    An Analysis Of Students' Speaking Difficulties at Eighth Grade Smpit At-Taqwa Surabaya

    The purpose of this study was to investigate the difficulties of students in speaking English. The researcher used a qualitative descriptive method in this study. The subjects of this study were eighth-grade students A and D SMPIT At-Taqwa 2018/2019 academic year consisting of 40 students and English teachers. Data collections of this study were observation, student questionnaires, and student and teacher interviews. The results of this study indicate that 25% of students have difficulty speaking English. The efforts made by students and teachers to overcome difficulties in speaking English such as: taking English tutoring, listening English songs, practicing reading, writing and speaking at home and school. They also communicate through social media with foreign citizens, joining English Camp, watching western movies or change film subtitles with English. Then the solution given by the teacher is an additional lesson hour to support students who felt difficult in speaking English

    The students’ thinking process when solving HOTS questions in mathematics National Examinations very necessary to know. There are three types of students’ thinking processes used in this study, namely conceptual thinking, semi-conceptual thinking, and computational thinking. This study aims to describe in detail about field-independent and field-dependent students' thinking process when solving HOTS questions in the 2018 Mathematics National Examination. The research subjects were six 8th grade students, consisting of 3 students on each cognitive style. Data collection techniques are written test and interview. The written test and interview results data are analyzed according to indicators of the thinking process.     Early childhood education is a children's educational institution that has the aim of learning to develop children's intelligence by using a variety of innovative learning programs. The purpose of this study was to find out how the development of an archipelago-based and international curriculum program in learning was implemented at Fastrack Funschool Yogyakarta. From the results of research conducted by researchers show that in the learning process applying the archipelago curriculum program uses learning with multiple intelligence methods, in which developing linguistic intelligence, logical mathematical intelligence, spatial visual intelligence, musical intelligence, kinesthetic intelligence, iterpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, natural intelligence, and, spiritual intelligence whereas in the international curriculum the learning model of seven habits of successful people includes being a proactive person, setting clear targets, working according to priorities, always thinking of profitable ways, trying to understand and then understanding, creating synergies, and always taking time to improve The ability of these multitude of intelligence and habituation is considered to be very effective in learning in early childhood education institutions at Fastrack Funschool Yogyakarta

    Profil Kompleksitas Soal Matematika Siswa Visualizer dan Verbalizer dalam Post Solution Problem-Posing

    This research aimed to describe the question complexity of the visualizer and verbalizer students in problem posing. The question complexity on problem posing is the complexity of the questions made by students by paying attention to some aspects, which are language variable, question complexity level, and students' creativity thinking level. This is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The subjects were two visualizer students and two verbalizer students from 11th grade of Al Falah Senior High School. Data collecting techniques are tests and interviews. Test and interview data were analyzed descriptively. In the final result, question complexity of the visualizer students tend on the language variable level is second (low), question complexity is easy, and the creative thinking level is third (creative). Whereas the verbalizer students tend on the language variable level is fourth (high), question complexity is high, and the creative thinking level is fourth (extremely creative)

    Improving Student Understanding on Theme 1 of Human and Environmental Subthemes Through Talking Stick Method Class V-B MI Wachid Hasjim Sidoarjo

    This research is motivated by the low level of understanding of VB grade students on Theme 1 of the Human Subtheme and the material environment about human motion organs. One reason is that learning on this theme, teachers use less varied methods. The number of students whose grades reached KKM 75 on the thematic material is only 25% of the total number of students. The alternative method chosen to overcome this problem is to use the talking stick method. The purpose of this study are: 1) to find out the application of the talking stick method to improve students' understanding of Theme 1 of the Human Subtheme and the classroom environment of MI Wachid Hasjim Sidoarjo. 2) Find out the increase in students' understanding of Theme 1 Subtheme of humans and the environment after the application of the talking stick method in VB MI Wachid Hasjim Sidoarjo class. The research method used in this study is the classroom action research (CAR) method using the Kurt Lewin model. Data collection techniques used in this study were interviews, observation, documentation, and tests. The results showed that: 1) the application of the talking stick method can be implemented well as evidenced by the results of the observation of teacher activity increased from a value of 79.3 (enough) in the first cycle increased to 91.4 (very good) in the second cycle. The results of observation of student activities get a final value of 78.8 (enough) in the first cycle increased to 94 (very good) in the second cycle. 2) The increase in students' understanding after applying the talking stick method increased from 25% of students who completed the pre-cycle, in the first cycle increased to 57.5% (enough) and in the second cycle increased to 80% (good)

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) beban kerja, kuantitas karyawan dan kinerja karyawan (2) besarnya beban kerja, kuantitas karyawan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Bangkalan khusunya pada bidang Pendidikan Madrasah (PENDMA), subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah seluruh karyawan yang ada di bidang Pendidikan Madrasah (PENDMA) Kantor Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Bangkalan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan observasi dan wawancara.Sedangkan untuk analisis data, peneliti berupaya untuk menggabungkan seluruh data yang didapat dengan teori yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja  yang berpengaruh negatif bagi kantor diantaranya kurangnya karyawan di kantor, perencanaan tenaga kerja yang kurang baik, memberikan pekerjaan secara berlebihan terhadap karyawan, dan buruknya pengelolaan SDM

    Penelitian ini mengangkat judul tentang Sistem Rekrutmen Guru dalam Peningkatan Mutu Lembaga Pendidikan Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah 1 Krian Sidoarjo yang dilatar belakangi oleh adanya sistem rekrutmen mencari guru yang berkualitas dan kompeten untuk meningkatkan mutu lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisa sistem rekrutmen guru di Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah 1 Krian Sidoarjo, dan meningkatkan mutu lembaga pendidikan melalui sistem rekrutmen guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dilapangan menunjukkan bahwa sistem rekrutmen guru di Sekolah Dasar Muhammadiyah 1 Krian Sidoarjo yaitu terdapat tahapan-tahapan yang ditentukan oleh sekolah. Tahap-tahapannya yaitu tahap administrasi, tes tertulis dan wawancara. Ada juga tahapan lainnya yaitu baca tulis Al-Qur’an dan micro teaching. Dalam hal ini maka sekolah akan mencari guru yang berkualitas dan kompeten untuk meningkatkan mutu lembaga pendidikan

    This research aims at investigatingthe implementation of flipped classroom in CALLclass and how it can improve students’ learning autonomy. This research is a case study. The data gathering techniques used in this study were interviews, observations, and questionnaire and it employed descriptive analysis technique. The result showed that the flipped classroom in CALL class was divided into two main category, namely inside and outside class activities. The study also revealed that flipped classroom promoted students’ learning autonomy in six aspects, namely helping the students determine their learning objectives, define the content and progression, select the methods and techniques to be used, monitor the procedure of their learning strategy, evaluate what they had acquired, and prepare themselves to become teachers

    Low ability of students in understanding the vocabulary of Arabic one of them due to improper use of learning media. Similarly, in the fourth grader Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh, that is, there are many daily results of the Arabic language vocabulary students who are below average. Therefore, it is necessary to test the media that is deemed interesting for the students that is audio visual media. The purpose of this research is to uncover the influence of the use of audio visual media to the outcome of learning vocabulary Arabic in class four at Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with the quasi-experimentation approach, the population of this research is the fourth graders at Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh. Researchers took them as samples using the total sampling technique, since the fourth class consisted of two classes, namely fourth grade A and fourth grade B. Learning in experimental classes using audio visual media, while the control class without using media. The result of this study is that audio visual media can affect the learning of the language Mufradat Arabic positively to students in Islamic Elementary School Parambahan Lampasi Payakumbuh. &nbsp

    Suksesnya program-program yang dilaksanakan di madrasah, salah satunya program pembelajaran berbasis SKS yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian siswa dalam belajar dan meningkatkan prestasinya. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan cara pengumpulan data: wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MAN 1 Mojokerto. Hasil penelitian, Pertama, konsep sistem kredit semester yang di dalamnya menjelaskan langkah-langkah, tujuan, peraturan serta struktur organisasi SKS. Kedua, penerapan pembelajaran berbasis sistem kredit semester yang di dalamnya menjelaskan sosialisasi kepada wali murid dengan menunjukkan bukti seperti SK bahwa madrasah benar menerapkan pembelajaran berbasis SKS, tugas pembimbing akademik / wali kelas, rasio SDM serta fasilitas yang merata. Ketiga, pengelolaan pembelajaran berbasis sistem kredit semester dalam meningkatkan prestasi siswa yang di dalamnya menjelaskan peningkatan prestasi siswa dari tahun ke tahun, cara mengevaluasi prestasi siswa dan evaluasi pengelolaan pembelajaran SKS di MAN 1 Mojokerto
