Enhancing Speaking Proficiency by Adapting Grammar- Translation Method And Electronic Dictionary For Young Learners
The young learners are very potential to grow their knowledge earlier. By having sufficient knowledge in their heads, they have a great opportunity to develop any other knowledge. English, however, is an important language in the world. By using English, the students could know more about anything. There are many kinds of method used by teachers to teach young learners to speak English. The teacher is often trying very hard to bring the students into a learning atmosphere. Indeed, Both the teacher and students want to get the expected goal. On the other hand, the condition turns to be uneasy when the students are reluctant to respond to their teacher’s questions as feedback. It is an important part for the teacher to find another method to help students active. Moreover, vocabulary building is an essential part of delivering the intention to others. By having enough vocabulary list in the students’ head, it would ease them to choose the right words to convey. Hence, the use of an electronics dictionary could satisfy the students’ needs. By implementing it while learning grammar and reading, the students could better their vocabulary and pronunciation skills to conduct speaking

The difficulties in learning maharah kalam at the level of suprsegmental phonemes are found when students learn Arabic. Intonation errors, stress, and pausing. Therefore, this research was conducted to find out these mistakes and the solutions given by teacher in SMP Muhammadiyah 4 Surabaya. This research is a qualitative descriptive with the population of 8th grade student and the sampling is 8th grade C. Data collection techniques used in this research are using the method of observation, interview and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques used aredata reduction, data display, and data verification. The results showed: 1) errors in word stress were 49 errors; 2) errors in intonation were 30 errors; 3) errors at pauses were 55 errors. The solutions given by teacher with these mistakes were: 1) instructing students to repeat the dialogue to use the right intonation, stress, dan pause; 2) translating the text of theconversation and students writing the translation in their books, then the students will better understand the difference in meaning from the differences in intonation, stress, dan pause; 3) the teacher gives examples of the correct pronounciation of words according to the right intonation, stress, and pause
Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Darul Hikmah (SIDH) Berbasis Android
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan Pengembangan Sistem Informasi Darul Hikmah (Sidh) Berbasis Android Di Mts Darul Hikmah Prasung Buduran Sidoarjo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan penelitian pengembangan dalam bentuk metode Design and Creation. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam skripsi ini dilakukan dengan cara: 1) Observasi 2) Dokumentasi 3) Wawancara 4) Pembuatan aplikasi 5) Study Pustaka. Wawancara dilakukan dengan Kepala Sekolah, beberapa guru, dan beberapa peserta didik. Hal ini guna mendapatkan informasi yang dibutuhkan. Membantu MTs Darul Hikmah Sidoarjo dalam pengolahan data khususnya administrasi dan mempercepat pencarian data serta memberikan kemudahan dalam pembuatan laporan data siswa, data guru, data kelas, data jadwal pelajaran siswa, data nilai siswa, data rekap absensi siswa, data kurikulum Data hasil penelitian ini, diharapkan bisa memberikan masukan kepada Kepala Sekolah untuk senantiasa menumbuhkan komitmen bersama kepada berbagai pihak di sekolah dalam pengembangan system informasi sekolah berbasis android
Google class in ELT: A study of Student's Responses in English for Nutrition
Google classroom (GC) is one of the best platforms produced by Google that has some purposes for education, especially in teaching and learning process. In S1 Nutrition department, the application of Google Classroom is still rarely used and still few lecturers of Nahdlatul Ulama University of Surabaya use this application maximally for teaching any courses, including in teaching English. This research aims to find out the students’ responses of using GC in English Class of nutrition profession. This paper also presents GC features and the benefits of using it. The participants have had some experiences in using it. The participants are 37 students from three classes chosen through random sampling. The data was collected through questionnaire survey from the students’ responses. The data then was analyzed qualitatively. The results presented that from statement 1-10, only statement 1 (GC can accommodate e-learning) and statement 9 (GC is easy to use) which have reached 64,9% (Agree). The lowest percentage was 45,9% (GC is as a character building). They agreed that GC has many benefits and the priorities of benefit to accommodate e-learning and easy to use. However, it still needs to be explored further of the directly impact to the students for building their character
Number Sense Siswa dalam Pemecahan Masalah Matematika Ditinjau dari Gaya Kognitif Verbalizer
This study aims to describe the student's number sense in solving math problems in terms of the verbalizer's cognitive style. This is qualitative research, with research instruments are cognitive style tests, problem-solving tests, and interview guides. The results showed that (1) at the reading and thinking stage, the students' could identify questions and explain mathematical terms and numbers in the questions appropriately, (2) at the exploring and planning stage, the students' could determine the steps to take from solving the problem through an example, (3) at the phase of choosing a strategy, the students' could find the relationship between the numbers in the matter and state the appropriate formula to solve the problem, (4) in the search for answers, the students' could perform mental calculations and estimate calculations in the form of root prediction and rounding of numbers with accuracy, and (5) at the reflecting and expanding stage, the students wrote the final result of the answer in detail and wrote the conclusions on each calculation result obtained, and corrected again the results of his work
Implementasi Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Dan Administrasi Guru Agama (Siaga) dalam Meningkatkan Pelayanan Administratif di Seksi Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAIS) Kementerian Agama Kabupaten Lamongan
Sistem informasi administrasi guru agama (SIAGA) merupakan sistem informasi manajemen atau aplikasi yang digunakan untuk mendata keberadaan guru agama dari tingkat TK sampai SMA/SMK atau lembaga pendidikan yang bernaungan dibawah KEMDIKBUD yang dalam hal ini khusus untuk guru pendidikan agama diambil oleh atau diatur oleh Kementrian Agama. Yang mana berfungsi untuk mendata seluruh guru pendidikan agama kemudian merekrutnya dengan memberangkatkan untuk pendidikan profesi guru (PPG) guna menjadi guru yang profesional (sertifikasi) sampai proses pendapatan tunjangan profesi guru (TPG). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi aplikasi SIAGA dalam meningkatkan pelayanan administratif di seksi pendidikan agama islam kementrian agama kabupaten Lamongan. Rumusan masalah dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana implementasi aplikasi SIAGA dalam membantu meningkatkan layanan administrasi bagi guru agam islam mulai dari jenjang TK sampai SMA khusunya di wilayah kabupaten Lamongan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diteliti dalam penelitian ini melalui 3 tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SIAGA sebagai basis pangkalan data guru pendidikan agama islam telah mampu digunakan secara maksimal meski masih ada data yang belum tercover di dalamnya. Dan penggunaan SIAGA harus memiliki koneksi dengan internet
Pengaruh Penerapan Metode Pembelajaran Lattice Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Peserta Didik
This study aimed to determine the effect of lattice learning methods on mathematics learning outcomes on the integer multiplication operation for the grade VII students of SMPN 2 Bua. This is a pre-experimental research design that uses a one-group pretest-posttest research design type. The instrument used a description test consist of 3 questions. The samples were students of class VII A of SMPN 2 Bua. The analysis result of the two-tailed curve, Ha was accepted, and Ho was rejected. The conclusion was a significant influence on the lattice learning method on mathematics learning outcomes in the integer for grade VII students of SMPN 2 Bua. So, a successful student not only by learning theory but also by the right learning methods. The results of this study will be able to help teachers to improve student learning outcomes

Translation is involved in human’s activity and social development and it is an international communication tool between people of different languages and cultures. The Arabs have been aware of the art of translation since ancient times. The Qur'an has discussed on the fact that people are created differently in races, ethnics, languages and customs. Translations are not exclusive to a linguistic activity based on what is said, or what is written, it also includes a complex epistemic and linguistic work. Translations are effective in spreading cultures and civilisation. Arabic language is the identity of those people who express their culture, combine their ideas, which is the indication of a nation's progress and deterioration. Translation is a link in a chain that begins with knowledge acquisition in the first language and ends with culture, through the construction of the intellectual system and the strengthening of its individual and social identity. From the above statement, we are confident that translation plays a vital role in the process of adaptation between different nations and civilizations, as this is still the most sucessful way to integrate one civilisation with another and vice versa; This has played an effective role in the progress of nations, and creates dialogues between different ideas, working to bridge the gap between different civilisations and nations, and strive to expand ideology and develop identity whilst preserving it from deterioration
Persepsi Mahasiswa tentang Penggunaan Media Daring pada Program Studi S1 Ilmu Gizi Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Surabaya selama Masa Pandemi Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19)
The impact of the covid-19 pandemic is not only felt in the world of health but also has an effect on the world of education This phenomenon makes educators use a variety of online learning media to meet cognitive, affective, and social needs during the learning policy from home. Various institutional and educational creativities use online media with different platforms to facilitate students. This study aims to explore information related to the type of media used by multiple platforms and students' perceptions of media that is liked and disliked. This research method uses a cross-sectional design with a sample of 104 respondents at various levels in the year of the S1 STIKes Surabaya Nutrition Study Program. The research results show that the type of media used includes Google classroom & meeting, Zoom, WhatsApp Group, Kahoot, Youtube, and Quizizz with the highest moodle media usage frequency of 43 and the lowest frequency of media usage of Quizezz by 2%. Students' perceptions of preferred and disliked media with the results of the top 3 most preferred media were WhatsApp Group at 41.7%, Zoom 28.2%, and Google classroom & meeting at 8.7%. The top 3 most disliked media are Zoom at 53.4%, Youtube at 15.6%, and Moodle at 12.6%
