Performance recovery of creative sector industries: strengthening management literacy and digital business innovation
Full text linkThis study examined the effect of strengthening management literacy on digital business innovation and accelerating performance recovery and examined the impact of digital business innovation on accelerating performance recovery. This study is explanative/associative research accompanied by hypothesis testing. The unit of analysis in this study was creative industry entrepreneurs, with a total population of 354. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling with specific criteria and obtained 194 as a sample size, after which they were referred to as respondents. Path analysis results show that strengthening management literacy directly and significantly influences digital business innovation and accelerates performance recovery; digital business innovation directly and substantially influences the acceleration of performance recovery in the creative industry sector. The findings of this study indicate that strengthening management literacy, which is carried out in a structured and massive manner, will encourage innovative behavior in implementing digital business. Digital business innovation will spur business activities to become more effective, because they are not limited by space and time
THE ROLE OF SPIRITUALITY AND TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP ON ORGANIZATIONAL RESILIENCE
Full text linkThis research examines the influence of spirituality in the workplace and transformational leadership, organizational resilience. This research also tests transformational leadership as a mediating variable on the influence of workplace spirituality on organizational resilience. This research uses a survey questionnaire. The research sample was determined based on the table of Krejcie et al. (1970), namely if the population is 100 then the sample is 80. The research sample consisted of 80 educators and education staff from Catholic high schools in the city of Surabaya. This research uses partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypothesis. The findings of this research are that there is a significant relationship between workplace spirituality and organizational resilience, both directly and indirectly mediated by transformational leadership. This research has practical implications for school principals and school administrators to realize the benefits of spirituality and transformational leadership in building organizational resilience in schools. Further research is still needed to examine the influence of workplace spirituality and transformational leadership on organizational resilience in schools to provide new insights into the role of workplace spirituality and transformational leadership in building school organizational resilience
THE INFLUENCE OF TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP AND ROLE BREADTH SELF-EFFICACY ON ORGANIZATIONAL RESILIENCE
Full text linkThis study investigate the influence of transformational leadership and role breadth self-efficacy on organizational resilience. It also investigates the role of breadth self-efficacy as a mediating variable between transformational leadership and organizational resilience. The study utilized a take a look at, with the representative or sample size insistent on based on the Krejcie et al. (1970) table, where the multitude of 100 corresponds to a sample size of 80. The sample consisted of 80 teachers and staff from Catholic high schools in Surabaya. This study employed partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the hypothesis. The discovery indicate a significant, positive, and strong relationship between transformational leadership and role breadth self-efficacy with organizational resilience, either directly or through mediation, mediated by role breadth self-efficacy. This study has practical benefits for school principals. to understand the advantage of transformational leadership and role breadth self-efficacy in establishment organizational resilience in schools. Future research is suggested to explore the impact of transformational leadership and role breadth self-efficacy on organizational resilience in schools to supply new perception into the role of transformational leadership and role breadth self-efficacy in fostering organizational resilience

Full text linkAn oral agreement is an employment relationship that exists without anemployment contract. In social life,verbal agreements are often made. However, in social life, verbal agreements are often made without the person realizing it and have shortcomings when presentes as evidence in court. The purpose of this writing is to determine the legal certainty of oral agreements and how to resolve claims for breach of contract in oral agreements. The research method used is normative legal research. The types of data used are secondary data and primary data which are based on literature, books and various legal regulations and previous research. All data was analyzed using qualitative analysis. The results of this research show that verbal agreements are valid for everyone based on clause 1338 of the Civil Code which explains that all agreements made legally are considered valid by the person who makes them. However, to prove this, witnesses or confessions from the parties involved are needed, then this dispute can be resolved by undergoing a mediation process based on the agreement of the parties and the advantage of this mediation is that the parties do not need to defend the facts and evidence that are in front of them
Sentiment Analysis about Electric Motorbikes in Indonesia Using Twitter Data
Full text linkAlong with the rapid development of technology, various types of
transportation have experienced increased innovation in shapes, colours,
models, and even engines. However, one thing that needs special attention
is the number of pollutants or emissions released by vehicles. One effort to
reduce emissions is increasing the production of Battery-Based Electric
Motorized Vehicles. Battery-based electric vehicles developed in
Indonesia include electric cars and electric motorcycles. Among these
types of electric vehicles, Indonesian society widely adopts electric
motorcycles. However, sales of electric motorbikes were only 15 thousand
units, lower than sales of petrol motorbikes which reached 5 million units.
This study contributes to understanding further how the community
responds to electric motorcycles in detail through sentiment analysis on
social media data. Consumer acceptance of electric motorcycles can be
seen from the numerous active Twitter users in Indonesia who provide
positive and negative comments on the presence of electric motorcycles.
Text information based on public comments in Indonesia via Twitter is
collected using Sentiment Analysis in R Studio. Twitter comments will be
classified into positive, negative, and neutral groups. The results show 63%
positive, 21% unfavourable, and 14% neutral opinions. This condition
means that Indonesian society accepts and has a supportive opinion of the
presence of electric motorcycles. The government and entrepreneurs can
use this information to create electric motorcycles that align with the
community's preferences
PEMBERDAYAAN MASYARAKAT MELALUI PELATIHAN PEMBUATAN SABUN PADA KOMUNITAS IBU RUMAH TANGGA DI KELURAHAN WONOCOLO SURABAYA
Full text linkNowadays, it is very important to maintain a healthy body. The pandemic period has passed, but efforts to maintain health must be made, one of which is maintaining personal hygiene. Steps to maintain personal hygiene include washing hands, showering, and washing hair. Some of these things require soap to help clean. One of the problems in the Wonocolo sub-district is clean and healthy living behavior, especially the behavior of washing hands with soap and entrepreneurial ideas for housewives. The method used is education about personal hygiene, the benefits of soap for daily life, and the practice of making soap. This activity was attended by 30 participants from community groups around the Wonocolo sub-district. The result of the activity was that participants experienced a significant increase in their understanding of and skills in making
soap. This was proven by giving questionnaires before and after the activity; the average result before the activity was 4 and after it was 9.2. The conclusion of this activity is the delivery of material and soap-making practices that have been implemented, effectively increasing participants' knowledge. Overall, this community service activity succeeded in achieving the expected goals, increasing awareness of clean and healthy living behaviors in the Wonocolo sub district, improving skills, and providing new business opportunities for housewives
Pengujian Metode Inception V3 dalam Mengidentifikasi Penyakit Kanker Kulit
Full text linkKulit yang berfungsi secara estetika dan melindungi organ internal secara rutin terpapar elemen eksternal, membuatnya rentan terhadap luka dan penyakit. Salah satu kondisi yang paling berbahaya adalah kanker kulit, masalah kesehatan global yang berasal dari mutasi DNA pada sel kulit, terutama Melanoma dan Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC). Penyakit tersebut umum terjadi di area yang terpapar sinar matahari berlebihan. Di Indonesia yang memiliki lokasi geografis di daerah tropis memiliki resiko terjangkit kanker kulit yang lebih besar. Hal tersebut mendorong kebutuhan akan metode diagnostik yang efektif. Prosedur biopsi tradisional,
meskipun akurat, memakan waktu dan mahal. Studi ini mengeksplorasi pendekatan alternatif yang efisien dengan menggunakan computer vision dan machine learning, khususnya Inception V3. Metode Inception V3 adalah salah satu arsitektur jaringan saraf konvolusi (CNN) yang dikembangkan oleh tim peneliti di Google pada tahun 2015. Tujuan utama dari Inception V3 adalah untuk meningkatkan kecepatan komputasi dan kinerja model dalam pengenalan gambar. Penelitian akan dilakukan dengan cara melakukan pelatihan pada model dengan metode Inception V3. Model akan dilatih menggunakan data foto kulit sebesar 9,1GB (Gigabyte) yang
diambil dari International Skin Imaging Challenge (ISIC) pada tahun 2019. Setelah pelatihan selesai dilakukan,
tahap selanjutnya adalah pengujian. Untuk mencegah bias maka data yang dipakai untuk pengujian model tidak boleh sama dengan pelatihannya. Model yang dilatih menunjukkan akurasi yang memuaskan, mencapai 99.93% untuk Melanoma dan 92.26% untuk identifikasi Basal Cell Carcinoma
