Pengaruh Kinerja Kepala Madrasah dan Kinerja Guru terhadap Mutu Pembelajaran pada Mts Swasta se-Kabupaten Bengkulu Selatan
Mutu pembelajaran merupakan cerminan prestasi sekolah dalam mempersiapkan sumber daya manusia dalam menghadapi persaingan global dunia pendidikan. Untuk itu diperlukan suatu kondisi yang mampu membawa perubahan dan pemberian motivasi kepada seluruh personil yang ada di madrasah untuk melakukan upaya ekstra dalam mencapai efektivitas kerja sesuai dengan tujuan pendidikan. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana gambaran empirik tentang pengaruh kinerja kepala madrasah dan kinerja guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran pada MTs Swasta sekabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kinerja kepala madrasah dan kinerja guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran pada MTs Swasta sekabupaten Bengkulu Selatan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode survey penjelasan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel diambil secara random 50 guru dari populasi sejumlah 130 guru. Lokasi penelitian ini dilakukan di MTs Swasta Bengkulu Selatan. Objek penelitiannya adalah guru. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa (1) Pengaruh kinerja kepala madrasah terhadap mutu pembelajaran termasuk kategori sangat baik (2) Pengauh kinerja guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran termasuk sangat baik (3) Pengaruh kinerja kepala madrasah dan kinerja guru terhadap mutu pembelajaran adalah sangat baik sebesar 47,6% dan sisanya 52,4% ditentukan oleh faktor lain. Rekomendasi: Untuk kepala madrasah pada MTs Swasta sekabupaten Bengkulu Selatan; (a) perlu peningkatan/pengembangan kegiatan yang dapat memotivasi pada peningkatan kinerja guru baik yang langsung terkait dengan pembelajaran maupun dengan yang lain yang dapat menunjang pada peningkatan mutu pembelajaran sebagai bagian dari pengembangan profesional guru; (b) perlu menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang terbuka terhadap berbagai perubahan yang terjadi di masyarakat
Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi terhadap Kedisiplinan Kerja Tenaga Honorer Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bengkalis
Abstrak
Penelitian ini terdiri dalam dua variabel yaitu budaya organiasi (X) dan kedisiplinan kerja tenaga honorer (Y). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pertama budaya organisasi Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bengkalis, kedua untuk mengetahui kedisiplinan kerja tenaga honorer Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bengkalis, ketiga untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kedisipilinan kerja tenaga honorer Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bengkalis. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Field Research dimana penelitiannya dilakukan dengan cara terjun langsung kelapangan untuk memperoleh data dan menganalisa data. Sedangkan pendekatan penelitian yang digunakanan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dimana untuk mendapatkan hasil diperoleh dengan analisa melalui SPSS sebagai pengukuran. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah tenaga honorer Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bengkalis. Objek penelitian ini adalah pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kedisipilinan kerja tenaga honorer Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bengkalis. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 56 tenaga honorer. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan datanya adalah dengan menggunakan angket dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa budaya organisasi sangat berpengaruh terhadap kedisiplian kerja tenaga honorer Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kabupaten Bengkalis, karena setelah diuji dari angket yang telah disebarkan selanjutnya diolah di SPSS menggunakan uji korelasi yang diperoleh nilai sebesar 0.714 yang berada pada rentang 0.70 – 0.90 yang berarti antara variabel X dan variabel Y terdapat korelasi yang tinggi. Sedangkan nilai signifikasi yang diperoleh sebesar 0.005, yang berarti ada pengaruh. Kata Kunci : Budaya Organisasi, Kedisiplinan Kerj
Kemampuan Pemahaman Konsep Matematis Siswa Kelas VII pada Materi Himpunan
This research is motivated by the low ability to understand mathematical concepts of students. The purpose of this study is to analyze the ability to understand mathematical concepts on the set material. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were 29 students of class VII-G MTs AL-Mukhtariyah Mande. Data collection techniques using written test techniques. Then the data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics, namely mean (average) and percentage. The results showed there were 20.7% of students in the high category, 41.4% of students in the medium category, and 37.9% of students in the low category. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that the ability to understand mathematical concepts of students in Class VII-G MTs Al-Mukhtariyah Mande is in the medium category
Pola Manajemen Kepala Sekolah SMA Kharisma Bangsa dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru dan Mutu Pendidikan
Peningkatan kinerja guru menjadi pilar utama dalam upaya meningkatkan mutu Pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pola atau bentuk manajemen kelapa sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dan mutu Pendidikan. Adapun masalah yang dibahas dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pola manajemen Kepala Sekolah SMA Kharisma Bangsa dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dan mutu pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu Kepala Sekolah dan Tim Manajemen Kharisma Bangsa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini reduksi data dan tringulasi sumber. Adapun hasil dalam penelitian ini yaitu Pola manajemen yang diterapkan oleh Kepala Sekolah SMA Kharisma Bangsa adalah perpaduan pendekatan manajemen buttom up dan top down. Secara umum manajemen kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dan mutu pendidikan sangat baik, hal tersebut tampak pada fungsi-fungsi manajemen yang telah diterapkan oleh kepala sekolah selaku pimpinan lembaga.

Tahlîlu Taghyîri Ma’nâ Kalimâti al-‘Arabiyyati Ilâ al-Indunîsiyyati fî Kitâbi Arkhabîla li al-Kalimâti al-Musta’ârati al-Arabiyyati al-Indunîsiyyati
Purpose-This research discusses about the change in the meaning of Arabic in Indonesian in Arabic-Indonesian absorption word book Arkhabil. The purpose of this research to know the changes the meaning of Arabic in Indonesian in Arabic-Indonesian absorption word book Arkhabil, the change factors and their forms.
Design/Methodology/Approach-This research is a library research and this research is a qualitative research. The analytical method used is the theory of Milles and Huberman.
Findings-The results of this researc indicate that in the arkhabil Arabic-Indonesian absorption word book, 83 (eightty three) Arabic vocabulary in Indonesian were found, namely those underwent changes. From 83 (eightty three) vocabulary words, the meaning changes were classified based on the theory, including 37 (thirty seven) vocabulary change in meaning widening, 29 (twenty nine) vocabulary change in meaning narrowed, and 17 (seventeen) vocabulary change in meaning totally.
Reseach Limitatio/ Implication-The limitation of the problem in this study focuses on changes in the meaning of Arabic words in Indonesian which are found in Arkhabil's book, Arabic-Indonesian absorption word
Penerapan Model Pakem Untuk Meningkatkan Keaktifan Siswa Dalam Pembelajaran Tematik Kelas V SDN kesilir 03 Kecamatan Wuluhan Jember
This study aims to determine the increase in the activeness of class V students at SDN Kesilir 03 Wuluhan, Jember Regency. In research using purposive sampling area technique. While the type and design of this research is research using classroom action research or (PTK). This research method uses a qualitative approach where this research focuses on processes and results that are highlighted in qualitative research. This theoretical foundation is used as a guide so that researchers focus more on data according to what is in the field. This study uses two cycles that will be used to determine the increase in student activity in thematic learning for class V. In research, the teacher's efforts are needed to assist students in improving learning so that it is in line with the school's vision and mission which wants to improve all existing learning at school. The research results obtained were maximized, that is, from the data obtained, it produced a large influence between the activities of the teacher and students who obtained value from the learning that was carried out. This study uses two cycles which carry out actions such as planning actions, implementing actions, observing, interviewing, reflecting which are very useful for determining the results of the research to be studied. The PAKEM model really needs to be done by the teacher because the PAKEM model is a fun, active, creative and effective learning model that is carried out to develop students' skills, attitudes and understanding and includes the use of the school environment so that learning is more interesting, effective and fun. The PAKEM learning model is in accordance with the learning in class V SDN 03 Kesilir. In applying the PAKEM learning model approach, the percentage increase in student learning outcomes that experience completeness has increased very well. This shows that the indicators of the success of this action research have been achieved.
Personality Competence and Pedagogical Competence of Pre-service English Teachers in Teaching Secondary Level Students
Since teachers' competencies have significant impacts on their teaching performance, Pre-service English Teachers (PETs) must hone teachers' competencies starting when they are student teachers, especially in teaching practice programs. Personality and pedagogical competence are two competencies that future educators have to develop in addition to social and professional competence. However, there are still few researchers who focus on these two competencies specifically for PETs. This study’s purpose is to look into the personality and pedagogical competence of PETs during their internship program at junior high and high schools. To garner the data, the researchers employed quantitative descriptive research with a survey technique. The data were analyzed quantitatively using SPSS version 26 for Windows. The findings find PETs earned mean scores of 89.57 for personality competence and 86.24 for pedagogical competence. It indicates that, in accordance with Ministry of National Education Regulation Number 16 of 2007, the PETs involved in this study met the requirements to become qualified teachers. They are highly competent in moral behavior and can serve as role models for their students in terms of personality competency, but they lack interest in being a teacher and have difficulties in being responsible and self-assured educators. Meanwhile, for their pedagogical competence, they are highly receptive to ideas and feedback to enhance learning, but they struggle to comprehend students and keep the classroom atmosphere conducive
Tathwîr Al-Mawâd Al-Ta’lîmiyah li Mahârah al-Istimâ’ al-Mustamidah min as-Saqâfah al-Mahalliyah ladâ Tholibât al-Jâmi’ah
Purpose- This study aims to develop teaching materials for listening skills based on local content, determine the level of validity of teaching materials, and measure the level of effectiveness of the developed teaching materials.
Design/Methodology/Approach- This study uses research and development methods based on the Borg and Gall model with special treatment from researchers. Sources of data from students, expert councils, and policy makers in Islamic boarding schools were obtained through observation, interviews, and tests. The data will then be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively simultaneously with interactive analysis and t-test. The subjects of this study were all female students of the intensive Arabic language program who were determined through a purposive technique, with a total of 25 samples.
Findings- Among the results of this study were the results of the pre-test reaching 1882 with a rate of 75.28, while in the post-test it reached 2045 with a rate of 82.16. The effectiveness of the developed material is seen at a score of 12.69 which is greater than the table score at the 2.80 level. Thus teaching materials developed based on local content are effective in improving the listening skills of female students of the intensive Arabic language program.
Research Limitation/Implications- The formal finding of this research is that teaching materials that are arranged thematically based on local content can improve Arabic listening skills for students
Exploring the Impact of Cultural Diversity on Teacher’s Nonverbal Communication
The ability to communicate between teachers and their students is the most crucial skill in teaching. That happens because the majority of activities in the class involve both verbal and nonverbal communication. Nonverbal communication improves the bond between a teacher and a student while also making nonverbal communication appear more natural and acceptable to the audience. Teacher nonverbal communication might be influenced by several factors, such as our cultural background. Hence, the current study is aimed to present the role of teacher nonverbal communication in cultural variation during the teaching process. This research widely explains the roles of cultural variation of teacher in nonverbal communication focusing on (1) What is a cultural variation? (2) What is a nonverbal communication and what are the possible challenges? (3) How cultural communication influences teacher nonverbal communication in the teaching process
Youtube Videos As Learning Media:A Review In EFL Contexts
YouTube has become one of the most visited social media globally. Its saturation in students' lives has triggered experiments and observations on the use of YouTube as learning media. This article discusses the use of YouTube videos to teach English language skills using George's literature review model. The databases for selecting the articles used as the data source in this study were Google scholar and ERIC. The relevant articles were published in reputable international journals and nationally accredited journals in the past ten years. Studies on the use of YouTube videos as a teaching medium indicate that using YouTube videos can improve students' listening, reading, speaking, and writing skills and solve their problems in mastering the skills. Furthermore, YouTube videos have been proven to help students solve their grammar difficulties and increase their vocabulary. YouTube videos are also agreed to have kept the students more interested, motivated, and enthusiastic towards English language learning. These results imply that relevant YouTube videos can provide good learning media for supporting students' learning of English as a Foreign Language
