DISKURSUS TAFSIR MAQĀṢIDI
Maqasidi interpretation discourse as a form of response methodology of interpretation to the current situation faced. This response is considered as one of the efforts to synchronize religious teachings to the development and interpretation as well as social society. The explanation in this paper is descriptive as an effort to understand the existence as a maqasidi interpretation in the modern era. This means that maqasidi interpretation as a modern interpretation performs the construction of works of past or classical interpretation using interpretive methods that have developed in contemporary time
LATAR SOSIAL EKONOMI PERIODE MEKAH DALAM AL-QURAN
The socio-economic background of the Mecca period in the Qur\u27an influenced the attitudes, thoughts, and souls of Arab society at that time. The function of property as a basis for horizontal action is applied in various ways and purposes. This article concludes that worldly-oriented wealth can cause people\u27s minds and souls to lose their minds and morals. Excessive attitude towards wealth accompanied by worries of poverty can affect the attitude of ignoring other people and even God. The Qur\u27an describes the previous people who were destroyed in their morals because the function of property was not used properly. Assets can be used for macroeconomic management in solving crises and for the benefit of community welfare in the Mecca period
MILITER DALAM AL-QUR’AN (Relevansi Konsep Militer Nabi Muhammad SAW dan Implementasinya dalam Kepemimpinan Tentara Nasional Indonesia)
This article presents the leadership of Prophet Muhammad PBUH in the field of military that has relevance to the Indonesian National Army as reflected in his actions and behaviors, which are highly spirited, brave and intelligent, militant, strong and skilled and his role model as a perfect individual. In leading the military, Muhammad PBUH prioritized ethics in battles and efforts for self defense. This is different from, example the style of military leadership of Hitler and Genghis Khan who tended to use any means to materialize their ambition to control a region. The perspective of the Qur’an and hadith on the military ethics of the Prophet is found in several characteristics, among others: 1) obedient and loyal to Allah the God, His Messengers, leaders and the people; 2) Commitment by mutual agreement with other parties; 3) Defending the oppressed; 4) Not damaging public facilities; 5) Not damaging historical sites; 6) Not killing the elderly, children and the surrendered. The interpretation method used in this study is the method of maudhu’i interpretation and the historical-critical-contextual method. While the approach used is qualitative approach. KONTROVERSI EKSISTENSI FASHL DI ANTARA KOMPONEN IDHAFAH
The conclusion of this research is that the existence of fashl (separator) between mudhaf and mudhaf ilaîh contained in the qiraah of Ibn \u27Âmir is a way that is accommodated by one of the Arabic syntactic opinions. Specifically, because mudhâf and mudhâf ilaîh are manzilah syaî´ wâhid (one unit), the presence of fashl between the two is not allowed. However, the qiraah of Ibn ʻmir asy-Syâmî narrated fashl between mudhaf and mudhaf ilaîh where the transmission is valid and has the argument that fashl between mudhaf and mudhaf ilaîh can in fact be found in the kalam of the Arab

This paper explains two things. Firts, understanding about hermeneutics as a Qur’anic textual commentary method. Second, the usage of heurmenetics method by Muhammad al-Ghazali. Nusantara Tafsir is a must be maintained treasures, as always. It’s source of historical record of the country. Tafsir al-Azhar is one of the most important literatures from Nusantara scholars’ works that should be put into an analytical studies in order to gain its meaningful values. This research explains background, style, Hamka biography and some related isues of the tafsir. This article uses critical-descriptive approach which concludes that besides so many locality found in statement, event, example, and so on; melayu language is dominantly used in this Tafsir; more ever, modern sufism is quite a lot there in, so that its interpretation is in humanity style (adabi ijtima’i). Nusantara, since long time ago, has not only an overwhelming narutal resources, but also a high class human resources. Many Indonesian muslim scholars has an important role in the Arabian penninsula. They were well-known not only by their activities but also written relics. Their bodies must have been buried, but their work has always been read untill now. One the monumental work is in a kind of Tafsir in the begining of 17 century, many Tafsir literatures were started to come out written by Indonesian muslims scholars just like Faidh ar-Rahman by Kiyai Soleh Darat that tended to more brave in making a breakthrough which never exist before. It was an effort to translate the Qur’an into any language other than Arabic, in this case, translating it into Indonesian by using latin language. In muslims point of view, it was an unlawful / bid’ah activity, for Qur’anic translation effort was usually translated in to local languages using Arabic letter, called Pegon. Konsep Islam Moderat Dalam Al-Qur’an
The era of globalization which is expected to be the era of the formation of a community of ”groups”, apparently leaves many problems, including: First, the clash of civilizations between large human groups. Secondly, it creates uneven competition between large groups and small groups. Facing this reality, Muslims are required to be moderate. The question is how is the concept of moderation in accordance with the values of the Qur’an? Using a thematic interpretation method, this paper concludes that Muslim moderation must be able to integrate two different patterns of relationships; pattern of relationship with God and pattern of relationship with humans. Moderate cannot be interpreted as a hard attitude, or a very free understanding without limits. A true moderate attitude is able to bring about world peace, without violence and the goodness of the afterlife
Etika Sosial dalam Al-Qur’an
Qur’anic social ethic studies with a thematic exegesis approach (maudu’i) toward Surah An-Nahl/ 16: 90 seen as containing a complete social ethic. It consists of three aspects: al-‘Adl(justice), al-Ihsan (freferable), and itta’izil qurba (giving charity to family member). These are a obligation that must be applied in human social life. In the contrary, there are three prohibition: al-fahsya’ (heinous act), al-munkar (bad deed), and al-baghyu (unjust act). In its actualization and application, the three social ethics in many aspects emphasizes the principle of human equality brotherhood, knowing and helping each other. Moreever, social ethic character is the Qur’an which involves belief and dimension of worldly life and hereafter, it needs community life involvement in order to applies sence of togetherness, solidarity, and reduces social inequality and stratification
Jihad dalam Perspektif K.H. Ahmad Sanusi (Kajian Analisis Ayat-Ayat Peperangan dalam Tafsir Tamsyiyyah Al-Muslimin fi Kalami Robbi Al-‘Alamin)
This article describes the interpretation presented by K.H Ahmad Sanusi of several verses that explain about jihad (verses of war orders) in his commentary work Tamsyiyyah al-Muslimin fi Kalam Robbi al‘Alamin.The results of the study concluded that K.H Ahmad Sanusi interpreted verses about jihad as verses containing physical warfare orders with the aim of reviving or elevating the religion of Allah in a context limited to the time of war. K.H. Ahmad Sanusi lived during the two colonial periods, namely the Netherlands and Japan, which made his interpretation of jihad mean war against the Dutch and Japanese, because indeed at that time Indonesia was not yet independent and under Dutch occupation, which was continued with Japanese occupation. Although the interpretation of the verses of jihad does not include all verses in the Qur’an because of K.H. Ahmad Sanusi has not had time to finish his 30 Juz’ interpretation work, but his interpretation is still interesting as a study object, because the value of its locality that influences and contextualizes the time he lived. This is where, among others, differences in young interpretations with other masters
