The Influence of Pedagogical Competence and Organizational Support on Teacher Performance
Get PDFThis research aimed to determine the influence of pedagogical competence and organizational support on teacher performance. Using census techniques, the sample in the research was all teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Kandeman, Batang, Central Java, Indonesia, with totaling 80 respondent. The data source in this research is primary data collected using questionnaires. The data analysis used linear multiple regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that pedagogical competence and organizational support have a significant positive effect on teacher performance. This research implies that the central and regional governments can improve the competence and welfare of teachers
RACISM IN SUBURBICON BY GEORGE CLOONEY
Get PDFIn this research I discuss about racism in Suburbicon film by George Clooney (2017). The reason I analyze racism are because I realize that racism does not start from the environment, but racism starts with the people themselves and we should know more about racism, including its definition, the history, the impact, the causes of racism and the struggle of black people who experienced racism. The main theory that I used is the extrinsic approach to Literature: Literature and Society. The method that I used is qualitative descriptive. The result found that racism benefits the perpetrators which are superior, but it harms the victims of racism which are the inferior because the victim suffers a loss in the form of mental and physical. The concept of racism is a concept that distinguishes one race from another and considers one race to be superior to other races. Racism can occur because of differences. In this thesis, I conclude that there are three factors that cause racism. The first is because of the stereotypes in society. The second is because of an incident that happened to the Gardner Lodge family. The third is because of a lack of understanding of the meaning of difference. In addition, there are also impacts and consequences of the occurrence of racism in the Suburbicon film. The first is inequality. The second is divided into two, namely from the side of the race that benefits and the race that is harmed. Performance of Local Government Regulations During the Pandemic to Improve the Economic Value of City Image in South Sulawesi
Get PDFThis study aims to determine the performance of local governments in improving city image branding in South Sulawesi Province. This research uses a proportional sampling technique based on the area of the city so that the number of samples between one region and another will be different, using survey techniques in the form of questionnaires. For data analysis, this study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with a total data of 265 samples. The hypothesis proves that the exogenous variables of city image branding consisting of regiocentric policy, street vendor performance, iconic tourism culinary and revisit destination have a positive influence on city image branding variables. This research contributes to the development of marketing science, the implication is that it provides input to stakeholders to increase the role of government performance on image branding
Does Profitability Matter in the Relationship between Intellectual Capital and Firm Value?
Get PDFA study of intellectual capital was conducted to determine whether it can predict firm value by moderated ROA. This study is a quantitative study using secondary data from 240 observational datasets. Purposive sampling selection with company criteria in the LQ-45 index is used as a selection method consecutively from 2017 to 2020. The method of data analysis was panel data regression and Moderated Regression Analysis. The best estimation model used is the Fixed Effect model. We find that intellectual capital predicts the firm value. We also investigated that value-added capital employed and structural capital value added had a significant effect on firm value. In contrast, value-added human capital had no effect on firm value. We prove that profitability moderates the relationship between intellectual capital and firm value. The findings reveal that intellectual capital is an important determinant of a firm's value, thus the company of the LQ-45 index in developing economies like Indonesia needs to enhance their intellectual potential. Therefore, companies must stimulate the growth of capital employed and the efficiency of structural capital for enhanced firm value by strengthening ROA performance. This allows managers to allocate resources to critical knowledge assets for intellectual capital that can be turned into a sustainable competitive advantage
The Juridical Analysis of the Urgency of Ratifying the Draft Law on Asset Forfeiture in Indonesia
Get PDFThis research has the purpose of providing a juridical analysis of the urgency of ratifying the asset confiscation law in Indonesia. This article emphasizes normative juridical research with a case study approach, statutory approach, as well as empirical approach to understand the asset confiscation draft law as norms that apply to society. The type of data analyzed in this article are mainly secondary data from the Indonesian law, books, news, previous research, and journals related to money crime and asset confiscation draft law. Previous research found that Indonesia’s corruption Perception Index reached its lowest point of 34 out of 100 last year, indicating that corruption and money crime continue to occur even after a multitude of efforts to combat corrupt practices. Hence, the Indonesian law system requires an extraordinary effort to cope with this extraordinary crime, specifically through the asset confiscation law. Several indicators discovered from this research reveal the urgency of this law. In Indonesia, the national football organization is known as PPSI which has been established since 1930. The journey of Indonesian football has not always been smooth and has had several problems throughout the years. One of the problems that often occurs and is very detrimental to Indonesian football athletes is salary arrears. Football athletes themselves are still referred to as workers or laborers and are subject to the Indonesian Labor Law so that the problems that are faced by athletes must be resolved based on the provisions of the Indonesian Labor Law. However, based on Lex Sportiva, the legal remedy that can be taken by athletes is to carry out the settlement methods that have been provided by FIFA with the National Dispute Resolution Chamber, Dispute Resolution Chamber, and the Court of Arbitration for Sport as well as those that have already been provided by PSSI with PSSI Arbitration and the Athlete Status Committee. Atlet sepak bola sendiri masih disebut sebagai pekerja atau buruh dan tunduk terhadap UU Ketenagakerjaan sehingga permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh atlet harus diselesaikan berdasarkan pada ketentuan UU Ketenagakerjaan. THE NATURE OF LAW AND JUSTICE IN SOCIETY
Get PDFAt this time globalization has penetrated the dynamics of human life and brought changes that essentially point to the problem of unbalanced regulation of human life in law and a sense of human justice. In everyday life we often hear people demanding justice, because they feel they have received unfair treatment. This can occur between citizens and the government, or perhaps also between individuals and their groups or because there are differences in the fulfillment of personal rights and so on. Justice is closely related to attitudes and relationships with fellow human beings because justice demands that every human being be treated as they are done. The problem is How is the nature of law and justice related to the philosophy of law and How is the form of justice pursued by judges? The method used in writing this paper is normative juridical, which is an approach based on law as the main material, the research specification used is descriptive analytical, which is research that aims to provide an overview of justice in Indonesia. While the data sources are secondary and primary data through primary field studies used as supporting data or supporting secondary data. From the research, the results were obtained: The nature of law and justice is very relative, because from which side we look at it there is a negative that law and justice are something that is not heavy after there are also those who say that justice is not necessarily found with field results and the form of justice in this case can be done by judges and rulers by trying to comply with laws and regulations and a sense of public justice, but judges are ordinary human beings who can make mistakes. MODIFIKASI PATI KIMPUL (Xanthosoma sagittifolium) DENGAN HIDROLISIS ENZIMATIK
Get PDFKimpul (Xanthosoma sagittifolium) memiliki kandungan pati alami yang tinggi sehingga berpotensi sebagai bahan baku pembuatan pati modifikasi. Pati alami memiliki banyak kelemahan sehingga perlu dilakukan proses modifikasi untuk mengatasi kekurangan dan meningkatkan fungsionalnya. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan modifikasi pati kimpul dengan metode hidrolisis enzimatis menggunakan kecambah kacang hijau sebagai sumber enzim α-amilase. Tujuan penelitian adalah menentukan kondisi terbaik konsentrasi kecambah kacang hijau dan waktu inkubasi berdasarkan analisis parameter uji meliputi yield, daya serap air, dan daya kembang pati kimpul termodifikasi. Proses modifikasi enzimatik dilakukan dengan menginkubasi pati kimpul yang dicampur dengan kecambah kacang hijau pada berbagai konsentrasi (20, 25, 30, dan 35% dari pati yang akan dimodifikasi) pada suhu 30°C selama 1, 2, dan 3 hari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kondisi terbaik diperoleh pada konsentrasi kecambah 35% dan lama inkubasi 2 hari dengan yield 99,2006%, daya serap air 3,58 g/g, dan daya kembang 35,14%

Dalam etika, dibicarakan dan dianalisis tema-tema sentral seperti hati nurani, kebebasan, tanggung jawab, norma, hak, kewajiban, dan keutamaan. Salah satu aspek yang disoroti etika berkaitan dengan perilaku perbuatan seseorang adalah pada bidang kerja atau keahlian yang disebut profesi. Etika dalam profesi hukum memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam upaya mewujudkan tercapainya penegakan hukum yang berkeadilan. Sehingga etika dalam profesi hukum (kode etik profesi) merupakan bagian yang terintegral dalam mengatur perilaku penegak hukum sebagai wujud penegakan hukum yang berkeadilan. Kata Kunci : Etika, Hukum, Profesi Hukum
