    Evaluation of Child-Friendly Schools Program in Islamic Schools using the CIPP Model

    This study aims to evaluate the extent of the implementation of the Child Friendly School program at MTsN 6 Jombang. This evaluation research uses the CIPP evaluation model. This research is an evaluative research with a qualitative approach with a type of case study. The data collection technique is done by interview, observation, and documentation methods. While the data analysis stage was carried out in three stages, namely reduction, presentation, and verification. The results showed that: (1) In the context evaluation, it can be said that the program is in accordance with the needs of the community and there is also a legal basis for the implementation of the program; (2) In the evaluation, the input aspect can be said to be very good, because the implementation of the program is handled very well, namely by the formation of a Child Friendly School Team and also the existence of facilities that support the program; (3) Evaluation of the process aspects related to the program shows that the program is carried out very well, including that almost all existing learning processes must include child-friendly elements in the curriculum. Apart from that cooperation is also carried out to all stakeholders; and (4) Regarding the evaluation of the results, it can be seen from the awards that the school has received, both in the academic and non-academic fields, including those related to the Child Friendly School program, which is winning the highest award or the best national level predicate as a Child Friendly School. The results of this evaluation research are expected to contribute to Islamic education institutions as best practice in implementing the Child Friendly School program

    The Imperativeness of Curriculum Improvement of Diniyah Education at the Wustha Level in South Kalimantan

    Islamic educational institutions in South Kalimantan are mushrooming both formally and informally. It is because Muslims are predominantly. They are known to be very religious and even steadfast in applying Islamic values. Most of the educational institutions grow and develop at the initiative of community members (self-help). The distribution of Islamic Religious and Religious Education Institutions in South Kalimantan is 582 institutions. This shows the potential as well as the great responsibility that is carried out in helping the government to realize the goals of National Education. However, it is unfortunate that the diniyah education curriculum experiences stagnation does not up to date. It is not connected to the needs and expectations of the community. It is due to the curriculum tends to focus more on the teacher center. Therefore, the curriculum needs to be adjusted to the needs and expectations of the community. Hence, there is no gap between educational institutions and the community. The research method of this study used Research and Development (R&D). The approach used 2 steps, namely preliminary activities and curriculum improvement (development). The data resources obtained from questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentaries. Participants are ustadz/ustadzah who teach subjects on diniyah curriculum, experts, and graduates. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum for diniyah education especially the wustha level in South Kalimantan is needed to be revised or developed. The curriculum should be adjusted to the aspirations, needs, and expectations of the community

    Students’ Reflection towards the Integration of Tawhidic Science in the “Pandang Alam” Camp

    The purpose of this study is to observe students’ reflection towards the integration of Tawhidic Science at the program “Kem Pandang Alam”, at Tanjung Tuan Wildlife Reserve and several other locations nearby Tanjung Tuan, Teluk Kemang and Si Rusa, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan Malaysia. The respondents of this study were 32 students from tahfiz schools and tahfiz science schools (15 boys and 17 girls). These students were exclusively selected candidates from their respective schools. Data were analysed based on constant comparative analysis. The finding reveals that there were seven themes including greatness of God’s knowledge; nature as the source of knowledge, education and lesson; improvement of faith; self-development, the formation of identity, the increase of awareness, and the closer of social relations. The implication of this study is to expose these students the importance of the integration of Tawhidic Science where science and religion are inseparable from everyday life

    Kebijakan Pendidikan Islam Berbasis Motto Daerah “Bersujud” di Kabupaten Tanah Bumbu Kalimantan Selatan

    The presence of a motto is not just a word sweetener. But it must have meaning that can be implemented in a concrete form. The values of Islamic education contained in the prostration motto can be implemented in the form of policies by the government as the formulator of the motto. So, it becomes a necessity if the motto "prostrate" is applied by the community, it will be able to bring to the regional development goals. This study aims to describe the policy of Islamic education based on the prostration motto in Tanah Bumbu Regency, as well as the obstacles and carrying capacity of the government in implementing Islamic education policy based on the prostration area motto. The method used by researchers is descriptive qualitative research with a policy study approach. Collecting data with direct interview techniques to respondents, namely Dr. Zairullah Azhar Regent of Tanah Bumbu Regency for the first period (2003-2010), as well as people involved in the policy as participants and the local community as a crosscheck who felt directly the impact of the policy. The results of this study indicate that the policy of Islamic education based on the prostration area motto begins with the formulation of the concept of the prostration area motto by Dr. Zairullah Azhar, prostration is an abbreviation of the values of Islamic education that is clean, thankful, honest, and peaceful. The implementation of policies based on this prostrate values includes Divine management, the obligation to pray in congregation for the ASN (State Civil Apparatus), the midday prayer in congregation, the Al Qur'an program (before work), the Duha prayer in the morning. , grave pilgrimage as a strategy for not corruption, Islamic education in the non-formal form of recitation of the majelis ta ‟lim. However, this policy does not touch on formal institutions, and society at large. Some people's acceptance of these policies follows and some does not. Because the policy can only be felt directly by the ASN / PNS. The policy of Islamic education based on prostration motto has not been able to be implemented in general in all fields. So that finally led to a conclusion that the policy of Islamic education based on the prostrate motto has not been fully implemented properly

    Solusi atas Permasalahan Pengawasan dan Penagihan Outstanding Premi Asuransi Syariah di Indonesia

    Islamic Insurance has to increase its profit, especially premium as the main income to maximize the profit. It’s also the purpose of the Sharia Unit Bumiputera Muda 1967 General Insurance. Therefore, it needs strategies and efforts and minimizes the obstacles. One of them is the premium receivables that have matured but not collected or called the outstanding premium. This study aims to analyze problems of the premium receivables that have matured but not collected or called the outstanding premium. Therefore, it needs strategies and efforts and minimizes the obstacles. This study uses a qualitative-quantitative method using Analytic Network Process (ANP). The analysis is focused on internal-external problems and short-term-long term solutions from Sharia Unit Bumiputera Muda 1967 General Insurance that are expected to overcome these problems. The results showed that the most priority problem is internal problems, as follows: premium payment and billing system, internal control, and less effective business processing. Meanwhile, the most priority solution is short-term, as follows: communication and confirmation, performance and operational effectiveness, and structural appreciation and punishment. The results are expected to be implemented by insurers and support the regulator to establish specific policies related to this issue

    Memotret Kinerja Guru Madrasah dalam Pembelajaran

    Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mendapatkan gambaran mengenai kualitas kinerja guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Samarinda, dan memetakan kinerja guru tersebut berdasarkan masa kerja, jenjang pendidikan, dan status kepegawaian guru. Populasi penelitian guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah Samarinda berjumlah 629 guru, kemudian diambil sampel sebanyak 76 guru menggunakan teknik multi-stage sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan questionare model skala likert. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif untuk menggambarkan kualitas  kinerja guru madrasah dalam proses pembelajaran, dan Analysis of Varian (ANOVA) untuk memetakan kinerja guru berdasarkan masa kerja, jenjang pendidikan,  dan status kepegawaian. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan, bahwa para guru Madrasah Tsanawiyah di Samarinda memiliki kinerja yang baik. Kinerja guru berdasarkan masa kerja terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan, dalam arti guru yang memiliki masa kerja lebih lama menunjukkan kinerja lebih baik dibandingkan guru dengan masa kerja lebih pendek. Kinerja guru berdasarkan jenjang pendidikan tidak berbeda secara signifikan. Kinerja guru menurut status kepegawaian juga tidak menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang  signifikan

    Era digital sudah merambah di berbagai lini kehidupan sehingga pendidikan juga layak untuk melakukan akselerasi pengembangan inovasi pembelajaran berbasis internet. Oleh karenanya perlu dilakukan pemetaan ilmiah terkait akselerasi sekolah dasar dalam mengikuti perkembangan zaman khususnya dalam penggunaan internet sebagai sumber belajar di lingkungan SD. Urgensi (keutamaan) penelitian ini adalah terpetakannya pola penggunaan internet oleh sekolah dasar baik dalam pembelajaran maupun non pembelajaran, serta terpetakannya pola penggunaan internet di sekolah dasar tersebut dapat digunakan sebagai pijakan akselerasi yang dilakukan sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan jenis survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh sekolah dasar di Kota Yogyakarta dan sampel penelitian ini adalah 25 sekolah di Kota Yogyakarta. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan adalah angket. Data hasil penelitian diolah dengan menggunakan analisis data statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan: a) Mayoritas sekolah di KotaYogyakarta (84%) belum menjadikan lab komputer sebagai sumber belajar dalam pembelajaran, b) Seluruh (100%) sekolah di Kota Yogyakarta memiliki akun media sosial sebagai sarana sosialisasi sekolah, c) Hanya sebagian kecil sekolah di kota Yogyakarta (24%) yang memiliki e-learning sebagai sumber belajar berbasis Learning Management Sistem (LMS)

    Domestic violence is inseparable from gender inequality. Logotherapy influences attitudes and psychological changes for victims of domestic violence significantly. Through the concept of logotherapy, victims can realize that they can overcome depression by pursuing the meaning of live and realize that they can fight to overcome their problems. The aim of this article is to discuss the concept of logotherapy in managing trauma and reducing depression of domestic violence victims. A combination of descriptive methods and literature research is utilized to analyze journal articles and research reports regarding logotherapy. The results show that logotherapy can reduce the level of depression of domestic violence victims.     Analisa Sistem Informasi Geografis Pemetaan Rumah Sakit di Kota Samarinda Berbasis Web

    There have been many hospitals in Samarinda, but the rapid development of hospitals in Samarinda, not accompanied by the development of media support facilities and hospital information is still lacking especially in terms of mapping hospitals in Samarinda City. Currently, the hospital in Samarinda has 14 hospitals. To speed up and facilitate the search of data of hospitals that currently number 14 hospitals, the proposed problem is to build a web based application  of Hospital Geographic Information System (GIS)  in Samarinda. The research was conducted at the Samarinda City Health Office. Methods used in data collection include field studies (interviews and observations), and library studies. Data analysis was conducted  qualitatively based on technological analysis, GIS data analysis, and analysis of  GIS output information. The results showed that this geographic information system could display a map of Samarinda city along with the hospital information. This geographic information system can provide solutions in solving the search for the nearest specialist doctor and show the closest route to the hospital
