    Peningkatan Kemampuan Operasi Hitung Nilai Uang pada Anak dengan Autisme melalui Penggunaan Aplikasi Quizizz

    Students with autism developmental challenges in communication, social interaction, and behavior due to neurological disorders. These aspects impact their understanding in classroom learning, including currency calculation proficiency. Assessment results identified two (2) eighth-grade (VIII) students with autism at SLB Doloksanggul having low currency calculation skills. This study aims to enhance teaching quality to improve these skills and assess if Quizizz application can elevate currency calculation abilities among autistic students. Subject selection involved specialized child identification tools and currency calculation assessments. The research employs a two-cycle (2) action research approach comprising planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observation and tests. Quantitative analysis, presented via percentage graphs, and qualitative descriptions from visual data, indicated improved proficiency following Quizizz intervention. Educators are encouraged to incorporate Quizizz to enhance classroom learning quality for students with autism.Siswa gangguan spektrum autis (GSA) mengalami permasalahan perkembangan pada aspek komunikasi, interaksi sosial dan prilaku akibat gangguan perkembangan neurologis. Aspek-aspek ini berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam belajar di kelas, salah satunya adalah kemampuan operasi hitung nilai uang. Hasil asesmen ditemukan dua (2) siswa GSA kelas VIII SLB Doloksanggul yang memiliki kemampuan operasi hitung nilai uang dalam kategori rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran yang diberikan guru dalam peningkatan kemampuan operasi hitung nilai uang dan membuktikan apakah kemampuan operasi hitung nilai mata uang dapat meningkat melalui aplikasi quizizz pada siswa autisme. Pemilihan subjek dilakukan dengan alat identifikasi anak berkebutuhan khusus dan asesmen kemampuan operasi hitung nilai uang. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian tindakam kelas sebanyak dua (2) siklus, terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Data dikumpulan dengan observasi dan tes. Observasi dilakukan oleh observer untuk mengamati aktivitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru (peneliti) kepada siswa terkait materi operasi hitung nilai uang. Tes dilakukan untuk melihat kemampuan siswa dalam mengerjakan soal setelah diberikan pembelajaran melalui aplikasi quizizz. Data dianalisis secara kuantitatif yang divisualkan melalui grafik persentase kemampuan siswa pada setiap siklus dan kualitataif berupa deskripsi dari grafik visual terkait hasil kemampuan siswa dan aktivitas pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan operasi hitung nilai uang setelah diterapkan pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi quizizz. Disarankan bagi guru agar menjadikan pembelajaran dengan aplikasi quizizz sebagai suatu usaha dalam memperbaiki kualitas pembelajaran di kelas

    The focus of this research is the influence of economic education in the family, economic literacy, and student lifestyle on student consumptive behaviour. The research uses a quantitative approach. The subject of this study is higher school students. Data analysis technique using path analysis. The population is 1,204 students, and the research sample is 300 students by determining proportional random sampling. The study results show that family economic education and economic literacy influence consumptive behaviour variables. Family economic education and consumptive behaviour affect lifestyle. Economic literacy has no significant effect but has a positive value on lifestyle. Family economic education influences consumptive behaviour toward lifestyle. Economic literacy influences consumptive behaviour toward lifestyle  Fokus yang menjadi tujuan penelitian ini yaitu pengaruh yang diberikan oleh pendidikan ekonomi pada keluarga, literasi ekonomi yang dimiliki, juga gaya hidup mahasiswa pada perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan kuantitatif dan ditujukan kepada mahasiswa manajemen STIE PGRI Dewantara Jombang angkatan 2019–2022. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur. Populasi sebanyak 1.204 mahasiswa dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 300 mahasiswa dengan penentuan proporsionate random sampling. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa, pendidikan ekonomi keluarga dan literasi ekonomi memengaruhi variabel perilaku konsumtif. Pendidikan ekonomi keluarga dan perilaku konsumtif mempengaruhi pada gaya hidup. Literasi ekonomi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan tetapi memiliki nilai positif pada gaya hidup.     Optimalisisai Potensi Peserta Didik: Tantangan Pendidik Indonesia dalam Pendidikan Berbasis Kompetensi

    Competency-based education (CBE) is an instructional model gaining popularity in schools. A preliminary study found that teachers' identities must shift to engage in CBE fully. They must construct classrooms engaging and supporting students in independent learning. This study aims to uncover teachers' understanding of CBE and implementation challenges. A quantitative descriptive research method used questionnaires distributed to 1,905 teachers across Indonesia. The results showed that teachers have a good grasp of CBE regarding learning standards, methods, media, strategies, assessment, and student involvement. Challenges included determining the achievement of learning objectives, assignment deadlines for students, and strategies for sharing experiences. Proper CBE implementation requires teacher readiness in skills and CBE understanding. Those challenges provide implications for quality competency-based learning and assessment in schools.Pendidikan berbasis kompetensi (CBE) adalah model pembelajaran yang semakin populer di sekolah-sekolah. Sebuah studi pendahuluan menemukan bahwa identitas guru harus bergeser untuk sepenuhnya terlibat dalam CBE. Mereka harus membangun ruang kelas yang melibatkan dan mendukung siswa dalam pembelajaran mandiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap pemahaman guru tentang CBE dan tantangan implementasi. Metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 1.905 guru di seluruh Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para guru memiliki pemahaman yang baik tentang CBE terkait standar pembelajaran, metode, media, strategi, penilaian, dan keterlibatan siswa. Tantangan yang dihadapi guru antara lain dalam menentukan pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran, tenggat waktu penugasan bagi siswa, dan strategi untuk berbagi pengalaman. Implementasi CBE yang tepat membutuhkan kesiapan guru dalam hal keterampilan dan pemahaman CBE. Hal ini berimplikasi pada kualitas pembelajaran dan penilaian berbasis kompetensi di sekolah

    The Implication of Piaget’s Cognitive Theory on Indonesian Learning through Bigbook

    At the madrasah ibtidaiyah level, Indonesian language lessons are very important in enabling students to comprehend reading concepts, use and reflect on written reading. The research method employed a qualitative case study method. This research was carried out at the NU Tarbiyatuth Thullab madrasah ibtidaiyah, using data triangulation techniques (interviews, observation and documentation). The results of this research show that Indonesian language learning at MI NU Tarbiyatuth Thullab uses bigbook media to deepen students' comprehension. Additionally, teachers also apply the theory of student cognitive development through Jean Piaget's theory. The benefits of using bigbook and applying Piaget's theory help teachers in developing student’s reading abilities. Through the application of Piaget's theory, teachers could understand students' cognitive capabilities based on their developmental ages. Through bigbook learning media, students become more enthusiastic and interested as the materials contained interesting stories.Abstrak Di tingkat madrasah ibtidaiyah pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia menjadi sangat penting karena siswa diharapkan dapat memahami konsep bacaan, menggunakan dan merefleksikan bacaan tertulis untuk mencapai tujuan sesuai keperluan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana Implikasi Teori Belajar Kognitif Piaget Dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Melalui Bigbook. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di madrasah ibtidaiyah NU Tarbiyatuth Thullab. Peneliti menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di MI NU Tarbiyatuth Thullab menggunakan media bigook untuk memperdalam pemahaman siswa. Selain itu guru juga menerapkan teori perkembangan kognitif siswa melalui teori Jean Piaget. Manfaat dari penggunaan bigbook dan penerapan teori Piaget membantu guru dalam melatih siswa dalam membaca. Melalui penerapan teori piaget guru bisa memahami kemampuan kognitif siswa berdasarkan perkembangan usianya. Melalui media pembelajaran bigbook membuat siswa antusias dalam mengikuti pelajaraan. Siswa lebih tertarik saat guru menggunakan media bigbook karena di dalam bigbook terdapat materi berupa cerita-cerita yang menari dengan gambar yang banyak dan besar serta tulisan yang tidak banyak.   Kata kunci: Teori belajar, kognitif, Piaget, Bigbook, Bahasa Indonesia Abstract Indonesian language lessons hold great importance at the madrasah ibtidaiyah level, as they enable the students to comprehend reading concepts, use written texts and reflect on them to achieve their goals.     This research aims to determine the influence of Islamic learning and parent’s support on religious character and the role of self-control in mediating the relationship between these two variables. The research method used was a quantitative approach with a survey method, involving 126 participants. The results show that Islamic religious learning has a positive and significant influence on improving students' religious character, while parental support has a positive and insignificant influence. Self-control as a mediator of the relationship between Islamic learning and parental support also has a positive and significant influence. The implications of this research highlight the importance of forming children's religious character as preparation for living a life as a true Muslim. Suggestions given improving the learning system by compiling an Islamic learning curriculum that can actualize the values of Islamic teachings and creating intensive communication between parents and children to create his ability to control himself from disgraceful actions

    Penerapan Pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching Berbantuan Flashcard untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Menulis di Sekolah Dasar

    The purpose of this study was to improve the simple writing skills of grade II elementary school students by using a culturally responsive teaching (CRT) approach assisted by flashcard media. The research was conducted in class II-B at SD Negeri Jambangan I/413 Surabaya, involving 32 students. The study utilized classroom action research with the four steps of the Kemmis and McTaggart model: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The data were compiled through learning result sheets and field notes. The study's findings demonstrated that the average score for basic writing abilities had increased from 45 in the pre-action period to 63 in cycle I and 79 in cycle II. The percentage of students achieving learning outcomes improved from 9% in the pre-action phase to 53% in cycle I and 89% in cycle II. It was concluded that culturally responsive teaching assisted by flashcard media could improve simple writing skills in Indonesian subjects in elementary schools through engaging, culture-based learning activities and the support of images to enhance students' understanding and writing abilities.  Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis sederhana siswa di kelas II sekolah dasar dengan menerapkan pendekatan culturally responsive teaching (CRT) berbantuan media flashcard. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas II-B SD Negeri Jambangan I/413 Surabaya yang berjumlah 32 siswa. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan berjenis penelitian tindakan kelas melalui empat alur Kemmis dan McTaggart, yakni perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Data dihimpun melalui lembar hasil belajar serta catatan lapangan. Perolehan hasil penelitian membuktikan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis sederhana sebesar 45 pada pra tindakan menjadi 63 (siklus I) dan 79 (siklus II). Ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa yang awalnya hanya 9% pada pra tindakan, selanjutnya berturut-turut meningkat menjadi 53% dan 89% pada siklus I dan II. Dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan culturally responsive teaching berbantuan media flashcard dapat meningkatkan materi keterampilan menulis sederhana siswa pada subjek pelajaran bahasa Indonesia melalui aktivitas pembelajaran berbasis budaya yang menarik, dan adanya dukungan gambar untuk memperkuat pemahaman siswa sebagai bekal menulis

This article aims to explore the use of AI in learning for students, with a focus on effectiveness, impact, and challenges faced.     Implementation of Science Module Integrated with Google Colaboratory to Improve Students’ Computational Thinking Skill. Is it Effective?

    Computational thinking skills are one of the supporters of the achievement of 21st century skills. Computational thinking is recognised as the third pillar of science, along with theory and experimentation. This study aims to improve students’ computational thinking skill through implementation science module integrated with Google Colaboratory. Computational thinking skills in students can be improved through learning programming. Students must be guided to connect concepts and activities from students by creating computer programming. This research uses one group pretest-posttest, then the result will be analyzed using N-gain and paired sample test. The object of this research is 36 students in junior high school level. The result of this study shows that the mean of the pre-test score is 27,25 and the mean of the post-test score being 62,36 with the N-gain score is 0,48 in the moderate category. Results of paired sample test show a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000, which is smaller than the threshold of 0.05. This result shows that the implementation of the learning module had a significant positive effect on improving computational thinking skills

    Suicide Among Rural Primary School Learners in Zimbabwe: An Epidemic in Need of Mitigation

    Suicide among rural primary school learners Zimbabwe has reached epidemic proportions, yet there is dearth. However, the causes and potential mitigation strategies are still limited. This article aims to address that gap by exploring Zimbabwe rural primary learners' perspectives. Using a socio-cultural theoretical framework, this qualitative study will conduct focus group with 12 learners from Mahoto rural area, Masvingo North Constituency to elicit learners' lived experiences and suicide motivations. The data will undergo thematic analysis to identify key patterns and themes. Initial findings suggest that academic struggles without access to counselling drive many rural primary school learners to end their lives prematurely. This highlights the need for Zimbabwe's Government, through the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education to urgently deploy professional counsellors. By giving voice to the disadvantaged rural learner suicide epidemic firsthand, this study seeks actionable strategies to stem the tragedy of learners’ suicide and promote the well-being of Zimbabwean rural learners

    Dampak Work-Life Balance, Motivasi Kerja, terhadap Kinerja Karyawan: Tinjauan Sistematis Tempat Kerja di Indonesia

    This study explores the impact of work-life balance and work motivation on employee performance within organizational contexts in Indonesia. Using a systematic literature review approach based on PRISMA, the study analyzes 64 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2024. The findings reveal that work-life balance, facilitated by flexible policies and supportive supervisor behavior, significantly enhances employee engagement and productivity. Work motivation, both intrinsic and extrinsic, also plays a crucial role in achieving optimal performance through internal incentives such as personal satisfaction and external support like organizational encouragement. In Indonesia’s collectivist culture, social and familial values strongly influence the relationship between work-life balance, work motivation, and employee performance. This study highlights the importance of organizational strategies, such as flexible work arrangements and supportive leadership, in fostering a conducive and productive work environment. It provides practical insights for organizations in designing balanced policies to sustainably improve employee well-being and performance
