Western scientific studies of the Qur’an have become a new trend and interesting object of research to the present. Many works were born by Western researchers who contributed to the development of Qur’anic studies in the Islamic world. Muslim scholars responded to Islamic studies in the West with various responses. Some accept and make it a new scientific discourse in Islam. But not a few also refused because they were told that the study contained certain motives behind it. Apart from the controversy, Islamic studies in the West continue to this day. Mining exploration ethic discourse is a thought initiation that is started to be explained since human activity has a global effect toward life. Epistimologically, Its concept is also a confromity initiation ecofenomenology-bassed ethic with qualitative analytical philosophy approach (methaetic). Since it’s related with the Qur’an, then, it added a thematic exegesis approach (maudhu’i), so its main idea revealed behind literal meaning and being equipped with scientic, academic, argumentative and proportional signs. The author in this paper observes that a well and Qur’anic-inline expolation behavior in mining occurs not on a coercon process, yet, based on conciousness of human intersependency sense. As a result, theofanic methaethic intentionality relation which is formulated into the mining exploration ethic in Qur’anic perspective has a harmonious, justice and synergetic mission, as a holistic and integralistic manifestation of humans role in explorating, utilizing, and protecting mining resources through out 6-i (six-i) formulation: istima’r/result orientation, iradah/independent, irtibâtha/connectivity, ihsan/preferable, itqan/optimistic danIltizam/ consistent

This article tries to parse various gender biases that are found in many things such as leadership, education, social, inheritance to the depiction of various facilities in heaven as if justified by Islam. Whereas the main error lies in the error in understanding the Qur’anic text which is less extensive and the error in perceiving the interpreters of the Qur’an which is predominantly made by men. It can’t be helped, the solution is to put the above problems proportionally by tracing the root of the problem, examining the principles of gender equality in the Qur’an, exploring various interpretive biases in all Islamic literature, and finally the importance of socializing understanding that is not gender bias towards various concepts in Islam. By using this methodology, it is hoped that understanding of gender bias can be minimized and avoided, giving birth to a form of understanding that is more just, equitable and equivalent, which benefits progressive understanding of Islam in the future. With this effort, it is hoped that this understanding will become the starting point for a new, gender-free understanding of Islam, not an understanding that always contains gender bias in it

The existence of Allah and His greatness can be known through two ways; first, through the path of revelation to His Messenger, This method, for example, happened to the Prophet Muhammad through the angel Gabriel and the concrete form is the verses of the Koran which are then referred to as verses of qauliyah. Second, through the path of thinking, pondering, and understanding phenomena that occur in the universe. From this phenomenon then humans realize that behind the beauty, features, greatness and so forth implied the existence of God Almighty, so that everything other than God can be called the universe, then this phenomenon is known as the Kauniyah verse. These two signs of God’s greatness are the theme of the study in this article, which is referred to in the Qur’an which commands many people to understand the meaning and interpretation contained in the Qur’an itself, besides calling on people to think and understand phenomena that occur in the universe which later became the interpretation of the verses of science that strengthened the existence of the Qur’an. Some circles have tried earnestly to uncover the scientific cues contained in the verses of kauniyah through their interpretations. However, the existence of scientific interpretations still reap the pros and cons among interpreters, so that some can accept it as a new development in the progress of interpretation of the Qur’an and some others still reject it with various arguments

This artilce elaborates the meaning of millah Ibrahim, which is, the Sh ar i’a(law) that has been revealed by the Allmighty to the Prophet Ibrahim, then, to be taught to His companions (ummah) and to be hold fast by His offsprings. the Ibrahim tawheedteaching is the meaning of millah Ibrahimthat has been mentioned in the Qur’an, so that all the samawireligions have the same basic teaching, called tawheed, however each of their prophets teach a different Shar i’a(law) between one and another. Such thing is reasonable, for each prophet is sent in different time, and the Sh ar i’ashould be adjusted according the condition of its ummah. It is no wonder wether the followers among the samawireligions conduct different religious activities one another. But, it can be confirmed that there is any previous messenger teaching which is still available for the recent time. From this, inevitability appears that in some Islamic legal system (Sh ar i’a/law) consists of previous one, which in this case is millah Ibrahim

This article criticizes Masdar Faried Masudi’s viewed that the implementation of the pilgrimage should not be done only once, ie 9 to 13 Dzulhijjah, but can be implemented for several times within a three-month span. The view is based on the many difficulties (masyaqqah) and several tragedies that occur during the Haj season because Muslims around the world run wukuf and throw jumrah at the same time and time. The argument proposed by Masdar is the timing of the three-month pilgrimage time and the coincidence of the implementation of the pilgrimage of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) which coincided with the 9th Dzulhijjah. After the author conducted an analysis of the hadiths of the Prophet about the pilgrimage, the Prophet’s statement that Hajj was the Arafah, not a coincidence but was one of the provision of Hajj, so that anyone who performs Hajj must be present at Arafah, otherwise the Haj is not valid. Attendance on Arafah also became consessus of agreement among the scholars. Second, the three-month period is indeed an area of ijtihad. Meanwhile the views of the scholars on the specificity of the Hajj on September 9-13, in addition to the direct practice of the Prophet, are also the takhsis (specifity) of the context of the pilgrimage towards the general perspective of Qur’an, thus having a reasoned consideration rational and theological that become stronger than just a scholar’s ijtihad (independent exertion of jurist in finding solutions

This article also describes as much detail as possible about 3 interpretations, namely theological, cultural, and logical interpretations as a design of modern interpretations that refer to scientific research methods. This proves that, the activity of interpreting the Koran is an activity that is scientifically and empirically accountable like applied sciences that require scientific reasoning

The interpretation of verses on gender and feminism in the Koran can be contextualized in accordance with the Koran’s ethical values. but in practice there are several gender approaches in the study of the Koran, thus Muslims tend to see feminism as something that comes from outside that must be responded to. In this case there are 3 groups; Anti-Feminism, arguing that the system of relations between men and women in society is in accordance with the teachings of Islam. Gender and feminism come from the west and are expected to damage the standard Islamic teachings.Pro feminism, which argued that women in general were in a discriminatory patriarchal society system that needs to be reconstructed. All teachings of feminism are congenial with Islamic values. The West is seen as a symbol of progress (modernity), so what comes from the west is considered good. The three groups that Accepting and Rejecting Selectively, this group tent objectify certain matters as what comes from the was can not be considered bad by default, so good things need to be taken. Even gender and feminism have experienced a plurality of streams, so that what is congenial with Islam is accepted and contrary with Islam is rejected. Therefore, it is necessary to reform the interpretation about gender relations that are textual and can be more contextual and harmonious with the ideal values  of the holy Koran that are just, egalitarian, and humane

This shows an attitude of openness to the dynamics of the development of contemporary science. Overall, it can be concluded that the academic interpretation in PTKIN no longer revolves around the theocentric-ideological or ideological-opportunistic reasoning area, but has shifted to the anthropocentric-dialectical region
