan Islam. Hasil utama penelitian adalah 1) sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak merupakan prinsip dasar dan utama dalam menjalankan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam 2) dalam kajian hadits, sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak telah dipesankan oleh Rasulullah SAW kepada para sahabat dan umatnya. Semua menjadi dasar untuk mewujudkan kehidupan yang harmoni, terkhusus dalam menjalankan Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, 3) dalam Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, sepuluh indikator iman dan akhlak merupakan konsep-konsep yang memegang peran penting dalam membentuk sikap dan perilaku siswa yang positif.     The Changing Roles of Women in Java: From Housewife Roles to Family Woman

    Javanese society shared the same views as other societies on the significant role of women. The ideal woman in Javanese culture is one that embodies kindness, dignity, and politeness. Being a wife is one of the women's roles. In the Javanese social perspective, a wife must obey her husband. The patrilineal flow that the Javanese value undoubtedly had an impact on this circumstance as well. The role of women in modern times has undergone many changes. In this day and age, women's involvement in work is essential, there is almost no difference, both have the right, status, role, and opportunity to develop and contribute to the structure of modern society. This journal aims to explore the change of role of housewife in java to family woman. The review of journal showed that there are many changes that impacted the role of housewife to family woman including National Long-Term Development Plan (RPJPN) which has one of the goals is gender equality and justice, there are still a sequence of trouble and challenge faced correlated to enlargement indicators connected to gender equality and women empowerment such as education, health, politics, economy that have a broad scale of influence and high level of consequence for the realization of gender equality and women's empowerment

    The Attitudes of EFL Learners on Using Mall in English Online Classroom

    In the era of easiness because of the development of modern things correlated with language, almost all human life aspects should include those. Nowadays almost nothing who do not know how to access technology, including EFL learners. Besides this research aims to identify EFL learners’ attitudes toward using MALL for online English classes. Technology role and learners’ ability to utilize it are considered significant after the global pandemic was announced, which drove all education activities to be fully online. One of the subjects that can greatly benefit from technology is English, since almost everyone worldwide enhances its technology. To achieve the goals of this study, a descriptive qualitative method was used, with a questionnaire adopted from Jebur and interviews conducted with 52 EFL learners at Tidar University who had completed a two-year English online course as a result of the pandemic outbreak. The result shows that the positive attitudes of most EFL learners are visible toward the use of mobile phones in English online classes. It can be a benefit in some cases, yet need another media where it could be depending on each learner’s preference. In conclusion, teachers should be aware of each learner to provide authentic media for particular class purposes. However, this research would benefit for the newest data to the readers or researchers in this certain field to make further improvements

    Purpose- This research aims to explore the study of contradictions (tadlād) in meaning found in Surah Al-Maidah. Tadlād is a study in the realm of semantic beauty known as thibāq in the science of Badi'. This study presents an interesting discussion regarding the aesthetic appeal of a sentence when viewed in terms of the selection of its words.  Design/ Methodology/ Approach- The research method employed is qualitative, specifically library research and content analysis of Surah Al-Maidah using the tadlād maknawy theory in thibaq studiy. Findings- The research findings indicate that there are 22 instances of thibāq in Surah Al-Maidah, with a breakdown of 15 instances of thibāq ijab, 6 instances of thibāq salab, and 1 instance classified as thibāq khafi or iham al-tadlād. The study also highlights the important distinction between al-tadlād and al-muqābalah, which is often misunderstood.  Research Limitation/ Implication- The impact of this research is to strengthen the faith of Muslims in experiencing the beauty of the Qur'an, particularly in Surah Al-Maidah. Additionally, there are several important findings, such as the distinction between muqābalah and tadlād, which are often mistakenly understood as the same thing. This research contributes significantly to the study of thibāq and provides valuable insights for further exploration

    Pendampingan Matrikulasi Kompetensi Bahasa Arab Berbasis Pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD)

    Purpose- This research aims to describe the process of assisting the matriculation of Arabic competence at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 1 Pasuruan. Design/Methodology/Approach- This research was conducted to add to the treasures of community assistance with the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach. The method used in this mentoring process uses the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach with a five-step method, namely Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, Destiny. qualitative data collection is done by observation, interviews and documentation. Sources of data are teachers and students as well as assistants. While the collected data is processed and analyzed using data reduction flow, data display and conclusion drawing. Findings- The results of the assistance show that the Arabic language competency matriculation assistance at MAN 1 Pasuruan was carried out in five stages, namely Discovery, Dream, Design, Define, Destiny. Every stage of this assistance is carried out properly. While the results of this assistance are also very good, where students are able to explore the competencies they have and all of them follow the process of this activity properly. So that they are able to take part in Arabic language competitions both held by local madrasas and on a wider scale.  Research Limitations/Implications- This research is limited to facilitation of Arabic competency matriculation at MAN 1 Pasuruan. This matriculation assistance focuses on efforts to increase the competency of students in mastering Arabic language skills which are focused on preparation for participating in various Arabic language competitions.

    Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Writing Application for Improving Writing Skills of Islamic Education Students

    This study is aimed to illuminate the use of AI-assisted writing applications to improve academic writing skills and describe how to implement AI-assisted writing applications for EFL academic writing. This study is qualitative reasearch. The data is collected through analysis of writing task and interview about the use of Artificial Intelligence in academic writing. After analyzing students’ writing task and interview related to the use of AI in language teaching, especially in writing. The study revealed that the use of AI-assisted applications is beneficial for students, especially students of Islamic education study program. The applications could help the students construct paragraphs, correct the structures, and even paraphrase the paragraphs. The use of AI in writing will not replace human existence since AI-assisted writing application is just a tool, there should be creativity and logical reasoning in writing an academic article. The use of Artificial intelligent-assisted applications could be applied as new model to increase students’ writing skills since there are many features and easiness offered by AI technology

    Women's Contributions in Islam: Tracing Their Journey from Historical Contexts to Modern Digital Educational Environments

    The issue of gender equality and justice for women seems endless to discuss, through this research is intended to provide a comprehensive insight into the role of women in Islam, from a historical perspective to their challenges and roles in the digital age. Through historical analysis, this study outlines how women played a significant role in the development of Islamic civilization by revealing the stories of inspirational female figures. Emphasis is placed on assessing the role of women as educational, social, and important contributors in community development. The introduction of the digital age gave rise to new dynamics that influenced the role of women in Islamic societies. The availability of information and communication technology opens wider access but also presents new challenges such as gaps in access and mastery of technology between genders. This research uses qualitative methods with literature studies by exploring various references relevant to the research topic. The study concluded that women in Islamic societies have great potential to play an active role in the digital age, influencing social, economic, and cultural development. However, the gap in access to technology and social norms that still bind women requires collaborative action from various elements to enable women to harness their full potential in the digital age

    Self-Efficacy of Lecturers and Students in Academic Writing: Are there any differences?

    Self-efficacy is a critical component of academic article writing. Numerous studies have demonstrated that self-efficacy affects reading comprehension, but few have examined the level of self-efficacy between students and lecturers regarding academic writing. Consequently, this study sought to ascertain students' and lecturers' levels of self-efficacy in academic writing. By administering questionnaires and conducting interviews with students and teachers, this study takes an explanatory mixed-methods approach to the topic. The online survey assesses self-efficacy in academic writing, and students and lecturers complete unstructured interviews. The study enrolled eighty students and eighteen lecturers from the English Department of UIN Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The results indicate that students enrolled in the English Language Education and English Literature Study Programs have a moderate level of self-efficacy. The self-efficacy of lecturers in the English Language Education and English Literature Study Programs demonstrates similar results.     Higher Order Thinking Skill’s Instruction Delivered by EFL Teacher During an Online Learning

    HOTS promote the idea of assessing students’ critical thinking, creative thinking, and problem solving. Many teachers claimed to implement HOTS in the classroom, but turned out they tended to have LOTS in their teaching and learning process. Since the teaching and learning process has shifted from in person meeting to the virtual one due to COVID-19, there was an adjustment to conduct the learning process. Hence, the present study aimed to figure out teacher’s strategies to deliver HOTS’ instruction, students’ HOTS, and the construction of HOTS’ instruction during online learning. This study employed qualitative research and two English teachers were involved. The data was gathered through classroom observation. The findings revealed that direct instruction and questioning strategies were efficient and effective to activate students’ HOTS through asking the students’ point of views about online and offline learning systems and having the students’ work in group to discuss a certain topic. Further, analyzing and evaluating procedural knowledge and metacognitive knowledge were the most abilities exposed by the instructions. In this case, the students activated their critical thinking, creative thinking during online learning. Then, the instructions delivered by the teachers during the class promoted students’ creative thinking and critical thinking because they encouraged students’ creativity, motivated their self-confidence to participate in the class, had the students be communicative, and exposed students’ understanding and knowledge. The instructions were clear enough and reflected imperative and interrogative sentences, so that the students easily understood what they needed to do during the learning process. However, one teacher could not promote HOTS pretty well because he encouraged the students to talk about direct and indirect speech, which was the area about understanding conceptual knowledge. &nbsp

    Manajemen Kepala Madrasah Dalam Mencapai Visi, Misi, dan Sasaran Pada MIN 31 Kabupaten Aceh Utara

    This study aims to determine planning, implementation, evaluation and supporting and inhibiting factors for the management of the Madrasah Principal in achieving the Vision, Mission and Targets at MIN 31 North Aceh District of North Aceh. Sources of data in this study included the Head of Madrasah, Deputy Head of Curriculum, and teachers of North Aceh MIN 31 North Aceh. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques in this study include observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that first, planning for the management of the madrasah head in achieving the vision, mission and goals of North Aceh MIN 31 is carried out Formulation of character education programs that are integrated with the madrasah curriculum, holding activities to commemorate Islamic holidays, social services, holding congregational midday prayers, socialization of academic regulations, and monthly, mid-semester and annual coaching, and giving rewards and sanctions both routinely and incidentally. Second, the management of Madrasah heads in achieving the vision, mission and goals of MIN 31 North Aceh is carried out at MIN 31 North Aceh is carried out by determining the types of extracurricular activities that suit the talents and interests of students and determining character values ​​in each type of extracurricular activities by the coach extracurricular, Third, Evaluation of the management of the Madrasah head is carried out by determining the character values ​​to be instilled, the formation of the madrasa culture, and the supporting and inhibiting factors of the Madrasah Head in achieving the vision, mission and goals at MIN 31 North Aceh. The four supporting factors are: the principal's leadership factor, the educational qualification factor of all educational staff and education staff, the support factor from the community and school members including committee members and parents. While the inhibiting factors include the indiscipline of teaching and educational staff in carrying out programs, the lack of public understanding related to achieving the madrasah vision, mission and goals. and the lack of quality capabilities of all stakeholders in improving the quality of madrasa
