Using ARIAS Model to Improve Students’ Speaking Ability at SMP Negeri 9 Parepare
ARIAS learning model consists of assurance, relevance, interest, assessment, satisfaction which is arranged based on learning theories. The five components are one unity that requires learning process to be more effective to improve students’ confidence in speaking. Many students’ still afraid to speak and did not have any self confidence in speaking. The purpose of this research is to know whether or not ARIAS Model can improve students speaking ability at SMP Negeri 9 Parepare. This research used experiment design with pre-experimental design, the total samples were 29 students. To gain the data, this research employed pre-test and post-test as instruments. The data were analyzed by using SPSS. The result of the research showed that there was improvement of students speaking ability at SMP Negeri 9 Parepare after having taught by ARIAS Model. The students speaking skill before learning by using of ARIAS Model was 64,33. After having treatment by using of ARIAS Model, students’ speaking ability increased by 80.52. The improvement obtained t value 2.507 > 2.011, which means that there was a significant improvement students speaking ability using ARIAS Model at SMP Negeri 9 Parepare
Gadgets and English Vocabulary Acquisition of Rural Preschool Children in Malang
Gadgets are often considered to interfere with early childhood development, but gadget technology benefits children's language acquisition. This study aims to determine the English vocabulary acquisition of children aged four to six years from their habit of accessing entertainment through gadgets. The participants in this study were 53 children aged 4-6 years in a rural preschool in Malang. This research used a qualitative method with a descriptive explanation. Data collection techniques were conducted through class observation and interviews with teachers and parents. The results of this study showed that the subjects' foreign language proficiency in English was seen from the acquisition of vocabulary and understanding of the content they watched repeatedly. Second language mastery is also seen in the subject's ability to mention colors, simple verbs, nouns, and adjectives in English. The children acquired their foreign language of both expressive and receptive English vocabulary through their gadgets with the support of parental guidance. It implies that gadgets with controlled screen time and supervision can positively impact children’s foreign language acquisition
STRATEGI PROMOSI PERUMAHAN TIPE 36 dan TIPE 45 BERBASIS DIGITAL 3 DIMENSI
Komunikasi pemasaran merupakan aktivitas yang berusaha menyebarkan informasi, mempengaruhi dan membujuk pasar sasaran atas perusahaan dan produk agar bersedia menerima, membeli loyal pada produk yang ditawarkan perusahaan. Oleh karena itu tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk merancang media promosi perumahan tipe 36 dan tipe 45 berbasis digital 3 dimensi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode model Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Metode ini memiliki enam tahapan, yaitu concept, design, material collecting, assembly, testing, dan distribution. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi promosi perumahan tipe 36 berbasis digital 3 dimensi dapat membantu seorang marketing dalam mempromosikan penjualan perumahan dimana konsumen dapat melihat secara langsung bentuk rumah secara 3D hasil rendering sketchup dalam brosur yang telah disisipi marker sesuai dengan hasil pengujian black box yaitu pengujian loading scene, pengujian menu utama dan pengujian menu camera AR, dalam aplikasi tersebut dinyatakan valid atau berjalan sesuai dengan hasil yang diharapkan
RELASI AGAMA DAN TEKNOLOGI: STRATEGI DAKWAH KONTEMPORER
Artikel ini membahas tentang relasi antara agama dan teknologi dalam konteks strategi dakwah kontemporer. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang pesat telah mempengaruhi cara agama diperkenalkan, dipraktikkan, dan disebarkan di era digital ini. Dakwah, sebagai upaya menyampaikan pesan agama kepada masyarakat, juga telah beradaptasi dengan kemajuan teknologi untuk mencapai tujuannya. Tulisan ini membahas berbagai strategi dakwah kontemporer yang menggunakan teknologi sebagai alat untuk memperluas jangkauan, meningkatkan efektivitas, dan memperkuat interaksi antara pihak yang berdakwah dan khalayak. Dalam diskusi tentang relasi agama dan teknologi dalam strategi dakwah kontemporer, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan teknologi memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap penyampaian pesan agama dan interaksi dengan audiens.

Perkembangan Koperasi Syariah di Indonesia
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai perkembangan koperasi syariah di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Meskipun jumlah koperasi syariah jauh lebih kecil dibandingkan dengan jumlah koperasi secara keseluruhan, namun jumlah koperasi syariah cenderung meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Pada tahun 2018, terjadi penurunan yang signifikan dalam jumlah koperasi secara keseluruhan, sedangkan jumlah koperasi syariah justru mengalami peningkatan. Pada tahun-tahun berikutnya, meskipun jumlah koperasi secara keseluruhan mengalami peningkatan, namun jumlah koperasi syariah tetap lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan tahun sebelumnya. Namun pada tahun 2021 dan 2022, jumlah koperasi syariah mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Dari hal ini dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa meskipun jumlah koperasi secara keseluruhan mengalami fluktuasi dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, namun jumlah koperasi syariah cenderung terus meningkat. Hal ini mencerminkan bahwa masyarakat semakin memperhatikan dan mengapresiasi keberadaan koperasi syariah, dan permintaan terhadap koperasi syariah semakin meningkat di Indonesia
The Students' Perception towards Blended Learning in EFL Classroom during Pandemic
This research aims to determine the students’ perception of Blended Learning in the EFL Classroom during COVID-19 pandemic. The researcher used a mixed method (qualitative and quantitative) as a research design. The researcher was collected the data from two schools in Majene regency. The result of this study shows that the students’ perceptions in Majene Regency were categorized as “undecided” toward Blended Learning from the questionnaire and interview results. The questionnaire result proved it reached a percentage 68.68%, and it was categorized as undecided based on the score category of the questionnaire in the Likert Scale. Then in the interview result, most students had a tendency to give a positive perception toward offline learning, otherwise, they preferred to give a negative perception toward online learning
Developing Writing Skills through Video-Based Contextual Teaching and Learning
This research aims at developing writing skill of the tenth-grade students of MA Muhammadiyah Palu through Contextual Teaching and Learning video-assisted based. Another aims at student’s achievement in developing writing skill because the process of CTL video-assisted based. The subjects of this research were the students at the tenth grade of MA Muhammadiyah Palu that consisted of 15 students. This research was Classroom Action Research (CAR) covering plan, action, observation and reflection. This research was carried out into two cycles. The first cycle focused on explanation of the materials through the seven principles of CTL; 1. Constructivism, 2. Inquiry 3. Questioning, 4. Learning Community, 5. Modeling, 6. Reflection and 7. Authentic Assessment. The second cycle was focused on the examples of language features in procedure text. The data of this research were obtained from observation, field notes and writing test. The individual test results in cycle 1 showed that 40% of the students had not reached the criteria of success because they had not been able to write procedure text, while the results of the cycle 2 87% of the students showed that the implementation of the CTL video-assisted based was able to develop students’ writing skills. Digital Ethnography of Students’ Communication on WhatsApp: An Empirical Study of Native Bantenese
This study delves into understanding the distinctive communication behavior within a specific speech community established on WhatsApp. Employing communication ethnography and utilizing Dell Hymes' Speaking Model for analysis, the research employs observation techniques and in-depth interviews for data collection. Findings reveal that speech events primarily unfold within designated group accounts, centering on common topics. Notably, not all community members actively engage, and communication encompasses both textual and visual formats, in line with the application's features. Despite adherence to the application's conversational structure, community members demonstrate a robust comprehension of diverse speech forms exchanged within the group. The abstract concludes by underscoring the pedagogical implications of the results, offering insights for comprehending and potentially enhancing communication behaviors in chat applications, contributing to the broader discourse on digital communicatio

Persaingan lembaga pendidikan tinggi adalah hal yang tidak bisa dihindari. Salah satu bentuk strategi untuk membangun citra yang positif melalui strategi word of mouth (WOM). Tulisan ini memaparkan bentuk-bentuk kegiatan word of mouth yang dilakukan oleh Program Studi Komunikasi dan Penyiaran Islam (KPI) STAIN Majene. Kegiatan Promosi yang dilakukan melalui word of mouth dianggap efektif dalam membentuk persepsi positif dan membangun kepercayaan publik. Artikel ini membahas mengenai perbedaan ahli hadis dan linguis Arab dalam mendefinisikan teks dhaif. masing-masing dari ahli hadis dan linguis arab memiliki definisi yang berdeda mengenai teks dhaif. hal ini, tentu berpengaruh terhadap inplikasi dan hukum yang terlahir dari perbedaan keduanya tersebut. Adapun untuk metode yang digunakan pada artikel ini ialah kajian pustaka yang segala sumbernya diambil dari beberapa literatur yang terekait dengan bahasan ini
