    Manajemen Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer (ANBK) Jenjang SMA/ SMK Dinas Pendidikan Jawa Timur

    Pelaksanaan Asesmen Nasional Berbasis Komputer (ANBK) sebagai upaya proses evaluasi pendidikan diperlukan kontinuitas dalam peningkatan sistem manajemennya, terciptanya efektifitas dan efisiensi proses evaluasi pendidikan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan melalui proses penilaian yang komprehensif. Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi ANBK di tingkat SMA/SMK Jawa Timur, mengidentifikasi manfaat, faktor penghambat dan pendukung, serta menganalisis potensi kendala yang mungkin muncul selama implementasi ANBK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan penggalian data yang dilakukan melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Manajemen pelaksanaan dalam ANBK di dinas pendidikan Jawa Timur menerapkan 4 sistem manajerial POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating dan Controlling) mulai dari persiapan tim di dinas Pendidikan, pengarahan kepada setiap daerah untuk pemrograman ANBK, pengarahan administrasi data dari peserta ANBK dan menyebarkan survey lingkungan belajar agar hasil dari diadakannya ANBK dapat dengan maksimal, serta adanya evaluasi atau pengontrolan dari dinas Pendidikan kepada sekolah yang menjadi sampling disetiap daerah.     English Vocabulary Mastery of University Students an Analysis Of Students’ Essays Writing at Bina Bangsa Getsempena University

    Without doubt, vocabulary is a crucial part in mastering English language skills. It is the basic element that helps to construct a well written or spoken text. These two production skills assist students to be communicative well. However, the range of vocabulary produced becomes a problem when the students have difficulties to deploy the words properly. This study, therefore, tried to examine the typical of vocabulary applied by the EFL students in their writing text. By analyzing those writing text, it is depicted the vocabularies they applied. This is a qualitative descriptive research. The researchers relied on the list of academic words by Averil Coxhead (2000) and new academic words by Dr. Charles Browne, Dr. Brent Culligan and Joseph Phillips (2013) in analyzing the vocabularies in the written text. The words in the written texts were highlighted and categorized based on the lists. The result showed that, the students’ vocabularies had some characteristics: (1) low lexical density; (2) higher repetition of information; and (3) higher proportion of basic and frequently-used words and lower usage of academic words.     Navigating English Language for Specific Needs: Schools Stakeholder in Overcoming International School

    This study aimed to investigate the challenges encountered by English for Specific Purposes (ESP) learners in their journey to enhance English language proficiency. A mixed-methods approach was adopted, incorporating a comprehensive literature review and conducting semi-structured interviews with three ESP teachers and three administrative staff members from the same educational institutions. The findings from the literature review revealed that ESP learners often struggle with managing their time effectively due to the demands of their personal commitments, learners' self-efficacy in facing confidence issues, fear of making mistakes, and negative past experiences hindering their language learning progress. Moreover, limited access to authentic materials tailored to their specific fields emerged as a crucial obstacle, impacting learners' ability to develop subject-specific vocabulary and comprehend real-world language use. By recognizing and addressing these challenges, educators and institutions can develop more targeted and effective language learning strategies, ultimately empowering ESP learners to overcome their obstacles and achieve higher levels of English proficienc

    Penelitian ini berupaya mengkaji strategi rehabilitasi yang diberlakukan oleh kiai pengasuh pondok pesantren Sirojuth Tholibin II Saman Al-Hadad kepada santri-santrinya, yang notabene merupakan korban penyalahguna narkoba. Maraknya remaja pecandu narkoba dewasa ini semakin mengkhawatirkan. Jika tidak mendapatkan penanganan serius, tentu akan berdampak pada masa depan remaja tersebut. Di sini, beberapa pesantren di Indonesia telah melakukan satu upaya nyata, yakni dengan menjadikan pesantrennya sebagai tempat rehabilitasi. Pun demikian dilakukan oleh pesantren di Blitar. Namun, tidak seperti pesantren rehabilitasi pada umumnya, pondok sirojuth tholibin memiliki strategi penanganan yang khas bagi kesembuhan santri-santrinya. Pondok pesantren ini memadukan metode keislaman dengan penguatan keterampilan. Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif-deskriptif. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan indepth interview terhadap subjek penelitian, akni Kiai pengasuh ponpes Sirojuth Tholibin. Hasil penelitian ini secara spesifik mengungkapkan strategi-strategi yang digunakan oleh kiai Harun Syafi’i dalam merehabilitasi santri-santri Saman al-Hadad yang merupakan korban penyalahgunaan narkoba.&nbsp

    The background of this study is the lack of self-awareness of students in worship discipline. This study aims to determine the efforts of fiqh teachers in training student worship discipline at MIS Bidayatul Hidaysh 3 Medan Amplas which includes the efforts of fiqh teachers to become uswatun hasanah, providing advice, punishments and rewards, training or practice and habituation as well as to find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors of fiqh teachers' efforts in training worship discipline consisting of internal factors,  namely awareness, interests, motivations, and mindsets, and external factors, namely habituation, parental example, school environment, and friends. This research uses a type of field research with a qualitative approach. The subject in this study was 1 teacher of jurisprudence subjects MIS Bidayatul Hidayah 3 Medan Amplas, while the object of this study was the efforts of fiqh teachers, supporting factors and inhibiting factors of fiqh teachers' efforts in training student worship discipline at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah 3 Medan Amplas. Data collection techniques are taken by observation, interviews and documentation. After the data is collected, it is then processed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the results of the study, the efforts of jurisprudence teachers in training student worship discipline in Mis Bidayatul Hidayah 3 Medan Amplas are to be uswatun hasanah or good role models for students, provide advice on the importance of worship discipline, provide punishment for students who are not disciplined and give rewards to students who are disciplined in carrying out prayers. In addition, jurisprudence teachers also continue to conduct trainings and practices by continuing to be supervised so that students are accustomed to discipline in carrying out worship

    The descriptive study analyzed the skills of vocational school students with low, medium, and high levels of mathematical anxiety in terms of their problem-solving abilities. It used a qualitative approach to examine the various mathematical content strands and scientific contexts of the learners. Its findings were based on the notion of the problem-solving stage by Polya, Newman,  as well as Krulik and Rudnik. The data collected during the study was gathered through a written test, which involved asking the participants to complete a questionnaire about their mathematical anxiety levels before they were asked to solve numeracy problems. The results of the study revealed that students with high levels of anxiety were more prone to experiencing problems with problem-solving. The findings of this study are valuable to mathematics educators and researchers. It is also expected to contribute to the development of effective problem-solving strategies for students

    Pendidikan nonformal merupakan jalur pendidikan di luar pendidikan formal yang dapat ditempuh secara terstruktur dan bertahap. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana Kementerian Agama Sidoarjo memajukan pendidikan agama nonformal serta memberikan gambaran dan tata cara pengurusan izin penyelenggaraan suatu jenis peraturan lembaga pendidikan Islam khususnya TPQ di Kantor Kementerian Agama Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penulis mendatangi kantor Kementerian Agama wilayah Sidoarjo atau PD Pontren untuk mewawancarai langsung narasumber. Penelitian data deskriptif dalam bentuk observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai metode pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tata cara pengajuan izin pengelolaan TPQ ke kantor Kementerian Agama Sidoarjo dilakukan secara online, khusus menggunakan aplikasi SIPDAR (Sistem Informasi Pelayanan Tanda Daftar TPQ). Pelamar mendaftar secara online dengan mendaftar, melengkapi profil organisasinya dan kemudian mengunggah dokumen yang ditentukan. Badan Pengelola Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten melakukan proses verifikasi fisik dengan melakukan penelusuran di lokasi pemohon.     Management Information System (MIS) is a system created to provide relevant information for managers who want to make decisions. For example, there is an application called SIAGA (religious teacher information and administration system) which is one of the SIM components that is being used in the religious ministry of Kediri district. This research aims to understand how SIM-based applications have helped the Islamic Religious Education (PAIS) section at the Ministry of Religion of Kediri Regency improve its administrative services. The research approach used is qualitative. The methods used in this research include interviews, observation and documentation. The conclusions of this research clearly show that the SIAGA application has the potential to improve administrative services in the PAIS Section located in the Kediri Regency Ministry of Religion

    The low science learning outcomes are usually caused by learning that is still teacher-centered (monotonous), in the learning process the teacher still uses the lecture method and the few learning resources used by students. This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of class IX students of SMP Negeri 5 Surabaya in the subject of Animal Breeding through the Problem Based Learning model. This type of research used pre-experiment, the research method used was a quantitative descriptive approach, the research subjects were 30 students of class IX-A, the data collection technique used pre-test and post-test. The pre-test and post-test were used to find out the learning outcomes of class IX-A students on Animal Breeding material, the results obtained from the pre-test were, as many as 17 students or 56.66% of 100% of students had understood the animal breeding material . While the lowest score was 4 students out of 30 children or 13.33%, they were still in the very low category in understanding animal breeding material. With this the average pre-test score for class IX-A is 83.22, the post-test results obtained are as many as 22 students out of 30 children or 73.33% having the highest score. While the lowest is 3 children or the equivalent of 10% of the total. While the average student score in the post test has an average of 84.66. Thus, the application of the problem based learning model is very effective as evidenced by the high mean scores of the post-test and pre-test conducted
