No full textThe aim of the article is to present the issue of the availability of churches for the faithful for the purpose of adoration of the Eucharist. The first part presents the issue of adoration as one of the purposes of keeping the Eucharist in the church. The second part presents the issue of the right of the faithful to adoration of the Eucharist in the church, while the third part is devoted to the reasons for the closure of the church except official services. The article ends with conclusions and bibliography.Celem artykułu jest ukazanie zagadnienia dostępności kościołów dla wiernych w celu adoracji Eucharystii. W jego pierwszej części przedstawiono problematykę adoracji, jako jednego z celów przechowywania Eucharystii w kościele. W drugiej części ukazano kwestię prawa wiernych do adoracji Eucharystii w kościele, natomiast część trzecia została poświęcona przyczynom zamknięcia kościoła poza oficjalnymi nabożeństwami. Całość artykułu zamykają wnioski i bibliografia

No full textThe article presents a little-known allegorical Passion oratorio by Fr. Karol Mikołaj Juniewicz OSPPE and Gasparo Ruthini, which in 1755 was offered to Maria Josepha of Austria, Queen of Poland. The work has survived in a complete handwritten form in the former royal collection in Dresden, as well as fragmentarily as musical wastepaper in the Jasna Góra collection. The study provides a detailed characterization of the sources and the circumstances surrounding the dedication of the work, as well as possible contexts of its performance. It also addresses the problematic issue of the authorship of the musical layer, draws attention to the structure and fundamental musical features of the composition, and outlines further research perspectives on this piece, which belongs to the sparsely preserved tradition of Polish oratorio music.Artykuł prezentuje nieznane szerzej alegoryczne oratorium pasyjne autorstwa o. Karola Mikołaja Juniewicza OSPPE i Gasparo Ruthiniego, które w 1755 r. zostało ofiarowane królowej Polski Marii Józefie Habsburg i zachowało się w postaci kompletnej w formie rękopiśmiennej w zbiorach dawnej kolekcji królewskiej w Dreźnie oraz fragmentarycznie jako makulatura muzyczna w zbiorach jasnogórskich. Zaprezentowano szczegółową charakterystykę źródeł oraz okoliczności dedykacji utworu, jak również ewentualnych okoliczności wykonania dzieła. Poruszono problematyczną kwestię autora warstwy muzycznej, jak również zwrócono uwagę na konstrukcję i podstawowe cechy muzyczne dzieła, nakreślono także dalsze perspektywy badawcze nad kompozycją, wpisującą się w skromnie zachowany nurt polskiej twórczości oratoryjnej

No full textThis article is a review of Adrian Niewęgłowski’s monograph under the title Copyright and Related Rights in the Bankruptcy Estate published by Wolters Kluwer Publishing House, Warsaw 2024. This is the most in-depth study in Poland on the interface between insolvency law and copyright law. The reviewed monograph expresses the view that, in general,copyright property rights are not included in the bankruptcy estate. However, such a thesis is highly controversial. The article presents a number of arguments for the opposite position.Niniejszy artykuł ma format recenzji monografii Adriana Niewęgłowskiego Prawa autorskie i prawa pokrewne w masie upadłości, Wydawnictwo Wolters Kluwer, Warszawa 2024.To najbardziej pogłębione opracowanie w Polsce dotyczące styku prawa o niewypłacalności i prawa autorskiego. W recenzowanej monografii wyrażono zapatrywanie, że generalnie autorskie prawa majątkowe nie wchodzą do masy upadłości. Niemniej teza taka jest wysoce dyskusyjna. No full textIn the Catholic Church, the problem of restoring visible Christian unity, although variously emphasised, has always been topical. This was reflected, for example, in the existence over the centuries of an appropriate dicastery of the Roman Curia, whose fundamental task was to promote dialogue with the Churches and Christian Communities separated from the Holy See. The purpose of this article, therefore, is to discuss, in historical and legal terms, the relevant administrative office assisting the Bishop of Rome in his quest for the unity of all Christians (currently the Dicastery for Promoting Christian Unity). And although this institution has changed its name over the years with the successive reforms of the Roman Curia by the Popes, it has always tried and continues to try to fulfil its mission in the Church.W Kościele katolickim problem przywrócenia widzialnej jedności chrześcijan chociaż różnie był akcentowany, to zawsze był aktualny. Miało to chociażby swój wyraz w istnieniu przez stulecia stosownej dykasterii Kurii Rzymskiej, której zasadniczym zadaniem było wspieranie dialogu z Kościołami i Wspólnotami chrześcijańskimi odłączonymi od Stolicy Apostolskiej. Celem zatem niniejszego artykułu jest omówienie w ujęciu historyczno-prawnym odpowiedniego urzędu administracyjnego wspomagającego Biskupa Rzymu w dążeniu do uzyskania jedności wszystkich chrześcijan (aktualnie Dykasteria ds. Popierania Jedności Chrześcijan). Nieznany organmistrz Hugo Krebs (1880?–1946 lub 1947) z Opola
No full textThis article adds to the knowledge of the life and work of Hugo Krebs, an organ-builder associated with the Świdnica community, where he may have acquired his organ-building knowledge and skills. At the beginning of the twentieth century, he settled in Opole, where he took up independent work. The documents discovered about the Opole regency from the parishes in Chróścina Opolska and Stare Budkowice, as well as the study of other archives, indicate at least three addresses of the organ-builder in Opole, the fact that he took part in the activities of the First World War, returned to Opole and resumed his activities. The organ-master was involved in minor organ repairs and care. The article has a contributory character.Artykuł uzupełnia wiedzę o życiu i działalności Hugo Krebsa – organmistrza kojarzonego ze świdnickim środowiskiem, gdzie być może mógł uzyskać wiedzę i umiejętności organmistrzowskie. Na początku XX w. zamieszkał w Opolu, gdzie podjął samodzielną działalność. Odnalezione dokumenty rejencji opolskiej z parafii w Chróścinie Opolskiej oraz w Starych Budkowicach, jak również studium opolskich ksiąg adresowych, wskazują na co najmniejtrzy opolskie adresy organmistrza, fakt wzięcia przez niego udziału w działaniach I wojny światowej, powrót do Opola i wznowienie działalności. Organmistrz zajmował się drobnymi naprawami organów oraz opieką nad nimi. Artykuł ma charakter przyczynkarski
Wartości stylu w prozie historiograficznej Zofii Bukowieckiej
Get PDFThe historiographic prose addressed to young audience experienced a significant increase during the latter half of the nineteenth century and the early years of the twentieth century. The study examines the historiography of Zofia Bukowiecka, one ofthe most widely-read authors of that time, writing primarily for children and adolescents. The specific objective of the present study are twofold: firstly, to identify the value of the historiographic prose style for children and adolescents; and secondly, to characterize the linguistic and textual exponents expressing these values. The stylistic values identified as being of particular importance in this writing style are dialogism, imagery, fictionalisation, informativeness and emotionalisation. The factors determining the stylistic layer include specific audience, particular circumstances of the texts’ creation, and specific functions that the historiography from the period of the partitions was to perform. It fulfilled a cognitive function and an educational function, temporarily motivated by historical circumstances, which resulted in an identity-creating effect

Get PDFThis article presents, from various perspectives, the achievements of Teresa Skubalanka (1928–2016) in the field of stylistics. Her work falls within the framework of linguistic stylistics, understood as an autonomous discipline (a part of general stylistics),which differs from literary stylistics primarily in its descriptive categories, scope of research, and methodological perspectives. The result of the scholar’s multifaceted research is an original contribution to several sub-disciplines of stylistics, includingtheoretical, historical, descriptive, and practical stylistics. This body of work is characterised, on the one hand, by methodological consistency and a keen awareness of the complexity of stylistic issues, and on the other, by an evolution of views driven by the delineation of new research areas, the stimulation of further inquiry, and the search for optimal methodological approaches.Skubalanka’s detailed investigations were part of the dominant research trend in the second half of the 20th century, known as functional stylistics. She developed an original concept of functional style and proposed her own typology of language varieties. She enriched her stylistic theory with several operational concepts, including the notions of function, comparison, context, choice, and accommodation
