Subtitle in Teaching Pronunciation with Video
Get PDFVideo has been a tool to improve learning outcome, but many teachers do not apply the correct procedure in using video as the medium of teaching pronunciation. Pronunciation should have taken its fascination into classroom teaching learning. This research’s objective is to test the use of video’s subtitle in teaching pronunciation and its impact to students’ pronunciation. This research is quantitative study with design of true experiment post-test only. One group watches non subtitled video and the other watches subtitled video. The researcher has found that watching video only, with subtitle or no subtitle, does not improve students’ pronunciation. It is suggested that teacher may have to do another activity such as enhancement, repetition or scaling in teaching pronunciation rather than watching only
Validitas E-Comic Matematika Berbasis Pemecahan Masalah pada Materi Kesebangunan
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to obtain the validity of E-Comic based problem-solving in similarity material. This research is included in the development research with a quantitative approach using the ADDIE development paradigm, but just for three-stage: Analyze, Design, and Development. The instruments of data collection used the questionnaire validation and interview by experts. Based on the results of the validity test to media experts and material experts, it was concluded that the validity of mathematical e-comic based on problem-solving with similarity material reached a very valid with the average is 4,48 from a scale 1-5, so this e-comic media could be continued at the next ADDIE stage to fulfill practicality and effectiveness

Pengembangan Instrumen Tes Tertulis Seleksl Masuk STAIN Ponorogo Tahun Akademik 2010/2011
Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujiian untuk mengetahui kualitas instnimen tes tertulis seleksi masuk STAIN Ponorogo tahun akademi 2010/2011 yang meliputi: validitas tes, tingkat kesukaran tes, daya beda tes, analisis hasil validitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya heda tes. Pengambilan sampel dengan mengambil jumlah jawaban 10% dari jawaban seluruhnya. Hosil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa validitas dari tes tertulis ujian masuk STAIN Ponorogo tahun akademik 2010/2011 adalah analisis validitas tes tertulis pada PAI 17%, bahasa arab 53%, bahasa Inggris 15%, sedangkan pengetahuan umum 25%, hal ini menunjukkan validitas tes sangat rendah untuk tes masuk STAIN Ponorogo taKun akademik 2010/2011. Sedangkan Tingkat kesukaran PAI rata-rata 39% yang baik, bahasa arab 69%, bahasa inggris 51%, pengetahuan umum 46%, sedangkan daya beda yang baik untuk PAI 52%, bahasa arab 70%, bahasa inggris 37% , pengetahuan umum 49% 
Implementasi Supervisi Akademik dalam Peningkatan Kompetensi Pedagogik Guru
Get PDFKegiatan guru yang menyambung pada proses supervisi yang ada di sekolah yakni supervisi akademik. Supervisi akademik yang dilakukan kepala sekolah memberikan sebuah dorongan bagi kompetensi pedagogik guru terutama kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pelakasanaan supervisi akademik yang dilakukan kepala sekolah dengan peranannya sebagai supervisor sesuai dengan jadwal yakni setiap satu semester sekali dengan peran sebagai koordinator, pemimpin, konsultan dan evaluator. (2) Kompetensi pedagogik yang ditandai dengan penerapan indikator dari kompetensi pedagogik yang mana dari penguasaan karakteristik siswa, bahan materi ajar sesuai kurikulum, teori, menguasai proses pembelajaran dengan pemanfaatan teknologi dan melakukan refleksi serta melakukan penilaian dan evaluasi. (3) Dari hasil implementasi memunculkan implikasi pelaksanaan supervisi akademik dalam peningkatan kompetensi pedagogik guru terdapat peningkatan terhadap kompetensi pedagogik guru yang terbukti dengan hasil rekapan penilaian supervisi akademik

Get PDFLanguage development in early childhood is very important for the continuity of his life as a social creature. Incoming language skills have an aspect of early childhood development. This article seeks to discuss the development of speech-based children's language in theory by analyzing documented cases of published research results. The research method used is a library research with content analysis for the discussion technique. Source of data taken from secondary data from research results in thesis or online journals, then combined with several existing theories. Based on the results of the discussion obtained data that children with speech delay will experience language delays both in terms of articulation, sound, fluency and completeness of the preparation of the letters. Many factors as a trigger that is external and internal. Most of the cases that have external factors in the form of parenting are the dominant factors in children experiencing speech delay. Mild speechdelay children can recover with appropriate meode stimulation and selection, while children with medium and large speechdays need the help of experts (therapists) and medical personne

Get PDFThe background of this research is that gross motoric activities in schools are rarely carried out due to the limited facilities and infrastructure owned by the school. The solution to overcome this problem is the application of the hoop game tool. This study aims to determine the application of hulahoop playing tools as an effort to increase gross motor skills in group A children at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Bangun Pungging Mojokerto. The formulation of the problem in this study include: 1) How to apply the hoop game tool to improve gross motor skills in group A children in Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Bangun Pungging Mojokerto? 2) How to increase gross motor skills through hoop playing tools in group A children at Dharma Wanita Kindergarten Bangun Pungging Mojokerto? This type of research is classroom action research which aims to improve the quality of learning by using the Kemmis & Taggart spiral model action research. The study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle is held for three meetings. Each cycle consists of four stages: the planning, implementation, observation and reflection stages. The subjects in this study were children of group A totaling 17 students consisting of 8 male students and 9 female students. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the study can be explained as follows: 1) the application of the hoop game runs well in Cycle II. This can be seen in the results of observations of teacher activities in Cycle I, namely 80 (good) and in Cycle II it increased to 86.66 (very good). The results of observation of student activities in Cycle I were 75 (good) and in Cycle II it rose to 88.33 (very good). 2) increase in gross motor skills based on the average grade of the 59.70 (sufficient) pre cycle, in the cycle up to 69.70 (enough) and in Cycle II it increased to 91.47 (very good). Whereas gross motor percentage at pre cycle was 23.52% (Undeveloped), in Cycle I it was 52.94% (Start developing) and in Cycle II it increased significantly to 88.23% (Developing Very Good)

Get PDFThis study aims to determine students’ creative thinking skills to solve arithmetic progression and series with the open-ended method. The study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were three students of junior high school have high mathematical abilities. Data were collected by tests, interviews, field notes, and documentation. Data were analyzed using the triangulation method to gain a deeper understanding of the subject under study. The results of this study show that the student's ability to creative thinking because it meets three indicators of creative thinking, namely fluency, flexibility, and novelty. For the research conducted to get good results, the subject should find answers that can be categorized in creative thinking indicators in the form of novelty

Madrasah Al-Sun education institutions seemed to be a solution for all Arabic language teachers in Indonesia, because the Madrasah Al-Sun used a special strategy in its teaching, namely Uslub Al-Sun.
