This paper aimed at determining the the quality of education in primary schools. This paper contributed to principal on improving supervision in order to have very good primary school’s performance. Since the school wishes to have good performance they should have good principal’s supervision, committee’s participation, and educators, parents of students, and the community in the school environment. Efforts to improve the quality of education that can be applied, such as; provide opportunities for teachers to improve their competencies, provide books in the library, provide training in leadership and management of school principals, renewal of infrastructure to support student comfort while in school, especially in the classroom when studying, increase community participation and the role of people parents to guide them when they are at home and in the end, namely the policies that the school makes according to the needs of the schoolArtikel ini bertujuan untuk menentukan mutu pendidikan di sekolah dasar. Artikel ini memberikan kontribusi kepada kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan supervisi agar kinerja sekolah dasar sangat baik. Karena sekolah ingin berprestasi maka harus ada supervisi kepala sekolah, peran serta komite, pendidik, orang tua siswa, dan masyarakat di lingkungan sekolah. Upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan yang dapat diterapkan antara lain; memberikan kesempatan kepada guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya, menyediakan buku-buku di perpustakaan, memberikan pelatihan kepemimpinan dan manajemen kepala sekolah, pembaharuan sarana prasarana untuk menunjang kenyamanan siswa selama di sekolah terutama di dalam kelas saat belajar, meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan peran Orang tua yang membimbing mereka ketika berada di rumah dan pada akhirnya, yaitu kebijakan yang dibuat sekolah sesuai dengan kebutuhan sekolah
Pengembangan Student Worksheet Model MORE Berbasis Teori Konstruktivistik Sosial Vygotsky di MAN 1 Pontianak
This study aims to develop student worksheets of good quality and effectiveness to improve students' knowledge competencies. The student worksheet developed refers to the MORE (Model-Observe-Reflect-Explain) learning model based on Vygotsky's social constructivist theory. This development research refers to the steps developed by Thiagarajan, namely the 4-D model. Data collection techniques in this study applied interviews, observation, and tests. The analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. The empirical test of increasing knowledge competence uses the pre-experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design. Data on knowledge competency improvement were analyzed using the paired sample t-test. The subjects of this study were students of class X IPS 1 at Moslem Senior High School (MAN). The results of this study are as follows: first, the MORE student worksheet model based on Vygotsky's social constructivist theory has a very good quality. MODEL BIMBINGAN KONSELING KOMPREHENSIF DALAM MEMBERIKAN LAYANAN PRANIKAH BAGI MAHASISWA
Premarital education for students is considered necessary because, at this time, a person must be prepared to enter married life. Premarital education is one of the preparations that can be done by early adults in marriage and has a goal in preventing divorce. This study aims to formulate a hypothetical comprehensive guidance and counselling program to improve students' self-readiness in facing marriage and family life. This type of research is development research or Research and Development methods, namely research strategies used to produce specific products. This research will be conducted at Padang State University, namely to students of Special Education, Faculty of Education. The results of this study are (1) In general, special education department’s students of the Faculty of Education, Padang State University, as early adults, have less interest in preparing for their marriage. (2) The comprehensive premarital guidance and counselling model for students developed in this study is formulated from a theoretical framework based on field findings, consisting of 7 rational components, key concepts, vision & mission, model objectives, the content of guidance and counselling, control, and organization & personnel. (3) Based on the model validation test conducted by three counsellors on the General Guidelines for the Development of Comprehensive Premarital Guidance and Models for Students, it shows that the contents of the general guidelines are categorized as suitable or adequate.Pendidikan pranikah bagi mahasiswa dirasa penting karena pada masa inilah seseorang harus dipersiapkan untuk memasuki kehidupan pernikahan. Pendidikan pranikah merupakan salah satu persiapan yang dapat dilakukan oleh dewasa awal di dalam pernikahan serta memiliki tujuan dalam mencegah perceraian. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan program hipotetik bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif untuk meningkatkan kesiapan diri mahasiswa dalam menghadapi pernikahan dan hidup berkeluarga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau metode Research dan Development yakni strategi penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu. Penelitian ini akan dilakukan di Universitas Negeri Padang yaitu kepada mahasiswa Pendidikan Luar Biasa, Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Secara umum mahasiswa PLB Fakultas Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Negeri Padang sebagai sosok dewasa awal kurang memiliki minat untuk mempersiapkan pernikahannya. (2) Model bimbingan dan konseling komprehensif pranikah bagi mahasiswa yang dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini dirumuskan dari kerangka kerja yang berlandaskan pada teori dan didasarkan dari temuan lapangan, terdiri dari 7 komponen rasional, konsep kunci, visi & misi, tujuan model, isi bimbingan dan konseling, pengendalian, dan organisasi & personalia. (3) Berdasarkan uji validasi model yang dilakukan oleh tiga konselor terhadap materi Pedoman Umum Pengembangan Model Bimbingan dan Komprehensif Pranikah bagi Mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa isi pedoman umum tersebut dikatagorikan baik atau memadai
Penggunaan Aplikasi Google Meet dalam Menunjang Keefektifan Belajar Daring Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru
So that online learning can run well, teachers are expected to be able to take advantage of technology in their learning. One of the uses of technology is using learning application media. At SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru, they have used the Google Meet application, Google Classroom, and Whatsapp in the online learning process. From several observations in the field, SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru teachers are more likely to use the Google Meet application in online learning. The Google Meet application is considered to be easier and more effective in delivering learning material. This study aims to describe the perceptions of students and teachers and the process of using the Google Meet application in online learning at these schools. This type of research is a qualitative research with a descriptive-analysis approach. Based on field research, it is known that the Google Meet application is classified as more effective than other learning application media. Several factors underlie curriculum development, including philosophical, psychological, socio-cultural, political, state development and world development, and science and technology (IPTEK) foundations. The process of changing the curriculum in various countries cannot be adapted to the political conditions in that country, therefore the educational curriculum may change at any time according to the political conditions that affect the country concerned. Pentingnya melatih problem solving pada anak usia dini melalui bermain
This study is a literature study that aims to determine the importance of practicing problem solving in early childhood through play. This study uses various written sources such as articles, journals, and documents that are relevant to what will be examined in this study. The results obtained in this study are that the introduction of problem solving to children from an early age is very important to do because it can make children think critically, systematically and get children used to looking for answers to problems and draw conclusions without haste. Games that can be done in instilling the spirit of prolem solving in anank are fuzzle, muse, unloading and so on.Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pentingnya melatih problem solving pada anak usia dini melalui bermain, penelitian ini menggunakan berbagai sumber tertulis seperti artikel, jurnal, dan dokumen yang relevan dengan yang akan di teliti dalam penelitian ini. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu bahwa pengenalan problem solving kepada anak sejak dini sangat penting dilakukan harna dapat membuat anak berpikir secara kritis, sistematis dan membiasakan anak mencari suaru jawaban dari permasalahan serta menarik kesimpulan dengan tidak tergesa-gesa. Penggunaan Model Problem Based Learning Dalam Mengatasi Permasalahan IPA Tematik Di SD
Pemblajaran tematik merupakan pembelajaran yang menggabungkan beberapa mata pelajaran yang saling berkaitan satu sama lain yang digabungkan dalam satu tema pembelajaran. Pembelajaran IPA adalah salah mata pelajaaran yang terkait dalam pembelajara tematik. Pembelajaran IPA merupakan ilmu yang berhubungan dengan alam dan kebendaan, yang disusun secara sistematis melaui percobaan dan pengamatan sehingga dapat memecahkan suatu masalah dan memperoleh hasil yang berlaku tidak hanya pada satu orang melainkan pada beberapa percobaan dengan hasil yang sama dan konsisten. Dalam pelaksanaan pembejaaran IPA tematik terdapat beberapa kendala yang memunculkan permasalahan dalam pembelajaran, sehingga dibutuhkan model pembelajaran yang cocok untuk dapat mengatasi permaslahan tersebut. Salah satu model pemblajaran yang digunakan adalah model problem based learning, yang berbasis masalah, yang melibatkan siswa untuk menemukan pemecahan masalah
Opinions of Students and Teachers in Primary School towards Online Learning during COVID-19 Outbreak
The purpose of this research was to study the opinions of students and teachers in primary school towards online learning during COVID-19 outbreak. The informants were 106 students and 45 teachers from one primary school, Mahasarakham province, Thailand in Semester 2 Academic Year 2020. Questionnaires were used for data collection through Google form. Percentage, mean, and standard deviation were employed for data analysis. Findings showed that students had opinions towards online learning during COVID-19 outbreak were at high level, but teachers are quite fluctuating level of their opinion between high and low levels. The discussion represents students are ready to have online learning than teachers who are not familiar with technology. Teachers need to reskill or upskill in field of educational technology within and post outbreak.  
Application of Blended Learning through Practical Project-based Instruction: Opportunities and Constraints
This paper aims to highlight the application of Blended Learning (BL) for practical courses in the architecture program in the COVID-19 period. Physical Environment course is a theoretical module for first-year undergraduate students in the architecture program. Despite the course being written in theoretical structure, it was proposed to reorient the course into mixed methods with practical activities through online researching, site visiting, and reporting. This research applied a qualitative method with the application of case study, structured observation, content analysis, graphical analysis, and interpretation techniques. The data was collected from 40 students divided into ten groups, four students per group, to discover the application of BL in a practical and project-based activity. The findings of the research showed the students faced limitations to access the search engines and scientific sources to collect the sources for exercises. A half part of the group did plagiarism in the citation and referencing of the reports. The students present more accurate data in the site visiting and practical activities than the theoretical part. To conclude, the application of BL requires sufficient infrastructure for access to online materials through institutions. The implementation of BL helps the students to personalize and specialize the learning process through their own report design and exercises that are more effective for course delivery. Although the BL is implemented just in the activity and course levels by staff and students, BL mode requires to set-up in both program and institutional levels to achieve the result
Persepsi Siswa tentang Pembelajaran Online pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi di Masa Pandemi Covid-19
This study aims to explain economic learning in secondary schools that was carried out online during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study used a quantitative approach. Collecting data through the survey method by giving questionnaires to respondents. Research respondents totaled 216 students. Data analysis was carried out descriptively by explaining the frequency, percentage, and mean score of the responses given by the respondents. The results showed that in online learning the teacher gave more assignments as well as delivered the subject matter, multi-way interaction between teachers and students has been built, students still have difficulty understanding the subject matter, students consider online learning carried out from home to be quite boring, students already have facilities ready. No need to come to school, flexibility, and save time and money are the advantages of online learning. Meanwhile, it is very dependent on the internet network, the availability of internet data packages, and redundant tasks are the weaknesses of online learning. Students tend to want learning to be carried out face-to-face and online (blended learning) during the Covid-19 pandemicPenelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan pembelajaran ekonomi di sekolah menengah yang dilaksanakan secara online selama pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui metode survey dengan cara memberikan angket kepada responden. Respoden penelitian berjumlah 216 siswa. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan cara menjelaskan frequensi, persentase, dan skor rata-rata atas tanggapan yang diberikan oleh responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran online guru lebih banyak memberikan tugas disamping juga menyampaikan materi pelajaran, interaksi multi arah antara guru dan siswa sudah terbangun, siswa masih mengalami kesulitan untuk memahami materi pelajaran, siswa menganggap pembelajaran online yang dilaksanakan dari rumah cukup membosankan, siswa sudah mempunyai kesiapan fasilitas. Tidak perlu datang ke sekolah, fleksibel, serta hemat waktu dan biaya merupakan kelebihan dari pembelajaran online. Sedangkan sangat tergantung jaringan internet, ketersediaan paket data internet, dan tugas yang berlebihan menjadi kelemahan pembelajaran online. Siswa cederung menginginkan pembelajaran dapat dilaksanakan secara tatap muka dan dengan cara online (blended learning) selama pandemi Covid-19
