Get PDFThe Church, which is the Mystical Body of Christ, gives to the believer incorporation into this mystery but it also requires of them assent to its divine origin. The faith is presented to the believer through this reality both in the ancient symbols of the Church but also in its liturgy, which is the primary theological ground allowing a person to profess and celebrate faith that is rooted in the Church of Christ.
In this study the author recalls some assumptions of the relationship between the liturgy and the Church, reflects on the liturgy sees as a sacred space for manifesting faith and reflects on the ars celebrandi and its impact on building faith in the Church of Christ.
Kościół, będący Mistycznym Ciałem Chrystusa, domaga się od wiernych nie tylko ich przynależności, ale wiary w jego boskie pochodzenie. Ta wiara, obecna w starożytnych symbolach, kształtowana jest na liturgii i przez liturgię. Liturgia bowiem, będąc pierwszym miejscem teologicznym, jest też naturalnym biotopem wyznawania i celebrowania tejże wiary. W niniejszym studium autor przypomina założenia relacji liturgii do Kościoła, poddaje refleksji liturgię rozumianą jako przestrzeń manifestacji wiary w Kościół oraz snuje refleksję nad obecna w temacie ars celebrandi i jej wpływem na budowanie wiary w Kościół Chrystusowy

Get PDFThe aim of the article is to describe formal exponents of discourse on the Internet forum, which is an interactive discourse created in writing, and to define the specificity of this form of communication from a pragmatic perspective. The analysis of the examples taken from Polish discussion fora focuses on three main issues, i.e., the stylistic form of speech (i.e., the method of translating the oral style into a written form), the organisation of the discussion structure (the system of replies, the mode, the order of speaking), as well as the availability of relevant contextual data and contact with the interlocutor. As shown by the analysis, the above-mentioned parameters of a network discussion show significant differences as compared with those related to direct conversation, and this discrepancy generates equally important pragmatic consequences. This leads to the conclusion that the exchange of opinions on an online forum is not only a transfer of a typical face-to-face interaction into a virtual communication space, but also is a separate form of a polylogue combining the features of an oral conversation and a written style in terms of the possibilities offered by both modes and related restrictions.

Get PDFPoland’s accession to the structures of the European Union initiated the post-accession emigration of Poles, which was characterized by the emergence of new directions for emigration. Great Britain has become one of the most popular. An emigration is a significant event in the biography of a person and the whole family. In the light of Agnieszka Bron’s concept (2000, 2006), it is associated with numerous tensions, ambivalence, a sense of helplessness and suspension (the so-called “floating”), and at the same time, it is an educational event. The research aimed to explain the learning process of spouses experiencing emigration. Biographical research was carried out using an autobiographical narrative interview and an analysis of personal documents. Ten marriage dyads staying in a long-term emigration in Great Britain participated in the research. As a result of the study of the empirical material, the following categories of experiences that fit into “floating” were distinguished: surprise/fascination with the reality, sense of loss and loneliness, uncertainty as to the rightness of the decision made, loss of sense of security, attempting to cope with the crisis, choosing a coping strategy and learning. However, not all of the distinguished categories appear in every autobiographical narration. Compared to A. Bron’s concept, the “floating” structure in the biographies studied consists of a more significant number of elements. At the same time, it loses its stages, becomes blurry, and has a mosaic character. Ten strategies for coping with a sense of suspension were also identified, which were high or low orientated toward either: the culture of the host country or the culture of the home country. Most, but not all, of these strategies enhanced recognizing the new culture. Learning from the beginning is perceived as a value and an opportunity to better cope with the crisis experienced in living in new socio-cultural conditions.Wstąpienie Polski do struktur Unii Europejskiej zapoczątkowało emigrację poakcesyjną Polaków, dla której charakterystyczne było pojawienie się nowych kierunków wyjazdów emigracyjnych. Jednym z najbardziej popularnych stała się Wielka Brytania. Wyjazd emigracyjny jest wydarzeniem znaczącym w biografii człowieka i całej jego rodziny. W świetle koncepcji Agnieszki Bron (2000, 2006), wiąże się on z licznymi napięciami, ambiwalencją, poczuciem bezradności i zawieszenia (tzw. floating), a jednocześnie jest wydarzeniem o potencjale edukacyjnym. Celem badań uczyniono wyjaśnienie procesu uczenia się małżonków doświadczających emigracji. Przeprowadzono badania biograficzne z wykorzystaniem autobiograficznego wywiadu narracyjnego i analizy dokumentów osobistych. W badaniach wzięło udział 10 diad małżeńskich przebywających na emigracji długookresowej w Wielkiej Brytanii. W wyniku analizy materiału empirycznego wyróżniono następujące kategorie doświadczeń wpisujące się we floating: zaskoczenie zastaną rzeczywistością, poczucie zagubienia i osamotnienia, niepewność co do słuszności podjętej decyzji, utrata poczucia bezpieczeństwa, podejmowanie prób radzenia sobie z kryzysem, wybór strategii radzenia sobie i uczenia się. Jednak nie w każdej narracji autobiograficznej występują wszystkie z wyróżnionych kategorii. W porównaniu z koncepcją A. Bron struktura floating w badanych biografiach składa się z większej liczby elementów, a jednocześnie traci swą etapowość, staje się rozmyta, ma charakter mozaikowy. Zidentyfikowano także dziesięć strategii radzenia sobie z poczuciem zawieszenia, nisko bądź wysoko zorientowanych na jedną z kultur: kraju przyjmującego lub kraju macierzystego. Strategie te w większości sprzyjały poznawaniu nowej kultury. Natomiast samo uczenie się od początku pobytu na emigracji było postrzegane jako wartość sprzyjająca adaptacji do życia w nowych uwarunkowaniach społeczno-kulturowych

Get PDFIn the process of increasing the efficiency of the work of court appointed family probation officers, their views on their work are extremely important. Therefore, the aim of the article is to find out their opinions on selected aspects of tasks undertaken as part of their official duties. At the turn of 2020 and 2021, individual interviews were conducted with 13 family probation officers who shared their views on the positive and negative aspects of their work. They also referred to their sense of security, their professional role and the difficulties they encounter during a pandemic. The information obtained from the respondents is the basis for conducting quantitative research and proposing legislative changes.W procesie zwiększania efektywności pracy kuratorów rodzinnych niezwykle ważne są ich opinie na temat wykonywanej przez nich pracy. Dlatego celem artykułu jest poznanie ich opinii na temat wybranych aspektów zadań podejmowanych w ramach obowiązków służbowych. Na przełomie roku 2020 i 2021 przeprowadzono wywiady indywidualne z 13 kuratorami rodzinnymi, którzy podzielili się swoimi opiniami na temat pozytywnych i negatywnych aspektów swojej pracy. Odnieśli się również do swojego poczucia bezpieczeństwa, roli jaką pełnią oraz trudności, na jakie napotykają podczas pandemii. Get PDFModern technological development of media, together with the possibilities of access to content, has practically bridged the information gap between the inhabitants of village and city. The aim of the article is to present the results of media participation studies conducted in three countries of Central and Eastern Europe. The study was conducted on a random group using the Collected Research Aggregate data, indicating the difference in transmedia participation and identifying patterns of media consumption behaviour in rural areas. To this point, a comparative analysis between respondents representing different media systems with different media practices has allowed to distinguish common features and differences that may be of interest not only to media experts, but also to those managing advertising campaigns in the media in the countries studied.Współczesny rozwój technologiczny mediów, wraz z możliwościami dostępu do treści praktycznie zniwelował lukę informacyjną pomiędzy mieszkańcami wsi oraz miasta. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja wyników badań dotyczących partycypacji medialnych przeprowadzonych w trzech krajach Europy Środkowo-Wschodniej. Badania przeprowadzono na grupie losowej metodą webankiety. Zgromadzony agregat badawczy pozwolił na wskazanie różnić w partycypacji transmedialnej oraz pozwolił nakreślić wzorce zachowań konsumpcji mediów na terenach wiejskich. Dokonana w tym celu analiza komparatystyczna pomiędzy respondentami reprezentującymi różne systemy medialne, posiadające różne praktyki medialne pozwoliła na wyłuskanie cech wspólnych i różnic, które mogą być interesujące nie tylko dla medioznawców, ale także dla osób zarządzających kampaniami reklamowymi w mediach w badanych krajach

Get PDFThe time of the pandemic is a hard test for the family ties. In the face of the difficulties and threats experienced by the families today, the Church reminds spouses about the value of a marriage, which is God’s intention, the fruit of grace and a vocation that must be fully experienced, with fidelity and selflessness. The aim of the research was to present the topicality of the message of the exhortation Amoris laetitia in the context of contemporary events caused by the SARS-Cov-2 virus and underlining the importance of the Church’s tenderness in accompaniment, discreet and full of love, for today’s families. The analytical-synthetic method was used in the work on the text. As a result of the analysis of the content of the exhortation, not so much its topicality was emphasized, but rather the meticulous care for family life in many aspects. Pope Francis, giving specific examples, talks about the topicality of the vocation of the Christian family and the challenges that families had to face during the pandemic. The following conclusion can be drawn from these considerations: each family member, regardless of age or sex, plays an important role in social relations, and in the prose of life, the azimuth of actions should be marked by the ‘Hymn oft love’ by St. Paul.Czas pandemii to ciężka próba dla więzi rodzinnych. W obliczu trudności i zagrożeń, jakich doświadczają współcześnie rodziny, Kościół przypomina małżonkom o wartości małżeństwa, które jest zamysłem Bożym, owocem łaski i powołaniem, które trzeba przeżywać w pełni, z wiernością i bezinteresownością. Celem badań było przedstawienie aktualności przesłania adhortacji Amoris laetitia w kontekście współczesnych wydarzeń wywołanych wirusem SARS-Cov-2 oraz podkreślenie, jak ważna dla współczesnych rodzin jest czułość w towarzyszeniu, dyskretna i pełna miłości ze strony Kościoła. W pracy nad tekstem zastosowano metodę analityczno-syntetyczną. W wyniku analizy treści adhortacji podkreślono nie tyle jej aktualność, ile wręcz drobiazgową troskę o życie rodzinne w wielu aspektach. Papież Franciszek, podając konkretne przykłady, mówi o aktualności powołania rodziny chrześcijańskiej oraz wyzwaniach, z którymi musiały zmierzyć się rodziny w okresie pandemii. Z owych rozważań nasuwa się następujący wniosek: każdy członek rodziny, bez względu na wiek czy płeć, pełni ważną funkcję w relacjach społecznych, a w prozie życia azymut działań wyznaczać winien „Hymn o miłości” autorstwa św. Pawła

No full textDespite the difficult economic situation of the inhabitants of the Wieluń district in the Second Polish Republic and the necessity for their emigration mainly to Germany for work purposes, they were characterised by deep religiousness. Bishop Teodor Kubina underlined this fact many times in his utterances. It had an influence on the organisation of the Eucharistic Congress, which was the third most important one in the diocese of Częstochowa, between 27th–29th June 1931 in the town of Wieluń. It took place with the involvement of the inhabitants of the Wieluń district, who walked in the pilgrimage from their parishes, which reflected their great respect towards the Divine Sacrament. This event deepened their religiousness, and it resulted in an even greater engagement in the activities of the Catholic associations.Mimo trudnej sytuacji gospodarczej mieszkańców powiatu wieluńskiego w II Rzeczypospolitej i związanej z nią konieczności emigrowania głównie do Niemiec w celach zarobkowych charakteryzowali się oni głęboką religijnością. Wielokrotnie bp Teodor Kubina podkreślał to w swoich wypowiedziach. Wpłynęło to na zorganizowanie w dniach 27–29 czerwca 1931 r. w Wieluniu Kongresu Eucharystycznego, który był trzecim w kolejności w diecezji częstochowskiej. Get PDFThe author introduces the reader to the post-war account of German Jesuits who survived the atrocities of 1945 in Opole and described it in a report, a copy of which is kept in the Archivum Romanum Societatis Iesu in Rome. The account of the Germans, as displaced persons, shows the tragedy of the situation, which could not have been perceived by their Polish confreres. The article is, in a way, a supplement to the account of the Polish Jesuits from August 1945, well known in the reading circle, who took over the Opole monasticinstitution after their German confreres.Autor przybliża czytelnikowi powojenną relację niemieckich jezuitów, którzy w Opolu przeżyli okrucieństwa 1945 r. i zapisali je w sprawozdaniu, którego odpis przechowywany jest Archivum Romanum Societatis Iesu w Rzymie.
