Get PDFThis research investigates how detik.com, an online media, frames news about bullying cases that occur among junior high school students in Cilacap. This qualitative research has a descriptive design. Data processing uses framing analysis – using Zhondang Pan and Gerald M. Kosicki’s framing model – which looks at four framing elements in a news story. This research investigates three categories of news on detik.com on 27,29 September 2023 and 2 Oktober 2023. Based on this research, detik.com used the inverted pyramid technique in reporting cases of harassment at Cilacap Middle School. The first of the news displays the main discussion topic. Apart from that, news writers obtain some data from sources’ statements. The news structure uses 5W + 1H and there are not many quotes from sources

Get PDFThis research is important because it sees the phenomenon that there are still many religious issues related to women's specific problems that have not been completely answered. Women's limited knowledge regarding women-specific issues leads to violations of Islamic teachings, both related to menstruation, junub, and household responsibilities. Balanced explanations and information regarding women's problems are often not obtained from male missionaries, and sometimes it even seems that there are subjective nuances that position women as objects of blame. The research was conducted using qualitative methods, research informants were congregations and active female preachers. Determining the informants using the next key informant using the snowball sampling technique. Data collection techniques use interviews, documentation studies and observation. This article explains that congregations need female missionaries to be able to discuss and share information regarding specific issues regarding women, the figure of a female missionary that the congregation wants includes having substantive competence and methodological competence. Female missionaries have quite high opportunities as evidenced by the community's enthusiastic acceptance of tabligh, while female missionaries face busy household duties, the place where tabligh is carried out is far from their domicile, and physical strength is not possible

The Israeli-Palestinian controversy set the stage for a significant shift in public opinion, and these hashtags became an important instrument in weaving complex online narratives. The aim of this research is to understand the impact of Cultural Communication through the hashtag #FreePalestine in transforming public opinion. Her focus includes online mobilization, influence on policy, changing international perceptions, and the formation of activist movements. This research method uses a mixed approach, combining qualitative and quantitative analysis. Social media analysis is conducted to track trends, sentiment, and networks of relationships, while interviews and surveys are used to gain a deeper understanding of the influence of these opinion transformations in the real world. This research shows that the hashtag #FreePalestine not only creates change in online opinion, but also mobilizes real action and shapes global narratives that influence policy and business. Cultural communication on social media is key to understanding further impact, with image visualization and visual solidarity being key elements in changing public opinion
Podcast-Based Learning: Effects of "English Vocabulary Booster Podcast" on Vocabulary Mastery in Eleventh Graders at SMAN 1 Pulau Panggung Tanggamus
No full textIn the era where digital media is revolutionizing education, podcasts have emerged as a powerful tool for enhancing language learning, particularly in expanding vocabulary skills. This study investigates the impact of the "English Vocabulary Booster Podcast" on Spotify on the vocabulary mastery of eleventh-grade students at SMAN 1 Pulau Panggung Tanggamus, Indonesia. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design, the research involved two classes: an experimental group using the podcast and a control group following traditional methods. Data collection included pre-tests and post-tests, with analysis via SPSS showing an improvement in the experimental group. it is observed that the experimental class exhibited a post-test mean score of 71.41 with a standard deviation of 7.321. The sample size (N) was 32, with a median score of 70.50, a variance of 53.604, and a minimum score of 60. In contrast, the control class demonstrated a post-test mean score of 62.13 with a standard deviation of 10.844. The sample size (N) for the control class was 31, with a median score of 64.00, a variance of 117.583, and a minimum score of 39. These statistics indicate a higher average performance in the experimental class compared to the control class, alongside a lower variability in scores. The results suggest that integrating podcasts into language learning can effectively enhance vocabulary mastery

Get PDFPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Auditory, Intelectualy, Repetition (AIR) pada pokok bahasan tema 7 peristiwa dalam kehidupan tema 2 Peristiwa seputar proklamasi kemerdekaan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas V SD Negeri 200212 padangsidimpuan yang berjumlah 62 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 siswa dari kelas Va yang diambil secara purposive. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar bentuk pilihan berganda sebanyak 20 soal yang telah dinyatakan valid dan reliabel, serta lembar angket untuk menilai si peneliti. Hasil pengumpulan data yang dilakukan diperoleh nilai mean sebesar 89,81 berada pada kategori “Sangat Baik”, Median sebesar 89,95 berada pada kategori “Sangat Baik”, dan modus sebesar 88,3 berada pada kategori “Sangat Baik”. 17 butir pernyataan dari observer diperoleh bahwa seluruh pernyataan dijawab dengan “Ya” artinya bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran mulai dari persiapan sampai kesimpulan berjalan dengan baik dan sesuai dengan tujuan yang hendak dicapai. Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai rata-rata pretest 68 dan rata-rata posttest 83,5. Hasil perhitungan pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan nilai thitung ttabel atau 13,14 2,04 yang artinya На diterima yaitu Penerapan Model Pembelajaran AIR Berpengaruh Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas V di SD Negeri 200212 Padangsidimpuan

One of the form of cultural heritage is Surowono Temple that is located on Kediri Regency. The condition of Surowono Temple is not well maintained and have very few visitors become reason that makes the research about this temple is very important to do. Whereas, Surowono temple is not too far from Kampung Inggris that always crowd as a destination to learn English language. This research aims to (1) know the history background of Surowono Temple, (2) know the story and character value of Sri Tanjung’s relief, (3) implemented the story and character value of the relief to become Wayang Sri Tanjung as a form of Surowono Temple conservation. This research uses qualitative methods. The data obtained is the result from interview, direct observation, documentation, and literature study. This result of this research show that: first, Surowono Temple is a monument from Majapahit Kingdom as a place of King Hayam Wuruk’s uncle funeral called Bhre Wengker. Second, Sri Tanjung’s relief describing sadness and regret Sidapaksa after kill his wife, Sri Tanjung. Murder is happen because Sri Tanjung slandered has been seduced King Sulakrama. From that story, we can take the value of loyalty and trust to the spouse. Third, the character value inside Sri Tanjung’s relief on Surowono Temple will be implemented through interesting media of wayang as a form of Surowono Temple conservation to the visitors of Kampung Inggris, youth organization, or can be added into the school learning. Wayang Sri Tanjung will be featured in 4 stages which is accompanied by Kidung Sri Tanjung as a companion song and will be narrated into English Language and Indonesian Language as a form of Pare subdistrict locality

Namun sangat memalukan masih banyaknya sekolah-sekolah yang tidak memikirkan kesejahteraan para tenaga kependidikan yang ada disekolahnya. Sehingga faktor itu menyebabkan menurunnya kompetensi tenaga profesional kependidikan. Untuk mampu mensejahterakan tenaga kependidikan maka dapat menggunakan metode reward. Pemberian reward yang baik dapat memberikan motivasi positif terhadap diri tenaga kependidikan untuk melakukan pekerjaan yang baik serta meningkatkan kompetensi profesionalnya sebagai seorang tenaga kependidikan . Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana dengan (SPSS) Ver 26. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh yang signifikan antara pemberian reward dengan kompetensi profesional tenaga kependidikan dari hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 26 di peroleh T hitung sebesar 9.348 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 ≤ 0,05. Maka Thitung Ttabel yaitu (9,348 2,030), dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 ≤ 0,05, yang berarti pemberian reward dengan kompetensi profesional tenaga kependidikan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan

No full textAsuransi Kesehatan merupakan suatu perlindungan keuangan untuk memberikan jaminan atas biaya pengobatan dan perawatan medis yang dibutuhkan seseorang ketika sakit. Asuransi Kesehatan dibagi menjadi dua kategori, yaitu Asuransi Kesehatan Individu dan Asuransi Kesehatan Kumpulan. Asuransi Kesehatan Kumpulan ditujukan untuk para karyawan dengan Perusahaan Pemberi Kerja sebagai pemegang polisnya. Pada umumnya, Asuransi Kesehatan Kumpulan memiliki kontrak polis yang berjangka satu tahun, dimana ketika polis tersebut sudah berakhir, maka akan dilakukan evaluasi ulang untuk menentukan premi lanjutan (renewal premium). Terdapat beberapa metode yang dapat digunakan untuk menetapkan tarif premi lanjutan pada Asuransi Kesehatan Kumpulan, diantaranya manual rating, experience rating, dan blended rating. Umumnya, perusahaan asuransi menggunakan metode experience rating untuk menghitung premi lanjutan karena metode ini menggunakan data pengalaman klaim dan biaya-biaya yang terjadi di masa lalu. Pada penelitian ini dijelaskan bagaimana proses perhitungan premi lanjutan menggunakan metode experience rating dengan loss ratio. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa proses perhitungan dapat dilakukan dengan empat tahap, yaitu: menghitung loss ratio, menghitung permissible loss ratio, menghitung gross rate, dan terakhir menghitung premi lanjutan (renewal premium). Berdasarkan studi kasus di PT ABC, akan diberikan dua kemungkinan dalam penentuan besar premi lanjutan. Kemungkinan pertama yaitu besar premi lanjutan akan naik (meningkat) dari premi awal. Sementara, kemungkinan keduanya yaitu besar premi lanjutan akan tetap sama pada premi awal sebelumnya. Semakin tinggi besar klaim daripada besar premi pada suatu polis, maka akan semakin tinggi juga kemungkinan premi lanjutan (renewal premium) pada polis tersebut

This article uses qualitative research using descriptive methods. The type of research in this article is field research. The data collection technique in this research is observation and interviews. The results of this research are that in the world of education, the teacher's teaching and learning process is a very important element, because teachers have a very high position in the administration of education. The position of the teacher is at the forefront, because the existence of educational factors greatly determines the course of an educational process. To improve human resources of quality and character, education is certainly needed. Education is a complex process and involves various parties, especially the family, school and community as an educational environment known as the three educational centers. Teachers play a very important role in forming students' character, one of which is the aspect of discipline in the learning process. In forming students' character in the disciplinary aspect of the learning process, they must also receive support from the family and the environment where the student lives. Because support from the family and environment can also help teachers in forming students' character regarding discipline aspects in the learning process. To build students' character regarding disciplinary aspects in the learning process, teachers act as educators, as motivators, mentors and as evaluatorss.
