    The community service promotes tourism potentials in Kabupaten Bener Meriah, particularly the waterfall in Desa Pulo Intan, Dusun Emun Berkune. This service activity inspired ecotourism in two ways: 1). help the community manage and develop the Pulo Intan waterfall eco-tourism area, 2) help people and communities identify assets, monitor, and evaluate waterfall ecotourism development. The Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach—discovery (find), dream (dream), design (design), define (determine), destiny—is used in this service activity. The University Community Engagement (UCE) theory underpins this service by emphasizing community participation in higher education concepts and practice design. The capacity-building theory is in favor of this service. This service includes 1) AI (Appreciative Inquiry) and asset mapping. 2) ABCD method sharing and core team FGD. 3). Sharing ABCD methods with assisted communities. 4). Workshop on improving tourism village marketing, management, and entrepreneurial motivation to strengthen human resources. 5). A productive and sustainable economic empowerment workshop. 6). Focus group discussion (FGD), evaluation, and community service output recommendations. Tourism will grow and progress if it is managed properly and sustainably. To develop the Pulo Intan waterfall eco-tourism area, 1) the regional government of Bener Meriah Regency should develop human resources for the village community. 2). Creating a tourist attraction requires collaboration with many parties, especially the local government.Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mengangkat potensi pariwisata di Kabupaten Bener Meriah, khususnya air terjun di Desa Pulo Intan, Dusun Emun Berkune. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menginspirasi ekowisata dalam dua hal: 1). membantu masyarakat mengelola dan mengembangkan kawasan ekowisata air terjun Pulo Intan, 2) membantu masyarakat dan komunitas mengidentifikasi aset, memantau, dan mengevaluasi pengembangan ekowisata air terjun. Pendekatan Asset Based Community Development (ABCD)—menemukan, mengimpikan, merancang, mendefinisikan, takdir—digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini. Teori University Community Engagement (UCE) mendasari kegiatan ini dengan menekankan partisipasi masyarakat dalam konsep dan desain praktik pendidikan tinggi. Didukung dengan teori peningkatan kapasitas, kegiatan ini mencakup 1) AI (Appreciative Inquiry) dan pemetaan aset. 2) Sharing metode ABCD dan FGD tim inti. 3). Berbagi metode ABCD dengan masyarakat binaan. 4). Lokakarya peningkatan pemasaran, pengelolaan, dan motivasi kewirausahaan desa wisata untuk penguatan sumber daya manusia. 5). Lokakarya pemberdayaan ekonomi yang produktif dan berkelanjutan. 6). Focus Group Discussion (FGD), evaluasi, dan rekomendasi keluaran pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pariwisata akan tumbuh dan maju jika dikelola dengan baik dan berkelanjutan. Untuk mengembangkan kawasan ekowisata air terjun Pulo Intan, 1). pemerintah daerah Kabupaten Bener Meriah harus mengembangkan sumber daya manusia bagi masyarakat desa. 2).     Al-Achsaniyyah Islamic Boarding School is one of the boarding schools that handles children with disabilities, especially autism. This cottage has a companion who must accompany children with disabilities at all times. The behavior of children with special needs that is difficult to control and demands extra attention in their daily lives is one of the sources of stress experienced by caregivers. On the other hand, some companions who are young mothers often find it difficult to divide their roles and time as mothers and wives, while remaining professional in carrying out their duties as companions for children with special needs. The role conflict experienced by these companions also triggers stress, because they feel required to complete all their obligations well. Not all companions have the ability to handle stress and regulate emotions well when experiencing stress, so they become more sensitive, irritable and less enthusiastic about working when experiencing stress. Therefore, the aim of this service is to conduct DURASI training or emotional regulation training for companions of children with disabilities so that they have good emotional regulation skills when dealing with stressful conditions. Emotion regulation is an individual's ability to assess, overcome, manage and express appropriate emotions in order to achieve emotional balance. The steps taken in this mentoring process are: preparation, filling out the consent form as a training participant, training duration, coaching (strengthening emotional regulation abilities), and evaluating the results of the service. The number of training participants was 30 people. This training was held on August 5 2023 in Building R, Faculty of Psychology. DURASI Training consists of 3 sessions and lasts 3 hours. During the training, the facilitators involved looked very enthusiastic because some of them were active in the discussion process. The results of this service showed that the ABK companions had insight into the importance of emotional regulation to maintain mental health and work enthusiasm, and had the basic ability to manage their negative emotions.Pondok Pesantren Al-Achsaniyyah merupakan salah satu pondok yang menangani anak-anak disabilitas, khususnya autisme. Pondok ini memiliki pendamping yang harus mendampingi anak disabilitas setiap waktu. Perilaku anak berkebutuhan khusus yang sulit untuk dikontrol dan menuntut perhatian ekstra dalam kesehariannya menjadi salah satu sumber stres yang dialami para pendamping. Disisi lain, sebagian pendamping yang merupakan ibu-ibu muda, sering merasakan kesulitan antara membagi peran dan waktu sebagai ibu dan istri, sekaligus tetap profesional dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai pendamping bagi anak-anak berkebutuhan khusus. Konflik peran yang dialami para pendamping ini juga memicu terjadinya stres, karena mereka merasa dituntut untuk menyelesaikan semua kewajibannya tersebut dengan baik. Belum semua pendamping memiliki kemampuan koping stres dan regulasi emosi yang baik ketika mengalami stres, sehingga menjadi lebih sensitif, mudah marah, dan kurang bersemangat dalam bekerja ketika mengalami stres. Oleh karena itu, [Editor1] .[W12] tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah melakukan Pelatihan DURASI atau pelatihan regulasi emosi kepada para pendamping anak disabilitas agar memiliki ketrampilan regulasi emosi yang baik saat menghadapi kondisi stres. Regulasi emosi adalah kemampuan individu untuk menilai, mengatasi, mengelola, dan mengungkapkan emosi yang tepat guna mencapai keseimbangan emosional. Langkah-langkah yang dilakukan dalam proses pendampingan ini yaitu: persiapan, pengisian form persetujuan sebagai peserta pelatihan, pelatihan durasi, coaching (Penguatan kemampuan regulasi emosi), serta evaluasi hasil pengabdian. Jumlah partisipan pelatihan sebanyak 30 orang. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 5 Agustus 2023 di Gedung R Fakultas Psikologi. Pelatihan DURASI terdiri atas 3 sesi dan berlangsung selama 3 jam. Selama pelatihan, pendamping yang terlibat terlihat sangat antusias karena beberapa diantaranya aktif dalam proses diskusi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini didapatkan bahwa pendamping ABK sudah memiliki wawasan tentang pentingnya regulasi emosi untuk menjaga kesehatan jiwa dan semangat kerja, serta memiliki kemampuan dasar untuk mengelola emosi negatifnya

    Tulisan ini menguraikan kepemimpinan Husni Mubarak yang memimpin Mesir selama tiga puluh tahun. Penulisan ini bertujuan menjelaskan proses pengangkatan, pemilihan Husni Mubarak serta perkembangan peradaban Mesir pada masa pemerintahannya. Metode yang digunakan merupakan metode sejarah menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data studi literatur dengan mengumpulkan beberapa sumber tertulis dari berbagai artikel dan buku mengenai Husni Mubarak kemudian disatukan dalam bentuk tulisan. Hasil tulisan ini mengurai proses pengangkatan dan pemilihan Husni Mubarak sebagai Presiden Mesir. Kemudian menjabarkan perkembangan peradaban Islam dalam berbagai aspek semenjak terpilihnya Husni Mubarak sebagai Presiden Mesir pada tahun 1981 dan lengser dari jabatan pada tahun 2011 dalam peristiwa Arab Spring.     Reformasi terjadi di Indonesia pada tahun 1998, beragam peristiwa terjadi dan membuat perubahan besar-besaran di Indonesia baik dari bidang sosial, politik, ekonomi, hukum dan sebagainya. Hal ini disebabkan oleh masyarakat yang ingin menuntut perubahan terhadap Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode sejarah dengan langkah-langkah seperti berikut; heuristik, kritik, interprestasi dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian menjukkan bahwa pada tahun 1998, sistem birokrasi Indonesia belum menunjukkan manfaat nyata untuk rakyat, sehingga terjadi gerakan reformasi besar-besaran untuk menuntut perubahan sistem birokrasi Indonesia, pada peristiwa itu Soeharto dilengserkan dari kursi kepresidenan dan reformasi dirombak secara besar-besaran ditandai dengan era baru

    The aim of this study is to examine a leadership of school principals in the context of education whether is crucial, especially in the modern era. Person who asked as a good manager. It is filled with challenges and changes. The leadership of school principals based on Islamic perspectives, emphasizing values of justice, integrity, and responsibility. In the digital and informational era, school principals are required to be adaptive and innovative leaders while adhering to Islamic principles.This research employs a qualitative method with an in-depth analysis of the characteristics of leadership in accordance with Islamic teachings. The findings indicate that principals who applied Islamic values can create a conducive and competitive learning environment. Additionally, this study provides recommendations for the future development of school leadership, while considering the role of religionin shaping the character and ethics of leaders in the field of education that very give significance in the modern era

    Museums as Spaces for History Learning and Educational Tourism : Shaping Students’ Creativity and Understanding

    Museums are often underutilised as learning resources, despite their great potential to enhance students' historical understanding and creativity. This lack of utilisation results in limited in-depth and enjoyable learning experiences for students. This research aims to identify the benefits of museums as a source of learning history and its role as an educational tourism destination. The method used is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that museum visits as an outdoor learning model can improve students' understanding, create a more enjoyable learning atmosphere, and encourage student creativity. In addition, the museum also acts as an educational tourism destination that enriches people's insights about cultural heritage. The findings emphasise the importance of museum integration in the educational process and as a means of educational tourism, by providing practical recommendations for teachers and educational institutions to make optimal use of museums in learning activities

    Relevansi Prinsip Pesantren Sami’na wa Atho’na dalam Filsafat Etika Immanuel Kant

    This study examines the values embedded in the pesantren education system that form a patron-client relationship between kiai and santri. This relationship is characterized by the characteristics of imbalance, individuality, and breadth, which are reflected in pesantren educational literature such as Kitab Ta'lim Muta'allim. Qualitative methods will be used in writing this article, with qualitative methods integrating field research and literature studies to explore the relevance between the pesantren ethical principle of sami'na wa atho'na which means "we hear and we obey" with Immanuel Kant's ethical philosophy, particularly the ethical theory of obligation or deontology. Kant, who lived in the 18th century, developed an ethical concept centered on the categorical imperative and the importance of good will and the autonomy of the will, which emphasized universal moral obligation and the attainment of eternal happiness. This article highlights how the principle of sami'na wa atho'na is still relevant and respected in the context of pesantren, despite differences with modern educational approaches that encourage students to be more active and critical. This research provides insight into how traditional pesantren values survive and interact with modern ethical concepts, as well as their implications for the dynamics of education and morality in Indonesia

    Penelitian ini membahas tentang perbandingan metode principal component regression dan regresi ridge dalam mengatasi masalah multikolinearitas pada data Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) di Provinsi Sumatera Barat. Penelitian menggunakan data yang diambil dari Badan Pusat Statistika Sumatera Barat pada tahun 2023. Kedua metode tersebut akan dibandingkan berdasarkan nilai  dan RSE. Nilai  yang dihasilkan principal component regression  (93,2%)  regresi ridge (84,89%), begitu juga dengan nilai  principal component regression (92,8%)  regresi ridge (84,89%). Sedangkan nilai RSE principal component regression (0,2683)   RSE regresi ridge (0,4). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa model terbaik yang diperoleh untuk mengatasi masalah multikolinearitas pada data IPM Provinsi Sumatera Barat adalah principal component regression

    Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Pop Up Book Pada Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI)

    This research is based on the problems found in MTsN 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat, namely learning media that is not yet varied. The source of teaching materials used by teachers is printed books. In solving this problem, the researcher developed a pop-up book learning media. Pop Up Book is a book that has three-dimensional elements or can move when the page is opened. The purpose of this study is to produce Pop Up Book learning media in the subject of Islamic Cultural History that has been tested for feasibility by material experts and media experts. And to find out students' responses to Pop Up Books in the subject of Islamic Cultural History. This study uses a 4-D development model (define, design, development, and disseminate). The research respondents consisted of 3 material experts, 1 media expert and 32 class VII A students of MTsN 1 Tanjung Jabung Barat. The data collection technique used a questionnaire to collect material quality data, media quality data and student response data. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistical techniques. Based on the results of this study, the results of the validation of the material experts as a whole were included in the "Very Feasible" category with a score percentage of 95 percent. The overall media expert validation results are included in the category of "Very Eligible" with a score percentage of 91 percent. The results of student responses to the media obtained a score of 99 percent with the category of "Good". Thus, the PopUp Book learning media in the Subject of Islamic Cultural History, Material on the Strategy of Prophet Muhammad's Preaching in Mecca is very good to use in the learning process

    Baghdadiyah's Method in Learning the Qur'an: An Analysis and Relevances

    The Baghdadiyah method is one of the traditional methods of learning the Qur'an that has been used for centuries, especially in Islamic boarding schools and madrasas. Although this method is known to be systematic and gradual in teaching hijaiyah and tajwid letters, the challenge of modernization has become relevant along with the advancement of educational technology. This research aims to explore the relevance of the Baghdadiyah Method in the digital era as well as the challenges and opportunities of its integration with technology. With a qualitative approach through literature review, this study identifies that, although the Baghdadiyah Method has strength in learning the basics of reading the Qur'an, this method tends to be monotonous and less adaptive to technology. Therefore, the innovation of the Baghdadiyah method and training for teachers is very important to maintain the relevance of this method. With the right integration, the Baghdadiyah Method can be more attractive and effective for the younger generation who are more familiar with digital media. In conclusion, this method can remain an option in learning the Qur'an by adjusting to the times
