Utilization of Artificial Intelligence Applications In Compiling Scientific Papers
The world of education is one of the fields that can adopt Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology, so that it can provide convenience in positive things, one of which is in writing student scientific articles. This research aims to provide alternative solutions to the problems of students in writing scientific papers, be it in the form of Thesis, Thesis, or writing articles. The background of this research is the limitation of students in finding references in writing scientific papers, references that are sought from both national and international levels. The research method uses a literature study to detect Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications that can facilitate students in writing scientific papers. The results of the review were obtained as many as 3 applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in facilitating students in writing scientific papers. In this case, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is used to speed up students' time in writing scientific papers. Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of Reading Comprehension in English School Examination fro Junior High School
The importance of Higher Order Thinking Questions(HOTS) as a way to support the process of teaching and learningprocess is highly recommended to be implied in school. HOTS couldencourage students’ cognitive skills; analyzing, interpreting, andproblem solving. This study aimed to investigate the use of HOTSquestions in English school examinations, particularly in readingcomprehension. The researcher wanted to know the percentage ofHOTS in the Reading Section of the English school examination.The purpose of this research was to analyze the proportion and howHigher Order Thinking Questions (HOTS) was implied in Juniorhigh school English examinations in Bandar Lampung. Qualitativeresearch was used in this study with the Checklist table. Theresearcher used the English Final Examination in the 2022–2023academic year from one of the public junior high schools inBandarlampung as the main data. It is made up of 50 questions. Thequality analysis sheet of HOTS and LOTS question categories fromAnderson and Krathwohl's Revised Bloom Taxonomy. Thesefindings indicate that the Junior High School Examination in BandarLampung incorporates HOTS questions, with a 30% representation.The "analyze" category dominates, encompassing all cognitiveprocesses, and fostering critical thinking and deeper understanding.In conclusion, HOTS questions have been integrated into theEnglish School Examination in Bandar Lampung, comprising 30%of the exam. This indicates that the examination not only assessesreading comprehension but also fosters critical thinking and theability to analyze, evaluate, and generate new ideas and knowledge,thereby enhancing students' critical thinking abilities
The Effectiveness of Flowcharts in Improving Students' Analytical Exposition Writing Ability
This study investigated the effectiveness of using flowcharts in improving students' analytical exposition writing ability. Writing analytical exposition texts presents significant challenges for students, particularly in organizing arguments and developing coherent ideas. While various instructional strategies have been explored, the potential of flowcharts as a visual organizing tool for writing instruction remains largely unexplored. This pre-experimental study employed a one-group pre-test post-test design, involving 31 twelfth-grade students in the first semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The intervention consisted of three treatment sessions where flowcharts were systematically implemented to guide students through the writing process. Data were collected through writing tests administered before and after the treatment. The results revealed a significant improvement in students' writing performance, with mean scores increasing from 66.93 in the pre-test to 76.41 in the post-test (p 0.05). Qualitative observations indicated progressive improvement in student engagement and confidence across the treatment sessions, transitioning from initial hesitation to active participation and enhanced idea generation by the final session. The findings suggest that flowchart-based instruction can effectively improve students' analytical exposition writing ability, particularly when integrated with contextually relevant topics. This study contributes to the growing body of research on structured writing interventions and offers practical implications for writing instruction methodology
Development of an Integrated Science Teaching Module based on Scientific Issues and Temperature Material to Strengthen 21st Century Character
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengembangkan modul ajar IPA terpadu berbasis Scientific Issues materi suhu untuk menguatkan karakter abad-21 peserta didik SMP (2) Mengetahui kelayakan modul ajar IPA terpadu berbasis Scientific Issues materi suhu untuk menguatkan karakter abad-21 peserta didik SMP. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 2 validator (ahli materi dan ahli media), 10 peserta didik kelas VII, serta 1 guru IPA SMP. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Research and Development (R&D) menurut Borg and Gall. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan (1) Pengembangan modul ajar IPA terpadu berbasis Scientific issues materi suhu untuk menguatkan karakter abad-21 peserta didik SMP, dilakukan melalui delapan tahapan, diantaranya yaitu mengetahui potensi dan masalah, pengumpulan informasi, desain produk dan produk awal, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk skala kecil, revisi produk, hingga didapatkan produk akhir. (2) Kelayakan modul didapatkan dari hasil validasi ahli materi dan ahli media, yang menghasilkan presentase nilai sebesar 93,75% dan sebesar 88,3%. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul ajar materi suhu yang dikembangkan dinilai sangat layak untuk digunakan
PERAN BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING BAGI ANAK DIDIK DI LEMBAGA PEMASYARAKATAN KHUSUS ANAK (LPKA)
Cukup banyaknya kasus anak yang berkonflik dengan hukum di Indonesia dan berujung pada pidana penjara sehingga ditempatkan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Khusus Anak (LPKA) menjadi permasalahan tersendiri bagi seorang anak. Jauhnya seorang anak dari orang tua dan masuknya seorang anak pada lingkungan baru yang sangat berbeda dengan kehidupannya saat di luar dapat menimbulkan masalah bagi seorang anak, antara lain seperti perasaan tertekan, stres, cemas, dan masalah-masalah lain yang dapat mengganggu kehidupan sehari-hari anak tersebut. Oleh karena itu, perlu adanya intervensi dan upaya bantuan seperti pelayanan Bimbingan dan Konseling sebagai salah satu langkah pencegahan dan pengentasan terhadap masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana peran Bimbingan dan Konseling dalam pemberian layanan bagi Anak didik di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Khusus Anak (LPKA) guna mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada melalui berbagai layanan yang tersedia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Literature Review atau kajian kepustakaan dengan melakukan analisis terhadap sumber secara kritis dan mendalam, dan didapatkan hasil bahwa Bimbingan dan Konseling dapat menjadi salah satu strategi dan dapat berperan dalam upaya pemecahan masalah yang dialami oleh Anak didik di LPKA. Pemberian bantuan yang diberikan melalui layanan-layanan bimbingan dan konseling dapat meliputi permasalahan pribadi, sosial, belajar, karier, keluarga, atau agama
Kajian Deskriptif Kegiatan Shelving Koleksi Perpustakaan di Perpustakaan IAIN Kudus
Shelving merupakan kegiatan penataan koleksi perpustakaan pada rak koleksi. Kegiatan shelving yang benar dan tepat dapat mempermudah pemustaka dalam melakukan penelusuran informasi di perpustakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan shelving koleksi di Perpustakaan IAIN Kudus. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka. Data penelitian yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis dengan pendekatan analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) shelving koleksi di Perpustakaan IAIN Kudus memiliki teknis pelaksanaan yang berbeda-beda tergantung lokasi koleksi tersebut, 2) shelving koleksi di Perpustakaan IAIN Kudus memiliki sistem penataan yang berbeda-beda tergantung lokasi koleksi tersebut, 3) kendala yang ditemui dalam kegiatan shelving koleksi adalah pemustaka yang kurang disiplin, tingkat keilmuan petugas shelving, jumlah petugas shelving, jumlah buku yang melebihi rak, keadaan rak, pencahayaan rak, debu dan troli pengangkut, 4) solusi yang telah diambil oleh petugas shelving adalah melakukan shelving secara rutin setiap 1 jam sekali, mengedukasi pemustaka, berkonsultasi dengan pustakawan, memakai masker dan kaos tangan, memakai senter, dan menggunakan tangga. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan shelving koleksi di Perpustakaan IAIN Kudus sudah dapat berjalan lancar serta sudah sesuai dengan aturan dan sistem penataan yang berlaku
Aesthetic Clothing in the Quran: Normative and Innovative Analysis
This study examines the notion of clothes as depicted in the Qur'an. This study is of considerable importance, particularly in light of contemporary societal conditions, which indicate that many Muslim women predominantly concentrate on the normative aspects of attire while seemingly neglecting its aesthetic dimensions. In fact, the aesthetic dimension is crucial in fostering a positive portrayal of Islam in the face of pervasive negative perceptions that are frequently linked to the manner and style of dress among Muslims. To explore this, the study undertakes a comprehensive literature review of Qur'anic texts pertaining to clothing, including terms such as hijab, khimar, and jilbab, using a thematic interpretative approach. The primary source is the Qur'an, complemented by secondary sources drawn from classical, modern, and contemporary scholars' interpretations, including Jilbab Baju Wanita Muslimah by Quraish Shihab and other pertinent literature. The data collected from these sources are further analysed through the lens of Fazlur Rahman’s double movement interpretative framework, which helps contextualise the Qur'anic teachings in relation to contemporary social and cultural contexts. The analysis shows that clothing in the Qur'an functions not just to cover the awrah (private parts) but also as a medium for expressing the beauty of Islam, both visually and in the interpretative value of its teachings. Therefore, in addition to its normative dimension, the Qur'an also emphasizes aesthetics. Muslims who adhere to the prescribed criteria of dress are encouraged to express their creativity in a refined and sophisticated manner, thereby reflecting Islam as a dynamic and adaptable religion in response to changing circumstances
Towards a Comprehensive Understanding of Hadith Sciences: Al-Gumari’s Reconstruction of Riwayah and Dirayah
The two primary branches of hadith sciences, riwayah (transmission) and dirayah (critical analysis), were historically considered conclusive by scholars following the 10th century AH, according to the definition given by al-Suyuti. However, this point of view encountered considerable criticism from al-Gumari. This study examines al-Gumari's epistemological methodology for reconstructing hadith sciences, employing John Dewey's reconstruction theory and Taqi Yazdi's comparative theory as analytical frameworks. The findings indicate substantial differences between al-Gumari and other scholars regarding their conceptualisation of the hadith sciences of riwayah and dirayah. The differences manifest in the domains of terminology, linguistic considerations, illustrative examples, and the practical application of these two branches of hadith sciences. Al-Gumari added the categories of sahih (authentic), hasan (good), and da‘if (weak) hadith to the definition of riwayah so that it included both theoretical and practical aspects. In the domain of dirayah, he incorporated components such as linguistic analysis, matan (content) criticism, principles of usul al-fiqh (the principles of jurisprudence), and fiqh (jurisprudence), extending beyond the boundaries traditionally confined to usul al-hadith (principles of hadith). Still, there are some areas where both schools agree, especially when it comes to the sciences of gharib al-hadith (rare or unfamiliar words in hadith) and asbab wurud al-hadith (specific circumstances of revealing hadith), which can be put in either riwayah or dirayah depending on the situation. Through al-Gumari’s reconstructive efforts, a more expansive framework for dirayah emerges, integrating specialised studies in linguistics, matan analysis, and jurisprudence. This method significantly enhances the interpretive scope of hadith sciences, fostering a more comprehensive understanding of its theoretical and practical aspects
Gratitude as a Buffer: Exploring Its Moderating Role in the Link Between Daily Hassles and Life Satisfaction Among Students
Satisfaction with life is part of the cognitive process that can be negatively affected by perceptions of everyday events, which is known as daily hassles. A sense of gratitude is always appreciating, recognizing, and responding to life events that are determinants of mental health and well-being, and have been shown to increase satisfaction with life. The purpose of this study is to investigate the moderating role of gratitude in the relationship between daily hassles and satisfaction with life. The study used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design and involved 169 undergraduate students as respondents. The selected respondents will fill out three research scales, namely the lives daily hassles scale (LIVES-DHS) 18 items, the gratitude questionnaire – five item form (GQ-5), and the satisfaction with life scale (SWLS) 5 items. Moderated regression analysis was conducted to test the role of gratitude as a moderator using R programming language (v4.4.0) and RStudio (v2024.04.1-748). Our results show that gratitude acts as a moderator in the relationship between daily hassles and satisfaction with life. This study contributes as a reference material in implementing gratitude interventions to increase satisfaction with life in dealing with daily hassle
EFEKTIVITAS DAN EFISIENSI PENGELOLAAN TENAGA PENDIDIK DAN KEPENDIDIKAN MELALUI TEKNOLOGI INFORMASI DAN KEPEMIMPINAN
Educators and educational staff are essential resources in supporting the success of the teaching and learning process in schools.Therefore, they must be managed effectively, and their management can not be separated from the role of a leader.This study is a literature review conducted using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, consistingof six stages: planning, literature search, inclusion and exclusion criteria assessment, quality assessment, data collection, and data analysis.This study aims to identify supporting factors, the contribution of information technology to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of managing educators and educational staff, and the role of leadership in overcoming obstacles in managing these resources.The results of data analysis indicate that the effectiveness and efficiency of managing educators and educational staff are influenced by adequate infrastructure, competency of educators and educational staff, integrated information technology, effective leadership, clear task allocation, good communication,and performance monitoring and evaluation. Information technology supports more efficient management through administrative automation, rapid data access, and transparent financial management. Leadership plays a strategic role in providing direction, support, and innovation, thus overcoming administrative challenges, boosting motivation, and strengthening coordination among related parties
