    Reference Services in the library: literature review

    This research aims to investigate the impact of reference services on the library and the professionalism of librarians on library users. This research explains the importance of libraries, especially those in higher education institutions, in assisting people in obtaining information. To assess the level of satisfaction among library users, this research employs a literature review method. Before determining the results, 150 articles were initially reviewed, then screening was conducted, resulting in 70 articles. These were further filtered down to 20 articles for the final review. The result of this research is libraries, reference services, librarians, and user satisfaction are interconnected elements that support effective information dissemination and academic activities in higher education

    Studi Literature: Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini pada Masa Reformasi di Indonesia

    This article presents an analysis of the development of Early Childhood Education (ECED) procedures in reform-era Indonesia. The main focus is on policy implementation and the important role of families and communities in supporting it. The research was conducted using a desk study method to analyze relevant literature. The results show progress in ECD policy development but also identify challenges such as inequitable access and quality of ECD in different regions. Reform-era education reforms emphasize decentralization and competency-based systems, but implementation has been uneven. The role of family and community is considered crucial in supporting the success of ECD by involving them in formal, non-formal and informal education processes. This involvement is important to create an environment that supports the holistic development of young children. The study recommends a systemic approach to education reform, integrating changes to learning experiences, learning systems, local management and legislation systems.Artikel ini menyajikan analisis tentang perkembangan prosedur Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) di Indonesia masa reformasi. Fokus utamanya adalah implementasi kebijakan serta peran penting keluarga dan masyarakat dalam mendukungnya. Penelitian dilaksanakan menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan guna menganalisis berbagai literatur terkait. Hasilnya menunjukkan kemajuan dalam pengembangan kebijakan PAUD namun juga mengidentifikasi tantangan seperti ketidakmerataan akses dan kualitas PAUD di berbagai daerah. Reformasi pendidikan era reformasi menekankan desentralisasi dan sistem berbasis kompetensi, namun implementasinya belum merata. Peran keluarga dan masyarakat dianggap krusial dalam mendukung keberhasilan PAUD dengan melibatkan mereka dalam proses pendidikan formal, nonformal, dan informal. Keterlibatan ini penting untuk mewujudkan lingkungan dengan mendukung perkembangan holistik anak usia dini. Studi ini merekomendasikan pendekatan sistemik dalam reformasi pendidikan, yang mengintegrasikan perubahan pada pengalaman belajar, sistem pembelajaran, manajemen daerah, dan sistem perundang-undangan

    Implementasi dan Hambatan Dalam Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di Sekolah Dasar: Studi Kepustakaan

    This research aims to determine the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools and the obstacles to implementing the independent curriculum in elementary schools. The research method used is a literature review with qualitative methods. The secondary data sources used came from 16 national journal articles. The research results show that the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools can be seen from five aspects of the independent curriculum, namely, 1) development of the school operational curriculum; 2) use of teaching tools; 3) Pancasila profile project; 4) learning according to the student's learning achievement stage; 5) innovative development. The obstacles in implementing the independent curriculum in elementary schools are, 1) related to infrastructure; 2) teaching staff and teachers; 3) conditions of students, environment, and family; 4) inequality in government policies.  Kurikulum merdeka diadakan dengan tujuan untuk menghasilkan siswa dan lulusan yang kompeten akan tantangan dimasa depan. Akan tetapi, dalam proses implementasinya belum terlaksana dengan baik dan memunculkan persoalan serta hambatan terkhusunya penerapan di sekolah dasar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana gambaran implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar dan mengetahui hambatan dalam mengimplementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu literature review. Sumber data sekunder yang digunakan berasal dari 16 artikel jurnal nasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar telah dapat dilihat dari lima aspek implementasi kurikulum merdeka yaitu, 1) pengembangan kurikulum operasional sekolah ; 2) penggunaan perangkat ajar ; 3) projek profil Pancasila ; 4) pembelajaran sesuai tahap capaian belajar peserta didik ; 5) pengembangan inovatif. Adapun hambatan dalam implementasi kurikulum merdeka di sekolah dasar yaitu, 1) terkait dengan fasilitas-sarana prasarana ; 2) tenaga pendidik dan guru ; 3) kondisi siswa, lingkungan, dan keluarga ; 4) ketimpangan atas kebijakan pemerintah

    Course institutions need good program management to be able to create Arabic language learning in accordance with the goals and objectives. Learning management itself has four functions: planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling. This research aims to describe the planning, organizing, mobilization and management control of the An-Najah Center Course Program in Medan, Indonesia. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques include observation of Arabic language program activities, interviews with course founders and teachers, and documentation. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive data in three main steps, namely data reduction, data exposure, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that planning starts with analyzing needs, classifying student competencies, formulating learning objectives, designing the curriculum and syllabus, and determining teaching materials.Lembaga kursus membutuhkan manajemen program yang baik untuk dapat menciptakan pembelajaran bahasa Arab sesuai dengan target dan tujuan. George R Terry, mengemukakan dalam teorinya bahwa manajemen memiliki empat fungsi, yaitu perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsika Planing, Organizing, Actuating, dan Controling manajemen program kursus An-Najah Center Medan, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data, yaitu observasi terhadap kegiatan program bahasa Arab, wawancara kepada pendiri lembaga kursus dan pengajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan dimulai dari analisis kebutuhan, klasifikasi kompetensi siswa, merumuskan tujuan pembelajaran, merancang kurikulum dan silabus, serta menetapkan bahan ajar. Pengorganisasian dilakukan dengan membentuk struktur dan uraian tugas yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan program. Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan menggerakkan semua sumber daya yang terkait dengan cara memotivasi, mengarahkan mereka untuk melaksanakan tugas dengan disiplin, efektif dan optimal. Pengawasan dilakukan dengan pengontrolan kelas oleh direktur dan kemudian dievaluasi bersama dengan staf dan tenaga pendidik agar program yang terdapat di lembaga kursus dapat terus berjalan dan berkembang lebih baik lagi dari sebelumnya. Manajemen program yang efektif dan efisien terbukti berhasil dalam menjamin keberlangsungan program intensif timur tengah, meskipun program tersebut merupakan program pendidikan yang dilaksanakan di lembaga non formal

    Peran Mahasiswa Unisri dalam Pemilu

    The purpose of this article's analysis was to examine how students at the University of Slamet Riyadi's perceived the market, particularly focusing on early adopters, starting in 2024. About 60% of the members of the political party consisted of young people, Generation Z, Millennials, and even some students from Universitas Slamet Riyadi. The study took place in November 2023 at UNISRI involving 58 master's students capable of implementing the study's findings regarding the 2024 election. According to the study's findings, there are three factors negatively affecting political views of students at Universitas Slamet Riyadi: the unstable political and social environment, the unstable political environment that affects and shapes actor behavior, the instability of the political structure, and the political environment. These factors shows positive indicators of the students' performance in politics. Notably, the political environment did not negatively affect the situationABSTRAK Penelitian pada artikel ini sebagai upaya mengetahui seberapa mengertinya mahasiswa Universitas Slamet Riyadi mengenai pemilu khususnya yang baru pertama kali memilih pada tahun 2024. Hampir 60% pemilih merupakan peserta politik muda, baik generasi Z maupun generasi milenial. Bahkan mahasiswa Universitas Slamet Riyadi. Kajian ini tentunya dilakukan dalam setting ilmu sosial dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan eksploratif dan dilaksanakan di UNISRI pada bulan November 2023. Jumlah responden dalam proses penelitian ini sebanyak 58 mahasiswa yang dapat mengimplementasikan persepsi terkait pemilu 2024. Riset ini memberikan beberapa faktor yaitu ada empat faktor yang mempengaruhi perilaku politik mahasiswa Universitas Slamet Riyadi adalah lingkungan sosialLingkup politik tidak nyata, lingkup politik tidak nyata menjadi pengaruh kepribadian aktor, struktur personalisme, dan lingkup politik nyata. Bentuk keadaan dan segala isinya mempunyai fungsi positif yang berpengaruh terhadap sikap aktifitas. Adapun fungsi yang tidak berpengaruh terhadap aktivitas, yaitu lingkup politik terdekat pada keadaan dimana pemilu tidak mewakili cara penyesuaian diri atau cara dimana diri mempertahankan terhadap situasi tersebut.     This research aims to determine the Role of Women's Schools in Strengthening the Family Function in the Educational Field for Housewives in Tanjung Rejo Village. This research was conducted at PKBM Laskar Pelangi as the venue for women's school activities in Tanjung Rejo Village, Percut Sei Tuan sub-district. The type of research used is qualitative descriptive research. The subjects in this study are 2 managers of women's schools and 2 learning participants. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The technique for checking the validity of data includes credibility testing, dependability testing, transferability testing, and confirmability testing. The results of the study show several findings: 1) Women's schools contribute positively to instilling religious education, introducing values such as patience, honesty, and sex education, creating an environment that supports the spiritual and moral development of learning participants. 2) The role of women's schools in moral education contributes positively by integrating moral values into the curriculum. 3) Women's schools help families create a safe emotional environment, supporting children in dealing with feelings and emotions. 4) The role of women's schools in developing household skills provides practical knowledge and training related to managing daily household tasks. 5) Women's schools successfully develop vocational skills, such as utilizing social media, making accessories, and entrepreneurial skills, contributing to the ability of housewives to apply these skills in daily life and even encouraging the opening of small businesses at home.     Intructional Leadership to Realize School Quality Culture (Case Study at Insan Amanah Elementary School, Malang City)

    This study aims to describe the profile of Intructional leadership in establishing a quality culture. This research was conducted using a qualitative approach, and the research design was a case study. The research was carried out at SD Insan Amanah in Malang City, which is a private elementary school with an A accreditation and has achieved various academic and non-academic achievements. Conclusions drawn from data analysis are: (1) the profile of Intructional leadership focuses on overall quality improvement in various areas and continuous improvement; (2) the strategies of Intructional leadership in establishing a culture of quality involve shared perception and creating a harmonious work environment; (3) the forms of quality culture include school culture and Islamic culture, six dimensions of Pancasila student profiles, and a reward and punishment system; (4) the supporting factors of Intructional leadership in establishing a quality culture involve the participation of all school members and collaboration; and (5) the inhibiting factors include demotivated staf, less enthusiastic students, unsupportive community, excessive administrative burden, and simultaneous school programs. However, the headmaster has implemented various measures to address these issues, such as promptly solving problems, conducting weekly reflection activities, periodic monitoring and guidance, coaching clinics, and maximizing the role of guidance and counseling teachers.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan profil kepemimpinan pembelajaran dalam membangun budaya mutu. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dan desain penelitiannya adalah studi kasus. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SD Insan Amanah Kota Malang yang merupakan sekolah dasar swasta yang terakreditasi A dan telah meraih berbagai prestasi akademik dan non akademik. Kesimpulan yang diambil dari analisis data adalah: (1) profil kepemimpinan pembelajaran berfokus pada peningkatan kualitas secara menyeluruh di berbagai bidang dan perbaikan berkelanjutan; (2) strategi kepemimpinan pembelajaran dalam membangun budaya mutu melibatkan kesamaan persepsi dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang harmonis; (3) bentuk budaya mutu meliputi budaya sekolah dan budaya islami, enam dimensi profil siswa pancasila, dan sistem reward and punishment; (4) faktor pendukung kepemimpinan pembelajaran dalam membangun budaya mutu melibatkan partisipasi seluruh warga sekolah dan kolaborasi; dan (5) faktor penghambatnya antara lain staf yang kehilangan motivasi, siswa yang kurang antusias, masyarakat yang kurang mendukung, beban administrasi yang berlebihan, dan program sekolah yang serentak. Namun demikian, kepala sekolah telah menerapkan berbagai upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, seperti segera menyelesaikan masalah, melakukan kegiatan refleksi mingguan, pemantauan dan bimbingan berkala, klinik pembinaan, dan memaksimalkan peran guru bimbingan dan konseling

This article investigates how teaching science in elementary schools might contribute to the promotion of sustainable development. It studies the significance of implementing sustainable development ideas into scientific curricula and classroom activities, such as environmental awareness, resource conservation, and social responsibility.     Kepemimpinan Transformasional Untuk Kepala Sekolah Indonesia: Konsep Dan Pengukurannya

    This study explores the application and significance of transformational leadership among school principals in Indonesia. Transformational leadership is considered a pivotal approach for improving the role of principals in driving positive change within educational institutions, impacting teachers, students, and the entire school community. Drawing on transformational leadership theories by Bass and Avolio (2003), the Principal Leadership Questionnaire (PLQ) is adapted specifically for the Indonesian context, measuring dimensions such as Professional Interaction, Participative Decision-Making, Individual Support, Intellectual Stimulation, and Moral Perspective. This instrument has undergone rigorous validation and reliability testing, confirming its suitability for evaluating teachers' perceptions of principals' leadership effectiveness in Indonesian schools. The study highlights the relevance of transformational leadership in addressing challenges unique to Indonesia's educational landscape, including resource limitations and geographic disparities. It concludes by emphasizing the need for principals to adopt transformational leadership to foster a collaborative school climate and calls for further research on adaptive leadership practices within local contexts.     Mathematics learning is not only important in developing cognitive abilities, but affective abilities are also very important. One of these affective abilities is mathematical disposition. Efforts to improve mathematical disposition need to be supported by effective learning models. So the aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the learning model on students' mathematical disposition. By using a literature study research method, namely the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, this research revealed that in the 2019-2024 period there were 101 relevant research articles related to the effectiveness of learning models on students' mathematical disposition abilities with the most widely used learning model being the learning model. Problem Based Learning (PBL) The most widely used research method is quantitative research methods (quasi-experimental) while the research subjects are mostly aimed at junior high school students.Mathematics learning is not only important in developing cognitive abilities, but affective abilities are also very important.
