    The Role of School Principals to Improve Teacher Professionalism in Indonesia: A Systematically Literature Review

    This study aims to analyze the role of school principals in improving teacher professionalism in Indonesia through a systematic review method. The data was gathered from various indexed sources, including Google Scholar, Publish or Perish indexed by PubMed, Crossref, and Semantic Scholar, using keywords such as "The Role of School Principal" and "Teacher Professionalism." A total of 64 relevant articles were identified, with 15 meeting the inclusion criteria. The findings reveal that principals enhance teacher professionalism by implementing various strategies, such as academic supervision, professional development programs, mentoring, and a supportive work environment. Principals act as leaders, motivators, supervisors, and facilitators, guiding teachers to enhance their competencies through training, workshops, and continuous professional development. The study concludes that strengthening the leadership capacity of school principals is essential to promoting teacher professionalism and improving educational outcomes in Indonesia

    Analysis of Women's Learning Needs Based on Local Wisdom in Darussalam Village

    Women in Darussalam Village play a crucial role in achieving food security by processing their harvests in simple ways. With their skills and creativity, they are able to create products with economic value and based on local wisdom. Through a strong spirit of mutual cooperation, local potential is collectively preserved, and the results are used for the common good. Based on field studies, women require innovation through knowledge and skills to cultivate local potential. Therefore, a learning needs analysis is necessary to identify the learning needs of productive-age women based on local wisdom. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results indicate that women in Darussalam Village have traditionally cultivated local potential and require learning related to hobbies and recreation, namely developing skills in making handicrafts for sustainable agricultural and fishery products, increasing productivity, and mentoring in product development for small businesses

    Abstract The SCL method collaborates with learning that focuses on the context and needs of students. In its implementation, it requires the nature of constructive learning. The purpose of this study is to investigate the Challenges and Opportunities of Koinonia-Sentani High School in applying the SCL Method, especially in the application of Christian Religious Education learning. The method used was a qualitative descriptive method. Data were obtained from field observations, interviews, and document reviews. In validating the data, the triagulation technique of the data source was used. The results of this study show that the adaptation of the SCL method for students at Koinonia Sentani High School experiences challenges and opportunities to optimize it. These challenges are student learning readiness and resource utilization. Learning readiness is motivated by physical, mental, and emotional-social factors. Meanwhile, the use of resources is in the form of technology integration, teacher and student participation, and methods. In addition to challenges, there are also opportunities to apply the SCL method, namely school regulations and cultures that are resilient to the balance of tradition and global challenges. This research is expected to contribute to changes related to the implementation of constructive learning through the SCL method that focuses on student needs. &nbsp

    Membangun Karakter untuk Memerangi Bullying: Inisiatif Guru dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini

    This study aims to explore teachers' efforts in building character to overcome bullying behavior in early childhood education. The focus of this study is the strategy for implementing effective character education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection through observation and interviews. Data analysis is carried out through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study show that teachers' efforts are integrating character education through problem-based learning, projects and direct practice, creating school welfare, identifying bullying, and involving parents in supporting children's character formation. This strategy shows effectiveness in building empathy, concern, and positive behavior in early childhood. The implication of this study is that a holistic approach is needed involving teachers, parents, and the school environment. These findings can be a reference for the development of more inclusive and contextual character education policies for children.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi upaya guru dalam membangun karakter untuk mengatasi perilaku bullying pada pendidikan anak usia dini. Fokus penelitian ini adalah strategi penerapan pendidikan karakter yang efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru adalah mengintegrasikan pendidikan karakter melalui pembelajaran berbasis masalah, proyek dan praktik langsung, menciptakan kesejahteraan sekolah, mengidentifikasi bullying, dan melibatkan orang tua dalam mendukung pembentukan karakter anak. Strategi ini menunjukkan efektivitas dalam membangun empati, kepedulian, dan perilaku positif pada anak usia dini. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah diperlukan pendekatan holistik yang melibatkan guru, orang tua, dan lingkungan sekolah. Temuan ini dapat menjadi acuan bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan karakter anak yang lebih inklusif dan kontekstual

    Pengembangan Buku Ajar Fase F Pengelasan GMAW Berbasis Project Based Learning

    This research aims to develop a Project-Based Learning based Gas Metal Arc Welding phase F textbook to be used in learning activities. The development of this textbook is based on the need for relevant teaching materials, especially for the concentration of welding engineering expertise. This research uses the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate) developed by Thiagarajan and Semmel. The research stages include defining product needs and specifications (define), designing textbooks (design), developing and validating products (develop), and disseminating revised textbooks based on trial results (disseminate). The results of this study indicate that the textbooks developed are valid and feasible to use in the learning process. The average score obtained from the feasibility test by the material expert validator is 85% with a decent category and the average score of the learner's response obtained is 76.3% with a good category.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku ajar fase F pengelasan Gas Metal Arc Welding yang berbasis Project-Based Learning untuk digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran siswa SMK yang berada di Fase F sesuai Kurikulum Merdeka. Pengembangan buku ajar ini didasarkan pada kebutuhan akan materi ajar yang relevan khususnya untuk konsentrasi keahlian teknik pengelasan, pada topik Pengelasan GMAW. Penelitian ini memakai model pengembangan 4D (Define, Design, Develop, dan Disseminate) yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan dan Semmel.Tahapan penelitian meliputi pendefinisian kebutuhan dan spesifikasi produk (define), perancangan buku ajar (design), pengembangan dan validasi produk (develop), serta penyebaran buku ajar yang telah direvisi berdasarkan hasil uji coba (disseminate). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar yang dikembangkan valid dan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. Skor rata-rata yang didapat dari uji kelayakan oleh validator ahli materi adalah 85% dengan kategori layak dan skor rata-rata respon peserta didik yang didapat dalam uji terbatas adalah 76,3% dengan kategori baik. Sedangkan hasil uji N-Gainnya adalah 0,84 yang berarti Buku Ajar ini memiliki efektivitas yang tinggi

    Pendidikan Katolik memiliki peran strategis dalam menghadapi tantangan abad ke-21, khususnya dalam era masyarakat 5.0 yang ditandai dengan dominasi teknologi canggih dan kecerdasan buatan. Dengan menekankan martabat manusia, pengembangan potensi individu, dan pendidikan integral, pendidikan Katolik berorientasi pada pembentukan manusia seutuhnya yang mampu berpikir kritis, kreatif, kolaboratif, dan komunikatif. Melalui pendekatan humanis-teologis, pendidikan Katolik bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai etis seperti solidaritas, cinta kasih, dan keadilan sosial ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendekatan kritis-profetis mendorong refleksi mendalam terhadap realitas sosial, sementara pendekatan kolaborasi-komunio menekankan pentingnya dialog dan kerja sama.     The Effectiveness Of Elsa Speak Application To Improve Speaking Skill In Extra Class

    This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Elsa Speak application as a learning medium in improving English speaking skills of additional class students at Al-Bairuny Islamic School. The researcher used a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental group taught using the AI-based Elsa Speak application and a control group taught without the application. The results showed a significant increase in the experimental group's speaking skills, especially in pronunciation, fluency, and confidence. The control group only showed minimal improvement. These findings indicate that Elsa Speak, as an AI-based learning medium, is effective in improving students' English speaking skills. This study shows the importance of using AI-based technology in language learning to improve the quality of English education in the digital era

    Exploration of the Implementation of Padlet Media in Increasing Involvement and Understanding of Citizens Learning Package B in Indonesian Language Subjects at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera Padang City

    Non-formal education has a strategic role in increasing access to learning for people who are not covered by the formal education system. One of the main challenges in Package B learning at PKBM Suka Maju Sejahtera, Padang City is the low involvement and understanding of students in the Indonesian language material. This study aims to explore the implementation of Padlet digital learning media in increasing the involvement and understanding of students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data is collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation analysis. The results of the study indicate that the use of Padlet increases the involvement of students through more active interactions, dynamic discussions, and the use of content in various formats that support conceptual understanding. However, the study also found several obstacles, such as limited internet access and lack of digital literacy. Therefore, a strategy is needed to strengthen technological infrastructure and training for tutors and students to ensure the effectiveness of using Padlet in learning.     Development of Religiosity Measurement Tools for High School Students in the Evaluation of Islamic Religious Education Learning

    This research aims to develop an instrument to measure the religiosity of high school students in the context of Islamic Religious Education learning evaluation. The background of this research is based on the fact that learning evaluations so far tend to focus on cognitive aspects, while the affective and psychomotor dimensions have received less attention. This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) development model. The instruments were compiled based on the synthesis of various theoretical models of religiosity, such as those of Glock and Stark, Mahudin et al., and Olufadi. Validation is carried out by experts in the fields of Islamic education, educational psychology, and language. The results showed that this instrument met the theoretical and empirical standards, with a feasibility score of 97.7% from Islamic Religious Education experts, 100% Indonesian linguists, and 92% from educational psychologists, with an average score of 94%. This shows that the instrument is very feasible to use to assess the integration of religious values in the evaluation of PAI learning. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa evaluasi pembelajaran selama ini cenderung berfokus pada aspek kognitif, sementara dimensi afektif dan psikomotorik kurang mendapat perhatian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Instrumen disusun berdasarkan sintesis berbagai model teoritis religiusitas, seperti dari Glock dan Stark, Mahudin et al., dan Olufadi. Validasi dilakukan oleh para ahli di bidang pendidikan Islam, psikologi pendidikan, dan bahasa. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa instrumen ini memenuhi standar teoretis dan empiris, dengan skor kelayakan sebesar 97.7% dari  ahli Pendidikan Agama Islam, 100% ahli bahasa Indonesia, dan 92% ahli psikologi pendiidkan, dengan nilai rata rata sebesar 94%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen sangat layak digunakan untuk menilai integrasi nilai religius dalam evaluasi pembelajaran PAI.
