PSSI Crisis Response Strategy : Analysis of Kanjuruhan Tragedy News on Media Detik.com
Get PDFA crisis is a situation or incident that can threaten an organization's reputation. One of the incidents that caused an organizational crisis was the Kanjuruhan tragedy. The existence of the Kanjuruhan tragedy, PSSI as a federation, is in the public spotlight for its response and actions. PSSI needs to give the right response so that the crisis does not have a negative impact on the organization's image. This research aims to find out the image restoration strategy used by PSSI in dealing with the crisis. This research uses Benoit's Image Restoration Theory. In describing PSSI's strategy, this research uses a descriptive quantitative method. The population used all news about PSSI's response to the Kanjuruhan tragedy published on Detik.com in October-November 2022. Sampling used the purposive sampling method. The results of this study show that PSSI uses all categories of image restoration strategies, such as denial, evasion of responsibility, reducing offensiveness, corrective action, and mortification. The evasion of responsibility strategy is the most dominant strategy, but it is not effective in improving the image because it avoids responsibility.

The Position of E-Commerce that Causes Default in the Perspective of Fiqh Muamalah
Get PDFWith the ease of accessing the internet and the advancement of technology, the system of buying and selling has become easily accessible anytime and anywhere. The objective of this study is to uncover the e-commerce system in online buying and selling conducted by students of IAIN Bone, the emergence of various online shopping sites such as Lazada, Shopee, Tiktok Shop, Tokopedia, Bukalapak, and various other online shopping sites, resulting in violations known as breach of contract. Using empirical research and data collection based on survey results to students who use online shopping site applications during the year 2023. The results show that students who generally use online shopping sites through the e-commerce system experience breach of contract where the goods received do not match what was promised. The percentages are as follows: 36% on Shopee, 29% on Tiktok Shop, 21% on Lazada, 9% on Bukalapak, and 5% on Tokopedia
Exploring Harmonization Challenges Between Islamic and Positive Law on Polygamy in Indonesia
Get PDFThe harmonization between Islamic law and positive law regarding polygamy in Indonesia presents significant legal and social challenges. This study aims to explore the complex interactions and conflicts between these legal systems using a structuralist epistemological approach. The research is conducted through an in-depth literature review that analyzes the intersections of Islamic doctrines and civil regulations, specifically focusing on how these structures influence the interpretation and implementation of polygamy-related laws. Findings reveal that while Islamic law allows polygamy under strict conditions, positive law imposes additional constraints to ensure fairness and protect the rights of all individuals involved. The study underscores a significant gap between the legal provisions and their practical enforcement, often influenced by cultural perceptions and social norms. Conclusively, the research suggests that achieving harmonization requires not only legal reforms but also cultural and educational efforts to address the disparities in polygamy's practice and regulation, aiming to uphold both religious traditions and human rights standards. Formalism and Power of Language: Unravelling the Narratology of Final Fantasy XVI
No full textUsing the framework of formalist analysis, this study examines how language serves as a source of power in shaping the narrative depth, character development, and thematic exploration of Final Fantasy XVI. This research involves analyzing various types of language, from dialogue and narration to symbolism, metaphor, and simile. The research methodology employed is qualitative analysis, allowing for an in-depth examination of the linguistic complexities present in the game through textual analysis and content analysis. By thematically dissecting language and applying techniques from formalist linguistics, such as Deixis Analysis, the study aims to determine how game creators purposefully use linguistic techniques to construct emotional connotations and expressive effects. Additionally, it explores how witty dialogues between characters contribute to the development of story-related themes. This study reveals how the linguistic fabric of Final Fantasy XVI functions as an effective tool in crafting an engaging and powerful story. It draws players deeper into the game's world and evokes their sympathies for the various forces at play. Furthermore, the research highlights the intentional use of linguistic devices to enhance narrative immersion and emotional impact, showcasing the intricate interplay between language and storytelling in video games. Interaction Between Self-Efficacy and Instrumental Motivation among Indonesian L2 Learners of English
No full textThe present study intended to investigate second/foreign language (L2) learners’ level of instrumental motivation and the extent to which it predicted their self-efficacy. A survey method was used. It involved 144 Indonesian L2 learners of English from seven non-English departments through a convenience sampling. Through descriptive statistics, this study found that the instrumental motivation associated with future professions, academic success, and practical reasons were all high. Through bivariate linear regression, the study also found that learners’ instrumental motivation significantly predicted their self-efficacy, being able to explain 22.2% of its total variance. Implications include promoting in L2 instruction meaningful and relevant real-world tasks for learners whose majors are not English so that they are willing to invest more time and effort for L2 learning success and gradually build their self-efficacy. Examples of activities include using English for job opportunities, passing exams, or meeting language requirements. For classes with learners from various disciplines, teachers could also allow some freedom in choosing topics or tasks. This study might provide an overview of the relationship between instrumental motivation and self-efficacy, serving as a foundation for future research in this area. Limitations are stated alongside the suggested directions for relevant future studies in the field of instrumental motivation and self-efficacy

No full textPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang terdapat dalam buku ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti jenjang SMA terbitan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) edisi 2017. Metode analisis kualitatif digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi teks buku ajar dengan fokus pada identifikasi nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang disajikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ajar tersebut menyajikan berbagai nilai moderasi beragama, seperti toleransi, menghormati perbedaan, keadilan, dan sikap saling menghargai antarumat beragama. Namun, ada juga beberapa aspek yang perlu diperhatikan, seperti kedalaman pemahaman konsep-konsep agama dan pengintegrasian nilai-nilai ke dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari. Kesimpulannya, buku ajar tersebut memberikan landasan yang kuat untuk pembentukan karakter yang moderat beragama bagi siswa SMA, tetapi juga memerlukan peninjauan lebih lanjut untuk memastikan bahwa nilai-nilai tersebut diterapkan secara efektif dalam pembelajaran dan praktek kehidupan sehari-hari

No full textArtikel ini mengkaji konsep dan praktik Hak Asasi Manusia (HAM) dalam tradisi Sufi, khususnya melalui pemahaman dan pengalaman Abdurrahman Wahid (Gus Dur), seorang tokoh Islam yang dikenal dengan pandangan progresifnya terhadap HAM. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data primer diperoleh melalui analisis teks-teks karya Gus Dur, termasuk pidato, tulisan, dan wawancara yang relevan. Data sekunder meliputi literatur terkait HAM dalam Islam dan Sufisme. Studi ini mengidentifikasi konsep-konsep kunci dalam tradisi Sufi yang mendukung prinsip-prinsip HAM, seperti universalisme, toleransi, dan keadilan. Gus Dur dianggap sebagai penerjemah kontemporer nilai-nilai Sufi ke dalam konteks HAM modern, dengan menekankan pentingnya penghormatan terhadap martabat manusia, kebebasan beragama, dan perlindungan terhadap kehidupan dan harta benda. Analisis ini juga mengeksplorasi implementasi praktis konsep-konsep ini dalam kehidupan Gus Dur, termasuk perannya dalam advokasi untuk pluralisme agama, kesetaraan gender, dan kebebasan berekspresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman Gus Dur terhadap HAM tidak hanya bersumber dari tradisi keislaman, tetapi juga terwujud dalam praktik kehidupannya sebagai pemimpin dan intelektual

No full textArtikel ini membahas tentang pendekatan fiqh nawāzil dalam menghadapi problematika hukum mabit di Mina Jadid pada ibadah haji. Mina Jadid yang merupakan perluasan dari kawasan Mina untuk mabit, secara geografis berada di luar batas asli Mina. Perluasan ini dilakukan untuk mengakomodasi meningkatnya jumlah jamaah. Hal ini menimbulkan perdebatan terkait keabsahan ibadah, terutama dalam hal memenuhi syarat sah mabit yang diharuskan dilakukan dalam wilayah Mina. Penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai pandangan fuqaha atau ulama dalam ranah fiqh nawāzil, yaitu pendekatan hukum Islam kontemporer yang menyesuaikan dengan keadaan dan kebutuhan zaman. Dengan memperhatikan prinsip-prinsip kaidah fikih, artikel ini bertujuan untuk menawarkan pemahaman yang holistik mengenai solusi syar’i dalam problematika mabit di Mina Jadid menggunakan perspektif fiqh nawāzil. Penelitian ini merupakan studi literatur dengan menggunakan pendekatan normatif. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat perbedaan pandangan di kalangan ulama, banyak yang membolehkan dan mendukung perluasan ini dengan alasan kemaslahatan dan kebutuhan praktis bagi jamaah haji

No full textThis study aims to find out whether the conflict between Palestine and Israel caused the emergence of the issue of boycotting one of the multinational companies that support one of the countries in conflict. This research is quantitative using the method of event studies with a period of 14 working days, seven days before and seven days after the boycott issue. This study used descriptive statistical test analysis, shapiro-wilk normality test, and hypothesis test. The results showed that there was a significant difference in share prices and abnormal returns before and after the issue of boycotting Unilever products. Female EFL Pre-Service Teachers’ Experiences During Field Teaching Practice at Vocational School
No full textIn the context of teacher training, the integration of gender dynamics within the educational setting has received increasing attention, particularly in environments where gender roles are distinctly emphasized. However, there remains a significant gap in the literature concerning the specific challenges and strategies of female EFL pre-service teachers in male-dominated vocational schools, which this study seeks to explore. This qualitative study aims to uncover the experiences of female EFL pre-service teachers during their field teaching practice in a male-dominated vocational school. The data were gathered from the reflections of nine female pre-service teachers. The findings revealed a variety of experiences encountered by the participants. They shared their initial reactions and feelings upon being assigned to teach at the school, the challenges they faced during the teaching practice, the difficulties encountered when interacting with male students, and the strategies they developed to overcome these interaction challenges.Keywords: Female EFL pre-service; field teaching practice; vocational schoo
