Faktor Psikologis dalam Pembelajaran Matematika: Analisis Minat, Motivasi, dan Kemandirian Belajar Siswa
This quantitative research examines the influence of psychological factors such as interest, motivation, and learning independence on students' mathematics learning outcomes during online learning, using the causal research design. Data were analyzed using generalized linear models. The population consisted of all Grade VIII students at a public junior high school at Konawe Selatan, Southeast Sulawesi, Indonesia, totaling 273 students. A sample of 73 students was selected using a cluster random sampling technique. The results showed that only the variable of interest in learning mathematics had a significant effect on students' mathematics learning outcomes at a significance level of 5%. The findings indicate that as students' interest in learning increases, their mathematics learning outcomes improve by 0.56 points. In contrast, learning motivation and learning independence did not significantly affect students’ mathematics learning outcomes

Fostering Cross-Cultural Understanding among Indonesian EFL Students: Exploring Progress and Challenges
This narrative literature review explores the progress and challenges of promoting cross-cultural understanding (CCU) among Indonesian students through English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction. In response to the increasing demands of globalization and Indonesia’s rich multicultural landscape, the government has incorporated CCU into the national curriculum, notably the Kurikulum Merdeka. The review highlights the integration of local cultural elements in textbooks and classroom practices and emphasizes EFL teachers’ pivotal roles in fostering intercultural awareness. However, the study reveals persistent obstacles, including overemphasis on local cultures, skepticism toward foreign cultural content, and teachers’ static views of culture. These factors hinder students’ global cultural competence. The review concludes with implications for policymakers, educators, and researchers, advocating for balanced cultural exposure and professional development.

Macroeconomic Determinants of Islamic Stock Market Performance: An Analysis of Interest Rates, Inflation, Exchange Rates and Gold Prices
This study investigates how key macroeconomic variables influence the Islamic stock market in Indonesia through analysis of the Jakarta Islamic Index (JII). The research examines the impact of interest rates, inflation, exchange rates, and global gold prices on Islamic stock price movements, using monthly time series data from 2017 to 2021. The study employs multiple linear regression analysis with classical assumption tests to analyze the relationships between these variables. The findings reveal that interest rates have a significant positive effect on Islamic stock prices, while exchange rates demonstrate a significant negative impact. Inflation shows a negative but insignificant influence, and global gold prices exhibit a negative but statistically insignificant effect on the Islamic stock index. The model explains 69.8% of the variance in Islamic stock prices, indicating the substantial role of macroeconomic factors in determining Islamic stock market performance. These results provide valuable insights for investors, policymakers, and market participants in understanding the dynamics of Islamic stock markets and their relationship with broader economic conditions. The study contributes to the growing literature on Islamic finance by demonstrating how Sharia-compliant investments respond to various macroeconomic factors, offering practical implications for investment strategies and market regulation
Analyzing Consumer Shopping Interest Drivers: The Impact of Promotional Strategies in E-Commerce Among Muslim Students
This study investigates how key promotional strategies influence online shopping interest among Muslim university students, focusing specifically on discounts, free shipping offers, and cash-on-delivery (COD) payment systems in the Shopee e-commerce platform. Using a quantitative approach with survey data from 100 Muslim students in Kendari City selected through quota sampling, and the research employs ordinal regression analysis to examine the relationships between these promotional elements and shopping interest. The findings reveal that discounts and free shipping offers significantly influence shopping interest, with discount promotions showing the strongest effect (odds ratio of 2.19), followed by free shipping (odds ratio of 1.29). Interestingly, the COD payment system demonstrates no significant impact on shopping interest. The model explains 52.3% of the variance in shopping interest, highlighting the substantial role of promotional strategies in driving e-commerce adoption among Muslim students. These results provide valuable insights for e-commerce platforms and marketers in developing targeted promotional strategies for the Muslim student segment. The study contributes to the understanding of Muslim consumer behaviour in digital commerce by demonstrating how different promotional tools influence their shopping interests while considering their unique characteristics as digital-native consumers with specific religious values and limited disposable income

The Study of Derrida’s Deconstruction in the Short Story “Kembang Dewaretna” by Yanusa Nugroho
This paper reveals the main problem regarding the author's efforts in presenting the reversal of the hierarchy of the character Danaraja who experiences defeat in the short story "Kembang Dewaretna". To answer this problem, this study uses Jacques Derrida's deconstruction theory. Deconstruction is a theory in literary research that rejects the view that language has a definite, certain, and constant meaning as in the classical structuralist view. This rejection occurs because of the separation of space between the signifier and the signified which is considered absolute in the form of traces behind the traces. The method used in this study is deconstruction. This method explains that deconstructing a discourse or literary text shows the collapse of the underlying philosophy or is in hierarchical opposition (binary opposition) to something that is its basis through the identification of operational forms of rhetoric in the text. The results of the study reveal that deconstruction in the short story "Kembang Dewaratna" is a reversal of the hierarchy between the characters Rahwana and Danaraja. The character Rahwana is always narrated as the winner in every battle, while Danaraja is a character who always experiences defeat. In the short story "Kembang Dewaretna", the reversal of the hierarchy is shown by showing the victory of the figure of Danaraja in the fight against Rahwana. Thus, it is concluded that the form of Danaraja's victory is a deconstruction of the elimination of the figure of Rahwana as the center who always appears with his victory
An Analysis of Code Switching Found in the Indonesian Series “My Nerd Girl”
In an aspect of daily life that involves interactions carried out by one person with another, this can be said to be natural and most likely tends to give rise to various language variations, either in the form of accents or from how they convey something in the same language so that they are connected to each other and understand what people want to convey. Furthermore, humans and language are a unit that cannot be separated because to communicate with other humans it takes a language as a tool that describes a person’s intentions and goals. This is where sociolinguistics functions to learn more about the relationship between social life and society in one scope. Code switching is a language variation by combining words or sentences using several languages in one topic of conversation which aims to facilitate communication. Code switching itself can be applied anytime and anywhere as long as it is adapted to the context. The phenomenon of code switching is very common in everyday life because it can be said that it is already familiar, one of which can be seen in the series “My Nerd Girl”. All the episodes in this series are pretty much shown how some characters relate code switching by using two languages, namely Indonesian and English. Therefore, this series can be considered to be studied in more detail.
