    Penerapan Metode Demonstrasi pada Materi Perpindahan Panas untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas IV SDN Pucangtelu Lamongan

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran IPA materi perpindahan panas melalui metode demonstrasi di kelas IV SDN Pucangtelu. Penelitian ini merupakan Peneltian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari 4 tahap yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan observasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II berturut- turut sebesar 55.5% ke 83,3%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode demonstrasi  pada materi perpindahan panas dapat meningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Pucangtelu Lamongan

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab fokus penelitian mengenai implemntasi Manajemen Keuangan dalam Kebijakan Pendidikan Gratis. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatifdeskriptif. Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi langsung, wawancara mendalam, dan analisis dokumentasi. Peneliti menggunkan model Miles dan Huberman dalam melakukan analisis data, yaitu pengumpulan data, reduksi data, display data, dan kesimpulan/verifikasi data. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menyebutkan bahwa manajemen keuangan dijalankan sepenuhnya oleh pengasuh pondok pesantren dibantu dengan istrinya. Adapun kebijakan gratis yang dibuat oleh KH, Fahrudin Siswopranoto berjalan dengan lancar karena dari penghasilan yang lebih dari cukup itu dialokasikan untuk membiayai santri tanpa dipungut biaya sedikitpun. Faktor pendukung dalam melaksanakan manajemen keuangan yaitu dukungan dari keluarga besar pondok pesantren. Sedangkan untuk faktor penghambat yakni untuk masalah manajemen keuangan adalah ketika uang habis, dikarenakan keperluan yang melenceng dari rencana. Solusinya dengan menggadaikan surat-surat BPKB kendaraan dan diberlakukanya koperasi santri untuk perputaran keuangan

    The purpose of this research is to find out the teacher's strategy in dealing with delays in speaking disorders that affect the social interaction of early childhood. The research population is Surabaya State Kindergarten Students. This type of research is the field using data collection techniques such as observation, interviews. The results showed that the specific speech delay experienced by children in TK Negeri Pembina Surabaya was due to two factors, namely internal in children originating from parents' innate factors, and external factors due to lack of language stimulation from their parents. Although children experience delays in speaking, but the situation of children in TK Negeri Pembina Surabaya can still develop better and finally be able to follow the development of the language of other friends through a good teacher strategy as well

    Decoding Ability of Students with Visual Impairment under Systematic and Explicit Phonics Instruction

    This study discusses the decoding ability of students with visual impairment in a special need school under the implementation of systematic and explicit phonics instruction. The purpose of this study is to observe to what extent does the instruction help students with visual impairment in novice and mature alphabetic stage learn English word decoding. This qualitative study uses non-participant observation using unstructured fieldnotes and loosely-structured interview to obtain verbal data from 1 teacher and 4 students in four meetings of classroom observation. All of the students are visually impaired whom divided into two big groups. 2 of the students belong to mature alphabetic stage and the other 2 students belong to novice alphabetic stage. The classroom being observed is an English extracurricular classroom in a school specialized for students with visual impairment. Although they are divided into two groups, they study together in a same classroom at once. The results derived from the observation and interview are (1) Students in novice alphabetic stage, although they have not memorized all of the alphabet’s name, they still are able to gain knowledge of English word decoding, (2) Students in mature alphabetic stage, for they have memorized all of the alphabet’s name, have an easier understanding and are able to cope with the instruction better and faster, (3) this kind of instruction could gain students confidence in reading English word even though they do not memorize the alphabet’s name, (4) Once the students are able to relate between the words’ shape and how it sounds, they start to build automaticity in building their understanding of English words decoding. This study concluded that with appropriate materials and instruction, students with visual impairment in novice and alphabetic stage could acquire the knowledge of how to sound English words.     This article was conducted to solve the problems faced by students regarding the difficulty of understanding Arabic text in class X textbooks. And applications are offered to solve these problems with the Mutarjim dictionary application which can help and make it easier for them to access Arabic vocabulary quickly and easily. The method used is descriptive qualitative, data obtained by interviews. Then data was collected which eventually found various problems. Departing from this problem, the data is analyzed so that it finds a solution for solve it. From the research results found a solution, namely by using the Mutarjim dictionary as a tool in translating Arabic text.     This study aims to investigate the improvement of thematic learning outcomes sub-themes “Playing in the School Environment” through Cooperative Learning Model Type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) in class II MI Darul Muta'allimin Sidoarjo. The research method was Classroom Action Research that used Kurt Lewin's model with 38 students of class II MI Darul Muta'allimin Sidoarjo as the research subject. This study was conducted in two learning cycles which included four stages: Planning, Acting, Observing, and Reflecting. The data were collected from interviews, tests, observation of teachers and students, and documentations. The results showed that the students’ learning outcomes can improve after the implementation of the Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) learning model with an average score from 50 to 82

    Learning Cycle (5E) model is a learning model that focuses on student-centered. In the effort of improving students' science process skills, this study used a Learning Cycle (5E) model. The research method used in this study is classroom action research by Kurt Lewin’s model which consists of two cycles and each cycle has 4 phases. This research was conducted at MI Al-Ahmad Krian Sidoarjo in grade IV-A with 28 students as a research subject. The data were collected from interviews, documentation, observation, test, and non-test (performances and products). The research instruments were teacher and student activity sheets, interview guidelines, question items, performance assessment rubric, and product assessment rubric. Based on the results, it showed that the implementation of the Learning Cycle (5E) was carried out well which can be seen from the increasing of the thematic subject on science process skills theme 2, subthemes 2 in meeting 1 after applying the Learning Cycle (5E) model. It can be seen from the increase in the percentage of students’ learning outcomes from 75% (enough) to 100% (excellent). The result also showed the improvement of the teacher and student activity. The teachers' activity increased from 77.9% (sufficient) in the first cycle to 91.6% (excellent) in the second cycle. Then, the students' activity increased from 76% (sufficient) in the first cycle to 90% (excellent) in the second cycle

    The Use of Numbered Heads Together to Improve The 10th Grade Students’ Reading Comprehension Achievement At Man 2 Lamongan

    Among four language skills which are listening, reading, speaking and writing, reading is one of the most significant skills to be mastered by students in all grades. Reading gives students immense input of knowledge and information through various texts. Nonetheless, in the classroom, reading activities are long considered as monotonous and not interesting. Therefore, it becomes an urge for the teachers to apply more interesting technique to teach reading. In response to that matter, the teacher can use Numbered Heads Together technique as an alternative technique in teaching reading. This study explores the implementation of Numbered Heads Together in teaching descriptive text and describe the students’ reading comprehension in the implementation of Numbered Heads Together. The subject of this study were students tenth graders of MAN 2 Lamongan. This study is a qualitative case study which was conducted in two meetings. In the first meeting, the teacher just taught the descriptive text without any techniques. In the next meeting, the teacher introduced the technique and applied it in the class. The data of this study were collected from the result of the students’ task. The result of this study shows that the implementation of Numbered Heads Together assisted the students to engage actively in the whole process of learning. After using this technique, the number of students who got good achievement increased. It means that the students’ reading comprehension is improved after the implementation of NHT. In conclusion, NHT is a good technique to be used in teaching descriptive text, especially for the tenth grade students, since it helps them to overcome their difficulties in reading, creates a positive atmosphere in the class, and builds a good interaction for both the teachers and students.     The purpose of this research is to describe the results of the exploration of ethnomathematics of Sasak culture that can be used as a source of learning mathematics. This type of research is exploratory qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. This research focuses on buildings, crafts, arts, and traditional snacks. The research instrument is the researcher himself. While the method of data collection by interview, field studies, and documentation. Data analysis techniques with triangulation are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Sasak cultural products can be used as a source of learning mathematics, especially on the elements of geometry including rectangles, triangles, trapezoid, circles, rhombus, laying-kites, cones, cylinders, and pyramid. Learning resources derived from Sasak culture, if properly utilized, will create meaningful mathematics learning for students

    The majority of Eighth grade students at Sunan Kali Jaga Islamic High School Surabaya are weak in our Islamic scholarship. They have difficulty in composing sentences in accordance with the correct rules of writing Arabic. This study aims to determine how effective the use of the game "Fairy Tale Chains" to improve the maharah of students of the eighth grade of Sunan Kali Jaga Islamic High School Surabaya. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method using data collection methods consists of methods of observation? tests? interviews? and documents by taking a sample of 40 eighth grade students of Sunan Kali Jaga Islamic High School Surabaya. From this research it can be seen that there is an increase in our students' happiness after applying the game "Fairy Tale Chains". with the analysis obtained with the t-test: t_0 the result is 16.29 and tt is 1.699 because t_0 is greater than tt then the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is acceptable
