Perencanaan Tenaga Teknis Kefarmasian Berdasarkan Analisis Beban Kerja Menggunakan Metode WISN di RSIA KM
Human Resource is one of the main factors that drive the quality of hospital services. Human Resource Planning of pharmaceutical technicians at RSIA KM posed risks to service performance. The objective of this cross-sectional study was to analyze the pharmacy staff's needs and workload by using Workload Indicators of Staffing Need (WISN) method based on real-time activity standards for each workload. RSIA KM had 4 existing pharmacy technicians. Based on the WISN analysis, the results of the study show that WISN ratio was 0.49 or ≤ 1.00 which means there was a lack of pharmaceutical staffs. The ideal number of pharmaceutical staffs should be 8.08 or 8 staffs. In response to that, RSIA KM recruited 4 pharmacy technicians. Pengaruh Responsiveness Perawat dalam Praktik Komunikasi Terapeutik terhadap Kepuasan Pasien Instalasi Rawat Inap RSU Haji Surabaya
Background: Patient's satisfaction is one of indicators measured in the hospital minimum service standards. In Installation of Inpatient (IRNA) of Haji Surabaya hospital, there are 17 indicators, but only nine are met (52.94%). One of them is patients' satisfaction level amounted to 74.35% out of the standard (82%). The high number of complaints on nurses' competence in providing services causes the unachieved patients' satisfaction. There were 61 complaints from 2014 to 2017.Aim: This study aimed to analyze the influence of nurses' responsiveness to patients' satisfaction of in-patient installation (IRNA) at Haji Surabaya Hospital.Method: The questionnaires used Likert scale 1-5 for independent variables and dependent variables. The scoring scales for the independent variable or nurses' responsiveness range from strongly disagree to strongly agree. Meanwhile, the scoring scale for the dependent variable ranges from very dissatisfied to very satisfied.Results: The findings indicated that there was a significant influence of responsiveness on patients' satisfaction amounted to 0.003 (<α = 0.05). This indicated that the better assessment on the nurses' responsiveness is, themore satisfied the patients are at in-patient installation (IRNA), Haji Surabaya Hospital.Conclusion: It can be concluded that more than 20% of responses was satisfied with the nurses' responsiveness. The hospital needs to hold a human resource training especially a nurse-patient therapeutic communication training for maintaining the service quality at the hospital.Keywords: hospitalization, patient, responsiveness, satisfactio
Identifikasi Penyebab Rendahnya Kepesertaan JKN pada Pekerja Sektor Informal di Kawasan Pedesaan
The low membership of National Health Insurance (NHS) with only 56.85% family owning JKN Card was identified as the main problem based on urgency, seriousness, and growth in Payaman Village, Ngraho Sub-district, Bojonegoro District,. The purpose of this study is to identify the root cause of low JKN's membership by using Fishbone Analysis. This study was a Cross-sectional study. The sample in this research was 204 families selected by using simple random sampling technique. Data collection was conducted with interviews and direct observation. The root causes of the problems are the low level of public knowledge, lack of socialization, low level of education, and lack of health promotion media. The head of the family is less aware of the importance of NHS. Efforts that can be done by the village management in cooperation with Pondok Kesehatan Desa (Ponkesdes) Payaman Village and Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial(BPJS) Bojonegoro District are to educate the community about the importance of JKN card ownership, increase the availability of socialization media to make easier in understanding JKN, and form JKN cadres in Payaman Village. Aksesibilitas Mahasiswa Kesehatan dan Mahasiswa Non Kesehatan Strata S-1 Universitas Airlangga terhadap Program Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional
The participants of National Health Security in October 2016 still reached 66,11% of population. Society's and students' knowledge about the benefits and use of National Health Security was still low. The lack of knowledge, service use, and community participation showed the lack of accessibility of the National Health Security program. Students as agents of change are expected to make National Health Security successful. The objective of this research was to analyze the differences of health student's accessibility and non-health student's accessibility to National Health Security program. The method of this research was online questionnaires with an analytic type of research. The study used observational and cross sectional design. The results showed there were differences of accessibility between health students and non-health students based on knowledge, proximity of health facility that accepts National Health Security, perception of the importance of National Health Security, National Health Security participants, utilization of National Health Security, accessible information of National Health Security, affordability of National Health Security, and satisfaction of National Health Security. Meanwhile, health students' and non-health students' accessibility did not have differences on information access aspect, accommodation availability, and perception of the accuracy of National Health Security program.Keywords: accessibility, national health security, student
Penilaian Kepuasan Karyawan pada Sistem Pengelolaan Organisasi di RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya
Background: Assessment of employee's job satisfaction in an organization management system was conducted periodically by Dr. Soetemo Hospital. The data can be an archive of organizational value, supervision reinforcement, and effective communication for the manager. The measurement of employees' job satisfactionwas performed through Job Description Index (JDI).Aim: The aim of the research was to measure job satisfaction level of the employee at Dr. Soetomo Hospital.Method: The population of this study was 4347 employees at Dr. Soetomo Hospital, but only 413 were taken as the samples. The sample was calculated by Slovin formula. This sample size was taken based on proportional number of profession and department at Dr. Soetomo Hospital.Results: Most of the employees gave good assessment on Job Description Index (JDI) indicators among others which include job in general (78.9%), pay (59.1%), opportunities for promotion (67.3%), supervision (74.6%), people in present job (73.6%) and work in Present Job (72.9%). If JDI indicators are valued as employees' job satisfaction, it can be said that most of employees felt satisfied about the organization's management system at Dr. Soetomo Hospital, Surabaya (80,6%). However, there were still 12.3% of employees feeling unsatisfied about the organization's management system at Dr. Soetomo Surabaya Hospital.Conclusion: Overall, many staffs mentioned that their income and compensation were respectively bad and very bad. Literasi Informasi Kesehatan Nifas Ibu Hamil Berstatus Sosial Menengah ke Bawah
Background: Post-partum health information is hardly accessible to pregnant women. In fact, post-partum health literacy for pregnant mothers in relation to socio-economic factors allows the decline of post-partum morbidities.Aim: This research aimed to analyse the post-partum health information literacy of pregnant women with middlelow social status.Method: This was a quantitative study by using a direct survey technique to assess respondents' information literacy about post-partum health. There were 79 pregnant women to take part in this study. They only completed their high school degree as their highest educational level, and their family income was less than Rp 2,000,000($180) per month. This indicated that these participants are coming from middle-low social status. A selfdeveloped questionnaire was used in this study to be filled by respondents.Results: Results showed that nearly half of respondents (44.1%) found post-partum health information for their self-hygiene well-being after baby delivery process finished. Information accessed by pregnant women were elaborated from other people (66.1%) like as parents, relatives, colleagues, or health officers. Most of the participants agreed to trust captured information (78%), but there were only little use the information (11.9%).Conclusion: To summarize, the health information literacy of pregnant mothers with middle-low status was tenuously elaborated from other people, and most of them believed it. Analisis Beban Kerja Tenaga Rekam Medis Rumah Sakit Bedah Surabaya Menggunakan Metode FTE
Workload analysis is a human resource planning activity to determine staffs' needs, so organization goals can be achieved. Human resource planning at Rumah Sakit Bedah Surabaya is done periodically by using Workload Indicator Staff Need (WISN). Based on the calculation of WISN method, there is a discrepancy between the number of existing and required staffs in the Medical Record Unit of Rumah Sakit Bedah Surabaya. There is an excess of medical record staffs that will impact on employee's productivity. Therefore, it is so important to measure the workload based on real condition. There are several methods that can be used to analyze the workload. One of them is Full Time Equivalent (FTE). Data of the workload were obtained with interview and daily log which will be analyzed and converted into FTE index. Based on the results, it is found that the workload of supervisor and medical recorder in the morning shift is normal, but those in afternoon and night shift and helpers are underload. Analysis on Administrative Services in Dental Poly Clinic PLK Unair 2017
Service delivery and healthcare have become trends. Pusat Layanan Kesehatan Universitas Airlangga (PLK UNAIR) is in a network with various hospitals and governmental health insurance agencies for the community. The objective of this study is to describe the flow of the administrative services in the dental unit of PLK UNAIR. This study used a qualitative design through active participation, interviews, and observations. Results drawn from this study showed that the flow of administrative services at PLK UNAIR was successfully carried based on its objectives through the contribution of its employees. The summary shows the identification of patient flow at PLK UNAIR dental unit results in the high influx of patients which are mostly students. Pentingnya Perencanaan dalam Program Imunisasi di Dinas Kesehatan Kota Surabaya
Plannig of the health program in district level has been more dominated by top-down process. The targets specified from top level are ususally based on national projections and incompatible with the real situation in this area. The goal of this research is to analyse annual health planning in Immunization program Dinas Kesehatan Kota Surabaya. The research is a descriptive study with qualitative data. Data collected with in-depth interview to person in charge of program and document observation in City Health Department of Surabaya. The result of this research are: (1) Technical planning such as amount of target person of immunization, amount of logistic and vaccine needs, financial planning has been done, but the administrative implementation has not been fully done showed by some documents which actually do not exist. (2) Non-technical planning that is based on the problems of last year have not been implemented. (3) POA (Plan of Action) has never been made in immunization program, so it is necessary to form POA raw format and guidelines for the preparation of planning. (4) Steps in planning has not conform the rules justified. (5) Annual Training is required for the planning in immunization program for each person in charge. Beberapa Faktor yang Berhubungan dengan Keaktifan Kader Posyandu di Desa Pengadegan Kabupaten Banyumas
Background: Posyandu is a maternal and baby clinic to decline the infant mortality rate, infant birth rate, and maternal mortality. The success of activities in Posyandu depends on the cadre's activeness. Data obtained from Banyumas district office in 2013 showed that Puskesmas 1 Wangon hads the lowest percentage of active cadres in Banyumas district, especially posyandu in Pengadegan Village (36 cadres) (60%).Aims: This research aimed at identifying some factors related to the activity of cadres in Posyandu of Pengadegan Village, Banyumas Disctrict.Method: This study used an analytic survey method with total sampling of 60 cadres. The independent variables of this research are knowledge, occupation, motivation and government's support while the activeness of cadresis as a dependent variable. The research instruments were questionnaire and cadre attendance document. Data were analyzed descriptively by using Chi Square.Results: The result shows that knowledge, work, motivation and support of posyandu are related to the activity of cadres in Posyandu of Pengadegan Village, Banyumas Disctrict. Cadres' high activeness is influenced by good knowledge about maternal and baby clinic, high motivation, and unemployement.Conclusion: Knowledge, job, motivation and support from other stakeholders are needed to encourage cadres' participation in the maternal and baby clinic. Coaching and refreshing cadres on an ongoing basis and giving them an award can be alternatives to improve their active participation.Keywords: activeness, cadre, Posyand
