Social Dynamics and Its Influences on Islamic Education Policy in the Secular Netherlands
This article aims to explore and analyze the secular Dutch government’s stance on Islamic education and its influence on the broader Islamic religious education system in the Netherlands. This qualitative study relies on data collected from library resources, including some regulations, books, and journal articles. Employing interpretative analysis, this study found that the government’s policy on Islamic religious education in the Netherlands has been significantly shaped by its historical and socio-cultural contexts. The growth of Islamic education in the Netherlands is coinciding with the rise in the number of Muslim immigrants. The greater the number of Muslim immigrants in the Netherlands, the stronger the government's attention to Islamic religious education. In the 20th century, the Netherlands showed a significant increase in the number of Muslim immigrants, which influenced the stronger government support for Muslim education. As a result, the Islamic education system has progressed in various aspects and gained its authority. This study implies that social dynamics have significant influences on Islamic education, even in a secular state like the Netherland
Parental Genome Quality on the Character of Children with Down Syndrome (Educational Perspective)
The genome is a collection of genes in chromosomes that are dynamic, active and are the command centre in forming complex creatures. The purpose of this study is to obtain information about the role of genomes in differences in children's character, because the quality of parents' genes basically determines how the character of children has differences from one child to another. and Down syndrome children and provide early knowledge to people who are not yet married that the quality of their genes determines their next generation. The research uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive analysis. Data were collected using interview and documentation techniques. The research subjects consisted of 4 children with Down syndrome and 4 parents (mother and father). From the results of interviews conducted, the role of the environment on genome quality is very influential. Firstly, out of 4 pairs of families, only 1 respondent has a history of genetic disorders while the other 3 respondents do not. Second, the environment affects the inhibition and speed of recovery of Down syndrome children if they do not and or get the right treatment. Third, children with Down syndrome have an equal opportunity to succeed. These findings emphasise the important role of family and community education in supporting the overall growth and development of children
Islamic Religious Education Teachers' Strategies in Increasing Students' Interest in Learning at SMPN 7 South Konawe
This research aims to analyse the strategies implemented by Islamic Religious Education teachers in increasing students' interest in learning at SMPN 7 South Konawe. In the educational context, interest in learning is an important factor that can influence the success of the learning process, especially in religious lessons which are often considered less interesting by some students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method involving direct observation, interviews with Islamic Religious Education teachers, school principals and students. The data obtained was analysed descriptively to identify various strategies used by teachers, as well as factors that support and hinder increasing student interest in learning. The research results show that the strategies implemented by teachers include an active learning approach, the use of interesting learning media, and providing motivation through positive reinforcement. Apart from that, students' internal factors, such as personal motivation and family support, also play an important role in increasing their interest in learning. However, there are several obstacles, such as a lack of supporting facilities and challenges in managing heterogeneous classes. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the development of more effective learning strategies in increasing students' interest in learning, especially in Islamic Religious Education lessons at SMPN 7 South Konawe
Pengembangan Modul Numerasi Materi Pengukuran Panjang (Monupa) Berbantuan Kodular terhadap Kemampuan Numerasi Siswa Sekolah Dasar
Numeracy skills are essential foundational competencies that must be mastered from the elementary school level. However, students' low interest in mathematics and high dependency on digital devices pose challenges that require innovative solutions. This study aims to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of the Numeracy Module on Length Measurement (Monupa), supported by Kodular, as a contextual, interactive learning solution aligned with students’ digital habits. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the ADDIE model, consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The module's validity was assessed by content and media experts and implemented among second-grade elementary students. The findings revealed that Monupa is highly valid (100% and 92%) and effectively enhances students' numeracy skills, with an average N-Gain score of 0.16. The highest improvement was observed in students' understanding of using numbers in length measurement. The module was considered user-friendly and engaging, demonstrating potential to boost students' active participation. This development strengthens the integration of mobile technology with numeracy learning strategies grounded in real-life contexts. Monupa contributes to innovative Android-based learning media that are responsive to the demands of 21st-century elementary education. Keywords: Elementary numeracy module; length measurement; Android-based learning; Kodular; student numeracy literac

Beyond Documentation: Understanding Implementation Barriers of Halal Certification Among Micro and Small Enterprises
This study examines the multifaceted challenges faced by Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in implementing halal certification in Selebar District, Bengkulu City, Indonesia. Despite the mandatory halal certification requirement established by Law Number 33 of 2014, many MSEs have yet to comply with this regulation. Through qualitative field research involving in-depth interviews with 11 MSE owners, this study identifies three critical barriers to halal certification implementation. First, there is a significant knowledge gap among MSE actors regarding halal certification requirements and available support programs, particularly the government's free certification initiative (SEHATI). Second, MSEs face substantial documentation challenges, with none of the studied businesses possessing the required Business Identification Number (NIB), compounded by limited technological literacy that hinders the application process. Third, there is low awareness among MSE actors about the strategic importance of halal certification for business sustainability. The findings suggest that successful implementation of halal certification requires a comprehensive approach that addresses knowledge barriers, simplifies documentation requirements, and builds awareness through targeted education programs. This research contributes to understanding the practical challenges of implementing halal regulations at the micro-enterprise level and offers policy recommendations for improving certification adoption rates
