Get PDFComparative Education in Latin America and Colombia, observed from its historical journey, and accompanied by different positions, allows us to reflect on those educational experiences that have passed through the country, as well as on how this Education reaches the continent and the impact it has for the region and the nation. However, the objective of this document is to reflect on actions, strategies and discussions raised around comparative education in Latin America and Colombia in recent history. In the same way, make visible the theoretical production on comparative education, in addition to understanding what happens with the discipline from the reflections that have been made about it historically, and what happens today with the educational systems in Colombia. A main conclusion, and supported by Acosta, Felicitas, & Ruiz, Guillermo, is that the current challenges of Comparative Education allow us to appreciate what the terms of the discussion are today, so it is essential to make discussions thinking about the real scenarios of each social context.La Educación Comparada en América Latina y Colombia, observada desde su recorrido histórico, y acompañada de diferentes posturas, permite hacer una reflexión sobre esas experiencias educativas que han pasado por el país, asimismo, sobre cómo llega esta Educación al continente y el impacto que esta tiene para la región y la nación. No obstante, el objetivo de este documento es reflexionar sobre acciones, estrategias y discusiones planteadas alrededor de la educación comparada en América Latina y Colombia en la historia reciente. De igual manera, visibilizar la producción teórica sobre la educación comparada, además de comprender lo que pasa con la disciplina a partir de las reflexiones que históricamente se han hecho sobre ella, y lo que hoy en día pasa con los sistemas educativos en Colombia. Simulación climática de un invernadero para rosas
Get PDFRose production in Colombia takes place almost entirely in naturally ventilated greenhouses. The objective of this work was to replicate the characterization of the microclimate generated inside a greenhouse through the modeling of air flows using CFD software, taking into account the evapotranspiration of the crop. The CFD-3D model used was validated by collecting experimental data collected in the field, focusing on the variables of temperature and relative humidity. The results obtained show that for the evaluated condition the generated microclimate varies if evapotranspiration is taken into account in the model, although the conditions found are still optimal for rose productionLa producción de rosas en Colombia se desarrolla casi en su totalidad en invernaderos ventilados en forma natural. El objetivo de este trabajo fue replicar la caracterización del microclima generado en el interior de un invernadero a través de Dinámica de Fluidos Computacional, teniendo en cuenta la evapotranspiración del cultivo. El modelo CFD utilizado fue validado mediante recopilación de datos experimentales recolectados en campo, enfocándose en las variables de temperatura y humedad relativa. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que para la condición evaluada el microclima generado varía si se tiene en cuenta la evapotranspiración en el modelo, aunque las condiciones encontradas siguen siendo óptimas para la producción de rosas.

One of the CUEE methodologies is the creation of challenges that support the resolution of problems that benefit the educational and business processes. The objective of this article is to present a proposal, from this methodology, that reduces the gap in the logistic and production process outsourced by the company TOOL BE, which is dedicated to the accompaniment of parents and caregivers for the early stimulation of children. The most important result of the exercise was the design of an integrated solution strategy called: "Standardization, connection, and innovation: fewer gaps in outsourcing" for this company.En el contexto de las prácticas estudiantiles del Politécnico Colombiano Jaime Isaza Cadavid surge el Comité Universidad -Empresa –Estado (CUEE) como apoyo al sector terciario posibilitando la sinergia entre universidad, empresa y Estado que favorece la articulación de los estudiantes con el entorno laboral. Una de las metodologías del CUEE es la creación de retos que apoyen la resolución de problemas que beneficien los procesos educativos y empresariales. El objetivo de este artículo es presentar una propuesta, desde esta metodología, que reduzca la brecha del proceso logístico y de producción tercerizado por la empresa TOOL BE, la cual se dedica al acompañamiento a los padres y cuidadores para la estimulación temprana de niños. El resultado más importante del ejercicio fue el diseño de la estrategia de solución integral denominada: “Estandarización, conexión e innovación: menos brechas en la tercerización” para dicha empresa.

Get PDFThe field of biomaterials and their applications contribute significantly to the health and quality of life of people. Although there are several groups of biomaterials such as ceramics, polymers, metals and all of them in a certain percentage are used for different procedures with specific objectives, this review article focuses on metals and their alloys, their resistance to corrosion in a biological environment and protection against physiological stress. For this review, articles were selected to describe these aspects of metal alloys used in orthopedic applications based on a detailed electronic search. From this, it is concluded that resistance to corrosion and physiological stress are two aspects so crucial that many of the researches carried out aim to improve them to ensure the success of osteosynthesis and the satisfactory recovery of the patient.El campo de los biomateriales y sus aplicaciones contribuyen significativamente a la salud y calidad de vida de las personas. Aunque existen varios grupos de biomateriales como cerámicos, polímeros, metales y todos en un determinado porcentaje se utilizan para diferentes procedimientos con objetivos específicos, este artículo de revisión se centra en los metales y sus aleaciones, la resistencia de estos a la corrosión en un entorno biológico y la protección contra el estrés fisiológico. Para esta revisión se seleccionaron artículos que permiten describir dichos aspectos de las aleaciones metálicas utilizadas en aplicaciones ortopédicas partiendo de una detallada búsqueda electrónica, a partir de ello, se concluye que la resistencia a la corrosión y el estrés fisiológico son dos aspectos tan neurálgicos que muchas de las investigaciones realizadas tienen como objetivo mejorarlos garantizando el éxito de la osteosíntesis y la recuperación satisfactoria del paciente.

Get PDFPerceptions give space to reflect on what is done in those spaces where a subject moves. Those looks are not foreign to just a handful of people, people with diverse abilities enter that team. For this work a disability was taken, the visual one. The main objective was to identify the perceptions of 4 blind young people, between 18 and 25 years old, regarding the body image that is expressed in the physical activity class. The methodology used has a qualitative and biographical-narrative approach, based on a historical-hermeneutical paradigm. In turn, the observation sheet, the narrative interview and the photobiography are used as collection instruments. A main result is that in the classes the image of the body is not only transformed by the motor movement, it is conditioned by the emotions, perceptions and methodology that is worked on. In the same way, a main conclusion is that the blind young person makes a mental construction about his body image, based on the conception he has of normal, once he makes it, he articulates two aspects: One general, evident by what he feels, he thinks and perceives of himself; and one specific, which is the help that the other gives him with specific aspects of the image that he creates. This mental image of the body is marked by events, emotions and sensations that make the young blind person act, or express himself, in a certain way in physical activity classes.Las percepciones dan cabida a reflexionar lo que se hace en esos espacios en los que un sujeto se mueve, esas miradas no son ajenas solo a un puñado de personas, entran en ese equipo las personas con capacidades diversas. Para este trabajo se tomó una discapacidad, la visual. El objetivo principal fue identificar las percepciones de 4 jóvenes ciegos, entre los 18 y 25 años, frente a la imagen corporal que se expresa en la clase de actividad física. La metodología empleada tiene un enfoque cualitativo y biográfico- narrativo, apoyándose en un paradigma histórico-hermenéutico. A su vez, se utiliza la ficha de observación, entrevista narrativa y la fotobiografia como instrumentos de recolección. Un principal resultado radica en que en las clases la imagen del cuerpo no solo es transformada por el movimiento motor, es condicionada por las emociones, percepciones y metodología que se trabajan. Del mismo modo, una conclusión relevante radica en que el joven ciego realiza una construcción mental sobre su imagen corporal, partiendo de la concepción que tiene de normal, una vez lo realiza articula dos aspectos: Uno general, evidente por lo que siente, piensa y percibe de sí mismo; y otro especifico, que es la ayuda que el otro le proporciona frente a aspectos específicos de la imagen que crea. Esa imagen mental del cuerpo está marcada por sucesos, emociones y sensaciones que hacen que el joven ciego actúe, o se exprese, de cierta manera en las clases de actividad física

The methodology was done exclusively in books on education, teacher training and sports management. Initial data was obtained for the configuration of a training model and for advisers in sports organizations, highlighting the need for their training in factors such as pedagogy, use of information and communication technologies, bilingualism, participatory methodologies, innovation, creativity, cooperation, interdisciplinarity, networking, among other topics, which can be implemented from the managerial role in a program for actors from organizations in the field of sports science. The emerging routes are oriented towards considerations to keep in mind in the creation of a line of research in permanent training in sports sciences, self-training programs and institutionalization in sports organizations, which begin with the real identification of the demand and the characteristics of the context. in needs, expectations, themes, modalities, strategies and periodicity of training, and networks of scientific knowledge in the structuring and development of programs for sports sciences.Esta revisión parte por develar teorías utilizadas en la cualificación de procesos y programas educativos, para luego ser implementadas en el mejoramiento de roles al ser actores en el deporte. La metodología se basó exclusivamente en libros de educación, formación del profesorado y administración deportiva. Se obtuvieron datos iniciales para la configuración de un modelo teórico de la formación y para la cualificación de los asesores en organizaciones deportivas, destacando la necesidad de su formación en factores como pedagogía, uso de tecnologías de información y comunicación, bilingüismo, metodologías participativas, innovación, creatividad, cooperación, interdisciplinariedad, trabajo en redes, entre otros temas, que pueden ser implementados desde el rol directivo en un programa para actores de organizaciones del campo de las ciencias del deporte. Las rutas emergentes están orientadas hacia consideraciones a tener presente en la creación de una línea de investigación en formación permanente en las ciencias del deporte, programas de autoformación e institucionalizados en organizaciones deportivas, que inicien con la identificación real de la demanda y las características del contexto en necesidades, expectativas, temáticas, modalidades, estrategias y periodicidad de la formación, y redes de conocimiento científico en la estructuración y desarrollo de los programas para las ciencias del deporte

This project focuses on an educational web ecosystem with a variety of resources and technological programs, whose central axis is the gamification and implementation of learning methodologies for the development of research projects on a smaller scale by the participants.Este artículo comparte una reflexión sobre un proyecto de innovación educativa y tecnológica como parte del trabajo final de máster en la Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, enfocado en vincular a las niñas en las áreas STEAM a través del uso de las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación e inmersión en lengua extranjera por medio de un campamento digital. Por otra parte, recopila investigaciones relacionadas sobre el rol de la mujer en ciencia y tecnología, de esta manera contribuye con el quinto objetivo de desarrollo sostenible según la agenda 2030 de las Naciones Unidas. Este proyecto se centra en un ecosistema educativo web con variedad de recursos y programas tecnológicos cuyo eje central es la gamificación e implementación de metodologías de aprendizaje para el desarrollo de proyectos de investigación a menor escala por parte de las participantes. 
Machine learning aplicado al análisis del rendimiento de desarrollos de software

The objective of this research was to identify the optimal Machine Learning technique to predict whether or not a software development meets the customer's acceptance criteria. A dataset with information obtained from web services performance tests and the F1-score quality metric were used. This paper concludes that, although the Random Forest technique obtained the best score, it is not correct to state that it is the best Machine Learning technique; the quantity and quality of the data used in the training play a very important role, as well as an adequate processing of the information.Las pruebas de rendimiento son determinantes para medir la calidad de los desarrollos de software, ya que permiten identificar aspectos que se deben mejorar en pro de alcanzar la satisfacción del cliente. El objetivo de este trabajo fue identificar la técnica óptima de Machine Learning para predecir si un desarrollo de software cumple o no con los criterios de aceptación del cliente. Se empleó una base de datos de información obtenida en pruebas de rendimiento a servicios web y la métrica de calidad F1-score. Se concluye que, a pesar de que la técnica de Random Forest obtuvo el mejor puntaje, no es correcto afirmar que sea la mejor técnica de Machine Learning; la cantidad y la calidad de los datos empleados en el entrenamiento desempeñan un papel de gran importancia, al igual que un procesamiento adecuado de la información.

Conclui-se que, embora a técnica da Random Forest tenha obtido a melhor pontuação, não é correcto dizer que é a melhor técnica de Aprendizagem Automática; a quantidade e qualidade dos dados utilizados na formação desempenham um papel muito importante, bem como um processamento adequado da informação.

Conclusions: few productions in Colombia. Most of the indexed journals, had an observational design and found an association between few physical activity and overweight/obesity. Objetivo: analizar las investigaciones colombianas encontradas en bases de datos científicas sobre la actividad física y obesidad. Metodología: revisión sistemática de artículos de investigación realizados en Colombia del año 2010 al 2020, en las bases de datos PubMed y SciELO. Resultados: de 87 artículos encontrados, 23 cumplieron los criterios de inclusión. El 91,3 % publicados en revistas indexadas internacionalmente. 69,5% estudios observacionales, 17,4% ensayos clínicos y 8,7% revisiones sistemáticas. Conclusiones: poca producción en Colombia. La mayoría en revistas indexadas, tuvieron diseño observacional y encontraron asociación entre poca actividad física con sobrepeso/obesidad. Alta prevalencia de sobrepeso/obesidad. Pocos autores fueron profesionales en el área del deporte y el entrenamiento.
