The Implementation Of Steller Application In Learning Writing Descriptive Text
This study aims to investigate of implementation of Steller application to improve students’ writing Descriptive text and students’ responses about Steller application in writing Descriptive text. This study employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) method proposed by Kemmis and McTaggart (1998, cited in Burns, 2009). This research consisted of two cycles and each cycle consisted of four steps, they were: planning, actin, observation, and reflection. Each cycle was conducted in two meetings. To collect and analyze the data, the researcher used observation, questionnaire, and test. The result of this research shows that using Steller application in learning writing Descriptive text can improve students’ writing Descriptive text. The improvement of students’ writing Descriptive text also supported by the achievement of students’ test score. The students’ mean score of pre cycle test was 63.32, the mean score of test in cycle 1 was 73.58 and the mean score of test in cycle 2 was 79.19. it means that score test of cycle 1 was higher than pre cycle test and score test of cycle 2 was higher than mean score of test in cycle 1. The students’ responses showed that they were interested in learning writing Descriptive txt, because it was easier for them to write, it increased their motivation in learning, and Steller application game the students easy steps to write Descriptive text. Therefore it can be concluded that the implantation of Steller application improves students’ writing Descriptive text significantly at tenth grade of SMA Pasundan Cikalongkulon Cianjur
The Use of Online Authentic Reading Materials In Online Reading Class
Abstract. Education in Indonesia, as the large-scale power of the has to be compelled the continuity of teaching activities during the COVID-19 pandemic online learning. It inspires teachers to choose a suitable material to fulfill students’ needs and interests in teaching language. The appropriateness and well chosen authentic materials used by teachers in a context of reading have to cover meaningful content in which those are relevant. Thus, this study attempts to investigate those authenticity used as well as teachers’ challenges in implementing online authentic reading materials in online reading class of higher education. The study is a qualitative. The subjects are three EFL teachers of higher education that teach General English and English for Specific Purposes freshmen for two semesters. The data collection techniques are observation and interview. In analyzing the data, this study uses Ary et al. (2010) theory: familiarizing and organizing; coding and reduction; interpreting and representing. The findings revealed that authenticity is considered as the pivotal thing since, in this case, English is taught as foreign language. The authentic materials can be said its prevalence by measuring each authenticity based on three areas including SLA (Second Language Acquisition), language pedagogy and ICT (Information and Communication Technology). It could establish the applied authenticity to the language learning design materials, especially learning English language. Factors Influencing Students’ Well-being on Educational Outcomes in the Indonesian Railway Polytechnic
Students’ well-being among Indonesian scholars might be still unpopular as this topic could lead to a blundered result in a certain area of disciplines. Yet, this topic is essential to reveal as it can be one of the indicators which can be taken into account on measuring the workload of students enrolling in this state-owned institution. Not only that, but this also might be an eminent output indicator for the quality of education specifically on educational outcomes. The instruments occupied in this study were interviews and surveys. Students and alumni of the polytechnic were asked to participate in this study and several key figures as well. This study applied a mixed-method research design, which is commonly accepted as there are both qualitative and quantitative parts combined in the study. The results showed that the quality of student well-being in an emotional, social, and school dimension of student PPIM is relatively at a good level. Hence, with the tight schedule and tough physical activity, the institution should pay attention to a psychological aspect
Students’ Perceptions of Hybrid Learning in The Face-To-Face Meeting System (PTM) Limited to Science Lesson at The MTs Level
This study aims to determine students' perceptions of learning Hybrid Learning in the Limited PTM System in Science Subjects Class IX at the SMP/MTs level. The research method uses descriptive qualitative methods. The data in the study were in the form of a questionnaire with 14 questions to students. The data analysis technique in this qualitative research is using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. One of the advantages of implementing Hybrid learning is being able to improve students' cognitive learning outcomes. However, in limited PTM the problem faced by students is limited student social interaction, students have difficulty understanding the material. So, among the weaknesses in limited PTM it is assumed that Hybrid Learning is able to overcome problems that occur when PTM is limited. So, it is important to do this research. The results of this study namely students' perceptions of Hybrid Learning learning that Hybrid Learning makes it easier for students to understand the material, students feel happy when learning Hybrid Learning because they can communicate directly both with teachers and with friends. So, it can be concluded that students' perceptions of Hybrid Learning give a positive response
Gaya Kepemimpinan dalam Menghadapi Era Society 5.0
Kepemimpinan akan selalu berubah sesuai dengan zamannya termasuk dalam memimpin di era society 5.0. Kepemimpinan adalah seni dalam mengajak serta menggerakkan orang lain untuk bekerja dalam mencapai sasaran. Gaya kepemimpinan ada 4 yakni gaya kepemimpinan autoritarian/direktif/otoriter/otokratis, gaya kepemimpinan demokratis, gaya kepemimpinan pseudo demokratis, gaya kepemimpinan laissez faire. Era Society 5.0 merupakan sebuah masa di mana masyarakat berpusat sistem yang diintegrasikan secara online dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan sosial serta menyeimbangkan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Manusia yang unggul di era society 5.0 harus memiliki 4 kompetensi yaitu Leadership, Language skills, IT Literacy, dan Writing skills. Pada era society 5.0 ini sebaiknya menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan demokratis yang di pasdukan denga gaya kepemimpinan laissez faire hal ini dikarenakan dalam masyarakat society 5.0 mereka telah memiliki pengetahuan dan pendidikan bukan seperti masyarakat pada zaman dahulu yang berpendidikan rendah yang lebih baik menggunakan gaya kepemimpinan autoritarian atau otoriter karena mereka belum tentu memikirkan dan memahami situasi dan permasalahan
Pembelajaran Daring Ma’had Jami’ah Al-Fithrah di Tengah Wabah Covid-19
Pademi covid-19 telah mengganggu proses pembelajaran secara konvensional. Maka diperlukan solusi untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut. Pembelajaran secara daring adalah salah satu alternatif yang dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran pelaksanaan pembelajaran daring di Ma’had Jamiyah Al-fithrah sebagai upaya menekan penyebaran covid-19 di Perguruan Tinggi. Subjek penelitian adalah santri di Ma’had Jamiyah. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara melalui zoom cloud meeting. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Santri telah memiliki fasilitas-fasilitas dasar yang dibutuhkan untuk mengikuti pembelajaran daring; (2) pembelajaran daring memiliki fleksibilitas dalam pelaksanaannya dan mampu mendorong munculnya kemandirian belajar dan motivasi untuk lebih aktif dalam belajar; dan (3) pembelajaran jarak jauh mendorong munculnya perilaku social distancing dan meminimalisir munculnya keramaian mahasiswa sehingga dianggap dapat mengurangi potensi penyebaran Covid-19 di lingkungan Ma’had Jamiyah. Lemahnya pengawasan terhadap santri, kurang kuatnya sinyal di daerah pelosok, dan mahalnya biaya kuota adalah tantangan tersendiri dalam pembelajaran daring. Meningkatkan kemandirian belajar, minat dan motivasi, keberanian mengemukakan gagasan dan pertanyaan adalah keutungan lain dari pembelajaran daring
Manajemen Pembelajaran dalam Meningkatkan Kreativitas Guru di Satuan Paud Sejenis (SPS) Puspa Giri II Dahanrejo Gresik
Manajemen merupakan gabungan antara ilmu dan seni yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pengawasan, pengarahan pada suatu organisasi dengan mengoptimalkan sumberdaya yang dimiliki capaian tujuan dan sasaran organisasi pada semua jenjang pendidikan. Adapun manajemen pembelajaran adalah kemampuan dan ketrampilan guru dalam menciptakan suasana proses belajar mengajar yang kondusif dan mengendalikan segala gangguan ketika pembelajaran berlangsung. Riset ini merupakan jenis riset deskriptif kualitatif, dengan subyek penelitian kepala SPS Puspa Giri II Dahanrejo dan semua guru. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi, dengan analisis data dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun tujuannya ingin mendeskripsikan: (1) kegiatan manajemen pembelajaran di SPS Puspa Giri II Dahanrejo Gresik; (2) kreativitas guru di SPS Puspa Giri II Dahanrejo Gresik; (3) manajemen pembelajaran di SPS Puspa Giri II Dahanrejo Gresik untuk meningkatkan kreativitas pendidik ketika mengajar. Dari data yang telah diolah, diperoleh hasil bahwa (1) manajemen pembelajaran yang terlaksana di SPS Puspa Giri II Dahanrejo Gresik telah sesuai dengan teori manajemen yaitu guru menyusun perencanaan pembelajaran sebelum mengajar, mengorganisasikan pembelajaran dengan menata lingkungan bermain dan pengelolaan kelas, melaksanakan pembelajaran dikelas atau luar kelas berdasarkan RPPH, mengawasi pembelajaran untuk membe
rikan penilaian secara otentik kepada siswa, dan terakhir mengevaluasi pembelajaran untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran selanjutnya. (2) Berdasarkan hasil observasi secara umum guru-guru telah melaksanakan pembelajaran yang kreatif agar siswa memiliki antusias ketika proses belajar mengajar berlangsung, namun demikian masih terlihat beberapa guru yang belum memunculkan kreativitasnya sehingga perlu banyak latihan dan bimbingan dari kepada SPS. (3) Dengan terlaksananya manajemen pembelajaran di SPS Puspa Giri II Dahanrejo Gresik yang telah sesuai dengan teori tersebut menjadikan guru makin kreatif dalam pengajar karena ada kompetisi sehat agar para guru tidak mendapat penilaian buruk dari kepala SPS dan siswa selalu antusias walaupun masih tetap ada guru yang belum mampu menunjukkan kreativitasny

On average, children who have difficulty focusing, namely because the child lacks adequate rest, does not sleep enough, does not eat breakfast, does not understand the subject matter, has understood the lesson and does not feel challenged, lacks motivation from teachers and parents, is disturbed by the surrounding environment and does not match the given learning style. Alternatif Practice From Home saat Pandemi Covid-19 dalam Mata Kuliah Biologi Molekular: Desain-Primer Menggunakan PerlPrimer dan Primer-BLAST
The COVID-19 Pandemic has greatly impacted various sectors, one of sector which is the education sector. Education activity can be carried out by using online technology. These alternative activities can be channeled by carrying out a primer design using software PerPrimer and on the COI gene. Primer-BLAST The COI gene (cytochrome oxidase subunit I) is one of the genes in mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) that can be used for genetic markers to make it easier to study characteristics between species and individuals. The purpose of this research is to apply online technology in molecular biology learning using PerlPrimer software and Primer-BLAST feature on the NCBI site to find out how to get the best primary sequences. The method used to design primers and perform comparisons perlprimer by downloading fasta on the COI Diasporus diastema gene from GenBank: KT186586 which was selected in the NCBI database (The National Center for Biotechnology Information). The results obtained using Primer-BLAST feature on the NCBI site are more recommended to get the best primary design compared to using PerlPrimer software
