Green Economy A New Model Future to Achieve SDGs in ASEAN: A Panel ARDL Analysis
ASEAN is highly vulnerable to climate change, ranking among the 20 most at-risk countries globally. Carbon emissions present a significant challenge to sustainable development. Addressing these emissions can mitigate environmental risks and create new opportunities in social, economic, and environmental dimensions. ASEAN’s strategy to achieve sustainable development focuses on decarbonization, promoting a green transition to foster economic growth. This study examines the green economy as a model for sustainable development in ASEAN, based on a framework developed by the OECD, encompassing economic (energy intensity), environmental (renewable energy), and social (expected years of schooling) dimensions. The analysis covers 10 ASEAN countries from 1992–2022 using an Autoaggressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) panel model. Short-term results show energy intensity negatively impacts carbon emissions, renewable energy has a positive yet insignificant effect, and schooling has a significant positive effect. In the long term, energy intensity has a significant positive effect, while renewable energy and schooling show insignificant effects. These findings offer valuable insights for ASEAN policymakers to address carbon emissions and promote a green economic model for sustainable development, considering regional challenges and opportunitie
Optimization of Artificial Intelligence-Based Research in Minimizing Student Academic Procrastination
This study uses a systematic literature review approach in describing the phenomenon that often occurs related to academic procrastination, which often afflicts final year students. Academic procrastination is experienced by students due to several things related to poor time management, difficulty in concentrating, fear of failure, and boredom with the task. The condition of final year students when working on a thesis or final project will be tested for consistency, if they experience academic procrastination, it will have an impact on the completion of the study period, in this case students will take longer to finish than their classmates, this phenomenon is quite common when a deadlock or burnout appears and will eventually trigger a condition of academic procrastination. This condition can be overcome by using tools based on Artificial Intelligence, by utilizing various scientific sources available on online pages and optimizing Artificial Intelligence, students can make this option a real action in minimizing the procrastination that often arises. Artificial Intelligence-based tools that can be optimally utilized are divided into several, namely AI for searching scientific sources, writing assistance, paraphrasing, illustrating research data, office products and increasing productivity, with this diversity, the term AIEd (AI Education) has emerged, namely AI used in the realm of education
EFL Students’ Resilience and Speaking Performance across Learning Frequencies
Despite increasing attention to the role of frequency in second and foreign language learning, prior studies have predominantly focused on its relationship with individual learner differences such as motivation, learning styles-strategies, and cultural awareness. However, there remains a notable gap in exploring how varying learning frequencies influence psychological factors, particularly learning resilience, and also the previous research has examined the effects of frequency on cognitive outcomes such as vocabulary and grammar learning or the correlations of listening frequency and speaking skills, few have addressed how distinct levels of learning frequency directly impact both learning resilience and speaking performance. Grounded in self-efficacy and resilience theory, the study aimed at investigating the extent to which differences in learning frequency contribute to variations in EFL students’ learning resilience and speaking performance. An explanatory sequential mixed-method design was employed, integrating a frequency classification questionnaire for learning frequency grouping, a learning resilience scale questionnaire, and an English-speaking performance test for 189 respondents, supplemented by semi-structured interviews for qualitative validation conducted with 36 respondents. All instruments were tested for validity and reliability. Findings indicate that high-frequency learners exhibit superior self-regulation and communicative competence (p=.000 >.05; ηp² = .877), suggests that 87.7% of the variance in resilience and performance was explained by learning frequency, representing an extremely large effect. High-frequency learners exhibited structured routines, adaptive strategies, and greater emotional and cognitive readiness, supporting stronger resilience and speaking performance. In contrast, low-frequency learners showed inconsistent habits, reactive behaviors, and heightened anxiety. Medium-frequency learners demonstrated moderate engagement, with fluctuating outcomes depending on study consistency

Benefits of Pair Work Activity in Speaking Class: A Narrative Review
This narrative review investigates the benefits of pair work activities in EFL speaking classes. The data for this study were drawn from 25 selected articles published between 2013 and 2023. The research explores four main themes related to pair work in EFL speaking: language development through practice, social and emotional support in learning environments, active engagement and participative learning, and effective pedagogical strategies. The conclusions drawn from the 25 articles reveal several benefits of pair work activities, including language development through practice (enhancing speaking proficiency and facilitating vocabulary acquisition), social and emotional support in learning environments (encouraging peer feedback, creating a supportive learning environment, reducing anxiety, and increasing confidence), active engagement and participative learning (promoting active student engagement and increasing participative learning), and effective pedagogical strategies (the teacher's role in enhancing pair work effectiveness and effective task structuring). The research suggests that integrating pair work activities into EFL speaking instruction can significantly improve language learning outcomes. Furthermore, EFL teachers can effectively utilize pair work to enhance students' speaking abilities, boost their confidence, and improve overall language proficiency.
