Pemberian Scaffolding Berdasarkan Kesalahan Berpikir Siswa Dalam Memecahkan Masalah Matematika
Get PDFThis research was aimed to elaborate on the form of scaffolding given by learners on algebra problem-solving. The approach used is descriptive qualitative. The study conducted in a junior high school in Malang Regency with 25 students and only two students were selected as research subjects to be given scaffolding level 2. Data collection method begins by requiring learners to solve algebra and next identify the pattern of mistakes or mistakes. Learners who have wrong answers, used as research samples. The results prove the form of scaffolding given the subject. If the subject experiences an error in understanding the problem, the scaffolding is given asking the subject to re-read the problem properly and carefully and give direction questions. However, if the subject has difficulty in making the planning of the settlement, the scaffolding given is giving the subject the opportunity to rearrange the design of the right answer. If the subject experiences an error in carrying out the planning, the scaffolding given is asking the subject to pay attention to the mathematical concept and to be careful in operating algebra

Get PDFThe background of this study is lack of understanding student with Arabic thesis produced by students of Arabic Education department in IAIN Pontianak FTIK. Those problems arise because of the low understanding of the logical language rules between Arabic and Indonesian. This study was analyzed by calculating path analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) there is no significant relationship between syntactic mastery and mastery of students majoring in PBA, path parameter coefficient between syntax and mastery of nahwu science of -0.148 with T-Statistics of 0.868 and P-Values amounting to 0.387, because P> 0.05, 2) there is a significant positive relationship between syntactic mastery and the ability to write Arabic student text because the path parameter coefficient value between the two variables is 0.524 with a T-statistic value of 3.626 and P-Values ??of 0 00, because P <0.05, 3) there was an insignificant relationship between the mastery of nahwu and the ability to write Arabic student text because it obtained the path parameter parameter coefficient between the two variables of 0.214 with a T-Statistical value of 1.2229 and P-Values ??of 0.221 , because P> 0.05, 4) there is a significant relationship between mastery of sint simultaneous axis with mastery of student writing skills because the total effect of Syntax mastery together with the influence of mastery variables on writing ability is 0.493 with T statistic of 3.197 with P-Values ??level of 0.002, because P-Values ??is <0.05, then H0 is rejected
The Effects of Using Duolingo Towards Student’s Vocabulary Mastery (An Experiment of Junior High School Students at Omega Sains Institute)
No full textLearning a foreign language is not so tedious and troublesome through the internet software to be the easiest platform, lots to avail and reach, such as Duolingo. Duolingo deliberately carry the concept of "playing while learning" to make it more fun and easier to use by all ages. This research aim is to find out the effects of using Duolingo towards student’s vocabulary mastery. It also expected to enable tutors to utilize electronic media such as Duolingo to support more modern and interesting teaching activities such as mobile or web-based applications. This research is an experimental research to find effects of using Duolingo (x) towards student’s vocabulary mastery (y) in controlled condition. The experimental method used is true-experimental design, the researchers used Post-test Only Control. The sampling technique used by the researcher is simple random sampling, which is the experimental class VIII consisting of 30 students, as well as the control class VIII consisting of 30 students. The result of student learning English with media Duolingo's Android Application has a positive effect compared to conventional student approaches.
 
Integrating ORAI Application in Teaching English at Senior High School

There are numerous teaching media based on technology. One of them is Orai Application that is applied in teaching and learning of English especially speaking fluency. Today, all graduates face a world transformed by technology, in which the Internet, cloud computing, and social media create different opportunities and challenges for formal education systems. Higher education in the fourth industrial revolution is a complex, dialectical and exciting opportunity which can potentially transform society for the better. The fourth industrial revolution is powered by artificial intelligence and it will transform the workplace from tasks based characteristics to the human centred characteristics. This paper is aims to explore the use of Orai application in classroom teaching speaking in assisting student’s speaking fluency.
 
The Use of Facebook and Development of Students’ Writing Skills
Get PDFThis qualitative study investigates the extent to which Facebook supports EFL teaching and learning, potential and challenges of using Facebook on English writing subject, and teacher and students’ responses toward Facebook implementation. Conducted at a junior high school in Surakarta, this study involved one EFL teacher and five students as participants. Data from classroom observation, interview, and documentation suggest that the use of Facebook as a technology-based media in English writing classroom enhances the discussion and participation in teaching-learning activities. After a class discussion on Facebook facilitated by the teacher has allowed the student to visit the Facebook and to have a group discussion. The social media has provided students with a better learning process through a variety of multi-media resources which enhance autonomous learning strategies and improves their achievement of English writing
The Use of Picture to Improve Students’ Speaking Skill in English
No full textThis study is aimed to investigate how to teach English speaking or conversation interestingly for students by using a picture so that the students are easier to learn and enjoy in speaking English to others in the classroom. Method employed was descriptive qualitative method by doing observation and library research. Findings shows that using picture is one of good way to create an interesting learning process, so the students can easier to understand the lesson, and get enthusiastic to speak English to others in the classroom. Finally, if student always practice it repeatedly even out of the class, they will be able to remember permanently what they had learned and they will improve their ability in speaking English automatically.

In the historical perspective of ancient society, it is also associated with the myths of public belief based on the nature of the world in general consists of muzakkar and muannats.These theory - in another perspective - especially the ancient society has the power of argument and reason, but in the perspective of modern society has a deadlock of argument and loses its relevance. The issue not only ends in the classification aspect, but it is more difficult to make perfect rules that can be followed to identify the types of muzakkar and muannats. The rules of muzakkar and muannats in the reference books of nahwu are not separated from a large number of exceptions. Therefore, the conclusion of the muzakkar and muannats theories in Arabic refers to the tradition of Arabic usage of a particular word, and empowering a complete encyclopedia of muzakkar and muannats rather than creating many rules that are unable to accommodate a general distinction between the two type of the word

Therefore, researches want to know about how to apply Arabic learning in accordance with the 2013 curriculum (revised 2017). This research was carried out at the MTs Al-Hidayah Tuban in VIII grade. This study uses qualitative descriptive analysis method to reveal the facts in the field about learning Arabic using the 2013 curriculum (revised 2017). In the process of data collection, interview and documentation to get detailed data on the 2013 curriculum (2017 revision) and the learning process of Arabic in class VIII. From this study, researchers found that learning Arabic using the 2013 curriculum (revised 2017) was going well. This can be seen from the making of the Arabic Languange Learning Plan is good, the learning process in the classroom has also runs smoothly as well as the problems of learning in the classroom that are able to be to be solved properly by the teacher

This study uses qualitative methods that emphasize the nature of research, data that comes from the reality in the field. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by observations, interviews and documents in collecting data to be able to find out more about the problem, so that a problem solving can be arranged in accordance with the needs of the respondents. This study uses purposive sampling, sampling taken with certain reasons. Sampling taken by researchers is students of college who never studied Arabic before entering the Sunan Ampel UIN Surabaya. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the application dictionary used by the teacher as a teaching companion from the book al-‘Arabiyah al-mu’â?irah.
