    Vocational students as prospective workers are important to have independence of career decision at industry 4.0 (Y) so that can keep up and compete with the era. Adversity quotient (X1) and mastery goal orientation (X2) are needed as aspects that support independence of career decision at industry 4.0 (Y). This study aims to determine: (1) description of Y, X1, and X2; (2) relationship of X1 with Y; (3) relationship of X2 with Y; and (4) relationship of X1 and X2 with Y. This research is an Ex Post Facto using quantitative research methods. The reliability levels of the Y, X1, and X2 variable questionnaires are 0.846, 0.872, and 0.880, respectively. The effective contribution of X1 is 33.8%, X2 is 42.8% and the relative contribution of X1 is 44.1% and X2 is 55.9%. The conclusions of this study are: (1) X1, X2, and Y levels are in the high category; (2) there is a positive and partially significant relationship between X1 and Y, X2 and Y, and X1 and X2 simultaneously with Y.Siswa SMK sebagai calon tenaga kerja penting untuk memiliki kemandirian dalam menentukan karier di era industri 4.0 (Y) agar dapat mengikuti dan bersaing dengan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) deskripsi Y, X1, dan X2; (2) hubungan X1 dengan Y; (3) hubungan X2 dengan Y; (4) hubungan X1 dan X2 dengan Y. Penelitian ini merupakan Ex Post Facto dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Tingkat reliabilitas kuesioner variabel Y, X1, dan X2 berturut-turut adalah 0.846, 0.872, dan 0.880. Sumbangan efektif X1 sebesar 33.8% dan X2 sebesar 42.8% serta sumbangan relatif X1 sebesar 44.1% dan X2 sebesar 55.9%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) tingkat X1, X2, dan Y berada pada kategori tinggi; (2) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan secara parsial antara X1 dan Y, X2 dan Y, serta X1 dan X2 secara simultan dengan Y

    Character education can be done by giving a wise words that is displayed on the school wall. The existing character education consists of 5 aspects which contain 15 values of character education. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research method that examines the content of character education values in wise words which are analyzed in the study of meaning. The wise words contains 6 values of character education consisting of tolerance values, religious values, discipline values, values for appreciating achievements, values for hard work, and values for responsibility. Found in the semantic meaning, namely narrow meaning. Broad meaning, connotative meaning, emotive meaning, referential meaning, construction meaning, lexical meaning, grammatical meaning, ideational meaning, propositional meaning, central meaning, pictorial meaning, idiomatic meaning. In the wise words, it is found that there is a study of the semantic meaning and the value of character education that is fulfilled according to the identification.Pendidikan karakter karakter bisa dilakukan dengan memberikan kalimat mutiara yang ditampilkan pada dinding sekolah. pendidikan karakter yang ada terdiri dari 5 aspek yang memuat 15  nilai  pendidikan karakter. Penelitian  dilakukan dengan  cara  metode  penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mengkaji muatan nilai pendidikan karakter pada kalimat mutiara dan makna semantik pada kalimat mutiara. kalimat mutiara mengandung 6 nilai dari pendidikan karakter terdiri nilai toleransi, nilai relijius, nilai disiplin, nilai menghargai prestasi, nilai kerja keras, dan nilai tanggung jawab. Ditemukan pada makna semantik yaitu Makna sempit. Makna luas, Makna konotatif, Makna emotif, Makna referensial, Makna konstruksi, Makna leksikal, Makna gramatikal, Makna ideasional, Makna proposisi, Makna pusat, Makna pictorial, Makna idiomatik. pada kalimat mutiara ditemukan terdapat kajian makna semantic dan nilai pendidikan karakter yang terpenuhi sesuai identifikasi

    Dialogic communication plays a remarkably substantial role in sustaining good interactions between teachers and students in the shared-learning process inside the class. Within a case study approach, this research explores dialogic communication's role in increasing teacher-student interaction in Eksperimental Mangunan Elementary School's shared-learning process. The research's data collected through in-depth interviews with two teachers and six students combined with external observations. There are three notable findings: the teachers act as a facilitator who helps and motivate students; the teachers act as a midwife who helps students in the shared-learning process; and students act as subjects of open and participatory learners. A comfortable atmosphere in the shared-learning process helps to increase students' participation. This research intended to provide an overview of the importance of applying dialogical communication in the shared-learning process

    This report discusses the extent of compliance of a higher education institution in Isabela, Philippines with the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System. An internal audit for clauses 4 to 9.1 of the QMS was conducted to determine the extent of QMS implementation and to identify areas of conformities, opportunities for improvement, and nonconformities. Out of the 215 findings, 177 are conformities (Cs); 25 are nonconformities (NCs); while 13 are opportunities for improvement (OFIs). The strengths of the organization include its understanding of its context, leadership of the top management, existence of planned actions to address risks and availability of almost all significant documents that support compliance and/or sustain the quality operations. Areas that need to be improved and complied include inadequate manpower for quality activities, unmet targets, and lack of control for externally provided products and services. Actions to address these findings are provided. Thus, the organization is highly recommended to carry out the corrective actions as soon as possible for continual improvement

    Integrasi Al-Quran dan Sains sebagai Ciri Khas Madrasah: Sebuah Persepsi Guru IPA Madrasah Tsanawiyah

    The integration of the Qur'an and science is one of the characteristics of madrasah. However, there are differences of opinion among teachers about the obligation to carry out science learning that is integrated with the Qur'an. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research on how teachers perceive the integration of the Qur'an and science in learning. This study uses a quantitavie approach. The data collection method was through the survey by giving questionnaires to teachers who are members of the MGMP IPA MTs throughout the city of Padang. Of the 50 teachers who are members of the MGMP there are 47 teachers who fill out the questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out descriptively. The results of this study indicate that the majority of teachers agree that the form of the relationship between science and the Koran is integrated. However, in implementing the integration of Al-Quran and Science, it should not only be the responsibility of the science teacher, but also the role of the religious teacher. Teachers also feel the need to take part in various trainings in order to be able to carry out science learning that is integrated with the Qur'an properly.Integrasi Al-Qur’an dan Sains merupakan salah satu ciri khas Madrasah. Namun, terdapat perbedaan pendapat di kalangan guru tentang kewajiban melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA yang terintegrasi dengan Al-Qur'an. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang bagaimana persepsi guru tentang integrasi Al-Qur'an dan Sains dalam pembelajaran, khususnya dalam pembelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei dengan memberikan angket kepada guru-guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP IPA MTs se-Kota Padang. Dari 50 guru yang tergabung dalam MGMP terdapat 47 guru yang mengisi angket. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan  sebagian besar guru setuju bahwa bentuk hubungan antara Sains dan Al-Qur'an adalah terintegrasi. Namun, dalam melaksanakan integrasi Al-Quran dan Sains, seharusnya tidak hanya menjadi tanggung jawab guru IPA, tetapi juga menjadi tanggungjawab guru Agama. Guru juga merasa perlu mengikuti berbagai pelatihan agar mampu melaksanakan pembelajaran IPA yang terintegrasi dengan Al-Qur’an dengan baik

    This article presents a study of Pancasila as a way of life for the Indonesian nation, specifically in the administration of education. This paper reveals how the universal values in Pancasila play a role in the practice of education towards the prosperity of the nation. This article combines practices in higher education and in non-formal education. This article was written using the bibliography method to provide a comparison of each scientific reference about the study written. This paper shows that the precepts in Pancasila are the crystallization of all disciplines and important aspects of life. Pancasila is the simplicity of complexity from science. Education should be based on values, governance, and prosperity. How knowledge becomes the basis of character that is managed with an awareness of the growth of social justice for all and is oriented towards encouraging the prosperity of the nation.Artikel ini menyajikan kajian tentang Pancasila sebagai suatu pandangan hidup Bangsa Indonesia, secara khusus dalam penyelenggaraan Pendidikan. Tulisan ini mengungkap tentang bagaimana nilai-nilai universal dalam Pancasila berperan dalam praktik Pendidikan untuk menuju kemakmuran bangsa. Artikel ini mengombinasi antara praktik pada Pendidikan tinggi dan pada Pendidikan nonformal.     Practicability of Blooms Mastery Learning Approach in Public Secondary Schools in Lagos Metropolis

    The applicability of theories at times are occasioned by societal norms as it is a known fact that theorist are influenced by their immediate society.  Hence, situation where most classes are overcrowded, one would begin to wonder if theory like Blooms mastery learning could be applicable Hence, this study investigated the applicability of mastery learning in public senior school as perceived by teachers. The study used descriptive survey research type. Two hundred and thirty teachers were sampled from public senior secondary schools in Kosofe local government area of Lagos. Teachers’ perception on the applicability of Mastery Learning (TPABML) was designed by the researcher to measure teachers perception, the instrument was validated with reliability index of 0.84. Data collected was analysed using mean score, percentages and independent t-test of significance. Findings showed that mastery leaning is not practicable in public senior secondary as perceived by teachers. The study also finds significant difference between teachers with post-graduate qualification and teachers with first degree, but no significant difference was found based on teachers experience. The study recommends that teachers should change their orientation and make efforts to apply mastery learning as it has recorded positive results when used.  Keywords: Blooms mastery Learning, Perception, Practicabilit

    Mathematics is one of the cognitive aspects that must be introduced to children at an early age to achieve a standard of cognitive development called the Child Development Achievement Level Standard (STPPA) as stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 137 of 2014. One of the basic learning Mathematics is a child recognizes the concept of numbers and understands numbers. So that children's understanding is in accordance with the concept, children must learn mathematics from concrete objects and by playing. the introduction of values ​​and numbers in children aged 2-8 years children need concrete objects, because at this age, children recognize concepts using symbols. This study aims to find a strategy for learning mathematics to recognize values ​​and numbers through play and concrete objects in early childhood. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with literature study method.     Pengembangan Supervisi Elektronik untuk Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru di SD Negeri 02 Percontohan Bukittinggi Sumatera Barat

    This research aims to develop electronic supervision which consists of elecctronic supervision hardware, step by step electronic supervision, working procedure electronic supervision, feed back and follow up electronic supervision, and to describe teacher performance after developing electronic supervision. This research uses qualitative descriptive approach. The design is action research. The informan are the teachers and school principal of SD Negeri 02 Percontohan Bukittinggi West Sumatera. The method of data collection: interviews, observations, and documentation. The technique to determine data validation: credibility, transferability, dependabilitu, and confirmability. The data analize: data redection, data display and data conclusion. The result proved that before development: electronic supervision hardware only can be used in principal room with one computer, supervisor don’t understand about step by step electronic supervision, supervisor have no working procedure of electronic supervision, feed back and follow up the electronic supervision haven’t done rapidly. Teacher performance is no so good in class room management, learning and teaching activity, and communicating with the student. After development: electronic supervision hardware developed rapidly, supervisor can supervisi the teacher in all over the school with some computer,  laptop, and handphone also. Supervisor understood electronic supervision procedure, feed back and follow up of electronic supervision done by making agreement with the teacher. And teacher performance is good enough especially in class room management, learning and teaching activity and communicating with the student

    Pesan Moral Dalam Lirik Lagu Aku Bukan Jodohnya Karya Tri Suaka

    Komunikasi merupakan hal penting agar manusia bisa berinteraksi dengan tujuan menciptakan arti maupun pesan kepada perorangan atau kelompok. Dan dalam penyampaian pesan bisa menggunakan media, salah satunya ialah lagu yang terdiri dari music dan lirik karena dianggap sebagai medium yang layak dan memadai untuk menyalurkan pikiran, harapan, ataupun pesan khusus dan moral kepada khalayak. Diantara sekian lagu yang viral pada Januari 2022 adalah Aku Bukan Jodohnya karya Tri Suaka, sehinggan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pesan moral yang terkandung di dalamnya. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik simak catat lalu dianalisis isinya dan terakhir menyimpulkan. Adapun hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa Pesan Moral dalam Lirik Lagu Aku Bukan Jodohnya Karya Tri Suaka antara lain adalah pesan psikologis seperti keihklasan, kepasrahan dan ketegaran hati, lalu pesan kritik sosial yaitu berbuat baik kepada orang yang menyakiti kita dan terakhir adalah pesan religius yakni percaya akan takdir
