Analysis of Factors Affecting Consumer Purchase Behavior: Study in Muslim communities who shop online through the Shopee Application
This study aims to determine and analyze what factors influence consumer buying behavior in the era of citizen 4.0 and the most dominant influences on consumer buying behavior in citizen 4.0. This research uses descriptive and explanatory survey methods. Sampling was carried out using the Accidental Sampling sample technique. The data analysis technique used is factor analysis. The findings of this study are factors such as availability and price factors, promotion factors, comfort factors, varieties and comparison factors, after-sales service factors, and connectivity factors that influence consumer purchasing behavior in the era of citizen 4.0. Besides that, variety and comparison factors are the most dominant factors affecting consumer buying behavior in the age of citizen 4.0, followed by availability and price factors, comfort factors, promotion factors, after-sales service factors, and connectivity factors
Analysis of Investment Decisions at BMT Latansa Gontor Ponorogo
This study aims to examine customer decisions in investing in BMT. The theory used to predict customer decisions in investing is the theory of reasoned action. The research method used is quantitative research with data analysis techniques Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results showed that the sharia system, product knowledge, religiosity, attitudes, risk perception, image, and investment intentions affected investment decisions
Mediation Role of Workplace Spirituality on Work Stress and Employee Mental Well-being: A Study on health workers
This study investigates Work Stress's direct and indirect effects on Employee Mental well-being. This study uses quantitative analysis from an online questionnaire of up to 127 respondents as a research tool. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique. After the data is collected, the reliability of the data is tested using validity and reliability tests. In addition, hypothesis testing using SEM-PLS. The results showed that Work Stress could reduce Employee Mental Well-being. Also, simultaneously, Workplace Spirituality can affect Employee Mental Well-being. In addition, the role of Spirituality in the Workplace as a Moderator between Work Stress and Employee Mental Health
Corporate Social Responsibility in Family Business: A Scoping Literature Review
The study of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a phenomenon that continues to grow in the business world, which was initially widely studied in large companies and then developed in the study of family companies. Therefore, the literature on the topic must provide an updated overview of CSR research. This literature aims to study the concept of corporate social responsibility in family firms. This literature review follows the guidelines of (Arksey & O'Malley, 2005), which have five steps: identifying the research questions; identifying relevant studies; selecting studies; charting data; reporting, summarising, and reporting the results. The study was derived from the electronic database of Emerald, Springer, and Taylor Francis. Results show that corporate social responsibility in family companies is sustainable and a form of building reputation, family identity, and a good image in the business environment. The implications of this study are expected to be a reference and guide for implementing CSR in the family business to benefit wider stakeholders
Understanding Riba, Product Knowledge, and Attitudes: Influences on Intentions to Become Sharia Bank Customers
This study aims to examine the influence and understanding of the community about Islamic banks on the decision to become a customer of Islamic banks. The data collection technique in this research is using a questionnaire. The data collection technique used in this study. In comparison, the data analysis method uses quantitative description. The study results show that individual understanding of usury and product knowledge does not affect the intensity of being a Sharia bank customer. Attitudes towards Islamic banks affect the intensity of being a customer of Islamic banks. Meanwhile, understanding usury, product knowledge, and attitudes towards Islamic banks affect the intensity of becoming a customer
Pengaruh Model Kooperatif Tipe Two Stay Two Stray Terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika
This study was researched to determine the effect of the application of cooperative learning model type Two Stay Two Stray on improving students' math learning outcomes. The samples used were two of the six seventh graders in SMP there is Wangi-Wangi Selatan. This research was conducted in January-February 2020. This research is quantitative research with experimental research method using pseudo Quasi-Experimental Research. Data collection is done with pretest and posttest. Data processing is carried out using t-test and N-Gain test. Before data processing, homogeneity test and normality test are conducted. Hypothetical test results showed at the level of significance and obtained . This states that accepted and rejected. The results of the calculation of improved pretest study results of the experiment class have an average of 47.14 and posttest experiment classes have an average of 82.14 so that gained a gain of 0.662. The pretest kontrol class has an average of 47.14 and the Posttest kontrol class has an average of 65.71 so it gained a gain of 0.351. The conclusion is that the learning outcomes of both sample classes had significant differences and improved experimental class learning outcomes higher than the control class.Keywords : Math Learning Outcomes, Cooperative Learning, And Two Stay Two Stra
EFL Students' Preference on Seating Arrangement in Speaking Class
This study aims to identify students' choice for seating arrangement in speaking class.The researcher uses qualitative design. As a result this study focuses on students’ preference on seating arrangement in speaking class. The researcher conducted a case study involving 19 participants of the third semester at the English Education Study Program in IAIN Kendari and gathered data from observation, students’ reflection and questionnaire.The finding show that 72% buzz group seating, 10% horseshoe seating, 5% traditional seating, 5% pair seating, and 8% cluster seating. This study implies that seating arrangement help the students’ focus and interest in learning process, participating and engaged in cooperative learning. EFL Learner’s Beliefs in Pronunciation Learning
This qualitative study aims to identify students’ response to learners’ beliefs about pronunciation skill. The participants of this study consist of 35 students from the students of Pronunciation class in an institution, class A and B in the second semester of the academic year of 2019/2020. The qualitative data were analyzed by questionnaire. This study focuses on students’ beliefs in learning pronunciation. The result shows that students have four beliefs in learning pronunciation that is beliefs on learning process, learning pronunciation, strategy used in learning pronunciation, and the solution and importance of pronunciation. This will provide information to lecturers and universities to take advantage of beliefs in learning pronunciation.Keywords: importance of pronunciation; learning pronunciation; students’ belief
EFL Students’ Experience of Online Writing Class during Covid-19
This qualitative descriptive research discussed students' experiences during an online writing lesson. This research focuses on the questionnaire and reflection writing experience of second-semester students of English Department during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study used two indicators namely interaction and environment during online writing learning. The researcher found the experience of students affected by their environment is the constraints of the internet network and the cost of purchasing quotas. It caused by some student residential areas are still in remote areas. Positively some students feel it is facilitated by online learning because it can be done flexibly. In the interaction indicator, some students find it difficult if they are not taught directly, while others find it easier to understand because they can access wider learning.Keyword: Covid-19; EFL Students’ Experience; Online class; Writing
Teaching Strategies for Reading Comprehension: EFL Teachers’ Best Practices
This case study aims to discover teachers' practices for teaching second-grade reading comprehension at one of Kendari's Islamic state senior high schools. Using depth-interviews with two EFL teachers, the researchers scrutinized teachers' various strategies as best practices in teaching reading. Two teachers from one of Kendari's state Islamic senior high schools took part in this study. The findings of this study were based on the reading tactics utilized in class. The teacher employed pre-reading strategy training, asking students to check their memory of the text and having a brief conversation about the text's title. Also, the teacher employed calculative vocabulary, allowing the students to acquire skills for predicting word meanings based on context and prior knowledge. As for reading comprehension, the teacher engaged the class to read aloud and discuss how they understand what is written, observing students who asked questions about complex vocabulary during reading instruction and directing students to learn difficult vocabulary. Meanwhile, students' challenge in reading class requires more vocabulary and enthusiasm.Keywords: reading class; reading comprehension; teaching reading strategy
