Penyelenggaraan Sistem Kredit Semester (SKS) di SMAN 1 Krian Sidoarjo
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penyelengaaraan Sistem Kredit Semester (SKS) di SMAN 1 Krian Sidoarjo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif. Metode dengan mengumpulkan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Informan penelitian yaitu Kepala Seksi SMA dan PKPLK cabang Dinas Pendidikan Jawa Timur wilayah Surabaya dan Sidoarjo, wakil kepala sekolah bagian kurikulum, tim pengembang SKS, siswa pembelajar cepat dan siswa pembelajar normal. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu implementasi SKS, Faktor Pendukung Penyelenggaraan SKS dan Faktor Penghambat Penyelenggaraan SKS di SMAN 1 Krian Sidoarjo. Temuan pada penelitian ini yaitu penyelenggaraan SKS SMAN 1 Krian Sidoarjo sudah berjalan dengan baik, meski ada beberapa prinsip penyelenggaraan SKS yang belum dipenuhi, seperti pengambilan mata pelajaran yang bisa dilakukan sendiri oleh siswa
Munâsabat al-Nuṣuṣ baina Kitab al-Muṭâla’ah al-Juz al-Awwal wa kitâb al-Lughah al-‘Arabiyyah li al-Mustawa al-Mubtadi’i Taḥta Naẓariyyah Rushdi Aḥmad Ṭu’aimah
Purpose- This research focuses on examining the text of Mutholaah book part 1 by Mahmud Yunus with the theory of Arabic textbooks as seen through Rusydi Ahmad Thuaimah.
Design/Methodology/Approach- The researcher applied a qualitative approach with the literature study method. The data used in this study is the content of Mutholaah book part 1 by Mahmud Yunus and the theory of Arabic textbooks as a language learning book from the perspective of Rusydi Ahmad Thuaimah.
Findings— The results illustrated that the content of Mutholaah book part 1 according to the theory of Arabic textbooks as a language learning book from the perspective of Rusydi Ahmad Thuaimah is evidenced by the presentation of relevant, light, and weighty material starting from voccabularies, tenses, and reading text.
Research Limitation/Implications- The researcher encountered problems in reviewing the theoretical points of the Arabic language learning book from the perspective of Rusydi Ahmad Thuaimah in Mutholaah book part 1, however, the researcher was able to solve it by literature study through several relevant books and journals
Completeness of Science Literature Elements in Class VII Science Literacy Assessment Instruments
This study was conducted with the aim of identifying the presentation of scientific literacy aspects in the scientific literacy assessment instrument for the seventh grade science material. This study uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The object of research in this study is the scientific literacy assessment instrument from the researcher Muftianah and Wahono (2018), and the researcher Arfianti (2015). The data collection technique used is literature study. The data analysis technique in this research uses content analysis. The results of the study indicate that aspects of scientific literacy have been presented well, although there is one aspect that has not been included in the scientific literacy instrument, namely the scientific process aspect. In the scientific literacy instrument for the two researchers, the aspect of scientific literacy that often appears is the aspect of science content. Thus, in measuring scientific literacy skills, all aspects of scientific literacy must be contained in scientific literacy instruments. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the aspect of scientific literacy, the two instruments that have been analyzed there is one aspect that has not been included in the scientific literacy instrument, namely the scientific process aspect. In the scientific literacy instrument of the two researchers, the aspect of scientific literacy that often appears is the aspect of science content. Thus, in measuring the ability of scientific literacy, all aspects of scientific literacy must be contained in scientific literacy instruments
Fungsi Pengawasan dalam Meningkatkan Kedisiplinan Guru di MTs Hasyim Asy’ari Bangsri Sukodono
Latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini dikarenakan sebuah fenomena yang terjadi pada MTs. Hasyim Asy’ari yaitu kurang optimalnya kinerja guru yang mengabdi disana. Guru seringkali kurang disiplin dalam melaksanakan tugasnya sebagai seorang pendidik. Walaupun tidak semuanya, namun hal ini tentunya akan sangat merugikan apabila tidak dioptimalkan dengan sebaik-baiknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran dari salah satu fungsi manajemen yaitu pengawasan yang ada di MTs. Hasyim Asy’ari Bangsri, Sukodono, Sidoarjo. Dengan adanya pengawasan, pihak kepala sekolah berharap akan mencapai keberhasilah khususnya dalam memantau kinerja guru yang berhubungan langsung dengan kualitas dan tingkat keberhasilan kegiatan belajar mengajar pada siswa. Landasan yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah pernyataan menurut Siagian, bahwa pengawasan merupakan salah satu fungsi manajemen yang paling penting dan harus dilakukan oleh seorang pimpinan dalam suatu usaha mencapai tujuan organisasi yang dipimpinnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode wawancara dan jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Fungsi utama evaluasi adalah menelaah suatu objek atau keadaan untuk mendapatkan informasi yang tepat sebagai dasar untuk untuk pengambilan keputusan. Seorang pimpinan sekolah harus jeli mengidentifikasi dan mengklasifikasikan permasalahan yang ada sehingga menjadi suatu skala priorotas pemecahan apalagi berhubungan dengan upaya peningkatan kinerja guru. Masalah-masalah yang muncul dalam upaya peningkatan kinerja guru di sekolah merupakan tantangan yang harus diselesaikan karena hal tersebut akan menjadi pelajaran yang berharga untuk mengambil keputusan di kemudian hari
Manajemen Kesiswaan dalam Meningkatan Kualitas Peserta Didik melalui Program Karya Tulis Ilmiah
Manajemen kesiswaan merupakan seluruh kegiatan pembinaan dan pengembangan peserta didik yang dilaksanakan secara kontinu untuk menumbuhkan bakat, minat, dan kemampuan peserta didik melalui kegiatan kurikuler dan ekstrakulikuler. Program karya tulis ilmiah merupakan salah satu program dalam ranah kesiswaan yang dibuat dan dijalankan untuk melatih dan mengembangkan para peserta didik dalam melaksanakan penelitian dan penulisan suatu karangan ilmiah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan: (1) Manajemen kesiswaan dalam implementasi program karya tulis ilmiah; (2) kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan program karya tulis ilmiah; dan (3) peningkatan kualitas peserta didik dengan adanya program karya tulis ilmiah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian lapangan (field research) atau penelitian kualitatif. Sasaran penelitian (subjek penelitian) ini adalah Kepala Madrasah, Wakil Kepala Madrasah Bidang Kesiswaan, dan guru yang menjadi pembimbing dan penguji Karya Tulis Ilmiah di MA Muhammadiyah 9 Lamongan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik analisis data Miles dan Huberman, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan simpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Manajemen kesiswaan dalam implementasi program karya tulis ilmiah terdiri dari empat tahap, yakni perencaaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengendalian program karya tulis ilmiah; (2) kendala yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan program karya tulis ilmiah diantaranya adalah faktor siswa, faktor pembimbing, dan faktor fasilitas madrasah; (3) peningkatan kualitas siswa dengan adanya program karya tulis ilmiah dapat dilihat dari pengembangan penalaran peserta didik, terbentuknya mental peserta didik, dan penguasaan teknologi oleh peserta didik
Urgensi Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini Dalam Perspektif Hadits di Masa Pandemi Coronavirus
Urgency Parents have an important role for Early Childhood Education especially with the covid outbreak so that children have to learn from home. This article aims to examine the urgency of Early Childhood Education education in the perspective of hadith, especially the hadith on the obligations of parents in educating children, which is associated with conditions in the era of the Coronavirus pandemi. Family is the first and foremost education for a person. Education in the family plays a role in developing character, personality, cultural values, religious and moral values, and simple skills. There is a physical distancing policy so that learning is carried out online (in a network) so that the role of parents is very urgent in ensuring the continuity of their children's education. is the responsibility of the parents; Second, the best gift parents give their children is a good education; Third, parents as the first and foremost madrasa, especially for early childhood, are responsible for their children's education
Enhancing Students’ Critical Thinking in Writing Through Group Investigation Strategy Assisted by Digital Story Board Media: A CLASSROOM ACTION RESEARCH
This research deals with classroom action research aiming to enhance students' critical thinking in writing through the application of group investigation strategies assisted by digital storyboard media. The study was carried out in cycles following Kemmis’ cycle process. The subjects of this study were 33 grade X students of SMA Al-Hikmah Medan in 2019/2020 academic year. The data were collected by employing observation, field-note and writing test. After completing the study, the result shows that the implementation of group investigation strategy assisted by digital story board media significantly improved students’ critical thinking in writing. This is represented by the increase of students’ writing achievement, students’ learning activities and teacher’s performance in teaching. In the first cycle, the number of students passing the standard qualifying of writing set by the school was only 13 students (39.39 %) and improved substantially in cycle two reaching 26 students (78.79 %). The students’ learning activity also progressed considerably as presented in the average score from 67.6% in cycle one to 86% in cycle two. Further, the improvement of teacher’ teaching performance between cycle one and cycle two achieved 23.36% or from 66% in cycle one to 89.36%
Profil Komunikasi Matematika Tulis Siswa SMP dalam Memecahkan Masalah Matematika Ditinjau dari Kepribadian Extrovert dan Introvert
Communication is important in mathematics learning. This study aims to describe the written mathematics communication profile of junior high school students in solving mathematics problems reviewed from extrovert-introvert personality. The subjects of this study consist of one introvert student and one extrovert student, while the instruments used were the Myers Briggs Type Indicators personality questionnaire, math ability tests, and written mathematics communication tests. The results of this study revealed that introvert student fulfilled the accuracy and completeness aspect at the stage of understanding the problems, devising a plan, and carrying out the plan. Meanwhile, the extrovert students fulfill the accuracy aspect only at the stage of understanding the problem. Besides that, extrovert students fulfill the completeness aspect at the stage of carrying out the plan and looking back. Introvert and extrovert students do not fulfill the fluency aspect. So that introvert students' written mathematics communication is better than extrovert students

Abstract
This research examines the application of Arabic learning strategies that are in accordance with the characteristics of students in the Arabic language education study program, Palopo State Islamic Institute. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of Arabic learning strategies in the Arabic language department of Palopo State Islamic Institute, as well as the lecturers' attention to the characteristics of students in implementing Arabic learning strategies in the Arabic language department of Palopo State Islamic Institute. The method used in this research is qualitative research methods. The data collection instruments in this study were observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that lecturers in implementing learning strategies in the Arabic language education study program at the Palopo State Islamic Institute pay attention to student characteristics. The Arabic learning strategies applied are very varied, such as the implementation of strategies in learning using audiovisual media using several strategies that are in accordance with the characteristics and abilities of students.

Abstrak
Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan strategi pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik pada program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palopo. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan strategi pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palopo, serta perhatian dosen terhadap karakteristik mahasiswa dalam menerapkan strategi pembelajaran bahasa Arab di Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palopo. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dosen dalam menerapkan dan memilih strategi pembelajaran pada program studi Pendidikan Bahasa Arab Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palopo sangat memperhatikan karakteristik dan latar belakang mahasiswa. Strategi pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang diterapkan sangat bervariasi, seperti penerapan strategi dalam pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media audiovisual dengan menggunakan beberapa strategi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kemampuan mahasiswa.

The establishment of PGMI Department in FTK State Islamic University of Sunan Ampel in conjunction with the arrival of assistance from AusAID called LAPIS PGMI. This institution plays an important role in laying the basis for the development of academic and management in PGMI Department which should help the department grew faster than others. However, PGMI Department faced with the problem in the development of Sciences and Mathematics that previously had not been carried out by any department in the university. As a new course, the technical and non technical assistance from LAPIS PGMI helps significantly in supporting the Sciences and Mathematics learning activities so that the course is never distorted in achieving its objectives by very reasonable delivering process. On the other hand, the management of approach to learning strategies that were administered to all stakeholders in PGMI department inspires them to be more active and productive in developing all learning activities. Their experiences become the basis for the development of the next period of learning. The students’ achievement in this course is in line with the achievement of objectives of other courses
