EFL Students’ Experiences of Video Project Making in Teaching English for Young Learner Class
No full textThis study aims to investigate EFL students’ experiences of video project making in Teaching English for Young Learners class. Thematic analysis methods were used to analysed qualitatively the written reflections of five EFL students from English Education department. This study found that some of EFL students impressed positive toward making video storytelling. It also found that they did some preparation such as looking for several fairy tales types from various sources, selecting one story, composing dialogues, and dividing roles. Systematic stages, proceeding with benefits and challenges were found as well in their phase of making video storytelling. The implication of this study pedagogically is better for the educators and students in minimizing errors and deficiencies that occur in online collaborative project. It is also beneficial for EFL students to have digital literacy and digital skills in the near future
Kompetensi Membaca Pemahaman Siswa SD di Indonesia: Studi Kasus Kelas III SDI Sultan Agung
No full textThis study aims to describe the reading comprehension ability of third-grade elementary school students and to identify the obstacles they face in understanding texts. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. Data were collected through observation, oral tests, and in-depth interviews. Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that students' reading comprehension ability falls into the "sufficient" category, with an average score of 66. The most mastered indicator was expressing opinions about the text content, while identifying main ideas and drawing conclusions were the weakest aspects. Obstacles included lack of focus while reading, low motivation and reading interest, and underutilized literacy facilities. This study recommends implementing more structured reading instruction strategies, strengthening school literacy culture, and fostering collaboration among teachers, parents, and institutions to build positive reading habits.Keywords: Reading comprehension, reading ability, reading difficulties, elementar
Eksplorasi Pengalaman Mengajar Mahasiswa Calon Guru melalui Pendekatan Photovoice: Studi Fenomonologis di Sekolah Dasar Indonesia
No full textThis study aims to explore the emotional experiences of pre-service teachers during their Field Teaching Practice (PLP II) at SD Negeri 92 Kendari using the photovoice approach. Employing a qualitative method with a phenomenological design, data were collected through photovoice submissions and semi-structured interviews. The analysis followed three stages of coding: open coding, focused coding, and identification of critical incidents. The findings reveal that participants experienced a range of emotional states throughout the teaching practicum, including fear, anxiety, self-confidence concerns, as well as feelings of happiness, gratitude, and critical reflection. The photovoice technique proved effective in capturing and expressing the participants’ teaching experiences both visually and narratively. However, the study also faced limitations related to time constraints and data collection. This research contributes to the development of reflective methodologies in teacher education and offers insights into the emotional dynamics of novice teaching experiences.Keywords: Photovoice, teaching experience, pre-service teachers, emotional reflection, elementary educatio
Implementasi Zakat Penghasilan Pengusaha Sarang Burung Walet Kolaka Timur Perspektif Hukum Islam
No full textTujuan penelitian ini adalah mengungkap implementasi zakat penghasilan bagi pelaku usaha dalam tinjauan hukum Islam di Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. Penelitian ini diharapkan mampu memberi kontribusi konseptual terhadap pembaruan regulasi hukum zakat di masa mendatang, khususnya hukum zakat, mengingat berkembangnya bentuk mata pencaharian masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan teknik analisis deskriptif. penelitian dilakukan di Kabupaten Kolaka Timur. Selanjutnya, metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan penulusuran referensi. Lalu, teknik pengolahan data dan analisis data dilakukan dengan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pengusaha sarang wallet di Kabuapaten Kolaka Timur menzakatkan penghasilan budidaya walet menukilkan kadar zakatnya pada zakat emas yakni; penghasilan waletnya setara dengan 85 gram dalam kurun waktu satu tahun maka wajib dizakatkan. Adapun mereka yang tidak mengeluarkan zakat penghasilan budidaya walet adalah pengusaha walet tidak memiliki pengetahuan minim mengenai hukum zakat. Adapun tinjauan hukum Islam terhadap zakat penghasilan bagi pelaku usaha walet di Kabupaten Kolaka Timur dianalisis berdasarkan dalil-dalil al-Qur’an, Hadits dan Fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia (MUI) Nomor 12 tahun 2012 tentang Zakat Burung Walet yang menyatakan bahwa memelihara atau membudidayakan burung, termasuk mengambil manfaat dari sarangnya yang terbuat dari air liurnya termasuk kategori zat yang suci, sehingga disepakati bahwa hukumnya boleh. Selanjutnya penghasilan usaha walet yang setara harganya dengan emas 85 gram dalam kurun waktu satu tahun maka wajib dikeluarkan zakatnya. Walaupun terdapat masyarakat yang menganggap zakat walet dinukilkan pada zakat pertanian, namun para pengusaha walet di Kabupaten Kolaka Timur mengeluarkan zakat waletnya sesuai dengan kadar emas
NILAI-NILAI SPIRITUALITAS ANAK DALAM KISAH KELUARGA IMRAN: TELAAH TEMATIK PERSPEKTIF TAFSIR BIL MA’TSUR
Full text linkPenulisan ini bertujuan untuk menemukan nilai-nilai pengembangan spiritualitas anak dalam kisah keluarga Imran melalui pendekatan tafsir bil ma’tsur, serta sekaligus menggali pandangan mufassir mengenai hal tersebut. Penulisan dilakukan dengan metode studi pustaka (library research) dan menggunakan pendekatan tematik (maudhu’i), dengan merujuk pada sumber-sumber primer seperti kitab tafsir ath-Thabari, al-Azhar, Ibnu Katsir, al-Munir, Fi Zhilalil Qur’an, dan al-Misbah. Selain itu, analisis ini juga diperkuat oleh data sekunder yang diperoleh dari berbagai buku, jurnal, dan karya ilmiah lainnya. Temuan dari studi ini menunjukkan bahwa keluarga Imran merupakan keluarga istimewa yang mendapatkan kehormatan dari Allah SWT karena kesalehan serta komitmen spiritual yang tinggi. Imran digambarkan sebagai pribadi saleh dan pengabdi di Baitul Maqdis, sedangkan istrinya yaitu Hannah, dikenal dengan wanita yang taat dan shalehah, sementara putri mereka yakni Maryam, dan anaknya Nabi Isa AS mendapatkan perlindungan langsung dari Allah. Adapun, nilai-nilai pengembangan spiritualitas anak dalam kisah ini antara lain: memilih pasangan yang saleh, senantiasa berdoa dan berharap kepada Allah, 3) memberikan nama yang baik dan perhatian utuh kepada anak, serta 4) memberikan asupan makanan yang halal dan Baik. Linkage Between Sharia Fintech and Sharia Microfinance Institutions to Support Halal SMEs
No full textThis study aims to describe the development of Sharia fintech and Sharia microfinance institutions (SMIs) and outline the opportunities and challenges of the linkage between Sharia fintech and Sharia financial institutions in supporting halal SMEs. This study uses a qualitative method, data source used is secondary data previously presented, such as data obtained from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). The data collection technique used is a literature review from several sources relevant to the theme. The analysis technique used is SWOT Analysis to outline the opportunities and challenges in the linkage between Sharia fintech and Sharia SMIs in supporting halal SMEs. The results show that the growth of sharia fintech assets from October 2020 to April 2021 reached 85,54%. The asset growth of SMIs in April was 9,28%. Sharia fintech can synergize to support the development of halal SMEs by providing easier financial access for SME actors. Financing capital distribution can be done through Sharia financial institutions that already have many SME partners. The strength of Sharia fintech lies in utilizing technology to raise investor funds, which are then channeled to halal SME actors. The opportunities for Sharia SMIs lie in having direct access to SME actors who can obtain business capital
Quality of Education and Skills as Driving Factors of Per Capita Productivity: An Empirical Study in West Sulawesi
No full textEducation and skills are key elements in improving per capita productivity of a region. Thiss study aims to analyze the effect of education quality and skills on per capita productivity in West Sulawesi. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collected data through in-depth interviews with stakeholders such as educators, labor, and employers, as well as through direct observation in the field. The results show that the low quality of education and the lack of relevant skills training hinder the improvement of per capita productivity in the region. The findings also show that skills upgrading programs tailored to local labour market needs have a significant impact on labour productivity. Recommendations include improving the quality of education, developing industry-based skills training and stronger collaboration between the government, educational institutions and the private sector. This research provides important insights for policymakers in formulating strategies to improve economic productivity through investments in education and skill
Pamali Expressions in Muna Society
No full textThis research aims to explain the meaning of pamali which is a taboo expression that is still applied as an unwritten rule of life in the Muna community in Southeast Sulawesi. The method used in this research is descriptive. qualitative Data collection techniques in this research were obtained through interviews. The data was then analysed using field data analysis technique with ethnolinguistic approach. The result of this research shows that there are pamali expressions that are still believed by most Muna people. Some of the pamali expressions are pamali eating on the stairs of the house, pamali cutting nails at night, pamali washing dishes on Friday night, pamali sewing at night, pamali stepping on moringa stems, pamali shaving hair at night, pamali resting the chin on the hand, pamali eating in front of the door, pamali wearing a hat in the house, and pamali entering ppipit bird in the house. Pamali has an important role in maintaining the norms and customs prevailing in the Muna Community which functions as a tool to regulate individual behaviour to conform to the norms recognised by the community
Analysis of Critical Incident Strategy in PBA Student Edupreneurship Course at IAI Badrus Sholeh Kediri
No full textThe learning process is very influential in improving human resources that are superior, qualified and competitive. So that a supportive strategy is needed to make it happen, one of which is through the critical incident learning strategy. This study aims to determine and explain the steps of the Critical Incident strategy with its advantages and disadvantages in the Edupreneurship learning. This study uses a qualitative method with a field research approach. In this study, researchers used source triangulation with data collection techniques such as observation, interviews and documentation. The research subjects used PBA students of 7th semester who took the Edupreneurship learning. The results showed that IAI Badrus Sholeh Kediri is one of the universities that includes entrepreneurship education in its curriculum, one of which is the PBA study program. Therefore, by applying the Critical Incident strategy in the Edupreneurship learning can train students' memory, improve their ability to think critically, and can be used to solve problems practically in accordance with the RPS through various steps applied to the learning process. So that, they are able to understand the learning material through their own experiences which the educational objectives can be achieve

No full textThe rise of cases requesting validation/itsbat nikah at the Pasuruan Religious Court signals that there are still many people who are less or not even aware of the importance of marriage registration at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA). The research method used is normative legal research, using statutory, conceptual, and case approaches. The result of this study is the consideration of the Panel of Judges in deciding case number 0360/Pdt.P/2022/PA.Pas related to the decision to reject the marriage validation/itsbat nikah case against the ratio decedendi and the legal consequences for the wife and child is that the formal requirements carried out by both parties are not fulfilled. So that the legal consequences related to the rejection of the application for itsbat nikah by the judge against unregistered siri marriage are losses for the wife and children, including: difficulty obtaining the right to maintenance, joint property in the event of a divorce or the right to inheritance if the husband dies, the child will also find it difficult to get recognition from his father in the birth certificate
