    Immunological Maladaptation as a Predictor of Spontaneous Preterm Birth in Human Pregnancies

    This data set of single cell RNA sequencing was generated from maternal blood samples collected from pregnant women (n=10) in their first and second pregnancy, respectively, either experiencing a healthy term (n=10) or a spontaneous preterm birth (n=10). The analysis of this data set is part of the manuscript entitled "Immunological Maladaptation as a Predictor of Spontaneous Preterm Birth in Human Pregnancies" which is currently under consideration for publication with Nature Communications. Abstract: Dysregulated maternal immune adaptation during pregnancy plays a central role in the pathogenesis of spontaneous preterm birth (sPTB). However, predictive models of sPTB based on maternal immune features, ideally before clinical symptoms arise, remain limited. In a nested case-control study embedded within a population-based, low-risk pregnancy cohort, we decoded a pattern of abnormal immune response in mothers' blood that precedes sPTB by weeks to months. Prominent features include heightened sensitivity to adrenergic signals within myeloid and T cell populations in early pregnancy, followed by increased production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in the third trimester. CD4+ T cells exhibited gene expression patterns indicative of a Th17-skewed, neuroactive protein–responsive phenotype. Our study provides a multi-omics resource and a conceptual framework for identifying individuals at increased risk for sPTB with broad translational implications for advancing targeted preventive measures

    Global Bias-Corrected CORDEX Datasets at Half Degree Resolution

    Abstract: This dataset provides globally consistent, bias-corrected climate data at 0.5° spatial resolution, consisting of a set of seven climate variables derived from three General Circulation Models (GCMs) participating in CMIP5, downscaled by 10 CORDEX Regional Climate Model (RCM) simulations and bias-corrected globally for the period 1950/1960–2099. It includes data from three climate change scenarios, namely RCP2.6, RCP4.5 and RCP8.5. The three GCMs are: ICHEC-EC-EARTH, MPI-M-MPI-ESM-LR, NOAA-GFDL-GFDL-ESM2M. Data are originally available as one netCDF file per GCM (3) per variable (7, NOAA-GFDL-GFDL-ESM2M: 5) per run (4, NOAA-GFDL-GFDL-ESM2M: 3). Available here are netCDF files per quantity (see TableOfContents), run (historical, rcp26, rcp45, rcp85), and GCM (see Size for the overall sum per GCM).     The DLA-RMR dataset: Annotated subset of RMR notebooks for CVC development

    What’s new in this version: This is the first complete version (v1.0). All images are in .png format, and the dataset annotations are divided into training (80 images) and test (20 images) sets. This dataset is structured into four components, each serving a distinct role in the development of a document analysis system. Word-level annotations are provided in the file word_annotations_for_cropped_images.json. These annotations describe the images contained in the cropped_images folder. Each entry specifies the location of a word as a polygon, together with its orientation (horizontal, vertical, or tilted) and the type of writing implement used (ink or pencil). Additional metadata, such as bounding boxes and segmentation areas, is also included. Cropped images are stored in the cropped_images folder. This set comprises 50 images, each containing only the primary page extracted from the corresponding full notebook scans. Full images are located in the full_images folder. This collection also contains 50 items, representing the complete notebook scans in which the primary page appears alongside other material. Page-level annotations are contained in the page_annotations folder. These are provided in YOLO format, with a single class (page) defined in classes.txt. Each annotation file specifies the bounding box of the primary page within the corresponding image in the full_images folder. Examples illustrate the annotation structure. In the JSON file, a typical word annotation records polygon coordinates, the attribute "orientation": "horizontal", and "writing_tool": "pencil". In the YOLO annotations, a sample entry such as 0 0.499023 0.500776 0.777344 0.816912 denotes the normalised coordinates of the primary page bounding box.
