Li Qawm Yatafakkarun (Untuk Kaum yang Berfikir): Signifikannya dalam Tafsir Muhammad Asad
Kitab The Message of the Qur’an (Risalah al-Qur’an) yang diusahakan oleh Muhammad Asad selama lebih 17 tahun membawa pesan yang signifikan dari kata kuncinya li qawm yatafakkarun (untuk kaum yang berfikir). Ia menegaskan pandangan dan kefahaman rasional dan intelek yang melatari perbincangannya yang ekstensif terhadap ayat al-Qur’an. Tema ini diketengahkan bagi merekonstruksi dan memperbaharui pemikiran dan merealisasi idealisme perubahan dan ijtihad. Tulisan ini diilhamkan dari ucaptama yang disampaikan oleh Prof. Mohd Kamal Hassan ketika peluncuran buku Risalah al-Qur’an juzuk 30 oleh Islamic Renaissance Front di Muzium Kesenian Islam pada 26 Februari 2012, berangkat dari usulnya yang bernas yang mengesyorkan supaya ditambah nota kaki sebagai penjelasan yang ringkas tentang li qawm yatafakkarun
Learning Innovation Management on Effective Classes at SMPIT Cordova Samarinda
The research is intended to find out (1) the concept of learning innovation, (2) the implementation of learning innovation management functions, (3) the implication of learning innovation management, and (4) obstacles and solutions of the implementation of learning innovation management at effective classes at Integrated Islamic Secondary School (SMPIT) Cordova Samarinda. This research used a qualitative approach with case study and the data was collected through deep interview, observation and documentation. The informans of the research are the head and his vice of the foundation, coordinator of the effective classes, teachers and students. The data was analysed by using descriptive technique. For the research findings, it was found that (1) the concept of learning innovation for effective classes is built through middle input with an effective learning process and produces an effective output; (2) the implementation of learning innovation management functions of effective classes was carried out through planning design by determining input sellection standard, an effective process standard, an effective output standard, learning innovation organization through enriched curriculum, time allocation, teachers’ roles and duties, learning sources, learning innovation through moving class, a standardized teachers, IT-based management, full day school program, and three evaluations of learning innovation, namely test and non-test with mastery learning standard, and high competition class assessment; (3) the implication of learning innovation management covers integrated learning management system, better teacher qualification standard, and increase school reputation; and (4) obstacles and solution disrupt the implementation of learning innovation management of effective classes at SMPIT Cordova Samarinda
Muhammad Shalih As-Samarani (1820-1903 M): Representasi Dakwah Islam Nusantara dalam Kajian Akademis
The aim of this paper is to understand how the da’wa of Islam Nusantara by Muhammad Shalih as-Samarani is represented in academic works. Data of this paper are 18 academic manuscripts dated from 2015 to date. This paper finds that there are two strands of representations about the Islam Nusantara of Muhammad Shalih as-Samarani; the dominant narrative and the ‘other alternative’. Both narratives present as-Samarani as different actor. The first narrative present as-Samarani as a mufassir (interpreter of the Qur’an) and the second narrative present as-Samarani as a person who has deep knowledge on multiple disciplines such as fiqh, orthodox tasawwuf, and education. However, both narratives share one thing in common; they present as-Samarani as a Sufi Muslim who contributed greatly to the dialogue between Islamic teachings and elements of local wisdoms.Keywords: academic works, as- Samarani, and representation of Islam Nusantara
Peranan Perbankan Syariah Terhadap Pengembangan Modal Usaha Mikro, Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM)
This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic banking toward the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) capital in Yogyakarta. This test uses primary data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires with analysis tools using SPSS 20 software. The sampling method in this study used purposive sampling where 100 samples were selected according to the research criteria. In this study using the sample criteria with microfinance customers in Islamic banking in Yogyakarta. The data analysis technique in this test is multiple regression analysis. So, the results obtained in this test show that the variables of assistance, accessibility, and financing products have a positive and significant effect on capital development. However, the service variable does not have a positive and significant effect on MSMEs’ capital development in Yogyakarta
Problematika Pelayanan Akademik Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Samarinda
Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pelayanan akademik yang ada di Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Institut Agama Islam Negeri (FTIK IAIN) Samarinda. Sedangkan, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui problema, faktor dan solusi atau upaya yang telah dilakukan dalam menghadapi problema dalam pelayanan akademik fakultas, serta menawarkan solusi atau upaya lain bagi problema pelayanan akademik FTIK IAIN Samarinda yang masih membutuhkan solusi atau upaya penanganan. Penelitian ini termasuk deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil yang didapat dalam penelitian ini yaitu dalam pelayanan akademik FTIK IAIN Samarinda terdapat beberapa problema. Solusi atau upaya penanganan telah dilakukan untuk menangani problema yang ada. Namun, masih terdapat beberapa problema yang belum mendapatkan solusi atau upaya penanganan dikarenakan belum ditemukannya solusi atau upaya untuk menangani sebagian problema yang dimakasud. Sehingga masih dibutuhkannya ide solusi atau upaya yang membantu untuk menangani sebagian problema tersebut
Pendidikan Karakter Melalui Kuntau Seni Beladiri Masyarakat Banjar Di Kalimantan Selatan
Character education is one of the national education programs that is always promoted for the younger generation, ranging from Basic Education to Higher Education. The government thinks character education is a solution to various problems, ranging from corruption, intolerance, to environmental problems such as garbage and floods. Various methods are used in order to grow these characters. The focus of this research is how character education is in accordance with the values of Islamic teachings through the Kuntao martial arts. Kuntao is a traditional martial art that has long been practiced by the Banjar people in South Kalimantan. This research is expected to provide a new treasure about the contribution of the traditional martial arts of the banjar community in Islamic education. The research method used is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. The subjects of the study were the martial arts teacher, students, peers, and parents. Data analysis using miles and Huberman analysis. Data validity through source triangulation. The results of this study are that character education through martial arts has fulfilled the 3 pillars of character education in Islamic education namely morals, etiquette, and exemplary. Being obedient in carrying out the Islamic Shari'ah, respecting others, self-confidence, and humility are the characters that are formed through the teaching of martial arts in the Banjar community. In harmony with Islamic values that can not be separated from the role model of the teacher’s kuntao.
Error Analysis in the Descriptive Text Writing of Vocational High School Students
English is one of the subjects that has been studied at the elementary to secondary level for many years in Indonesia. One area that must be studied is technical writing skills in English. In the technical writing process in English, there are still many mistakes made by students in Indonesia. So it is very necessary to recognize some common mistakes made by students, to help them improve their teaching and learning strategies in English and improve their learning outcomes. Therefore, this study aims to investigate errors in English technical writing of students at secondary vocational level and the factors that cause these errors. This study focused on errors made by the eleventh grade students of State 10 Vocational High School Jakarta, in their written descriptive text. A total of 30 students were the subjects of this study and they were asked to write descriptive texts. Data is analyzed based on Procedure Analysis This descriptive qualitative study explains and investigates student errors in writing the technique and the causative factors. Research shows that the typical mistakes students make in their writing: the highest place is capitalization with 60 errors (14.67%) and the lowest place is sentence 3 error (0.73%). According to a typical error, the author found the source of the error. The highest place is transfer between languages with 172 errors (42.05%) and the lowest place is a communication strategy with 49 errors (11.98%)
Model Pembiayaan Syariah Dalam Mengatasi Praktik Sistem Tebasan Di Sentra Padi Nasional
The objectives of this study to identify the implementation of tebasan practices, analyze the contribution of the role of Islamic financial institutions and develop a sharia financing model to solve the practice of tebasan. The research method used with a qualitative approach, through interviews with farmers and Islamic financial institutions. The results showed that the practice of the tebasan in Indramayu had been carried out for a long time by the community, this was due to the lack of understanding of Islamic law which made the farmers continue to carry out the practice. In addition, the contribution of Islamic financial institutions to solved the practice has not yet existed. The absence of limited capital human resources and businesses that have large risks are the main factors of Islamic financial institutions have not contributed. Islamic finance which can be a solution to solve the practice of tebasan source non-commercial financing (Al-Qardhul Hasan) and commercial financing (Salam, Musyarakah or Mudharabah)
Pandangan Al-Qur’an Atas Peran Ayah Dalam Proses Perkembangan Anak (Kajian Tafsir Tematik)
This article discusses about Al-quran opinion on the role of father in develoment of the child. The focus of this study is to reveal the verses of Al-qur'an that relate to the role of father in the family. Furthermore, this article will also illustrate the story of the father in the Qur'an. This article is a library research with descriptive-analytic method. The lens of contemporary and classic tafsir paradigm are also used as the aproach to analyse the data. From the analysis that has been carried out, this research concludes several important remarks. Firts, the Qur'an shows a role that should be applied by a father in the development process of his children, one of which is by monitoring and controlling the daily lives of children, instilling educational values, building good closeness and communication with children, and providing support and direction well. Second, several verses in the Qur’an describe the role of fathers who have their own way of educating their children, so that the method is relevant to be applied in the present context, They are Luqman, Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Nuh, and Prophet Ya'qub.
