    This study aims to determine the impact of the principal's decision-making on improving the quality of education at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan. To achieve this goal, the researchers used data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Students and teachers are the source of the research and the data is processed using a qualitative descriptive analysis to determine the impact of the Principal's Decision Making on improving the quality of Education at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan. The results of the study show that: (1) The impact of the Principal's Decision Making at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan shows very significant results (2) Students at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan are very responsive and able to improve student achievement (3) The Impact of Influence on the Decision Making of the Principal towards teachers at SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan is very strong and shows positive results for the teaching and learning process at school.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Dampak Pengambilan Keputusan Kepala Sekolah bagi peningkatan mutu Pendidikan di SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut maka peneliti menggunakan teknik  pengumpulan  data  melalui  wawancara,  observasi,  dan  dokumentasi.   Siswa, guru menjadi sumber dari penelitian  dan Data di analisa dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengetahui dampak Pengambilan Keputusan Kepala Sekolah bagi peningkatan mutu Pendidikan di SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Dampak Pengambilan Keputusan Kepala Sekolah SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan berada menunjukkan hasil yang sangat signifikan (2) Siswa di SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli Selatan sangat merespon dan mampu meningkatkan prestasi siswa (3) Dampak Pengaruh Pengambilan Keputusan Kepala Sekolah terhadap Guru di SMP Negeri 3 Gunungsitoli selatan sangat kuat dan menununjukkan hasil positif bagi proses belajar mengajar di sekolah

    Civic Value and Political Interest as Determinants of Political Participation Among Primary School Teachers in Oyo State

    The purpose of this study was to examine civic value and political interest as determinants of political participation among primary school teachers in Oyo state. Five hundred participants constituted the study’s sample out of which only 476 were used after data administration. Both the independent and dependent variables were measured with validated instruments with 0.91 reliability co-efficient and the data obtained was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation (PPMC) Statistical method. Two research hypotheses were formulated and tested at 0.05 level of significance. The result showed that there was significant relationship between civic value and political participation among primary school teachers (r= .813; p<0.05) as well as between political interest and political participation among primary school teachers (r= .701; p<0.05). The implication of this showed that civic value and political interest had significant impacts on political participation among primary school teachers. In view of these findings, it was recommended that educational stakeholders should intensify their effort to institute a culture of civic value in the institution so as to improve on the level of political participation among primary school teachers

    This study aims to analyze the suitability of coaching learning techniques to implement the Pancasila student profile strengthening project in Indonesian subjects at SMPN 1 Muara Bungo. The theme of a sustainable lifestyle with the topic of sustainable tourism was chosen because Muara Bungo Regency has tourism objects and potential for environmental-based tourism. This research is development research using the Borg & Gall development model and adapted to the coaching technique and the Guide to the Development of Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Projects published by the Education Standards, Curriculum and Assessment Agency, Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. The results of the study found that the coaching technique was suitable to be applied in extracurricular activities of the Pancasila student profile strengthening project in Indonesian subjects for persuasive speech material.     Project Based Learning: An Attempt To Develop Student'S Academic Writing Skills

    This study aims to see the effectiveness of project based learning on the academic writing skills of STIE Dwi Sakti Baturaja students. The research method used in this study was a pre-experiment with a research design of One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample of this study amounted to 60 students. The data collection technique used a test technique which was divided into pretest and posttest. The data processing technique used a t-test calculation with the SPSS 20 program. The results showed that project based learning was effective on students' academic writing skills. Furthermore, students who can improve their score at least 10 points better than the score they get from the initial test with a score above 90 there are 11 students. Furthermore, students who have a score of more than 78 there are 14 students. A total of 35 students got a minimum score of 78 after using PBL in their writing activities

    Hubungan Aktualisasi Diri dan Kemampuan Komunikasi dengan Adaptabilitas Karier Abad 21 Siswa SMK di Kota Malang

    The 21st century has a major impact on the world of work, where students are required to have 21st century skills. Students must be able to plan a career, be able to adapt and be able to master today's technology (21st century career adaptability) (Y). Factors that influence are self actualization (X1) and communication skills (X2). This study aims to determine: (1) Description of X1, X2, Y, (2) Relationship of X1 to Y; (3) Relationship of X2 with Y, (4) Relationship of X1 and X2 with Y. This research is an Ex Post Facto using quantitative research methods. This study uses a saturated type purposive sampling technique as many as 97 respondents. Variables X1, X2 and Y have the level of reliability in sequence are 0.903, 0.831, and 0.885. The Effective Contribution Value at X1 and X2 is 46,92% and 27.98%. The Relative Contribution Value at X1 and X2 is 63% and 37%. The conclusions of this study are (1) Positive and significant relationship between X1 and Y, X2 and Y; (2) positive and significant relationship between X1 and X2 simultaneously with Y.   Keywords: 21st Century Career Adaptability, Self Actualization, Communication SkillAbad 21 berdampak besar bagi dunia kerja, dimana mahasiswa dituntut memiliki keterampilan abad 21. Mahasiswa harus mampu merencanakan karir, mampu beradaptasi dan mampu menguasai teknologi masa kini (kemampuan beradaptasi karir abad 21) (Y). Faktor yang mempengaruhi adalah aktualisasi diri (X1) dan keterampilan komunikasi (X2). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Deskripsi X1, X2, Y, (2) Hubungan X1 dengan Y; (3) Hubungan X2 dengan Y, (4) Hubungan X1 dan X2 dengan Y. Penelitian ini merupakan Ex Post Facto dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling tipe jenuh sebanyak 97 responden. Variabel X1, X2 dan Y memiliki tingkat reliabilitas secara berurutan yaitu 0,903, 0,831, dan 0,885. Nilai Kontribusi Efektif pada X1 dan X2 adalah 46,92% dan 27,98%. Nilai Kontribusi Relatif pada X1 dan X2 adalah 63% dan 37%. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah (1) hubungan positif dan signifikan antara X1 dan Y, X2 dan Y; (2) hubungan positif dan signifikan antara X1 dan X2 secara simultan dengan Y.     Kemampuan Inkuiri Siswa SMP dalam Pembelajaran IPA Memanfaatkan Media E-LKPD

    This study aims to describe the inquiry ability of junior high school students during science learning using the E-LKPD media. The instrument was E-LKPD media integration of inquiry abilities. Data collection technique in this study uses result of instrument with data analysis technique used is N-Gain test. The results obtained showed the average ability of inquiry at the first meeting was 58.25 to the second meeting with a score of 65.03 then to the third meeting was 76.86. Inquiry ability of each individual also increased, in the first N-gain test students was 71.88% of low criteria, 21.88% of medium criteria, and 6.25% of high criteria. Meanwhile, in the second N-gain test, it was obtained that 53.13% of students had low improvement, 31.25% of students had moderate improvement, and 15.63% of students had high improvement. So it can be concluded that the average inquiry ability of students has increased at each meeting during the learning process by using the E-LKPD media

    A The Effect of Project-Based Microeconomics Learning on Problem-Solving Ability Viewed from Cognitive Style

    This study sought to ascertain the impact of project-based learning on cognitive style-based problem-solving abilities.The population was 70 students of the Economic Education Department at the University of Bhinneka PGRI. The experimental class with  35 students used the project-based method and the control class with 35 students used the discussion method. The data on field independent, field dependent, and problem-solving skills were gathered via a test utilizing a subjective test instrument. Two-way Anova was utilized for data analysis. The findings demonstrated that: 1) project-based learning significantly improved students' problem-solving abilities as compared to the discussion method. 2) Field Independent and Field Dependent cognitive types differed significantly. 3) The approach and cognitive style of problem-solving have a strong link. This research demonstrated how problem-solving abilities in Field Independent and Field Dependent students were efficiently fostered through project-based learning.Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis proyek terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah berbasis gaya kognitif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah 70 mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Bhinneka PGRI. Kelas eksperimen dengan 35 siswa menggunakan metode project-based dan kelas kontrol dengan 35 siswa menggunakan metode diskusi. Pengumpulan data keterampilan field independent, field dependent, dan problem solving melalui tes menggunakan instrumen tes subjektif. Anova dua arah digunakan untuk analisis data. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa: 1) pembelajaran berbasis proyek secara signifikan meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dibandingkan dengan metode diskusi. 2) Tipe kognitif Field Independent dan Field Dependent berbeda secara signifikan. 3) Pendekatan dan gaya kognitif pemecahan masalah memiliki kaitan yang kuat. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada siswa Field Independent dan Field Dependent secara efisien dipupuk melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek

    The Influence of Psychological Capital and Person Organization Fit on Teacher Performance with Organizational Commitment as Mediation

    The teacher is a key element in the education system, especially in schools because of the teacher's role in transforming knowledge in education. Therefore, schools can improve teacher performance in order to achieve predetermined educational goals. This article will analyze the influence of psychological capital and person organization fit on teacher performance by mediating organizational commitment. This research uses quantitative analysis. The population in this study were 108 teachers of Junior High School in Bantarbolang District. Analysis of data techniques used regression analysis. The results of the research on model 1 show that psychological capital and person organization fit have a positive effect on organizational. In model 2, psychological capital and organizational commitment have a positive effect on teacher performance while organizational people do not. The results of the mediation test show that organizational influence does not mediate the effect of psychological capital on teacher performance, but organizational commitment mediates.&nbsp

    Moderating influence of parental engagement on impact of attention span on students’ academic achievement in Senior Secondary School Computer Studies

    This study investigated the impacts of attention span and parental engagement on students’ academic achievement in Computer Studies. It also determined the moderating influence of parental engagement on the impact of attention span on learners’ academic achievement. A descriptive research design was adopted. The study population comprised all the SS 2 students offering Computer Studies in public senior secondary schools in Sagamu Local Government Area of Ogun State. Two hundred students were selected randomly from ten randomly selected schools. Attention Span Rating Scale (r=0.78) and Students’ Perceived Parental Engagement Questionnaire (r=0.82), and Computer Studies Achievement Test (r=0.62), were used for data collection. The data collected were analyzed using simple percentages and multiple regression at a 0.05 level of significance. The findings revealed significant impacts of attention span, F(1, 198)= 101.207, p<0.05, and parental engagement, F(1, 198)= 12.346, p<0.05 on students’ academic achievement in Computer  Studies. The study also established the joint impact of attention span and parental engagement impacted students’ academic achievement, F(2, 197)= 59.168 p<0.05, but no significant moderating influence of parental engagement on the impact of attention span on students’ academic achievement t(196) = 0.301, p>0.05. It is recommended that teachers adopt active learning strategies for their students. Parents should dissuade their children from the extensive use of mobile technologies, which could dwindle their attention span. &nbsp
