Explaining the relationship between female customers' online flow state and loyalty through their smart phone addiction and brand experience
This study investigates the relationship between female customers’ online flow state and loyalty and the mediating roles of their smartphone addiction and brand experience in this mechanism. To achieve this purpose, data were collected from 507 female customers in Türkiye through a questionnaire survey and analyzed using the structural equation modeling technique. The findings indicated that brand experience mediated the relationship between online flow experience and customer loyalty. Additionally, smartphone addiction mediated the relationship between brand experience and customer loyalty. The analysis revealed that while online flow state significantly influenced brand experience, its direct effect on customer loyalty was insignificant. Moreover, the study identified that smartphone addiction plays a critical role in shaping customer loyalty, especially among young female users. These results emphasize the importance of designing ethical marketing strategies that enhance brand experience while considering the potential risks of smartphone addiction. This study contributes to the literature by being one of the first to examine these variables in an integrated model within the mobile commerce context. No sponso
The relationship between resting heart rate variability and sportive performance, sleep and body awareness in soccer players
Background Heart rate variability (HRV) is a key marker of autonomic nervous system function and has been
proposed as a tool for monitoring training adaptations. However, its relationship with performance beyond aerobic
capacity remains unclear in football players. This study aimed to examine the associations between resting HRV and
aerobic capacity, agility, neuromuscular coordination, sleep quality, and body awareness.
Methods Twenty-five male football players (mean age 20±3 years) underwent HRV assessment via the Polar H10
system. Performance tests included the 20 m Shuttle Test (VO2max), Illinois Agility Test, Hexagon Test (neuromuscular
coordination), and Vertical Jump Tests (muscular strength). Sleep quality and body awareness were assessed using the
Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index and Body Awareness Questionnaire.
Results HRV Score was positively correlated with VO2max (r=0.4, p=0.04), while LF/HF ratio showed a negative
correlation with shuttle test distance (rs=-0.52, p=0.007). Mean RR correlated with neuromuscular coordination
(r=0.56, p=0.004), sleep quality (r=0.45, p=0.024), and body awareness (rs=0.46, p=0.019). No significant
correlations were found with muscular strength.
Conclusions Resting HRV is associated with key performance indicators in football players, supporting its potential
use in monitoring physiological readiness and training adaptations. Future research should establish reference values
and evaluate HRV-based interventions for performance enhancementNo sponso
Identifying challenges for implementing hydrogen energy in sport facilities: A mixed- method study
Renewable energies are used extensively in different fields. One of the famous and clean types of renewable energy is hydrogen energy. Sport industry is one of the places where hydrogen can be used efficiently. In this paper, by using a mix methodology approach we tried to identify challenges of using hydrogen energy in sport facilities. A thorough analysis of previous research was conducted by reviewing study summaries and important phrases, then we used 18 expert opinions to complete the qualitative section and initial variables were created (30 variables). Then, exploratory factor analysis by using SPSS 23.0 were performed and 6 main challenges (Infrastructure, Technological, and Economical, Safety and regulatory concerns, Environmental and Operational challenges) with 24 variables generated. Next, confirmatory factor analysis by PLS V3.0 were performed and after elimination of two variables the created model was confirmed with a nice goodness of fit indices (AGFI = 0.859, CFI = 0.942, IFI = 0.941, NNFI = 0.965, RMSEA = 0.029). In addition, Validity and reliability (Cronbach's alpha (α) = 0.841) tests shows the good result. Generally, identifying the challenges in the way of using hydrogen energy in sports facilities can help experts in improving the current situations. No sponso
The dynamics of labor income share in an era of robotic automation: a panel data analysis in high-level automation countries
This study examines the impact of robotic capital, physical capital, technological change, human capital, and trade globalization on labor income share dynamics in the era of robotic automation. Focusing on China, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and the United States – countries responsible for 79.2% of global industrial robotic installations from 2010 to 2023 – our analysis employs key variables such as labor income share, annual industrial robot installations, gross fixed capital formation, researchers in research and development, human capital index, and trade of goods and services. Estimations using Arellano-Bond, Generalized Estimating Equations, Driscoll-Kraay, and Arellano-Froot-Rogers methods reveal a consistent negative association between labor income share and robotic capital. Conversely, a positive relationship is observed with research and development. Notably, the study underscores the consistent negative impact of physical capital accumulation on labor income share across the Arellano-Bond, Driscoll-Kraay, and Arellano-Froot-Rogers methods. Furthermore, globalization, as assessed by the Arellano-Bond, Generalized Estimating Equations, and Driscoll-Kraay methods, is identified as a factor adversely affecting labor income shareNo sponso

In Vivo morphology of the sternum with emphasis on the frequency of sternal foramen
Objective To determine the incidence and morphology of the foramen in the sternum and to investigate the connection between the foramen and the types of xiphoid process terminations. Materials and Methods A total of 1600 subjects over the age of 18 were evaluated retrospectively with three-dimensional bone confguration from computed tomography. The localization, morphology of the sternal foramen, and types of xiphoid process terminations were investigated. Results A sternal foramen was found in 127 subjects, with 74 (58.3%) located in the corpus and 53 (41.7%) in the xiphoid
process. The xiphoid process termination types were as follows: single in 87 subjects (68.5%), double-ended in 34 subjects (26.8%), and triple-ended in 6 subjects (4.7%). No statistically signifcant correlation was found between xiphoid process termination type and foramen localization (p=0.92, p>0.05).
Conclusion The sternal foramen is of clinical important due to the important vital structures such as pericardium and pleura located posteriorly. Due to the high incidence of the sternal foramen and its morphologically large area, preliminary screening must be performed before clinical applications to the region. In addition, the sternal foramen is an important embryological variation that should be taken into consideration in terms of forensic medicine research and medical education. No sponso
Comparative study of machine learning techniques for remaining useful life estimation in simulated mini factory environment
This book chapter presents a comparative analysis of machine learning algorithms for predicting the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of industrial systems in a simulated mini factory environment. The study uses regression-based models and real-time sensor data to improve predictive maintenance strategies.Predictive maintenance (PdM) has become one of the most effective approaches for enhancing the longevity of industrial assets and minimizing the costs associated with their failure. This study aims to design and evaluate different machine learning algorithms to determine the RUL of industrial machines based on temperature, vibration, and RPM sensors. The assessed models include Linear Regression, Random Forest Regressor, Decision Tree Regressor, K–Nearest Neighbors Regressor, and Gradient Boosting Regressor. To establish real-life industrial environment and to put our method of predictive maintenance under realistic setting, the mini factory environment with use of Arduino was created. This setup involves a DC motor with temperature, vibration, and RPM sensors to monitor its state. The DC motor is chosen as one of the industrial machinery components that must be monitored, and the sensors record the parameters of its functioning. This mini factory environment allows for controlled experiments and data collection without disrupting actual production lines. In the preprocessing of data, there are some techniques to help our model become more predictive, which we call feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning in the model. Model performance was quantified using the Mean Squared Error, Root Mean Squared Error, R-squared score, and cross-validation score. Experiments prove that to accurately predict RUL, the best ensemble learning methods applied are gradient boosting and random forests. This research benefits industries as it assists PdM in providing an accurate estimation of the remaining useful life of industrial machinery using sensor data, thus reducing the time and cost of maintenance and increasing productivity. No sponso
P1.03 Progesterone may be a regulator and B12 could be an indicator of the proximal D4Z4 repeat methylation status on 4q35ter
https://www.fshdsociety.org/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/2025-IRC-ABSTRACT-BOOK.pdfFSHD patients have hypomethylation; different course in males and females was linked
to sex hormones. We hypothesized that sex hormones, estradiol, testosterone,
progesterone, and prolactin might be associated with methylation status of proximal
part of D4Z4. We also investigated fT3, folic acid and vitB12 levels. DNA was extracted
from 28 FSHD patients and 28 controls for bisulfite methylation analysis, and serum
was separated for biochemical analysis of estradiol, testosterone, progesterone,
prolactin, fT3, folic acid, and B12. Methylation analysis was specified to DR1, 5P
regions, and proximal region covering both DR1 and 5P. Methylation was compared
between patients and controls. Then correlation of methylation with estradiol,
testosterone, progesterone, prolactin, fT3, folic acid, and B12 was investigated. We
found that 5P and proximal region, but not DR1, were significantly hypomethylated in
patients compared to controls. Male patients had significant hypomethylation
compared to male controls. Older FSHD patients exhibited notable decrease in fT3
levels and hypomethylation of 5P region. Analyses of each CpG revealed seven
hypomethylated positions significantly different from controls. Two of the positions
demonstrated correlation with progesterone in controls. Except for one position,
methylation levels were inversely correlated with B12 in patients. The results indicate
that methylation of proximal D4Z4 region, particularly specific positions, may be
associated with progesterone
